There was no more words needed at that moment....Just to fight her! And that he did! He saw her charge at him....And when she got close enough, he came back at her with a serious of punches and kicks so quick just as he did Reno a few months ago! He was not going to feel sorry for beating a woman up....When he saw the blood she wiped away made his eye light up!

Tifa grunted as she fell from the pain. It was just like she thought. This fight wouldn't end in her favor, but despite knowing that Tifa never gave up or even left room for that thought in her mind. She had no other choice but to fight to save those costumers that had no reason to die especially not in her bar. She couldn't hold on to the hope of Cloud coming either, after all he left her and abandoned everything again, and the promise Tifa wasn't sure if it meant anything to Cloud now.
She grunted as a kick came sending her straight at the wall. but she didn't scream not wanting to give the remnant that satisfaction. Getting to her feet again Tifa ignored the pain again and charged with a punch. She managed to avoid his kick with a back flip before trying to send a kick of her own to his chest.

Cloud was making it! He was closer now to the bar! He was trying his best as he sped the bike one more notch! And rounded a sharp corner! There he saw the bar! He stopped though....As he saw some thing unusual....There looked to be a body laying there at the entrance....Tifa...? No...It was not her....Must have been a customer...Cloud got off his bike and walked right into the bar he did not know what he was going to find....Until it hit him! Several bullets hit his gut! Not expecting that he dropped his sword at once on the floor and the customers literally screamed in horror at what happened to him! "Tifa....?" Cloud asked weakly as he fell finally on the floor......
((Lemme post Yazoo^^ And Yazoo will change Cloud to a Li'Cie^^))

Before he knew it she came back to him with a hard kick in the chest! But it was enough to get to Cloud! And he jumped up instantly and twirled his Velvet Nightmare Gun and pulled the trigger right on to Cloud! Pumping him hard with bullets! The same grin that Sephiroth would give Cloud, every time he was beating Cloud up! Yeah Yazoo was most definitely Sephiroth's remnant.....As soon as he pumped Cloud with bullets and saw him fall Yazoo grabbed Cloud by the collar! And by some mean of magic the two men were gone!!

Before he knew it he was gone from Tifa....As he landed hard in a stone cold floor! "What's going on? Where....Where am I?" "You are on the world of Cocoon Strife! And you have been one of the few chosen to become a L'Cie!" "Bring him forward!!" Yazoo took a hold of Cloud and did as the Fal'Cie ordered! It was like a rush of hot water hitting him that instant! Light surged all over his body! What was happening to him?! "What?!!!" "Silence heathen!!" The Fal'Cie shouted at Cloud! And Yazoo to was far from this happening to Cloud....Cloud felt a sting on his upper left wrist! He grabbed his wrist at once and screamed out in pain! With all the lightning going around him and the wind picking up, Cloud was forced on his knees!! Not to mention the bullets that were pumped into him earlier! What Cloud didn't know was that the Fal'Cie was creating an unique mark on his wrist to represent him as a L'Cie! Then the Fa'Cie sneaked into Cloud's mind and told him his focus....Cloud was literally crying right now.....All Yazoo was doing was waiting for this to be over....And soon it was all over! The wind and the lightning stopped....By this time Cloud was completely unconsciousness at this moment....Yazoo rushed over and grabbed a hold of Cloud......And in a heart beat returned back to Gaia....To the bar.....

Yazoo threw Cloud on the floor in the bar! By this time though, the customers were all gone...."There's your boy friend you piece of garbage!" He said so brutal at Tifa and then he disappeared again! Leaving Cloud there to either live or die.......

