After fighting for his life in this place earlier in the month Angeal had grown a bit attached to Cocoon, Not too loud, but yet not too quiet. He roamed the streets of the markets, the alleyways behind local bars, even the wild life here, such as cats, dogs and birds seemed to be happier than on Gaia. Although he could not begin to imagine why, a few days ago this place was almost destroyed and now everything was moving like nothing had happened. Angeal stumbled upon what seemed to be a main street from all the activity there, women played with their children, old men sat in front of barber shops and drank from bottles which Angeal didn't even want to know the contents of.
Still, this place was all to crowded for Angeal, slightly rude, Angeal let his giant white wing rip out from his shoulder and create space, as well as a stir. People stared at him, children smiled at his wing, women somewhat swooned and men were mad that their women were looking at him. He chuckled as the wing began to flap and allowed a few white feathers to fall from it. He kept walking with a stoic look on his face as if to say, ''Get out of my way'', and none relenting, the people did so.
As he reached a stop light Angeal decided pulling the wing in now wouldn't do any good, the people obviously liked it and although he didn't exactly like the attention, seeing the faces light up was worth it.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” Fang walked down the main road, swaying her hips and glancing here and there, Lance as always was held behind her on her back. Black hair with red tips as always was untamed upon her head. Nothing about her looked quite…tamed, in fact if you looked at her you could see the independence sparkling in her eyes. The worry couldn’t be seen by anyone except Vanille, who was the only person who had always been able to read her like a book. Maybe it was because they grew up together in that blasted orphanage. She had never longed for her family as much as she suspected Vanille had, they had helped each other survive those long years together. And then their plans had been uprooted…they had been made l’cie. Why the fal’cie had picked THEM she could never understand, but it had made her angry…being a fal’cie slave wasn’t exactly her idea of a fun time. She made her way past people, if they knew what she was they would be terrified of her, of what she represented. She walked alone, but that didn’t bother her in the least. And then she saw him. She raised her eyebrows and stopped, her arms crossed. He had his wing out and was walking past people with quite the expression on his face. She remembered him, from a few days ago when Cocoon had been threatened by that woman, sorceress, whatever she had been. That was HER job to destroy Cocoon, no cheap, sorry excuse for a sorceress was going to do it for her. He had tried to stop her when she was going to attack, that much she knew right away. She was close to him as he stopped and pulled the wing back into his body. She had never seen anything quite like that. How could anyone do that with a wing? She just watched him for a moment, her green eyes sparkling. She thought of simply going the other way…he was human, a normal person, if he knew she was a l’cie he would be like all the rest. She hadn’t bumped into PSICOM for days now, but she also hadn’t seen Vanille either. Even since she forced her to leave in that plant she hadn’t seen her. Worry was deep in her chest, her heart, but she was trying to keep the worry out, but it was hard. She stood there, arms folded across her chest and her eyes watching him. He was a large man, that she wouldn’t deny. In fact she hadn’t seen another human quite so big as he was. He towered above the rest, even her 5.9 didn’t even come close to his height. She stepped closer, her arms crossed, “Well I guess we meet again eh Handsome?”

Angeal always felt a slight pinch when the wing would recede into his flesh, but nothing ever to whine about. The people all went back to their normal lives as it left, but Angeal could still feel their minds wanting to know how in the hell he got that wing. Then a voice sprang from near him and it seemed familiar enough for him to respond. As he turned it was the lady whom he had taken up his sword beside to fight that creature earlier. ''Oh, Um, Hi? Fang correct?'', he said waving and smiling. He found her attractive to say the least, and seemingly from her calling him handsome, she felt the same. He stepped as she did the same and almost came chest to chest with her. He almost jumped back, but he caught himself, couldn't seem easily intimidated by her.
