Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” If one more PSICOM soldier showed up in Gaia, Repa was going to shoot herself. All this mayhem was starting to irritate her beyond all belief. The only reason she was staying here was for Cloud...Cloud and his focus. Nothing more, otherwise she would’ve ditched this PSICOM infested world a long time ago. All they ever did was go around shooting anyone or anything that seemed a little frightening to them. Like…herself for instance…although she knew there were other reasons behind the attacks against her. Helping out a L’Cie…not only that but helping them escape and take down PSICOM forces, well that targeted her as a fugitive and enemy of Cocoon…so that was great. Anyways, it was another typical day in Edge…running down the street away from PSICOM and their overpriced toys. “This is ridiculous!” Repa huffed as she ran as fast as her legs would take her down the street. Turning back every so often to fire bullets from her gunblade as she kept one step ahead of PSICOM. This wasn’t fair, chasing her down the road with vehicles and bioweapons, although Repa had a superhuman speed it was hard to keep up with all of this…she had a limit, their cars didn’t. As she rounded a corner, skidding a bit from the speed and grazing her hand on the ground to keep her balanced as she turned, Repa tried to come up with a quick plan, to get her out of this mess…or to at least get PSICOM to leave her alone. As she started coming down this next street she saw a car on the side of the road, parked and everything. No one was in it so she decided to use it as…as well a bit of a boost for her as that quick thinking of hers came to an end. While coming upon the car Repa jumped and used the back of the car as a spring, pushing off of the bumper and flying backwards to get above the PSICOM vehicles. Stabbing her blade into the roof of the military car she planted herself there, looking back at the flying bioweapons getting ready to fire at her. With a smug grin crossing her face, she ripped the blade out of the metal rooftop and jumped off, missing the fire of electricity and landing on another much smaller vehicle, a motorcycle like one, her blade thrust into the front of this one. As she was spread across the front and faced the driver she waved a bit "Hi there" SHe smiled before using all the strength she had to twist around and kick the driver off and pulling her blade out of this motorcycle, kicking it back into the middle of the road to run into the last of PSICOM’s military vehicles. Landing on the sidewalk, Repa made a run for it, folding her blade back into gun form just in case some soldiers were still following her. Coming across an open alley way, she decided to stop there and catch her breath. Leaning against the wall and resting her weapon at her side she breathed in deeply, staying alert for any signs of soldiers…or any other threat to her…she wasn’t playing around anymore. You just couldn’t trust people these days…anyone could come up and shoot you…for no reason. Words: 655 Muse: Eh. Pretty good. Notes: Its bleh...sorry.

Daytime was never really that busy, but today seemed different. There was a lot more noise and a lot of gunfire. He thought about finding someplace safer, but he was out of the way as it was. There's no need to travel out. And so he sat there.
Servos seemed to hang out a lot in these alleys. Not sure why though. It probably had to do with his legs and the noise they were making when he walked. He sat on the ground; one leg stretched out and the other bent with his arm on top of it. He watched the crowds of they town scatter as something was happening. He didn't really know what happens these days, so it could just be some kind of normal occurrence.
A girl sprinted into the alley with a very strange looking weapon. She was out of breath and kept looking out on the street for something. More likely someone, though. He guessed she hadn't noticed him there and he didn't feel like making himself known at first, but the silence was just too much for him and he decided to break it.
"Uh... If you're hiding from someone, there's a better spot to do it." He gestured to the other side of himself. While he wasn't the biggest man in the world, he was by no means small. The girl could easily be hidden if she curled up and for extra measure, there was an empty box near him he could put over it. He looked like a well-armed homeless guy as it was, so this shouldn't really be too out of the ordinary.
