Alex Webster stood at a street in the middle of Edge. So much he had missed since he broke out of the Shin-Ra Mansion a few months ago. It took him a while. But he arrived back at his home town. Midgar. He passed the train station and just paused as flashes of the train went steadily by. He could hear his mother’s screams as that train wreck killed her while she was inside the train. That was why he refused to ride on them. He would much rather take taxis. Or walk. That’s how he got here. He saw a few people with weird devices up to their ears and talking into it. Some kind of communication device no doubt. The world was filled with things he had yet to learn about. Hojo was successful in keeping him tombed from the out side world.
Alex just excused it and went on walking. He needed to eat some thing though. He was very hungry. But where to go…Along the way he was seeing these signs…An advertisement of some kind of eating establishment called, ‘7the Heaven’ And it was located right around the corner of where he was. He looked up at the street signs and just followed them…Until he reached the bar. He walked in and felt the welcoming atmosphere. There were a few already there eating…He just ignored them and took a seat at the bar and read the menu…
Alex scanned the prices of the meals. Far more gil than he had. How was he going to pay for a decent meal? But in his own mind he was making his own decisions for once….And decided that if he had to, he’d clean pot s and pans for payment….He was hungry and could smell the home cooked meals all around him…He was still quiet though. And just kept to himself. He would get fed and worry about a place to stay later on. He had to make his way in this world or he would die….Hojo always knew what to do…What was he going to do now…? Alex was confused….He did not even know how to order a meal correctly….He was sad in some ways…That he was on his own.
Alex heard some thing from behind him….It seemed to be like a transmitter….Which was only merely a radio broad casting the news…Alex listened carefully to it. They were going on about Shin-Ra….What’s happened with Shin-Ra now he wondered? He just sighed as he felt like he was dumb struck.

To Tifa's surprise the bar wasn't packed with costumers that day as usual. It was actually a very quite night. She smiled considering the thought of closing the bar earlier than usual and maybe spending her free time with Cloud when he came back from his deliverers.
"Sounds like a plan....." She whispered those words to herself at the thought of Cloud, and soon the events of the previous week floated back into her mind. Tifa still couldn't believe that Cloud actually proposed, it wasn't official yet but still he proposed after confessing his love to her.
Her cheeks heated up and soon flushed bright red recalling his words. 'It was you......You could never be a replacement....' "Cloud...." his name escaped her lips with a smile. Tifa knew things wouldn't be simple how ever now he was a lcie, but like always she wasn't about to give up on him. She was sure they would ind a way out of this together.
At the sound of the bar door opening Tifa snapped out of her own thoughts as she glanced ahead to see a costumer she has never met enter the bar. She simply smiled as she walked over to where he sat. "Hello.... welcome to Seventh Haven..... is there anything you would like to order"

"Hello.... welcome to Seventh Haven..... is there anything you would like to order" Alex looked up at Tifa. With a straight face. But soon followed a smile after that from him…He was unsure if he should order any thing. But she seemed like a nice person. So he would have to speak up to her wouldn’t he? He looked down and saw the prices again…There was a confused look on his face. His meals were always served to him back at the ShinRa Mansion. He never had a choice of what he wanted either…. ”Uh….I’ll have uh….” Why was this so hard for him? His hand was now trembling. He wanted to crawl back into his cell that Hojo kept him in now.
He looked back up at Tifa then and tried to smile…. ”It’s a difficult choice for me….I’ve never had to choose for this…” He said that really low so no one would hear his voice but only so Tifa could hear him…He was some what taking a back and embarrassed…He would not have enough money for any thing. ”This was a mistake….I…I can’t pay…” He finally confessed….But giving her general happy attitude….She would hopefully understand him….And let him pay for his meal another way….Hopefully. He laid the menu down then and started to walk off….But he was wanting some thing to eat so badly…And all the meals smelled so delicious….

There was something about him that was different. Tifa could tell from the moment he held up the menu that he wasn't like other costumers that always walked in to her bar. This one seemed like he never ordered before. and the look he gave her told her there was more to him.
If Tifa had known he was from Shinra, or that he was a former soldier, she would have never allowed him into her bar. She just didn't trust anyone from that place except for some Turks but she had a reason for that. But looking at the new costumer Tifa could tell that he was starving. She couldn't let him or anyone walk out of the bar like that.
"Hey wait...." She said reaching to grab his arm gently to stop him. "Its alright.... we will worry about that later...." She reached for the menu and handed it back to him. "Order anything you want.... anything at all and don't worry about the payment...." She replied with a smile as she led him back to his table.