Angeal looked her up and down, quite a nice figure for someone who fought as well as she did, he never quite got the chance to thank her for helping him fight. And the fact was, if not for her, it would've been a LOT harder than it was. ''I suppose we do meet again, sexy'', he said giving her a nickname of his own. Her nickname was slightly less aggressive though, but sometimes being aggressive grabbed a woman's attention. Although sometimes, it was a bit of a red button, he remembered how pissed she had gotten during the fight and hoped not to set off a mini explosion similar to that.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” He turned, said his greeting and asked if her name was Fang. She nodded, green eyes watching him. He didn’t look any worse off from the fight they had just been in a few days before. Obviously he was used to the rough treatment of fighting. Her arms were still crossed as she appraised him once again. She wondered what exactly he was. He wasn’t PSICOM, and he wasn’t guardian corps, was he some different kind of soldier from Cocoon that she didn’t know of? Working with Cid gave her all sorts of Intel about the different types of government officials, but she couldn’t put a finger on what exactly he was. She would do well to know. Maybe she would ask him, but not at this exact moment. If he was from the government he would surly know about fal’cie and the l’cie, and she wasn’t hiding her brand. Since he hadn’t said anything about it would lead her to assume he wasn’t with the government, although everything, the way he moved, the way he carried himself, even his weapon spoke of the military. When he called her sexy her eyebrows just raised, but she chose not to say anything about it. Men were an odd bunch, but she just let it slide for now. “Oerba Yun Fang it is, I guess this is proper introduction, didn’t really get too much of a chance before…” She outstretched her arm to shake hands with him, green eyes looking into his own intense blue eyes. Out of curiosity she decided to say something about them, “Your eyes are so…blue. Why?” She stated before catching herself and frowning a bit, she shouldn’t start talking to anyone from Cocoon. They were bad, plus she was going to destroy them all anyway. That must be her focus, although she couldn’t remember anything about her focus. She should be distancing herself from everyone from Cocoon, they were vipers, she was from Gran Pulse, she should have just kept walking…

Angeal could sense the 'sexy' comment didn't go over to well with her, so automatically he smiled and hoped she wouldn't take any offense to it. His eyes looked down at her hand as she stretched it out to shake, and Angeal mimicked her by reaching out his own, not only a few days ago, this hand was covered in his own blood. ''My eyes?'', he retorted wondering why she wanted to know about the color of his eyes. ''Uh, well. I don't come from around here, I'm from a place called Gaia, and on Gaia I was a part of an elite military group called SOLDIER'', he began and made sure to keep himself in check not to tell her that he had betrayed SOLDIER, and left the ranks. ''In this group I was seen to be one of the best ever to rise above the ranks, and all because of a substance called 'mako', my eyes, are a result of this substance, but don't worry, all our SOLDIER have them'', he finished up and pondered whether or not to tell her about his body being experimented on and causing the wing that he uses frequently.
''But two of us SOLDIER were experimented on and marked as part of a thing called 'Project G', in this project we were all injected with 'Jenova Cells', I was the ultimate product of this project, while a friend of mine was a failed experiment'', he said referring to Genesis. ''Henceforth, I have grown a wing, and am ultimately a good warrior'', he said. Angeal didn't see anything particularly wrong with telling her this, he figured, new world, nobody would want to conduct anymore experiments on him. Then a black marking on her arm caught his eye and he thought maybe since she was asking questions about him, he could ask questions about her.
