Angeal had begun to hold on the same way that he had, the infection had not gotten too bad as he was not fading in and out of consciousness yet. He looked over to her and saw just how battle ready she truly was, she was ready to fight this big three headed beast and had no problem protecting him. This was comforting and a bad sign at the same time, because maybe she could beat majority of her opponents but there is always someone stronger and more deadly that could come along and take you down. He looked at how far off the ground they were, and how slow they were moving, he could tell that Cerberus was faster than this, he was a freaking dog, and a big one at that. ''Come one. Go faster!'' He patted it on it's head hoping not to anger it. ''I'm dying here and you're taking your sweet time'', he said resting his face on the back of Cerberus' head.
''His name is Cerberus. He's a softy when you aren't in battle with him. But otherwise he's a savage'', he said as Cerberus let his tongue flop out and he started panting just like a normal dog would. His vacant head that did not have a rider on it turned back and forth looking around and making sure nothing could sneak up on them. It truly was a good battle companion, not that Angeal had been in many battles with it, only two as a matter of fact. And Angeal really did not fight, he just watched, as Cerberus went berserk on the enemy. Glad Cerberus was on his side, and even better seemed to have a conscious thought of who to attack and who not to attack.
''A canyon huh? Well 'beasty' here will be just fine I bet.'' Angeal rose from his resting position and looked to where she was pointing. If worse came to worse, he would let Fang and Cerberus handle any enemies. ''Your accent is kind of......'', he hesitated to say the next part and just wrote it off as him being delusional from the infection, which was not a good sign if it truly was.

~HighWind Nightmare~ "It doesn't matter what our focus is. We do it. Whether we like it or not.” Fang hung there on the beasts neck and tried to maintain her balance, finally she got comfortable and relaxed a little bit, though it wasn't easy. She glanced over at Angeal as he just talked to his Eidolon. She talked to Bahamut, but it was so odd...seeing someone else talk to theirs. Cerberus. She rolled the name around her her mind for a few seconds. Glancing over at the head that was on constant guard, Fang decided that Angeal was telling the truth when he said that Cerberus was savage. Just the gleam in her eye told her she wouldn't have gotten off easy in battle with him. He also seemed so oddly out of place when the tongue came out and he looked like a dog. She glanced down at the head attached to the neck she was sitting on, it was watching her. Somewhat eerily actually.
Cerberus moved faster and Fang unconsciously tightened the pressure in her legs, finding a better grip. She narrowed her eyes and sent him a look when he mocked what she had called his Eidolon. She glanced at the wide span of the beasts chest and body and then glanced hesitantly at the small, cramped path that wound through the rocks. Shaking her head, she hoped they would make it through. When Cerberus continued through the tight space she noticed that there was almost no room for anything else with how large the Eidolon was. The rocks were jagged and kept only nearly missing her bare leg. Fang switched her position to the side facing Angeal so it wouldn't scrape her. She reached her hand out a few times to feel the rocks against her fingers.
When he started on about her accent and stopped Fang turned her eyes toward him, “Kind'a what?” Curious, she turned her head again to look at where they were going. Truth be told she didn't ever think about her accent. Everyone from Gran Pulse had talked the way she did, or had an accent, so when she had woke on Cocoon and no one talked like that she had been surprised. Cerberus kept going and she kept glancing in front of them, hoping to see the place she had always stayed when she was at the Steppes. She knew it would be a few more minutes though, so it didn't pay to watch yet. Her hand then rested on the head of Cerberus and she found herself studying the beast. Angeal hesitated, he knew she didn't do too well with complimenting people. And he knew that he ran the risk of looking like a fool, but once again the infection was speaking for him, ''It's really sexy (Can we say sexy?)'', he said trying not to sound stupid but completely aware to the fact that he probably did. He smirked knowing she would not like it, but she would not hit him, he was still injured in a big way. Then he wondered if she would really care. The wound was getting worse by the second, they needed some speed. ''Cerberus! Let's get the lead out man! Come on'', he said patting him and watching as he jumped onto the top part of the canyon and began sprinting in the same direction. Angeal held on for dear life.
''Hold on'', he said gripping the neck fiercely and not letting go. Falling off meant certain death for him, he knew coupled with the height from which he would fall, the jagged rocks would not feel nice. Cerberus easily reached a top speed of 150 miles an hour, and since he was huge then he was basically jumping a mile per step.