"Hey wait...." Alex stopped as he felt her grab his hand…"Its alright.... we will worry about that later...." "Order anything you want.... anything at all and don't worry about the payment...." She was so nice. ”I thank you for your kindness….” He began as he turned back around to look at her….”Why don’t you just bring me some thing…One of your specials…” Alex looked over at the customer that was starring at him with a weird face on….Alex just glared at the customer and the customer took his gaze away from Alex….Alex was trying hard to maintain his temper. As he returned back to the bar and sat back down….He sighed as he pushed the menu away from him….As she brought him some water….It was actually clean water too….And had ice cubs….
Alex looked at the glass for a minute and then took a drink…it was as though all his insides were all waking up from a domanant sleep….He felt refreshed and took another drink….It was really refreshing….He never took any thing for granted…Even with the meals he had back at the Mansion…Alex had no idea that this girl was against ShinRa….Even if he did, he probably would even try and harm her…Unless he was ordered to….That was his problem…For the first time ever he was able to make his own decsions….He was lost and confused and needed some one help….Maybe this girl would that one that could help him….”By the way, my name’s Alex what’s yours?”

"Hm one of our specialties... hm alright I think I know just a thing" Tifa replied and left to prepare the meal once she was sure he wouldn't try to leave again. She glanced back to see him still waiting at the table and smiled before disappearing into the kitchen. It took her a few minutes to prepare the meal she chose for him extra large cheese burger with frieze.
Tifa smiled in satisfaction it took her less than she anticipated to prepare the order. a smile curved on her lips as she took the plate and reappeared in the bar. "Here you go.... hope you like it...." she added with a smile handing him his order. "I am Tifa Lockhart.... I own this bar... Seventh Haven...." She paused for a moment before finally deciding to ask. "I haven't seen you here before Alex..... are you knew here?" Tifa asked curious to know remembering that some of her costumers did come from other countries and some even from different worlds.

Alex took the sorta warm plate and pulled it closer towards him and handed his fork with a sorta dinner fashion…Yeah, Alex was taught every thing from Hojo. Even how to eat at a formal dinner….But Alex had no idea that he needed to not be so formal at a bar…And at the fries with his fork….It tasted so good! So much better than what he had at the masion….
”Um, because I am new aroud here….You run this place? That’s great. I just, been in the dark too long then to know any thing or any one in my home town any more…I just arrived here today….Everything is so new to me….”
He tried his best to not tell her where he was all this time. Didn’t think that some one like her would accompany a formal ShinRa Soldier….So he would not tell her much about his past. She seemed nice and all but would she allow him to stay if she knew who he really was? Probably not….

Tifa laughed as she stood there watching Alex eat. Why was he being so formal and in a bar with frieze and burger? She smiled sitting down for a bit seeing as none of the other costumers needed her service. She smiled again and shook her head at Alex. "No need to be so formal in a bar especially with burgers and frieze"
She paused for a moment to listen to his words carefully. So he has always been in the dark? That explained why he acted the way he did but still Tifa had a feeling that he was keeping something from her. She sighed though shaking her head maybe it was her imagination, Alex seemed nice and she really wanted to help him seeing that he needed that. "Do you have a place to stay....?" she asked before glancing up at the guest rooms then back to Alex.

"No need to be so formal in a bar especially with burgers and frieze" Alex looked up as she said that and then he just placed the fork down and took the burger in both hands and bit right into it…With some of the juices dripping on the plate….He take a napkin and wipe his mouth though…That was just some thing he couldn’t stand….And drank more water…
During the whole time though, he thought she was starring at him….But he didn’t say any thing as he ate….The food was really delicious….He couldn’t help it….They really did not know how to make burgers at the mansion….
"Do you have a place to stay....?" He then looked over at her…And wiped his mouth again….”Uh…You just gave me a hot plate and now a place to lay my head….? How am I ever going to repay you? Tifa….You don’t have to do this for me…” He was being honest with her to. She didn’t have to do this for some one like him….

Tifa shook her head once he asked for a way to repay her. She didn't need him to repay her really. Just the thought of helping someone in need gave her the satisfaction she needed, that for her was enough. She smiled once after folding her hands as she sat down on a chair next to Alex.
"Hey...." She replied to get his attention and her smile brightened even more. Tifa sensed something strange about Alex, it was as if he was dangerous or something.... She was worried about trusting him, about helping him, but she couldn't let him walk out without doing something.
She paused and finally made up her mind to lend him a hand. "What kind of person would I be if I just let someone walk out without at least trying to help if I can...... I don't need you to pay me for anything.... not the meal or the room..... your gratitude would be more than enough...."