''What's up with that tattoo?'', he asked looking at it with his piercing blue eyes. ''I told you my story, now let's hear yours'', he said folding his arms. Nothing seemes to stand out on her more than her eyes, her tattoo, and that large blade which had almost impaled him before.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” She shook hands with him, meeting his grasp firmly but with femininity. Her body as always was poised like that of a cat’s, on edge but so gloriously relaxed at the same time. She shrugged her shoulders, put her hands on her waist and nodded, “Yeah your eyes…never seen any quite so blue before.” When he mentioned he wasn’t from around there she stopped still for a second, her green eyes narrowing slightly…he wasn’t from Cocoon? How was that possible? Her eyes showed her confusion, but he quickly said a place called Gaia, she wasn’t all the familiar with Cocoon so maybe he was still from here? At any rate she was a bit more relaxed but in wonderment as to what this Gaia was. She cocked her gaze, looking him up and down…he was a soldier, did that mean he would try to fight her if he figured out she was a l’cie? She resisted the urge to put a hand on her lance and stood there quietly, letting him talk before raising another question. “Wait…your not from Cocoon?” She said, letting none of her emotion show in her voice and asked the question slowly, as if pondering what his answer might be. He went on to explain his past, being experimented on and injected with something . “Sounds like you were in a mess with that.” She said, her voice twanging with her accent. She just looked at him without moving when he mentioned the tattoo, she had her regular tribal tattoo on her left shoulder, was that what he was referring to? Or was it her whitened brand on her right shoulder? “Which tattoo do ya mean?” She said, nodding her head to both shoulders. She wasn’t about to tell him she was a l’cie, why should she trust that he wouldn’t start calling PSICOM at any minute? She didn’t want that, she was confident that she could destroy PSICOM if they came after her, but she wanted to avoid that at the moment. Why get them all hot and bothered when they were already hot and bothered enough as it was. Vipers…all of them. She couldn’t stand them, Cocoon members were all the same, to confident, full of themselves, but ultimately, they had no honor or courage of any kind. She wasn’t sure she was gonna start spillin her guts to a complete stranger, he would have to earn her trust for her to come out and tell him her entire story…not that she could remember anyway…Damn it….

Angeal rubbed his head and looked down, He could tell he had stumped her on the whole, him not being from this world thing. ''No I'm not from this world period'', he said making a motion with his hand coming across his neck. ''Which is why I don't understand why I helped you all fight off that woman a few days back, it certainly wasn't because I thought you were a damsel in distress'', he said pointing to her lance and smirking. ''Haha, you handled yourself very well by the way, from what I could see, before I was you know.... damn near killed'', he smiled and looked at her for any type of expression. Angeal looked at her as if saying, ''Do I look stupid?'', when she asked what tattoo, he had clearly seen it on her when they were fighting together.
''Come on, you can't fool these eyes lady, to come along with the enhanced strength, Mako gave us SOLDIER the gift of heightened sight'', he said, not many people knew that but maybe it was just Angeal who had great sight. ''I might not be able to see it today, but I saw it during our last little escapade with your sorceress friend'', he said old wounds yelling at him with pain as he recalled the sensation of being hit by the magic which reduced him to a bloody pulp. Angeal leaned his body back and laughed as he watched her try to act like he hadn't seen what he clearly had.
''Ball in your court, So do you wanna tell me over dinner? Or what?'', he asked coming straight out and asking her on a date pretty much. Any woman who could conduct her self on the field of battle as well as on a domestic outing was something that could catch Angeal's eye. She was sassy, deadly, gorgeous, and a baleful all rolled up into one. He had never really tried his hand with the fairer sex, and he died with out really being intimate with a woman on a higher level than sex. So he figured why not...

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” She was relieved, but if he wasn’t from this world…how could he be here? Was it those portals again? The moment she had come out of crystal status she had met a man that had said he too had come from a different world. And that sorceress, she had mentioned that she was here to destroy the fal’cie because they had messed with her world. Why was everyone showing up in her world? She was going to have to see about these portals, find the fal’cie and get some answers. But he had just kept talking about why he had helped them. She had half turned away from him but now she turned back and put one hand on her hip. “Actually I’m not quite sure why I helped fight her either, if Vanille hadn’t been there I might just have let her destroy Cocoon…” She smirked and put a hand under her chin, “You didn’t do so bad yourself…handled that sword like you’ve done it your whole life. Very impressive.” She shook her head as he laughed, “I’m not hiding anything, this one here on my left shoulder is my tribal tattoo…” her brand was scorched white, she shouldn’t tell anyone she what she was, but since he wasn’t from around here he wouldn’t know would he? “The other one is my…brand.” She said carefully, ready to run or fight depending on his reaction. She reminded herself where she was, in enemy territory and chided herself for telling him anything, although she hadn’t specified what kind of brand it was. She raised her brow as he basically asked her on a date. She hadn’t been on one of those in…well over 500 years, and back then things had been considerably different. She shook her head, “You don’t want to be around me.” She smiled, “It’ll just cause you trouble.” She said dangerously, besides, if anyone that actually knew something about the fal’cie saw her they would know what her brand was. She found she would actually enjoy that, although it was only dinner, and she shouldn’t drag anyone else into this battle she had to finish. [At dinner is it alright if PSICOM shows up? And she has to run?]