~HighWind Nightmare~ "If you don't have the nerve for it, I'll do it myself. Go on alone, get stronger, and smash Cocoon out of the sky!” Fang's eyes got slightly wider at his description of her voice. Sexy? Was he seriously alright? She gave him a questioning look, basically asking if he was serious of if he was just talking out of his head. She had never considered her accent appealing, it was just an accent. But she shrugged and glanced at him again, not sure what she should say. “If ya' say so, personally I think your wound is gettin to your head.” Enough said, suddenly she was clinging to the beast with all her strength as Angeal urged it foreward. “Are you crazy?” She started before wrapping her arms around its neck and just concentrating on hanging on. He told her to hang on and if she could have, she would have sent him another glare, what did he think she was going to be doing?
She saw them pass the spot and whacked the over sided brute lightly on top of its head. “Hey! Go back, we just passed it ya big oaf.” Suddenly everything was ground to a halt as Cerberus slowed down and turned back the way they had come. When they got to the place she sat back up, “Roight here, stop!” Now THAT had been an interesting ride. Sitting there for a second, Fang got her sense back after the wild ride and actually smiled “Well that was fun.” She looked around at where they were, still overgrown, but it was safe, or as safe as they were going to get in Gran Pulse. Fang got off the head of Cerberus and felt relieved to be on solid ground again.
Standing there, she turned back and once again felt odd looking into the eyes of the head that was watching her. Turning her eyes on Angeal and trying to ignore the eyes, she put a hand on the neck and looked at Angeal, waiting to see if he was alright. She was concerned for him, but didn't say anything. If he collapsed she'd be there to look out for him, until then, she didn't think she could force him to take it easy, so it was up to him to do that. The tongue suddenly dropped out of the head she was by and a panting started right by her ear. Turning her head, Fang raised her brow and stared at it, why was an Eidolon so much like a dog?

Angeal felt like the ride was helping his wound, the wind through his hair, and the cold hair numbing his chest as he sat up and let it all hit him at once. ''Hey! I was having fun'', he said as Cerberus slowed to a stop and turned around. How the hell did she have control of HIS Eidolon? It had taken him forever to get Cerberus' respect and she had gotten it with one tap of her open palm, she did not even punch him!? Angeal looked down at Cerberus and raised an eyebrow, because when he thought about it Fang was scary, and dogs work on a system of alpha males and leaders, apparently Cerberus was afraid.
Angeal looked for what spot she was talking about, then he spotted it, it did not look like much but maybe it was more on the inside. He slid off of Cerberus' neck holding each crevice in his armor like he was climbing down a latter. He patted Cerberus on his nose when he leaned his head down and nudged Angeal. This was puppy like Cerberus, not savage guardian of hell's gates, in all seriousness Angeal was glad his Eidolon, had a side that was not all business. This meant he could use it as transportation whenever he needed to, so if anything should happen to him like this again, he wouldn't have to walk to get help.
Angeal walked away from Cerberus for a moment and looked around to where they had stopped. ''W.....What the hell are we doing here?? Is this what's gonna save my life? I think I'll survive'', he said turning around to Cerberus and Fang. At that moment he could not help but wonder who he would rather fight. Cerberus was big and all but Fang was..... well Fang. Not too many people would want to fight either one of them, Angeal sat down with a flop and looked straight up feeling the pain begin to rack his body once more. This time it was more violent and he started doubling over on the ground.
Cerberus feeling his partner's pain and instinctively took half a step over to Angeal and one of the heads licked him a little and sniffed him and then looked at Fang. ''Even if he won't say it, I will. He is in pain, please help him'', said Cerberus ...... wait.... Did Cerberus just talk? Yes, Yes he did. ''I have a sort of link with him, I can tell that he wants your help, and he is too proud to say it'', Cerberus said in a deep ominous voice. He then pressed his nose to Angeal's side worrying himself.