Whatever was chasing her could be dodged. Just about every problem has a peaceful solution, but you have to find it. That's his philosophy.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” It seemed that Repa was too oblivious…or too focused on PSICOM to notice Servos sitting there in the alley. After confirming that PSICOM was too busy scattering around trying to fix her mess with their automobiles, Repa let out a deep breath and slid down the wall she was leaning against, her knees bent as she rested her eyes on the ground before a voice alerted her. Shooting right back up to her feet she aimed her gunblade at Servos, who was the one that startled her. Her eyes glanced from him to the box beside him. Was he…for real? Hiding under a box. Was PSICOM that stupid? No, but they probably wouldn’t think a fugitive like Repa would be so silly as to hide under a box. Slowly lowering her weapon Repa just smirked a smile. “I think I’m okay for now…but thanks.” She said before leaning back against the wall as she had before, her eyes glancing out of the alleyway every now and then as things seemed to quiet down. She didn’t know whether to keep babbling, or to just go on her merry way, Repa was too social and too nice of a person to just walk off. She liked to make conversation and liked to make friends…but was now really the best time since she almost had gotten run over by an army? “Gaia has been taking hit after hit…” She sighed sinking down the side of the wall once again to rest up a bit. She leaned her back against the wall and kept her knees bent, not completely sitting down just in case she had to jump right up again. “From the stories I’ve heard…ShinRa’s SOLDIER’s and stuff…then this PSICOM crap….i’m surprised people still live here.” She said in sort of a complaining tone, but it’s not like she lived here or anything…temporarily maybe but that was it. Repa shifted her glance to Servos. “Are you a civilian?” She felt the need to ask for some reason. Words: 436 Muse: meh, its okay. Notes: None

She snapped and pointed her weapon at him and he instantly stuck his steel hands into the air. He didn't want a fight. She hadn't seen him so it was expected that she'd do that.
"Alright then." He wasn't going to push it if she didn't want to hide. He shifted a little and put his other leg down, it whined as he did.
She ranted a bit about the ShinRa SOLDIERs and something else called PSICOM. Boy, this future was confusing. Being asleep for nearly 4 decades does that. He tilted his head to the side to show he didn't know what she was talking about.
"I can't claim to be a civilian, but I also can't claim to be a combatant. Please forgive me, I've been shutdown for nearly 40 years. What's happening? He rolled back his sleeve and showed the metal his body was mostly made of.
"My name is Servos. I'm a cyborg. 88% full conversion." He smiled and bowed his head politely. Whatever was going on, was probably now his problem anyway. He might as well get introduced.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” As Repa slowly lowered her weapon back to her side she heard the sound of metal when he moved his leg. She raised an eyebrow and looked down at her weapon…Was it her weapon that was starting to make the sound? She lifted it back up, pointing the barrel towards the sky as she looked at it around the swinging gears it used to transfer from gun to blade. Nothing seemed out of place, or rusting or anything like that. She brushed off the sound and lowered it once again before listening to Servos speak. Shut…down? What did he mean by that? But then Repa saw the metal arm and her eyes widened a bit, she had never heard of such a thing…unless it was science fiction or something like that. These were things you saw in movies…not reality…or so she thought. “Oh.” Was all she could really say, trying to come up with words to sum everything up quickly. “I…don’t really know what to say about ShinRa, but this PSCIOM group…they are an elite part of the Sanctum’s army of a world called Cocoon…There are other worlds out there that people can travel to…I am walking proof.” Repa said almost proudly, when people didn’t know there were other beings out there from different worlds, they seemed amazed at those other beings, she always had fun explaining her world and everything. “But, they are here searching for…a fugitive to their world, shooting anything in their way…that’s basically it in a nutshell.” She shrugged a bit before he introduced himself. Repa felt a bit better now, he didn’t seem so dangerous, so she smiled a bit and rested her gunblade against her shoulder, holding it up so it didn’t have to hang at her side. “Repa Raines…” She said simply stating her name, still not being able to believe this whole cyborg thing…it was truly amazing, she was interested in knowing what it was like…how this technology could be around 4 decades ago…her world was known for its vast advancement in technology, but nothing like this. “It’s nice to meet you Servos…and sorry about the hostility a few minutes ago…it just seems you can’t trust anyone these days…gotta stay on your toes around here.”Words: 485 Muse: Good Notes: None

Its kind of funny when a piece of science fiction is skeptical about something. It seems he is that way a lot recently, but then again he was gone for about 40 years. It wasn't hard to believe that they'd advanced to time/space technologies. After arguing with himself internally, he finally agreed that it was very possible and probably the truth. I mean, she had no reason to lie, right?
When he heard that this group was going around shooting anybody that just happened to be in their way, he got a bit angry. His smiling face, was replaced with a steely serious look. Almost looking as robotic as the rest of him.
"I agree. I was nearly mugged not too long ago. This place isn't the safest. But I bet it'll be safer once those PSICOM guys leave. You want some help? I was originally designed for many purposes; war was near the top of the list." Both his legs made a slight whining noise as he stood up. With both hands, he pulled his sword and shotgun from their places on his back. Now free of the weight, his duster blew gently in the breeze.
"I don't like fighting very much... and I really doubt I have a place in this future, but no one harms innocent people for any reason. Especially while I'm around." He twirled the large and heavy two-handed sword in his left hand like it was as light as a rapier. He rested the shotgun on his right shoulder.
