“T-thank you Alex…and…it’s okay, everyone has their…moments.” “Uh…we should probably get inside, before we’re both caught out here in the storm…”
Alex looked up and saw no stars in the sky what so ever.....And it was lightning as well...."Yeah we better get inside before we get soaked....That thundering sounds like it got pissed at some thing...." H grabbed her hand in his and they headed for the nearest place to go inside....Without seeing their parents....Just as they rain came down....But Alex was the last one in and his hair and back were soaked! The cool air from the inside air conditioner hit him hard....He was shivering....

“Well, Richard, it’s quite an offer, but we’re actually doing just fine right about now, seems the peak of this battle is already passed.”
“Besides, living in another world wouldn’t help my situation here…”
Richard nodded in agreement.....And then looked back....But their kids were gone.....
"Maybe we should go on in....It's getting rather nasty out here....After you...Your highness...." Richard of course knew where his generosity lies....He was not about to be cruel to a king...He knew better than that.....But for the king's sake he had better hope everything was okay and the war was over as he said....But if it was not, then maybe the king would consider his help......

“Oh she’s nice and stuff, very friendly. And yeah, she’s fun to be around you’ll like her, If you spend more time with her that is.” “But wait till you see her closet, you might get lost in there.” “Oh you should see the place in the winter towards the holidays, decorated and everything, it’s very…pretty. And during the spring, bright flowers everywhere!”

“Look there’s our parents, let’s see how they stand on you all staying overnight” Stella remained by Josh's side as they walked up to their parents.... “So…I’ve come up with an idea….It’s rather late, what if the Fleurets stay overnight? I’d feel bad sending them home this late…”
Stella looked at her father with that little look she did when ever she wanted some thing.....And smiled a sweet smile.....
"Alright....I say yes if the Raines only approves...." Stella smiled bigger....She looked over at Raines....And just looked hopeful...That the king would agree as well....There was no reason not to...... |

 Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. "Yeah we better get inside before we get soaked....That thundering sounds like it got pissed at some thing...." Repa had made it inside right on time as the rain came down in giant buckets, but Alex…wasn’t so lucky. As she turned around to look at him her eyes widened a bit, of course he was probably cold, it was usually cold in this world none the less. “Oh my…” She said with a slight snicker as she smiled a bit and took his hand leading him down a nearby hallway, cutting around some major rooms before leading to a pair of double doors. “You must be frozen.” Repa said pushing the doors opening and she walked in. Just as she left it, nice, neat, and very tidy. This was her room. As Repa walked in she looked around looking for something, obviously not a jacket of her own since she was a girl and any jacket she had…would be silly for a guy to wear. So as she rummaged through her room she started tossing things out of her closet. From shoes to tops to random things like headphones and what not till she yelled out from inside her closet. “Ah ha! Found it.”Repa walked back out holding a soft fuzzy blanket, it was a dark blue shade, nothing girly. She opened the blanket up and went ahead and wrapped it around Alex herself. “Hope that’s better for now…it gets really freezing in here sometimes…good to have these kinds of things on hand eh?” She said with a smile hoping Alex wasn’t as cold anymore, but now that she thought about it a tiny shiver when down her spine as the cold A/C blew through the halls. “Do you want something to change into? I’m sure Josh wouldn’t mind…”===================== "Maybe we should go on in....It's getting rather nasty out here....After you...Your highness...." Raines nodded before heading inside, it was best not to be caught out here looking like a spy, since he didn’t know where Repa and Alex had run off to now. Hm. So Stella’s father, Richard approved of the idea, would his own father? Surely he would. “Come on dad…think about it…more time to make new friends eh?” Josh pleaded as he grinned at his father, he really wanted Stella to stay, he wanted to get to know her more and become at least somewhat familiar with her and what not. Besides, Repa seemed to be enjoying talking to Alex if they haven’t popped up yet. Josh holded his hands together almost ready to beg for his new friends to stay, but the look on his father’s face told him not to embarrass him.
Raines pondered the thought. It would give Repa and Alex time to bond and get closer, that is if Richard’s plan was to work, a special dinner for the two? Possibly, it was a good idea. So after rubbing his chin, he grinned a bit and looked at Stella. “It would be an honor to have you and your family stay here tonight.” He said with a grin before looking off down the hall towards his royal chambers. “I’ll be in my chambers, please…make yourselves at home and if you need anything my servants will attend to you.” Raines said dismissing the three and walking off to his chambers to think about what he was getting himself, and his family into.
Josh was pleased as he looked at Stella with a victory smile. “Awesome! Glad you get to stay. Now I’m guessing you want to change? Repa always used to complain how bad dresses were…so lets go find you something out of the mall that is Repa’s closet.” He said walking backwards waiting for Stella to follow then he would go back to walking forwards.