~HighWind Nightmare~ "You wanna keep breathin? Shut up and come quiet.” Fang shook her head, she didn't care if he was having fun or not. She herself was surprised it had obeyed her as well. But it had, so end of story. The place was more like a nitch in the wall, but it was safe, and there was a ledge they could sleep under, if it was still there. He seemed to not be impressed with where they had stopped. She smiled at what surrounded her, the flowers that bloomed so brilliantly in this area. “What are we doing here? We're stoppin in the one area of Gran Pulse that doesn't have beasts that are going to try and kill you.” She looked around, “Doesn't look like much, but I've spent many nights here. So if ya really want to leave go ahead, I'll be roight here.”
He suddenly sat down and Fang nodded, he was going to stay. He should get some care for that wound, but that meant her, and he probably wouldn't let her look at it, stubborn. She went to go sit down when suddenly a voice from behind her spoke out. Fang turned around and was reaching for her lance when suddenly she realized who it was that had spoken. Her hand remained on her lance as she stared in dumbfounded disbelief. “...The hell?!” she finally burst out, green eyes wide and staring. How could that be possible?! Eidolon's weren't supposed to talk. No! That wasn't right...but it didn't matter what was right or not, the fact was, Cerberus had indeed spoken.
She just stood here, unable to move when suddenly she realized what it had said. She was having a hard time believing what she had heard and seen. “Alroight then Beasty, I'll see what I can do, no promises though.” Turning, she shook her head and advanced toward Angeal. “You heard 'im, gonna get that shirt off so I can take a look?” Hands went on her hips, there would be times she would let him win arguments...this wasn't one of those times. She knew enough about wounds to clean it up properly, which it hadn't been. She could only imagine what his wound looked like now, probably not good. But she was going to make him let her look at it one way or the other, even if he was to proud to let her see his pain. He wasn't going to get anywhere with her, she had entered the stubborn streak and she wasn't going to let him win.

Cerberus was glad to hear that she would help Angeal, Cerberus knew just how stubborn he was, and wouldn't let anyone help him if he could help him. So knowing this Cerberus looked on and noticed Angeal was not turning over for Fang to see the wound. So gently Cerberus took is paw and turned Angeal over with force, he held his arm down with enough pressure to keep it in place but not allowing him to move it. Another head craned it's neck and held his two legs down while the other head held his remaining arm, so now Angeal was fully spread out. ''Stop being so damn stubborn and let her check you out. I swear you can be insufferable sometimes'', Cerberus' head that was free used one of it's fangs to rip the shirt right up the middle.
Angeal's eyes shot open when his beast began helping Fang, What the hell. This was mutiny! Mutiny! Angeal struggled but forgot just how powerful Cerberus was. ''What're you doing you traitor?!'', yelling made him squirm even more as it caused him even more pain. As the shirt ripped Angeal saw just how dark the surrounding area had gotten on the short ride to the point they were at. He threw his head back as the air hit the wound causing it to sting a little. ''Cerb, I promise we're fighting after this is over'', he said wincing a bit more and still trying to wrench his way from the beasts grip. He felt like their chew toy, which was NOT what he wanted to be at this point.
''Oh, shut up you stubborn old bastard. You always do this when you need help. She obviously cares enough to do this for you, just shut your trap'', he growled out. It was obvious that Angeal and Cerberus had a love hate relationship, but there was more love than hate behind Cerberus' voice.
Still resolve that he would be fine Angeal shot back at Cerberus. ''You mutt, I know when I'm fine and when I'm not, now let me go before you're made into puppy chow'', he said. Angeal did not like how he was being forced to get help.
''SHUT UP!'', Cerberus yelled back angrily. They both glared at each other and the electricity between them.