As a matter of fact the only people who really knew Angeal's history was Zack, Genesis, and Sephiroth. ''Uh, well I have been handling this word my whole life, you see SOLDIER picks you from a young age'', he said. ''While all the other little kids were out playing stick ball and running around with their play swords and such, I was fighting monsters and seeing things that even a grown man shouldn't be subjected to'', he said his face faltering for a moment. Then she said something about a tribal brand, never had he heard of tribes, but that was in his own world, this world was completely different.
''Um, a brand you say, well yeah I sort of have a brand, or something you can distinguish me by'', he said pointing to his eye, these eyes, weren't held by anyone but the SOLDIER.
''I don't wanna be around you? Hm, I think I got that much the other day when I was beaten to a pulp'', he said pulling up his sleeve and showing all the scars from where the blood was gushing. Then he pointed to the scar on his face over his nose that had opened up during that fight as well. She couldn't get him into any tighter situations that he had gotten into on his own before on Gaia. Plus she could show him around and such.
''Trust me, I can handle myself.....AND you'', he said smirking.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” She learned something about this Angeal in that moment. She knew what it was like; her childhood had been robbed with the war between her world and Cocoon. Her parents and family had been killed, but she had never complaned. After all almost every other kid at that time had lost their parents in the war. The orphanages had been overflowing with kids who had nowhere else to turn, no family that could take them in. She had met her best friend there, Vanille. They had been close as long as she could remember, she loved her more then anything, but still she wished she could have gotten to know her family more then she had before they had been killed. She could barely remember them, what they looked like, how they acted; everything had been shattered by the war. It had taught her to be strong though, most of her personality, her stubborn, devil may care attitude had been born out of desperation of the situation she had been in. Vanille had been worse off for missing her family, and though she never let on, Fang had hurt too. When they had been a bit older they had been turned into l’cie by the fal’cie, turning their upset life even more upside down. He was right, no one should have to fight and see those kinds of things, she wished even now that Vanille hadn’t been subjected to what they had gone through. She cared less about herself, but she knew Vanille was tortured on the inside. “Your right, no one should have to go through that, not even the toughest warriors. Children should have happy lives, filled with laughter and always around their family…but that won’t happen, at least not in this life it won’t.” She was glad he hadn’t pushed the issue of her brand. How could she explain it if she couldn’t even remember what her own focus was? She wished like Vanille wanted they could just forget their focus and move on, live normal lives. But she knew all to well what that would include, a few months of happiness and then being turned into a cie’th by the fal’cie. It angered her that they kept her on a leash, she hated being what she was, a fal’cie slave. It gritted on her very being, fueled her anger toward the fal’cie, but she couldn’t exactly do anything about it either. Even Vanille didn’t know she harbored such hatred toward the fal’cie, it would crush her spirit. She tried to make everything easier for Vanille, even though she knew she could take care of herself. When he questioned her saying he didn’t want to be around him she crossed her arms and nodded. She nodded when he showed her the scars from the fight with Ultimecia. Taking a deep breath she nodded, “Yes you don’t want to be around me. It will probably include a whole hell of a lot more fighting then just that damn sorceress.” She laughed when he said he could handle himself and her. “Be careful love, when you tackle me you might just bite off more then you can chew, I don’t go down easily.” Shaking her head she waved her hand, brushing off what he said, “I never said you couldn’t handle yourself, I saw you fight, I know you can handle yourself, but my life from here on out is consist of fighting to survive and protect my best friend and a whole lot of running like hell, trust me, you don’t want anyone to know you’ve even seen me, let alone talk to me.” Sighing, she shook her head, “That’s the way it is, I’m everybody’s target, so its best to stay away from me. Not because I don’t think you could handle it, but because its not worth it to get tangled up in my affairs.”