Alex stood there shivering slightly....Even his teeth was chattering....
“Oh my…” “You must be frozen.” Alex saw her dash away from him for a moment as he waited there....He looked at the time on his watch...Not another hour before he had to really take his medicine....Luckily he snuck it in with him....Then she came back....And wrapped her blanket around him.....He just smiled at the kindness she was showing....
“Hope that’s better for now…it gets really freezing in here sometimes…good to have these kinds of things on hand eh?”
“Do you want something to change into? I’m sure Josh wouldn’t mind…”
"O...kay...." He said trying to avoid any open air vents above them.....If that air hit him he would really hate it....She was right, it was literally freezing in this place! Alex didn't realize this was happening right now...They were having sorta a moment....As he looked into her eyes...
"Repa.....Thank you..." He smiled as he touched the tip of his finger on her cheek....Yes he was really being sweet on her....

And with that her father walked off and smiled to himself....As he saw his children was for once away from that nasty prince Noctis.....Who he truly had forgotten about until now....He would be plotting a way to get these people on his side all night long....And how to get them to be against Noctis.....Yeah he was a con man....and good at it....
Stella smiled at Josh.....She was glad that she finally found a person she could relate to. As they were walking she wanted to start another conversation...."So Josh....As handsome as you are....Do you have a girl?" She wasn't aiming to claim him as hers....She had Noctis.....She was just making small talk.....

Repa was committed right now and she couldn’t have this. Though this was partially her fault, for being so dang nice and what not. She sighed a bit and looked down before figuring she better cut this right here, right now. Tell Alex the truth and not lead him on. “Alex…I uh…don’t mean to be rude but…” She took a small step back after he had touched her cheek. She looked away from him as that sinking feeling settled into her stomach. “I’m seeing someone right now…I don’t know if what was going on here is just really friendly or…well, I just thought I’d get that out in the open. Sorry.” Repa folded her arms together and held them behind her back as she didn’t make eye contact with Alex anymore. She didn’t want to hear or see his reaction, she was never good with this sort of thing, unless she didn’t care for the gentleman at all. But here, there was something there, but again, Repa was committed. She couldn’t develop feelings for someone else, it would only end up in disaster for her, for Yazoo, and for Alex. After a split second of silence, Repa figured she best move on, not wait around for him to say anything back to her. “I…better go.” She said turning a sharp 180 and heading for her room. Tonight she was going to run off, and not come back, no matter what. So she had to start packing. When Repa entered her room she practically slammed the doors behind her and went to change back into her jeans, boots, and a T-shirt ensemble and then she began to pack for her runaway mission. |

Josh was happy to have guests for once, it was…less boring now. Though Stella’s father sort of made him a bit suspicious, but those feelings would go away once he left, and when he did Josh just chuckled at Stella’s attempt at small talk. Was he really going to spill out everything about his love life? Yes. “Yeah, I do. Her name’s Ebony Blackwell.” Josh started as his mind started to stare off into space, this would be a fun conversation, for him, though it would make him miss Ebony only more, talking about her this way. “She’s a very great girl, I’m glad to say this, but I really do Love her. Does that sound crazy? A guy like me, a soldier, a young one for that, to be in love?” Josh grinned a little, hoping Stella was enjoying his goofy grin, not that he noticed it really, it just happened whenever he talked about his girl.
Did Stella have a significant other? Or was Josh just being stupid, talking about Ebony in front of her. “Anyways…do you have a boy? Or am I just being insensitive standing here and talking about my love life…?” Josh didn’t want to offend her or anything, he didn’t know what she was like really, at least for now. He did want to get to know her and all, but just as friends, that was it. His heart was set to the girl of Cocoon, Ebony Blackwell. “Well, lets go find you something to wear, that dress…as beautiful as it is, you gotta want something different. I know I do.” He said tugging at the collar of his uniform jacket.

"Repa...." But before he could say he was sorry himself, she left in quite a bit of a hurry to get away from him. What he felt next was guilt. As he saw her leave. If he knew she had a guy some where he would've never been sweet on her. Great, the first girl he ever liked....Was taken....
Alex looked down and just sighed....."Smooth Alex....Real smooth....." He turned around and walked the other way....Luckily though Raines and Richard didn't see this happen....Alex walked inside the stay room he was given for the night...And sat on his bed....It was a few rooms away from Repa's.....He was torn up from what Repa told him. He went out of his way to help her and now this....Would he ever get a break? Would he ever find the girl of his dreams? Maybe he was doomed to never even have that.....But he still liked Repa....Even when she said that to him.....Who ever the guy was he hasn't seen him around the place....Wouldn't her boy friend be at the dinner they had earlier? That was weird....
But Alex just took the thoughts out of his head....As he prepared for bed and got out his medicine bag....The fire was going all warm behind his back in the fire place....It was still raining out side....Alex felt the blanket on his back. Maybe he should give this back....No....