~HighWind Nightmare~ "You wanna keep breathin? Shut up and come quiet.” Fang watched with curiosity as Beasty and Angeal went at it. She hadn't ever seen such a love-hate relationship before...especially not with a Eidolon either. She actually snickered when he pawed him to the ground and kept him in place. “Traitor is it? Don't want me to look at'cha that much hm?” She crossed her arms and went to stand by him, leaning over and glaring him down, the extent of her gaze telling him to shut up and lay still. Clearing her throat, she nodded toward Cerberus, “At least I've got your help Beasty, to bad he's so damn stubborn.” When they finally settled down and just glared at each other Fang knelt down by where Angeal was pinned down and reached a hand out to lay on his chest. “To bad you won't get your wish, best to just shut up and let me look.”
She glanced down at the wound and blinked a few times. It had gotten a lot worse then it had been on Cocoon. If she had any less self control she might have gasped, it looked infected and utterly horrible. Fang winced herself when she saw it. It needed to be cleaned first of all. “I'm gonna get some water, try not to kill each other till I get back alroight?” Giving them both a hard look, Fang turned and walked down the path to where there was a small river flowing. Leaning down, Fang realized the only thing she had to clean the wound was what she was wearing. Shrugging, she unwrapped her blue wrap, her black shirt and shorts still on. Dipping the cloth into the water, Fang whetted it completely and turning, made her way back to where the Eidolon was still standing over the furious Angeal.
Kneeling down once more beside him, she cleared her throat, “This isn't gonna feel good, but it needs to be cleaned.” With that she folded the blue wrap up and glancing at him once, hesitated only briefly before reaching her hand down and starting to clean the wound. She gritted her teeth, knowing it must hurt like all holy hell, but he'd better just lay there and take it, or else she'd have to knock him out and get it done. And she would do it too. The dried blood started coming off as she worked her way as gently as she could. It now looked red with infection. She had to do something about that too, but it was getting late, she couldn't see to go anywhere, and the moon wouldn't be out for awhile yet. Fang peered at his wound in the fading light, “Its infected for sure, but just cleaning it up will help. I think the fresh air will do some good too, so no putting that armor back over it to just make it fester more, ya hear me?”

Unbelievable, he was being held down by his Eidolon while Fang experimented on him. This was a problem, of course Angeal knew he was stubborn but shouldn't his Eidolon, whom he was chosen to stick beside, respect his decision to be stubborn. Well Cerberus was clearly not one for Angeal's stubbornness and held him down perfectly so that he could not move even a little. Angeal was beside himself with anger when the water seeped into the wound causing an outrageously painful reaction from Angeal. He bit back his urge to scream as it seemed like he was being set on fire, his body jerked under Cerberus' grip and which put a bit of doubt into the beast's head about how much pain they were really causing instead of taking the pain away. ''Agh!'', he grunted as Fang wiped at the wound attempting to clean it, she said something but honestly Angeal could not pay attention to it because of the horrible sensations behind it all.
As she stopped talking the pain seemed to subside because she was getting closer to finishing. Angeal had a look of pure disgust on his face for being in such pain from a little wound. He was SOLDIER, they ate nails for breakfast, prided themselves on how much pain they could take. Yet here he was whining over a little scratch. He turned his head over away from Fang as he knew what she must've thought of him from his reactions. Damnit, he hated showing weakness, it was like giving someone permission to dominate you, and if there was anything he hated worse than showing pain, was losing the pride that came with being your own ruler.
''Come on kid, it's alright now huh?'', asked Cerberus lowering his head hoping the look of anger would leave Angeal's face, but no such thing was about to happen. One could surmise that Angeal and Cerberus had sort of a Master-Student relationship as well, after all Cerberus had been about for centuries, and knew more than Angeal could EVER hope to know. If they were under different circumstances then they would be just like a boy and his dog (HAH I made a funny). One of Cerberus' head let its tongue lop out and lick Angeal's face causing a huge amount of slobber to stay on Angeal's face as the tongue was easily the size of Angeal's entire body, probably even bigger.
''Come on you idiot!'', Angeal snapped back shacking his head throwing the dog saliva off.