Angeal closed his eyes, her telling him what a life with her in it would in-tell, but she must not have heard him. ''That's all I've been doing my whole life, fighting, and let me tell you, I've probably fought bigger badder things than you can imagine'', he folded his arms in front of his chest. Then she began talking again about how tackling her would be biting off more than he could chew. Then a daring thought crossed his mind, but he was able to suppress it for a second and laughed. ''More than I can chew? Something tells me, you don't think I am capable of doing anything.'', he scoffed as he looked at her. Honestly she talked too much, the point was not to live for the past but for the here and now. And this thought would influence his next action.
Sure enough he would either regret his next action, or gain all kinds of respect for it. Sometimes women liked a guy who could take initiative, but maybe this was too much initiative..... Nah, no such thing. Angeal's wing sprung from his shoulder and moved rapidly over to funnel Fang towards his body. Angeal moved himself closer to him and in a step as she was moved by the wing, Angeal moved his face towards hers and locked his lips with hers gently. He pulled his face back from hers to see the look on her face.
''I know what I'm getting myself into, And I am fully well capable of handling it'', he said as he could now smell her, her scent womanly but yet strong. He looked deep into her eyes, then the thought hit him..... He was about to die..

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” Fang shrugged, ‘your funeral.’ Written all over her face as he went on about seeing things that were bigger and badder then she could ever imagine. If he had ever stood in front of a fal’cie he would change his mind, but she was getting sick of them arguing about it and just decided to let it lay as it was. When he laughed she just quirked her brow and crossed her own arms. Whatever he was thinking she probably didn’t care. She had better things to do then stand with him and argue about who had seen worse monsters. And then he said that she didn’t think he was capable of doing anything. She had just lost her patience. Rolling her eyes slightly she lifted her chin and challenged him with her eyes, “Whatever you choose to believe.” She said, her voice almost bored. She was tiring of this, besides she should find Vanille and go through with their plan to raise hell and see if she could remember their focus. “I don’t have time for this.” She said pointedly before half turning. That’s when things started happening. Wing sprouted toward her and she saw it out of the corner of her eye. She moved a hand up to ward it off, wondering what the hell he was doing as she turned back toward him, not fast enough though. She was forced to move toward him as she was caught off balance and thrown against him. His lips had closed over hers to kiss her. Her eyes narrowed as he pulled her face away from his and said that he was fully capable of handling it. Eyes became stormy as she boiled with rage at what he had just done. More because he had caught her off balance more then the actual kiss. She seethed with anger and tried to keep herself calm as she looked at him. “I guess you want to die then.” She said, her voice deadly calm, eyes piercingly green as they were when she was angry. With that she twisted her body, drew her right arm back. Closing her hand into a fist she grunted as she hit him with every ounce of strength she could muster in the jaw. “No one touches me without me telling them they can.” She said, her voice calm again, the anger embraced so fully in her just moments before had subsided somewhat after she hit him. Her body lithe might look like just a regular woman, but she had the power the fal’cie had given her when they had made her a l’cie, not many could keep up with her for physical strength.