His legs still made noise, but it sounded more ominous than before, as he stepped out into the street waiting for one of these 'PSICOM' guys to come by and try and shoot him.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Glancing out of the alley Repa felt a bit safer, PSICOM was busy fixing their machines and stuff and well…Repa was out of harm’s way at least for now, until they came looking for her and Cloud once more. That put a damper on her mood, she just sighed and nodded to the lack of safety this town had these days. Though she didn’t know it before, it seemed way to dangerous for people to be used to. “Welcome to my life…I feel as if I have a bull’s-eye tattooed on my forehead.” She said almost with a smile, not happy but it was still there. Almost a sad smile, why was there a need to be happy when you were being targeted every day of your life? And it wasn’t just PSICOM, in her own world there was a war going on, and that added her to the hit list, and then there was Sephiroth and his remnants, but that’s a completely separate story she got herself mixed into. Help? With PSICOM? Well that would be very nice, although it just seemed that once you shot a soldier that more came after you…like they multiplied every time one went down. But getting back to her apartment wouldn’t be fun if she had to sneak her way around PSICOM, so busting right through them would be the easiest thing to do. With a smug smile on her face Repa lifted her weapon and nodded some. “I’d be grateful for the assistance.” She said before agreeing with him about not liking the fighting, but innocent people were in danger of this…that was the only time Repa really fought, unless it was self defense. “Alright then…” She nodded confirming the idea of going out there and making PSICOM scramble…maybe run them out of Edge for now…that would be a dream come true. Repa walked over to the corner of the alley, bent down on her knees and peeked around the corner to watch what PSICOM was doing, not much of anything except trying to fix their automobiles. “People shouldn’t be attacked like this…struck with fear of being shot just for being different.” She said in a low voice trying not to draw attention. “This is for the innocent people who never stood a chance.” She said gripping her gunblade extremely tight before watching Servos walk out into the street, well…that would grab some attention. As he went out into the middle of the street, Repa just trotted along and stood beside him watching as PSICOM just stared and got their guns ready. “I sure hope you’re up for this.” She whispered to him off to the side aiming her gun straight out forward ready to take on some PSICOM. “Too late now.” And with that she grinned and opened fire. "Too late for them." He answered much louder. These His hair shadowed his eyes as a grinned stretched across his face. They thought they could kill him. With those weapons? It'd take one very lucky shot to do a bit of damage to his plating. As the fire began, he charged forwards. Even with the noise his legs made, he didn't slow down. A full speed charge would slam a soldier into a vehicle enough to leave him stuck there for a long time. His sword swung wide, catching three men in the chest, cleaving them in two. Another soldier would get a chest full of buckshot at point-blank range. He would not be getting up anytime soon, either.
As more would descend on him, Servos leaped forward into the air and threw his sword at a row of men, skewering them. As he landed, he would take a helmet from one of the deceased PSICOM soldiers and wear it.
Some lucky guy got off some rounds on the cyborg. He moved with the bullets like someone normal would, but he didn't fall down. He just moved forwards and grabbed him by the throat. Off to his side, he saw a vacated store. In the window were some familiar looking gems: Materia. With a light toss, he sent the soldier through the display and and grabbed three of the stones. Two more men appeared behind him, but he took them both down with a single blast.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Too late for PSICOM, that was a more positive outlook. Repa couldn’t help but smile as she agreed with Servos. She waited on PSICOM to make their move towards the two, but it seemed Servos would jump right in once PSICOM started firing anything they had. Repa just grinned to herself as she leaped forward at PSICOM and began her own battles, she was more of a martial artist and shoot from a blade rather than actually annihilating the people, but she had been laying the smack down recently with PSICOM just because they had been…so irritating and trying to kill her and her best friend…so she was just firing right back. Seemed with Servos helping clear the field that the soldiers were going down twice as fast, which made Repa very happy, less work for her to do seeing as she was already exhausted out of her mind, and it also meant getting home faster. “you guys need to be put in your place!” Repa said loudly as she fired off more shots just running forward to the main cluster of soldiers before tearing through the group with kicks and punches swiftly and easily making her way towards the more…elite fighting groups…the bioweapons were released as well. Behemoths charged down the road, big beasts they were and Repa just held her weapon out in front of her, closed her left eye to aim and shot it right at the beasts head. And with sheer luck, repa got it right between the eyes… But what wasn’t expected was another one just running down at Repa as fast as possible, not even a speedster like herself could’ve moved in time. As the behemoth stopped and pulled one of its clawed paws back and slashed it at Repa, she just fell back a few yards and hit the road hard, tears in her clothes and skin but…hey, could’ve been worse. Sitting back on the pavement Repa blinked for a second before hearing a roar from this beast once more. Sitting up and rubbing her head she gripped her gunblade and scowled before rising to her feet, feeling some blood actually run down her led from a cut she just scowled even more before letting her gunblade disappear, ripping off one of her gloves and charging at the beast head on. Jumping over another claw slash attack Repa struck her bare hand across the beast’s shoulder and landed on the ground watching as the behemoth fell to the ground lifeless. Looking down at her attire Repa sighed before a green light clouded around her hand as she casted magic of her own to heal herself, healing the cuts up was her main priority, and once that happened she felt better, looking back at PSICOM forces, some who were retreating she sort of smiled…running them out of Edge would be a good feeling… Words: 565 Muse: Great Notes: None

Well that was different. He turned and watched Repa dispatch the two giant creatures. She was good. As he watched, he flicked out the cylinder on the gun and fit the Materia into the open chambers. They fit perfectly and Servos snapped it back into place. A Behemoth ran straight through a row of miscellaneous parked vehicles, sending them flying in all directions, as it ran straight for him. Slowly, he raised it level with the giant creature's head.