~HighWind Nightmare~ ”I hear the sanctum prevent people from leaving Cocoon. I'd like to see 'em try and stop me.” She made no comment about his groan, just kept cleaning and blocked him out. She knew it was painful, but it was also necessary, so he had to take it, even if it hurt. He turned his head away and she shrugged, she didn't give a damn if he was mad at her, it had to be done. So she sat back on her heels and looked from the Eidolon to the master. Shaking her head, she pressed a hand to her forehead, rubbed it slightly before sitting down a few feet off. She should get up and make a fire. Sitting down with one knee bent and the other leg extended, Fang rolled her shoulders to get the kinks out of them before standing up. Without so much as a word or a backwards glance she turned and walked off into the fading light.
Finding her way more through feel and knowledge, Fang moved around without a sound and gathered wood, ranging from large pieces down to tinder sized pieces. Coming back with her arms full, she added it to the pile of dead wood that had been there from before. Leaning over, she put it down carefully before kneeling. Brushing her hair back over her shoulder, Fang watched the communication between Angeal and Cerberus without comment, only a shadow of a smile here and there. When Angeal burst out at him Fang shook her head, “Testy one ain't he.”
She piled the branches up so that there was the smaller tinder as well as the larger pieces before leaning back and stretching her hands out. A red flash sparkled there before she sent it down into the wood. It smoldered for a second before she leaned down and blew on it to get it going. It caught and flashed as the fire ate at the wood. Feeding it some more sticks, she smiled in satisfaction before looking out at the sun, which was still casting some light down on the world below it. Soon that light would be gone as well. Stacking a few more pieces of wood up within easy access to the fire, she retreated slowly and went to check on Angeal once again, not that he would be happy to see her. He seemed more likely to snap at her then show appreciation, which was fine with her, she wasn't that great at the whole appreciation thin anyway.
Reaching back, Fang took out her lance and laid it on the ground. Inhaling the scent of the world around her, she relaxed and stifled a yawn. She wasn't worried about staying guard, Cerberus would take care of that. She was glad too, not fun staying awake when anyone else got to sleep, although at least then she could be alone with her thoughts. Glancing up, she could see the first few stars sparkling across the sky. This was the life. Sure the beasts weren't exactly friendly, but who cared when the planet was so vibrant? “You gonna tell me if you hurt or am I just gonna get the usual 'nothing affects me' answer you seem to radiate?” Words: 643 Muse: good Notes: none

When she finished cleaning him Cerberus released him from his grip and Angeal got up slowly, the pressure Cerberus had put on his limbs he found that he was limp when he tried to stand and was forced to fall back to the earth. This put a chink in his plan to storm off dramatically, which was probably not the best plan to begin with because he was still wounded. So he was forced to lie there with Cerberus overlooking him and wondering what the hell his problem was. ''The hell are you looking at?'', he asked looking off to the side feeling embarrassed and knowing Cerberus was probably laughing in his head, Angeal had just whined like a child being spanked. ''Stop giving me that look, you know I don't like being helped'', he said still looking away.
He knew not why Fang had walked off but he assumed it was because he had made her mad. Which was understandable, he was being a jackass, all she wanted to do was help him and he could not even take that much. Cerberus' dominant head eyed Angeal closely, how could one man have such stubbornness residing in his body. ''I don't think you see what's in front of your face kid. That girl over there has feelings for you, and you probably have some of your own. You're just so foolish'', he said. Cerberus could tell these things from being around the two, he had caught Angeal staring at her a few times including before she walked away for fire wood. ''You COULD act as if I can't smell her, he hormones are in a frenzy whenever you get close to her. The same goes for you'', he said looking at Angeal sideways. (Yes....Cerberus knows these things LOL)
Angeal tried his best to tune Cerberus, but he was right, Angeal was being stupid, and he knew he was. Just too damn prideful to admit it like most other things. He tried standing now, and it surprisingly worked better. His behavior had to be spoken for, she when Fang spoke to him he sat down next do her and thought carefully before he spoke to her. He gave Cerberus a look as if he was saying, 'give us some time alone', Cerberus caught the hint and walked away to a safe distance where he could keep guard and still give them privacy.
''For the longest in SOLDIER one could not show weakness, or it meant sure death. I'm not used to having someone actually care for me on a level higher than just an infirmary nurse'', he said trying not to meet her gaze with his own. ''I don't make it a practice to let someone know when I'm hurt. Injuries that fester like that are common to me, I'm so used to just strapping on my armor and keeping it moving'', he said looking down at the ground and kicking up some dirt away from them. Angeal snickered to himself at how much of a child he sounded like just now. ''That's why I did not let you touch the wound. Because I'm not used to anyone who would hold me down to help me'', he chuckled and scooted closer to her to let her know that he was serious in his effort to make her understand. She probably hated him by now, and Cerberus probably resented him as well. She had the same issue though, so would she understand him?