Angeal's eyes widened as the fist came storming towards his face, okay now he could take this one, and it could be over right then and there, or he could dodge it and possibly have another come. Now Angeal had taken harder punches he was sure... That is what he thought, until it smashed into his jaw. Angeal's head shot to the side, now he had seen a few things in his life time, but a lady with such power was not one of them. He had brought it upon himself though, he let the romanticized movies that he had seen influence his action and he paid for it. ''Okay, that's not how it went in the movie'', he said laughing and whipping his mouth. His chin was good enough to accept the blow, drawing blood would take much more than that.
The white limb sort of ran away from her back into his shoulder, now hopefully she wasn't so mad as to walk away. After all they were similar in some ways, no childhood, the generic stuff. However, he somehow felt as though he was gonna receive more pummeling before she was done with him. ''Something tells me if you had hit that sorceress with that kind of power, I wouldn't have gotten bashed up like that, hehe'', he chuckled his hand still taking the flesh of his jaw and rubbing it. ''Alrighty then, now can we go where ever it was we were going, you seem to have knocked my memory out of my head'', he said rubbing vigorously as if it were some type of slime on his face.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” Fang had thought Angeal might have ducked or dodged her attack, she was surprised when he did not. Her fist connected with his jaw and snapped his head to the side. She was also surprised he didn’t fall, he must be pretty damn strong himself not to fall over with the strength she had put into that punch. All her anger had been fueled at him, she hadn’t held back either for fear of hurting him. She was facing him as he laughed, wiped his mouth and said that wasn’t how it had gone in the movie. What movie? And why had he even tried kissing her anyway? Putting her hands on her hips she shook her head and glanced at him, he had kissed her thinking her reaction would be like from a woman in a movie? Wow he really didn’t know female’s. She waited for him to do something else, make anymore advances or do anything else, but it didn’t come. She didn’t know why she didn’t walk away, perhaps curiosity, perhaps stubbornness. How could he make that light of it and just talk so lightly anyway? She had just hit him so hard most people would have fallen over and their mouths would probably bleed. When he assumed they were going somewhere still she balled up her fist and hit him again in the same spot, although not quite so hard, and she wasn’t quite so angry. “What makes you think we’re going anywhere now?” She asked, hands returning to her hips, eyes flashing still but eyebrows were raised in curiosity as she looked at him. “Besides I didn’t agree to go anywhere before you’re…cheekiness.” She said, resisting the urge to smile. Most men wouldn’t have attempted that after they had seen what she could do fighting, power to him for trying. “Hopefully I knocked some sense INTO your head too…” She said shaking her head a bit, this time a shadow of a smile slipped onto her lips, although her eyes were still sparking.

Angeal's eyes grew large once more as the second fist came, and sure enough it landed in the same spot, this time there was a ringing in his ears and he could feel himself jolt for a second into another dimension. ''Haha, you're gonna have to stop doing that, don't you realize it doesn't work, I'm still standing in the same spot'', he said chuckling and rubbing his jaw again. She really did pack a punch, but he could not falter in his stance, SOLDIER had trained him to take MUCH harder than that, he had had bricks crash into his face, fists the size of watermelons had impacted his face and her little fist was almost equivalent to that, but no dice. Still, her hitting him twice in the same spot hurt a little bit now.
''Now what I want you to tell me is that.... You will go to dinner with me, as an apologize (Yes Apologize, he's dizzy)'', he said feeling a bit out of it. I'd like to see someone else take a punch in the face like that in the first place, then take a second one in the same spot. Angeal shook his head and then came back to reality, and consciousness he was surprised he hadn't fallen yet, it felt like he had fallen. Turns out she hit like an 18 wheeler.
''I think we're going somewhere because you remember that thing that happened a few weeks back... The thing that got me all bloody and nearly dead'', he said folding his arms and referencing the battle with Ultimecia. ''Yeah that magic could've hit you instead of me, and maybe you wouldn't have taken it like I did, you could've died'', he said really glad that he had helped her. ''Now that I think of it, I'm really glad I met you there, and that I helped you fight, because meeting someone under the guise of battle shows their true colors, and I like your true colors Fang'', he finished hoping to knock some points off of his idiot score.
