What was this? Geoff was being Nice to Ebony? Oh he was evil. Pure evil. Josh just had to ignore anything that might distract his attention, it didnt seem Geoff worried all that much of being distracted, he was already by Ebony, talking to her and making himself an open target on purpose...giving Josh the first shot. So Josh took advantage of this, he flipped his gunblade out and let the blade aim towards the ground as he held it at his side. He looked at Geoff while he was more or less distracted. He held up the blade and it flipped under, revealing double barrels for bullets to shoot out of, he aimed and clicked. "You want memorable....you got it." Josh set letting the bullet fly into Geoff's left shoulder. That was his first shot. "I have nothing to prove." Josh grumbled under his breath as he looked at Ebony for reassurance, was this really the right thing to do?

Ebony's eyes narrowed as Geoff kept on sweettalking her. If Josh didn't hurry up with his attack, she would most likely hit Geoff herself. But she held back. Geoff was aonly interested in the death of Josh at the moment, and not hers, yet. Of course, if Josh was killed, or just hopfully seriously injured to the point where he couldn't fight, Ebony would jump in immediately. Just like she did back then when she had to save him from a PSICOM bird-beast-thing.
As Geoff stretched his arms out, a pistol in each hand, Ebony was just about done with his attitude and almost took the first shot until she noticed Josh move. She clamed down slightly, and braced herself once more waiting for Geoff's reaction. She nodded towards Josh once he looked at her, signaling her silent approval.
The fight had begun.

Geoff was asking for it, and he got it. The first shot was fired and it ended up ripping through Geoff's left shoulder. It sure hurt but Geoff was used to the occasional bullet wound or stab wound when on a mission for his...so called job. An Assassin, that was hi job, typical. Anyways back to the fight. Geoff was shot, woo. He took that as commencing the fight. So he aimed both guns at Josh and let the bullets fly, each hand shooting off several fires until a cloud of smoke was where Josh was last standing...he waited for the smoke to clear before glancing at Ebony. "Say...if he doesn't make it out of here alive....you available then?"

Josh would be expecting a full blown attack from Geoff now. He let the blade of his weapon extend back into sword form as the bullets fired, a few good swipes of his gunblade and the bullets clanked against the metal of the blade, keeping the bullets from hitting Josh himself, although one happened to hit him in the leg, but that could easilly be healed. Josh knew a little magic, he had the ability to cure and to summon lightning/thunder. Whent he fire ceased Josh quickled healed himself before anyone could see him. He leaned the tip of his blade against the ground and put most of his weight against the gunblade, looking quite unamused as a smirky smile stretched across his face. His green eyes dancing with amusment just to see Geoff's reaction.
Josh wasn't hurt at all, that was surprising. He kept smiling before Geoff made that comment, but josh continued to smile, a more forced smile now. He twirled his gunblade up before resting it against his shoulder. "I think that offer won't ever happen...Seeing as Im alive, well, and completely unharmed." Josh said almost in a friendly tone.

Ebony looked like she was about to throw-up after Geoff's little pick-up line. Did he really just...? The Source inside her flared up and she could feel the heat start to travel down her right arm. Small black embers started to dance around her hand feeding off the anger and malice that was directed in Geoff's direction.
"Not in a million years."
Ebony calmed down slightly when she saw that Josh was okay for the moment. The embers still remained by her hand, though, but they weren't as wild as they had been only a few seconds ago.

Geoff chuckled at Ebony's response, she wasn't too happy. Geoff could tell by her tone and what not, it simply amused him how irritated she was. "How about a million and one?" He challenged before looking back at Josh, widening his eyes a bit as he did so seeing the white haired soldier still up and standing...not a bullet hole anywhere! So. Thats how it was going to be. Well in Geoff's world, no one ever played fair. Geoff grinned and looked around him before snapping his gloved fingers and disappearing. Oh the powers of teleportation. He telelported a little ways away, out of view, but not out of hearing range. "You're making this much more difficult than this has to be....Just give up Delatorr...and you and your little girlfriend can skip off unharmed...its a simple choice you see..." His voice seemed to echo from where he was standing, which was in a tall tree just on the outskirts of the open area Josh and Ebony were in. "Think about it....What would you rather have...that boring world of yours....or Ebony....so difficult to choose eh?"

Even if Geoff's statements were true...he and Ebony remaining unharmed at the sacrifice of Delatorr...Josh just couldn't do it. That, and he didn't buy Geoff's statement to begin with. So when Geoff just disappeared Josh hurried over to Ebony's side. "Keep your magic ready" He whispered clutching his gunblade and looking away from her, scanning the area for any sign of Geoff, while his taunting voice could be heard...he couldn't be seen. That posed a problem. "He's weak against magic...if he could just come out....we could ambush him with it...I have a few tricks up my sleeve." Josh smirked a smile as he continued to talk rather softly, so Geoff wouldn't hear. "So my secret weapon...how much damage do you think you can throw out before he cries?" Josh even chuckled, not that the situation was funny, but the mental image he came up with in his head...was.

"How about never," Ebony spat back at Geoff. She was quickly getting tired and aggravated over him. She glanced over at Josh as he moved over to her after Geoff had "disappeared."
"I always have my magic ready."
After her statement, EBony could feel another falre up come from the Source. It was responding to the hate and malice that was growing quickly against Geoff. She didn't care to hide it.
"Magic, eh? Hm..."
Ebony sorted through her little magic database that was stored in ehr mind. She would most likley need a lot of attacks and some shields that she actually knew. She grinned slyly.
"Oh, I'll make him do more than cry. I want him begging for mercy when I'm done with him."