~HighWind Nightmare~ ”Now don't you worry, I'll come and find you, no matter where you go.” Fang sat and relaxed as she watched the crackling flames for a few moments. Dancing, they beckoned you to loose yourself in their bright tongues, but Fang wouldn't stare into the fire for more then just a few seconds. If you did, you would become blind to the darkness around you. And in a world where you kept alive by your senses, becoming blind would get you killed. Instead she sat, legs outstretched and crossed, arms supporting herself on the ground behind her. She felt the approach of Angeal more then heard him, green eyes focusing on Beasty walking the other direction. Fang said nothing, just enjoyed the silence until he decided to start talking.
She turned her head away and didn't look at him while he talked, just looked up toward the sky. It made sense what he told her, but she had already known that. Not that he had told him, but any big strong man seemed to be upset when they were down for the count and were forced to be given help. She understood where he was coming from, after all, she disliked having to rely on others for help, and yet, it had happened more then once. Even if she didn't like it, she had to heed her own advice and grin and bear it. She was thinking of just ignoring him and letting him think she was mad. But she shrugged and without looking at him, took her turn to speak. “You should take your own advice and let people in more ya know. I do know where your comin from though, so don't sweat it.” Amazingly perceptive, Fang wondered if his talking to her about it had something to do with his Eidolon. She then looked at him, “But if Beasty hadn't stepped in I might have knocked ya out to get the job done. So just be thankful I didn't.”
Laying back with a sigh, Fang rested her hands underneath her head and looked at the sky. Everything was so pure here, no lighting showing through from the cities littering Cocoon, no PSICOM running around, no pollutions, but it was strangely empty without Vanille. That plus the fact that they hadn't seen a single soul so far. She wondered if there was anyone left on Gran Pulse. “I've always loved the stars. Its the one thing that has remained the same.” In a life where everything was uncertain and hung in the balance, the stars had always made her remember...remember that you chose your own destiny. “What about you? Anything you actually like underneath that cold exterior?”

Was she really give him a speech on letting people in, she was the one who's person was harder to get inside than a combination lock. Yet he knew she was right, if nothing else, he could let her in. Usually it took a few years for Angeal to let someone in completely, but Fang had proven her trust in one day, which was not easy. She had fought beside him, or tried to at least, saved him from sure death, and is still right there with him even though she could have been long gone by this time. ''I'm not going to trust any human being, they are like bubbles. Here today, and gone tomorrow, It's more about protecting anyone from me than vice versa, ya know'', he said leaning back propping himself up on the arms. For the longest it had been Angeal, Sephiroth, and Genesis, then Genesis left and Angeal lost his honor. He had abandoned SOLDIER and his student took him down.
''I say this because it's how I was, I abandoned everyone that needed me. And I died for it'', he said looking down not trying to get into his sob story. ''Ehhh, never been one for star gazing, the only stars I every saw were the ones created by explosions. I do enjoy that big idiot though, we sound like we hate each other, but he's really the only one I have been able to rely on this whole time'', he said looking ahead to Cerberus. ''And you can see why. I can trust him to hold me down when I need treatment even though I don't want it'', he said the stinging in his side, but this was the healing sting not the infected sting.
He could not believe he was letting her this close, but it felt right for some reason. He had never met a woman who was willing to care for him so completely, she was even willing to knock him out. Now that was something special. ''Haven't you tried to knock me out about ten times now? Has it worked?'', he said mocking her and laughing. Angeal looked up waiting for her response, he was sure it would be something snappy or smart, there was no way she would let him win after she just saved his life.