Tifa managed to hold up against this long against the remnant. She was sure he wasn't fighting to kill her, not like the other brother did. She didn't give much to the thought thought, but if he was holding back then maybe she could use that to her advantage. 'Maybe if I gather my strength I can finish this fight and win' She planned everything and prepared to test her stratigy when Cloud came bursting through the door.
Tifa's eyes widened in disbelieve was he really there, why did he come back? But before she could get the chance to ask or even calm down he was shot from the back. "CLOUD" She should have known the remnants wouldn't play fair after all that was how the last brother defeated her. They all were remnant's of Sephiroth so she expected this much at least.
She got to her feat and ran instantly to Cloud's side but before she could get to him he disappeared without a trace. Tifa's eyes widened in fear for his life. 'What just happened, and what does that remnant want with Cloud' Her mind raced trying to find an answer once that didn't involve seeing Cloud die. Tears filled her eyes threatening to fall down but she held them in now wasn't the time.
Tifa ignored the pain she felt and turned around at the costumers who still trembled in fear even thought the intruder was no where to be found. She sighed gathering her strength before walking towards them. "You better leave..... who knows if he might be back....... I don't want anyone else to die....." "What about you?" came a question from one of the costumers standing behind her.
Tifa managed turn her head to glance at him. "I am staying here....." She replied with a firm tone. The costumer looked like he was about to object but after a moment he simply nodded. She waited till all the costumers left the bar before closing in and turned to wait and hope that Cloud would be back there alive.
Minutes later the bar was surrounded by blinding light. Tifa closed and shielded her eyes with her arms till it faded after a few seconds. Then she heard that voice again his voice the very one that attacked her. Her eyes shot open as she gazed at the one in front of her and then her eyes caught the sight of Cloud. "CLOUD" She called his name out hoping that he was still alive. "Cloud....." She called again before dropping by his side and to her relief the remnant left.

"CLOUD" "Cloud....." Aerith came in the nick of time. Being the one with healing powers she can heal Cloud easily..."Tifa.....I can help him....." This would be the first time that Tifa would see her back and alive....Cloud already knew she was back. But Tifa did not...Aerith bent down to Cloud then and healed all his wounds up for him....She placed a hand on Cloud's fore head....And smiled...."We need to get him to his bed room....Can you help me Tifa...? All danger is gone for now. You're safe again....And Tifa....He kept his promise....Even though I told him not to come back....So please don't be mad at him...."

"Aeirith......" Tifa's eyes widened as if trying to figure out if what she saw was real or just her imagination. She saw her friend die by Sephiroth's sword and yet she was standing there in front of her as if the nightmare never happened. Tifa starred at her speechless for a while unable to respond or knew what to say. It was as if she just saw a ghost and it was kind of the same.
She shook her head to bring herself back to reality and blinked a few times as if trying to open her eyes to see the truth, but every time her eyelid opened she saw Aerith still there tending to Cloud's wound. "Uh.... um...." she uttered not knowing what to say really. She slowly lifted one hand and slightly poked Aerith. 'She is real' Tifa concluded finally. "I am sorry I...... you back and your alive..... but how did you know I was in trouble?"
She nodded and helped carry Cloud up to his room before laying him gently down on the bed and turned to her friend. "He..... he stopped by your church didn't he......?" Tifa asked lowering her head and hoped Cloud hasn't revealed what Tifa asked him the earlier day.

Aerith was covering Cloud up as he was still asleep....She saw his brand on his left arm....And said a silent prayer in her mind for him to have the strength and courage to get ready for what was now laid out in front of him.....
"I am sorry I...... you back and your alive..... but how did you know I was in trouble?"
"He..... he stopped by your church didn't he......?"
Aerith stopped doing what she was doing then as she finished brushing Cloud's bangs back...He was really out of it....And would be for a while....She then turned to Tifa and gave her friend a smile.....
"He did stop by....But he found me.....I didn't find him...Tifa....There's some thing you need to know....How I knew you were in trouble....."

Tifa sensed this the moment Aerith walked into Seventh Haven. There was something important she didn't know of. She paused for a moment glancing back at Cloud as he slept soundly in his bed. "How long do you think it will take him to recover..... and Aerith you said something about not being made.... something about him keeping a promise what did you mean?" Tifa was indeed lost her mind still couldn't proses all that has happened.
"Aerith.... he found you......" She pauses looking down as doubt filled her heart, but she shook her head slightly to regain control not wanting to drift into her own thoughts. She turned to Aerith and waited without responding to her question. She waited silently for a few seconds and when a reply didn't come she found the strength to ask. "What is it that so important....... how did you know I was in trouble or that I needed help....?"

Aerith nodded at that.....She with right...Cloud found her...She knew he was in her church....But he was looking for some kind of help....And called out to her....She was there...."Yes Tifa....He found me. Because he was looking for an answer to a question that was inside his own mind....You might know what that question is...But I won't say it to you...."