"'Fraid not, big thingy." He smirked as he pulled the trigger. An arc of lightning shot from the barrel of the gun directly to the monstrosity's brain. It's feet faltered and it fell and slid to a stop in front of Servos. Nonchalantly, he walked up and thrust his claymore into it's front lobes. He continued his casual walk, with his shotgun resting on his shoulders, up the dead monster to see who else was there to fight.
"Of the PSUCOM, or whatever the hell you're called, that are left, how many still want to fight? I'm a machine so I can keep this up all day and night!" He challenged aloud. His combat programming was one of the few things fully intact and he was sure it could be seen.
A single soldier leaped at him, howling a warcry like some kind of barbarian. Without even removing it from its resting place, Servos fired on the poor soul with the next materia in the cylinder. A fireball sent the man flying back into a building. "Pathetic."
He turned to Repa and asked, "So how many of these guys come after you at one time?"

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” This fight was ending with a very satisfying result. Some soldiers were stupid enough to try and fight, but ended up losing their own life. Repa just took in a few deep breaths trying to catch it, even if it wasn’t a lot of work she was just really tired, about ready to collapse from exhaustion, especially after these past few days of nothing but running and fighting for your life. As she stood, holding her gunblade upright against her right shoulder, she looked over to make sure Servos was doing okay, and it seemed he was doing just fine. Taking down a Behemoth with that magic materia stuff, it seemed easy. But Repa wasn’t a materia user. She had the ability to heal and cure people without the use of any tools to get it to work, it was just there. She also had the ability to kill living things with her hands, that’s why she always…ALWAYS wore gloves…unless she wanted to kill you easily. With a smile on her face Repa took her gunblade and blew the smoke out of the barrel as the rest of PSICOM finally came to their senses and retreated. “Now that’s what I’m talking about.” Repa said raising her fist a bit at them almost challenging them to come back but they just kept going. As things quieted down Repa sighed and looked over at Servos as he talked to her. “Usually there are a lot of them…but PSICOM is nothing but a bunch of big babies waving around over priced toys…they don’t know how to fight…only how to shoot and hope that they hit their target…or it’s lights out for them” She said with a grin as PSICOM was finally out of view, they lost a lot of soldiers today, now maybe they would lay off Repa for once. That’d be nice…to be able to relax…maybe actually sleep more than 2 hours a night…if even that. With a yawn Repa stretched some up to her tip toes and back down before letting her gunblade disappear with magic. She placed her glove back on the hand she used to kill the behemoth and sighed. “That was fun…” she said before she let her smile fade some. “Thanks for the help…I really do appreciate it…now if PSICOM is smart they’ll leave me alone for once and let me take a nap.” With that said her smile perked up a bit, only curving up on one side she smirked some. “Doubt it though…they aren’t that bright.”Words: 530 Muse: Great Notes: Notta

"Well, if push comes to shove, I'll just slaughter them. No offense but you do look like you haven't slept well for a while." Servos placed his sword in its sheath on his back. The shot gun stayed out for a bit longer.
Something was bothering him and now was a convenient time to ask. "Say Repa, where did you say you were from again? And how did you get here?" This would have been the fastest time it has ever taken him to solve something if she knew stuff about these portals and how to find them.