Alex could sense that she felt uneasy around him. But she was still here talking to him. That said a lot about her. She was obviously not scared to talk to him. He liked her. But maybe as a friend….He could not see himself as having a girl anyway. But then Alex got a glimpse of her engagement ring…So she had a guy already. That was his luck….But she was probably deeply in love with the guy to agree with marriage with this guy….Who ever he was….
”I…I just met you….So, I wouldn’t have known what you would have done….But if all you need is my gratitude then I can provide that.”
Alex finished his meal then….And wiped his face with his napkin….
”So, who is the lucky guy?” He looked down at her ring….And just thought that a different conversation would change her sense about him….He had to be careful around others….so not to loose his temper…

She asked before smiling yet again. She turned to glance at the other customers though making sure none needed her before her attention returned to Alex.
Tifa blushed slightly and smiled at the thought of Cloud. She didn't notice Alex saw her ring. "Oh.... he is my childhood friend..... he just proposed a few days ago.... I was surprised that he did never really saw that coming.... but I am glad that he did...."

Nightmares become real...
Love remains the same....
But soon everything will disappear....
All because of me....
Cloud just returned home to the bar to walk in and see that the place was still pretty busy. He was glad at the bars out come on business…Woud help with his and Tifa’s wedding. But he saw Tifa talking to some guy and decided not to bother her. He was tired any way….And needed a good long shower after a hard day of work….But he knew he wanted to see her. So he walked right over as some customers said his name and said hi to him….As he raised his hand up and said hi back to the regulars….It would be closing time soon. So Cloud would be able to really relax….Hopefully…. ”Hey, Tifa. Hard day too?” He asked as he walked over and placed a kiss on her lips then….And noticed Alex….But there was some thing oddly familiar with him…Cloud just looked down and looked back at Tifa and placed a hand on her cheek then… ”No one give you trouble?” Cloud was not in the mood to help a house guest…Tifa would see that. But, he wanted to see her. And make sure that she was alright….But with Alex, it was some thing…Some thing strange…Cloud could sense things about people and if they were either good or bad…But he tried his best to over look it…As he let go of Tifa then and walked behind the bar and grabbed a beer out of the fridge….And opened it up and took a swallow…It was refreshing and good to be home…. Before, Cloud would never charish some thing like this…But he did….He always would now. There was nothing in his life he did not charish….And would try and help those that needed it….So that was when he looked over at Alex and smiled….And reached out his hand to the red headed guy….That sorta reminded him of a Turk he knew….. ”I’m Cloud….Welcome to 7Th Heaven….”((Gonna post Alex in a bit^^))

Child hood friend… That was good. Alex never had one. He was all alone in his child hood years…She surely has been more blessed than he has ever been….Almost everything in his life has been destroyed….
Except his heart….That was the only thing he had that he could say he was still living on this earth…If not for that, he would be dead….And thank heaven that Hojo didn’t target his heart….Other wise he would not have the strength to break out of the mansion as he did…..Then another person entered the bar…A familiar face to Alex actually….It was Cloud Strife….But the only way he knew Cloud was through Cloud’s file at the mansion….So this was the man that busted out of the mansion a few years ago…..”Hey, Tifa. Hard day too?” ”No one give you trouble?” ”I’m Cloud….Welcome to 7Th Heaven….”
Alex then took Cloud’s hand in his and shook it just to be polite….So this was the one that killed the greatest threat of all time….? Sephiroth…Cloud was friends with Zack Fair….Alex sorta remembered Zack before he was killed….But it’s been a while….But still Alex was not going to exploit any thing about himself unless he knew for sure that he could trust these people…..
”Alex Webster…Nice to meet you….”

Tifa was about to head up the stairs to prepare a room for Alex when she saw Cloud walk into the bar, and a smile spread on her lips. "Cloud...." She nodded at his question and her cheeks flushed red with blush once her kissed her. "Not in front of everyone Cloud...." She whispered with her blush darkening.
She smiled shaking her head at his question. Tifa knew Cloud was protective over the ones he cherished, but there was no need to worry really seeing as she could handle what happens at the bar like she always has. After all this was the main reason why she learned martial arts, so she wouldn't be rendered helpless at times she needed to fight.
"Everything is fine.... and you know I can handle things here right?"She asked tilting her head before glancing back at Alex once Cloud left to get a beer. "That's the one I was telling you about....." She added before Cloud returned to introduce himself and she smiled at the two.
