Alex nodded....and smiled at her....After she and Cloud left his guest room....He walked over to the window. And looked out side....It was still night time. And he had not gotten any sleep....He was more worried about Cloud. Would he be okay what ever was wrong with him? Why didn't Cloud want to tell him what was wrong? Was it that bad?
Alex was all alone. He was grateful that Tifa still didn't turn him out in to the street. Even after the Shin-Ra Soldiers came....But thank heaven that Cloud was able to convince those guys to go else where....And a fight had not broke out. Still there had to be some thing he could to help Tifa....She was the first one to reach out to him in years. Since his....girl friend....Tifa was nice had to admit that to himself...
And she was caring of others he could really see that....But when he found out about Cloud being the only guy in her life, he felt sorta jealous...Since she reminded him of his girl friend so much....But now that his girl friend was dead, there was no one to confide in....Tifa was busy with Cloud and he didn't wanna bother them....So for now all he could do was lay down and try and get some sleep...And hope tomorrow would be better.... |

Was he blaming himself now thinking he was bad for not saying anything to Alex. It tore her apart to see Cloud like this and as his tears fell so did hers. "Cloud...." Tifa whispered his name as she wiped away his tears before doing the same to hers.
"No.... how can you think that your the bad guy..... its not your fault none of this is.... I understand and I am sure Alex does too.... you need time that's all...." She said holding both his hands in hers as she gazed into his eyes. Then his question came. She paused looking down and nodded at his question..... "if thats what you want then yes.... I won't leave...."

Tifa smiled at Cloud taking his hand in hers to assure him she wasn't about to leave him. A faint smile then spread across her lips as she helped Cloud lay down on his bed. This wasn't the first time this happened so Tifa knew exactly what to do. "Its okay" She whispered back once she noticed his shoes were still on. "let me take them off...." She added slowly letting go of his hands to take off one then the next.
She placed his shoes on the flood next to the bed before siting down next to Cloud. "I am here..... your not alone...."
Tifa said to assure him again as she gently placed her hand on his shoulder and laid there beside him. Her arms rested around him holding him close before she too fell asleep.

Tifa felt his touch on her cheek, she smiled slowly opening her eyes to gaze into his mako blue ones. "Morning..... did you sleep well?" She asked turning to fully face him. Noticing how calm and relax he was Tifa's could tell he felt a lot better, and that calmed her down as well. Her hand then moved on its own to brush her thumb on his cheeks, she did so without noticing her action till the contact.
"I uh...." Tifa's cheeks flushed bright red once realization struck her. For the first time they shared the same bed, though nothing happened she still blushes from the idea. "Your hungry right... better get breakfast ready......" She said wanting to leave the room before Cloud noticed her blush.

Another day has come....
Alex woke up as the sun blinded his eyes a bit as he opened them. He had forgot he was not inside that awful mansion...He was used to sleeping in caves and such other dark places where the sun could not reach his eyes....But here he was...A brand new person. Ready to live his life the way he wanted for a change. This was indeed a new chance for him....
He got out of his bed and looked out the window after he opened the curtains...And smiled....The streets below him were very busy and alive...People walking around and getting to places they needed to be while some were riding in vehicles....to some this was just another day....But to Alex it was so much....Tifa was so nice to him....
He tried to think of a way to repay her. Even Cloud had helped him out when he knew Cloud could of just turned away.....Alex walked out of his room and down stairs after he got dressed....No one was up yet? So he decided to wait for them....He didn't even know how to work the TV.....So he just left it alone...And waited at the bar for either Cloud or Tifa to come down..... |

Tifa's blush turned to a darker shade of red when that complement came. Was he doing this on purpose, teasing her knowing that she was already blushing? She tried to hide her flushed cheeks and find a reply to his words, but all she could manage was a soft whisper "thanks......" was all that came out before turning to the door.
The second she was about to take another step to leave, she was pulled back into bed by Cloud's arm grabbing firmly, and gently onto hers. "Cloud...." She fell back on the bed, and was pulled towards him till their eyes met. "but... uh aren't you hungry......?" She asked hoping her did not notice her blush or the fact she was making excuses to hide it.

Nightmares become real...
Love remains the same....
But soon everything will disappear....
All because of me....
"Thanks......" "Cloud...." "but... uh aren't you hungry......?" Cloud smiled as he let go of her then....
"Okay. You win....I'm a bit hungry......Go on make breakfast I'll be down in a minute....." Cloud kissed her cheek. He noticed her blushing and that she was probably wanting to escape to hide it from him. He thought it was cute in a way though. She didn't have to hide. But he would not stop her....He would let her leave if she wanted.
He would just take a shower or some thing....He completely forgot about Alex staying with them the night before. Since Tifa stayed with him, Cloud felt much much better. And for once had no night mares last night. He actually slept great.....
((Go on and post I'll post Alex after Tifa goes down stairs^^))

Tifa knew Cloud noticed her blush, how could he not when he pulled her close. It was obvious but she was glad didn't say anything or teased her about it. "Alright...... don't take too long I am making your favorite today....." She replied letting go of his hands got up and walked out the room.
It was still early so Tifa didn't really expect expect Alex to be up yet, but as she walked down the stairs she was surprised to see that she was mistaken. "Alex.... what are you doing up so early?" She asked with a smile as she made her way into the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast.

"Alex.... what are you doing up so early?" Alex smiled as he saw....Man she was beautiful....Even in the morning....But he had to so hide his true for her from Cloud....That would so go down badly if Cloud found out.....
"I just couldn't sleep....I was not used to the bed...I used to just sleep in a cold cell back at that mansion and while I was on the run....Just in caves and shelters..." He admitted....
"Alex....Morning. Want some coffee?" Alex stood, and smiled at Cloud and tried to act positive....."Yeah...Coffee would be great...." He saw Cloud go over and fix two cups of coffee....."Although I'm not cray about the plain black....I'd like some cream and sugar....please...." Cloud smiled and did that for him....As the two men walked over to the bar and sat down they started to begin a conversation....

Hearing Alex's reply actually made Tifa feel sorry for him. He seemed so down, something she could not stand. She wanted to help, she wanted Alex to smile and enjoy life again. Now that she knew his story Tifa knew how dangerous it was to keep someone on thee run hidden from Shinra.
She had no idea what would happen when the truth came out but either way she was going to do all she could to help as she always did. "A cell.... then a bed and a nice room should be good thing right.... you can stay here as long as you want and if there is anything you want anything at all just let me know okay...." She relied smiling at the new friend she made then at Cloud as he came down.
"Took you long enough.... the food is ready...." She said to both still smiling as always. Tifa set the places for three and sat down waiting for the two to join her.