He compulsively spun the cylinder of the gun as he talked. Depending on what she knew, he could go back and find Cissnei with the information and then they could go to the remains of Hojo's lab for whatever still remained intact that pertained to him and the cyberization project.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa couldn’t help but yawn now, speaking of sleep just made her…well tired. She nodded a bit covering her yawn with her hand and then that was when she hit dead tired. She felt light on her feet almost wanting to collapse on the ground right now and just sleep for a week, though that probably wasn’t the best idea. She rubbed the back of her head and looked off to the side. “Yeah…I’ve gotten that a lot lately…” She said with a small shrug of her shoulders before folding her arms across her chest. “But hey…life’s hard…if you can’t deal with it…you die…simple as that.” She said walking off a bit in the direction of her apartment, right about now…that nap sounded fantastic…she just might go take one if all was well around the area. Being caught off guard by the question, Repa stopped in her tracks and turned her head to the side a bit, so she could see Servos out of the corner or her eyes. “I….um didn’t.” She said a bit softly before turning back forward. ”It’s a place called Delatorr…nothing like this world…unless you count the amount of chaos going on…” She sighed a bit placing her hands on her hips, almost spacing off as she stared at the sky “I got here through a portal…easy things to conjure up in my world…” What more did she want to say? Not much, she kept it simple and to the point before starting off to her next destination…nap time. Words: 360 Muse: Good Notes: none

Yeah... I guess that's true. One thing that hasn't changed in 40 years." He looked down at his feet and sighed. As much as he could, he thought back on people he knew... It didn't take long til his memories burred and started to blank out. This was the worst thing. Even as a partially converted cyborg, his lifespan was dramatically lengthened. His only real consolation to this pseudo-immortality was memories and that has been so damaged that he's almost completely lost what his life was like before the Cyberization. The faces of his mother and father were lost. If he had siblings, he couldn't remember. Friends, coworkers, anyone he knew had been lost to him. But what he could remember is that from where he was from, everything you had was worked hard for and people wouldn't give up much without a bit of a fight.
That was interesting. He was hoping that when she said she came to this world that she wasn't just using some sort of metaphor. Servos smiled as he spoke again. "Well then. I was actually looking for information like that. I have a friend who needs to know that before helping me get to an old laboratory in search of files on my project. Thanks."
With the sounds of his legs moving, he made his way to catch up to Repa. He really wasn't to be expected back for a while so he might as well make sure the lady got to her place without being ambushed. She was skilled, but sleep deprivation can dull the blade of one's mind and skills.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa sighed a bit. He was right, nothing would ever change about that. Life or death, it was an all around thing people had to face each and every day. It just seemed the lucky ones survived to see tomorrow compared to the unlucky like those PSICOM soldiers a few moments ago. It wasn’t really like her to annihilate people like that, human beings, but that’s how life was, survival of the fittest. It sickened her some though, knowing that someone she had killed…could’ve been a loved one of someone’s family. She knew she’d be pretty peeved if one of her family members had been taken away like that…in fact, it had happened to her. She had lost her oldest brother Drake that way…of course he was in combat at the time, but still…it was enough to get anyone seeking revenge…which Repa never got. It wasn’t worth going out and killing someone else for her own loss…though that wasn’t the exact way everyone else in her family saw it. Shaking the thought out of her head, Repa started walking a bit more while things were safe for the time being. She listened to Servos and instantly become interested. “Really? You’re going searching?” She asked turning around, a spark in her eyes almost. Of course she’d want to know what was up, she liked to keep well informed, as well as offer her services, but…didn’t she already have enough on her plate? She helped so many people being here, it was unreal how she managed to do it all…hence she was turning into an insomniac who couldn’t sleep anymore. “If you ever need any help…you or your friend…just let me know. I may not be from here but I’m sure I can spot off a few facts or helpful hints here and there.” She said with a small smile on her face just to show she was being serious. Offering her help and not minding if he ever asked for it. As Repa started off she noticed Servos catching up to her. Probably just to make sure she made it home safely since PSICOM was in the area, probably arming up once again to go look for Cloud or anything else they thought was ‘dangerous’. She decided to start some small talk, instead of this…silence that seemed to be everywhere nowadays. “So….this project, those files you want to find….are they for anything specific? Or did you just want to take a look…?” Curiosity struck her a lot of times, though she knew to stay away from it most times…sometimes it was just hard to resist a simple question. Curiosity killed the cat…and that’s all anyone ever said to her when she was intrigued by something. Words: 563 Muse: Good Notes: None