"I was brought back for a reason Tifa.....To protect you & Cloud. Mostly Cloud. He's become a l'cie....A brand has been made on him....Once you receive that mark, you have no choice but to do what the Fal'Cie says....I know you don't understand Tifa...But Yazoo was brought back as well....We tried to stop him from crossing the Life Stream but we were too late...Meaning me and Zack...And Zack will be a long soon too....But my task is not Zack...It's Cloud....I was brought back to keep him alive until he completes his focus....Which is what the Fal'Cie gives every l'cie....They live on a world known as Cocoon....And the Fal'Cie came up with the idea that they should take out every other world as well....With a few l'cie picked as their evil doers....Tifa when he wakes up do all you can to keep him here....He will know what has happened too...And don't get mad at him...If he gets to emotional...The brand will make him sick....And make his time speed up....He has a year to complete his focus....If he completes it....He will become a crystal....My guess he will remain in that crystal form for a while and then when the deed is done he will come back..." Aerith stopped right there....She was scared to tell her more....That when he did come back, that she, Tifa will be gone.....

Tifa was surprised that Aerith knew about that promise, the one they made when they were kids. She didn't think Cloud would tell anyone about it 'What does this mean.....?' She thought confused. Tifa also thought Cloud would have forgotten about that promise by now. It has been so long ago and the only reason she asked him to be her hero was because she wanted to hint that she liked him more than a friend but it didn't work....
She looked down after her reply. Everything now conferment her suspensions. Cloud didn't really love her, and now that Aerith was back would he care about her? Tifa looked down the moment she found out that Aerith knew of the question she asked Cloud earlier. Tears filled her eyes but she fought to stop them from falling as she listened to her friend explain.
Tifa never lifted her head not once as Aerith explained everything. Everything her friend said was new to her but slowly she managed to understand and nodded every few seconds to show that she was following. At the end Aerith stopped but Tifa managed to put the peaces together. "Let me guess.... I will be dead by then......" with that reply she finally lifted her gaze to Aerith's eyes, her eyes still filled with the tears she fought so hard to control. 'I guess we were never meant to be......' She thought.

Aerith did not want to smile....But Tifa had been smart enough to figure this one out....And Aerith nodded as her head was lowered now...she just could not look her best friend in her eyes right now. She knew how Tifa was feeling it was crushing her.
"I'm sorry Tifa....I know what he means to you. Remember I'm not exactly your ordinary girl....I can read your feelings like a book....Please...Don't give up on him just yet...." Aerith then walked up to her friend and placed a hand on Tifa's shoulder....
"We all know who Cloud will choose to be with...You...I'm sure he might have already expressed his true feelings for you too....Why else was he be there in my church....He just wants a friend.....And you are the friend he needs....He will answer your question....Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow....But I know Cloud as well as you do....He will answer it....Give him time....Don't be mad at me....My heart belongs with Zack.." Aerith hoped that Tifa was now really listening to her....Cause Aerith did not want to loose a friend over a boy.....

Tifa saw the nod and knew her guess was right. She sighed heavily before glancing down again. Silence filled the room but only for a minute before Aerith spoke again. Tifa's eyes though remained focused on the floor even when her friend placed a hand on her shoulder she said nothing merely listened. "Whats the point..... we can never be together even the faiths are against us, besides he doesn't love me in the way you think he does...." Her eyes finally found their way back up to meet her friend's gaze.
"He left before he could answer my question..... if he really meant what he said when he shared his feelings then it should have been easy to answer that question..... maybe its just time to move on with my life..... don't worry Aerith I am not angry at you or Cloud I will always be there for him and you..... but if you know how I feel then you could see the pain ripping at my heart..... I can't do this...... keep waiting I don't have the strength to bear the pain." Her teas escaped her grip as she couldn't hold them in any longer.

Aerith knew her pain in her heart. But she did not want to expose that to Tifa....She knew Tifa would burst into tears. And Aerith knew her friend hated to cry.....That was when Aerith walked over to Tifa and hugged her friend.....
"That's why I didn't tell you I knew....I'm sorry Tifa...For everything....If you need a shoulder to cry on...You can cry on mine. Let him sleep for a while....While I healed him I gave him a sleeping potion...He'll be out for a while....But try & stay here with him....Can you do that...?"

Tifa was surprised by the hug but didn't stop Aerith, she really needed that and somehow Aerith knew. She nodded slowly still fighting to control the tears that threatened to fall. Tifa kept reminding herself that she had to be strong and couldn't cry in front of her friends. She was suppose to be the cheerful, optimistic one who lifts others spirit up, not the other way around.
"Thank you Aerith...... I guess I needed that..... I will be here in case he wants something or needs help so don't worry." She let a weak but a smile form on her lips as she looked at her friend before taking a quick glance at the one sleeping next to her on the bed. (Okay  ) |