~HighWind Nightmare~ ”It doesn't matter what our focus is. We do it. Whether we like it or not.” Fang didn't say anything more about trusting anyone. She had already become a little bit of a hypocrite as it was, telling him that he should let people in when she herself didn't let anyone in. Just the fact that she had told him as much as she had about herself was saying something. And yet she had...what did that mean? She didn't quite know, but she assumed it meant that she had let him in, more then she herself would like. “I hear ya.” She wasn't going to get any more in depth about him allowing himself to let people in when she didn't do it herself. She hated hypocrites, and wasn't going to become one herself.
He brushed over something that probably had something to do a lot with his history, but she wasn't one to pry, so she didn't ask anything about it. What he liked was that oversized dog? She glanced at it out of the corner of her eye, helluva thing to enjoy. She shrugged, to each his own. “So the only thing you trust is an oversized dog with three heads that could kill with one swipe of his paws?” She had to smile at that, of course, it was to be expected from him. But she lay and watched the stars with green eyes that could be cold as ice. She felt the cool wind on the parts of her that were exposed, but she relished it, it was refreshing.
“Hey, you better be careful. I wont use my fist this time, I'll use my lance to knock you out. And that, is a promise.” Eyes closed and she yawned. The crackle of the fire and the quite murmur of the river that flowed made her peaceful. It was home, and she enjoyed being here. “Ya know, I kept tellin' myself that I'd get to come back here, but I'm not actually sure I believed it. It was just something to keep me goin'. Now that I'm here, I'm not exactly sure where to go from here.” What she really wanted to know was where she had to go to find out exactly what her focus was. Oerba? She remembered everything about her childhood as clear as day, but the one thing she needed...it was gone. A blank page. She hated it, not knowing, why couldn't she remember? It would make this all that much easier. It frustrated her, because in her own way, she couldn't just rely on her own knowledge, she had to go on, dig deeper and find out the hard way. And she was running out of time. Words: 576 Muse: Good Note: None

Angeal felt the stinging go away as she spoke on Cerberus and how huge he was, Angeal had never really thought about it, of course he knew Cerberus was big but he never thought of the dog killing him. She always had of way of making threats, more like promises, and he knew she had a way of .... ''keeping'' her promises. So he decided not to retort at her last comment in his current condition. ''I've had that feeling, wanting something so badly, then getting it and becoming un-willfully complacent. It's the feeling I got at the beginning of every mission, knowing death is a sword stroke away, or a trigger pull'', he said looking down and letting his hand rest on his knee and stretching his back, this was a good sign because his wound did not sting him.
''You patched me up pretty well, I gotta say I'm glad I let you help me. I know I'm pretty insufferable sometimes, but you stuck with Fang. You're like the best friend I've had in a long long time'', he said not trying to get all sappy and stuff. He looked to her and realized he had to stop himself before he got too deep and really hurt this girl. Which at this point was the last thing he wanted to do to her, so ripping himself from his thoughts he got up and began to walk away as to not wreck anyone's life.
He moved to the other side of the fire and laid on the flat of his back, what was he thinking? He could not get attached to this girl, knowing his focus was one of the hardest ones to ever be give and that he could either die or become a monster. Nobody else will get hurt because of him he had already hurt enough people.