Geoff chuckled from where he was at Ebony. "Fine...If that's how you want it." He said referring to her 'Never' statement. "No hard feelings...I've got my eyes on someone else anyway." He chuckled, hopefully that would piss Josh off to move away from Ebony. He saw the two talking to eachother but he just couldn't pick out what they were saying, when the smiles on their faces appeared, he figured it was either stupid or bad for him. He grumbled a bit as he heard Ebony say something about making Geoff cry and beg for mercy. Oh the statement made him laugh as he teleported behind Ebony and in a very very short time he had wrapped his arm around her neck from behind, and another one around her arm pinning it to her waist where he had his steel grip pinned.
"Beg for Mercy eh? I'd like to see that." In each hand he still had the twin 400 magnum guns so maybe this would keep josh from making any sudden movements. With a sigh Geoff looked at Josh. "I'll ask one more time...and nicely...Can I please have Delatorr? And ill let you and your bonnie lass here go...Free as a bird unharmed." His offer was quite nice to someone who couldn't help it. But Josh then again...was stubborn...as the rest of the Raines family was.

Josh chuckled a bit at Ebony. "If I knew you were going to do that, I would've gone to get a camera." He said before Geoff once again talked. Couldn't he just shut up and go on with it? or go away? This was starting to annoy Josh. So he sighed and rolled his eyes. "This guy never gives up." He mumbled before Geoff did appear and did get Ebony from behind. Well, that was new. Taking hostages. Wow did Geoff change. "Geoff...let her go. She isn't apart of this." He said very unamused and uninterested in Ebony getting hurt. A small smirk crossed his face as he held out his hand and a bolt of lightning hit Geoff. Magic. "Thundaga." He said before Another few bolts shot down hitting Geoff and not Ebony. Hopefully that got Geoff to let Ebony go, it was magic, and this was the start of the magic ambush Josh talked about. "Make him Cry Ebony!" He chuckled.

Ebony took a sharp intake of breath when she felt Geoff wrap his arms around her, pinning her, from behind. She felt another flare up inside her, this one bigger than the others. She was able to contain the loose magic inside her, but she didn't know if she would be able to hold it in next time, though she didn't plan on it anyway. In fact, she was bout to strike Geoff with her free arm, but Josh attacked with a Thundaga. It could've been better, but Ebony certainly wasn't complaining. She quickly broke away from Geoff and turned around, facing Geoff, an X glowing on her ungloved hand.
"You might want to stay back, JOsh. Who knows what you might be in the crossfire of? Abyss! Black Shot!"
Abyss bounded out of his pentagram straight for Geoff, heading for his jugular. Small black pentagrams appeared around both Ebony and Geoff, black bullets shooting out of each and every single one of them, homing in on their one true target, Geoff Cross.

Geoff wasn't expecting this. First he was shocked away by the Thundaga magic Josh used. Since when could Josh do magic? Oh well it wasn't that bad. Geoff stumbled back and had released Ebony, just as Josh had told her to make Geoff cry. Was he crazy in the head or something? Geoff would never cry. He was about to comment before the magic hit him...her magic...dark magic...Painful and utterly unstoppable. Abyss scared Geoff, that was simple. Geoff ducked so he wouldn't get this throat ripped out.
This was turning bad. For Geoff at least. Geoff was thinking about retreating, which was a smart move for now. He teleported out of the area, only to where Josh was and he was out of the line of fire, for the few seconds he had. "This isn't fair! This isn't her fight!" Geoff growled. "Next time I find you...she better not be around or I'll take her out first. Pernamently." And Geoff teleported away again...

Geoff's Face. Priceless. Josh almost busted a vein he was laughing so hard at the butt kicking Ebony was dishing up against Geoff. And Geoff's plea for it 'not being fair' made him only laugh harder. Once Geoff had disappeared, after his pitiful threat, Josh fell to one knee trying to gain any bit of breath he could from his laugh attack. "Ebony...My god..." He breathed in heavilly before chuckling a bit. "I havent laughed that hard in...who knows how long..." He finally got back up and stood straight with a grin on his face as he looked at Ebony before gripping her into a hug. "You've made my day..." He chuckled a bit before letting her go and looking at her. "You are the best secret weapon a guy could ask for..."
(hes gonna say the L word soon hehe)

Ebony smirked as Geoff retreated off like a coward. She called off the Black Shot spell, and Abyss bounded back into her laughing along with Josh. It had actually felt nice to get rid of all that pent-up energy that was building up inside, and it was even better with Geoff's reaction. The Source had calmed down now, and Ebony was sure that she would be able to take on Geoff the next time they saw him, no matter how many times he would threaten to kill her. She had gotten plenty already.
She turned back towards Josh who was still trying to get over his little laughing fit he was having earlier. She was a bit surprised when he stood up and hugged her, but knowing Josh as he was, she just shrugged and returned the embrace.
"Glad I could finally be of some assistance."

Josh had finally calmed down a bit from his laughter enough to be a little serious now. "Oh you could've jumped in at any time. I wouldn't have minded watching him retreat a little sooner..." He shrugged a bit with a grin. "You still up for some food? I know im starved...still." He chuckled releasing Ebony from the hug and stepping back a little bit. "I really am sorry about that though...i think i just added you to Geoff's hit list...right behind Repa and myself..." He looked down and off to the side. Now her life was in danger, not that she couldn't take care of herself, but what would happen once Josh left again? Would Geoff follow him? or stay behind and try to get his revenge on the...secret weapon and destroy Josh that way?
Either plan seemed like one Geoff would do. "Ebony...I want you to be careful...Now that Geoff knows you're with me...he'll target you im sure...and again im really sorry about that." He sighed, his smile completely faded as reality hit him. This was his fault. Ebony was in danger and if something happened to her...Josh could only blame himself.
(decided to take geoff out for a lil bit)