This dress was getting on her nerves...At this point she didn't care what Repa's tastes in clothes were she just wanted to get out of this darn thing....It was getting a bit hot in it.....And she followed Josh to his sisters bed room....Stella really wanted to see Repa's room....Maybe see what kind of taste she had....She was a princess just like her....Maybe they shared the same interests....
"And Josh....I'm glad you have some one....A hero like you needs some one to be there by his side...."

Josh grinned, so they both had someone. That was nice. "Well whoever that guy is, he sure is lucky...now...lets go find you something to wear." He said leading Stella towards his sister's room. Upon arriving to the set of double doors Josh was about to knock as he heard a few rushing sounds from inside, and the squeaking of hinges...the balcony doors perhaps? What was Repa doing in there? Wasn't it raining outside. After a moment of silence and staring at blank white doors, Josh raised his fist and knocked gently against one of the two doors. “Repa? You in here?” Josh called listening for a response.
Nothing...a few moments later the door flew open and there stood an out of breath Repa. What...was she doing? "Hey...need something?" She had asked and Josh just stared for a second. “Uh. Do you have something that Stella could change into?” After a few moments of waiting on his sister, he peeked inside, opening the door fully and walking in slightly, hoping he wasn't intruding upon his sister. Repa had walked off into her closet, digging for something surely. When she came back out with 2 sets of clothes Josh knew Repa was thinking ahead. "Here you go...enjoy." She handed over a nice bedtime outfit, top, bottom and all. And a pair of jeans and a nice blouse, for the next day.
Repa seemed to be in a rush, and Josh didn't know whether to ask or to just walk away, he chose the second option. Why question her? So Josh just smiled took the clothes for Stella and walked out shutting the door and pausing. "Strange..." He more or less pondered to himself before handing Stella the set of clothes and went to show her to one of the guest rooms.

Though the part about escaping…running away, that was always part of Repa’s plan, since the second she stepped foot in this castle, she knew she had to leave right away. The delay of the party didn’t help some, it had started to rain and it was only bound to get worse. Repa knew she couldn’t just waltz out the front door, she had to sneak out, that wouldn’t be too hard, she knew this castle like the back of her hand, but then again…with guests around, she had to take the simplest, yet most difficult route out. The window. Repa was frantically picking out clothes and stuffing them into a backpack, grabbing money and anything else she needed along the way, hopefully the rain would let up so she could make her escape, but that wasn’t probably gonna happen. “Okay, I’ve got clothes, money, necessities…anything else?” She said to herself making a mental list of all the items she had and the items she wanted, she seemed to be good, so now she hoisted the backpack onto her shoulders, it was rather heavy, and she walked out to a balcony that was extended from her room. Opening the glass double doors she stared and sighed in frustration. It was raining cats and dogs outside! How was she to scale the wall now? She’d just have to try. Before stepping outside she heard a knock at her door. “Repa? You in here?” Great, Josh was at the door. Repa quickly shut the glass doors and threw her backpack into her closet, shutting the closet door and racing over to her bedroom doors opening one of them and staring at Josh and Stella trying to catch a few breaths. “Hey…need something?” She said out of breath hoping this wouldn’t take long. “Uh. Do you have something that Stella could change into?” Well. That was simple. Repa nodded slightly and rushed into her closet, digging through anything she had. She did have a nice stock of unworn clothes, that would work. She grabbed a pair of jeans and a nice blouse for tomorrow for Stella, and a night outfit for her tonight. Hopefully there would be no complaints and everyone would just move on. Repa walked out handing the clothes to Josh since he should be a gentlemen, boys were supposed to carry stuff for girls, it was a silent obligation. “Here you go…enjoy.” She said trying to rush the two out of her room, and once that was accomplished, and the doors were shut, Repa sighed in relief that Josh didn’t ask about her odd behavior. Once she was sure everyone was out of hearing distance of her room, Repa grabbed her backpack and hoisted it onto her shoulders again, opened up the glass doors and walked out into the pouring rain. She tightened her gloves and put one leg over the ledge of the balcony and then followed by the other, it was slippery but she had a good grip against the marble of the castle. From the edge of her balcony to the grass below it was probably a good 30ft drop, so she had to be careful. Scaling down the wall slowly inch by inch, Repa grabbed onto anything that would keep her from slipping. “And this is why I don’t rock climb.” She whined to herself as she was halfway down, 15 feet above ground, and taking a cautious step down, she slipped, losing her grip and falling into the mushy muddy grass on her side. Ouch. With a slight groan she sat up on her side and rubbed her head, her hair was soaked and she had landed in a mud puddle, her jeans, boots, and top all stained with mud. Oh well. Getting back up to her feet and grabbing her backpack which had fallen a few feet away, Repa tried to stretch out the sore spots she now obtained, like in her back and shoulders. Once she was focused again on her escape, she looked forward and all she saw was a hand, and in it, a gun, pointing the barrel at her head. Great. A few rebels had come up from down town, for what? She didn’t know, but apparently, Repa was now at the wrong place…at the wrong time. “Princess…why are you out so late…? Isn’t it passed your bedtime?” One of the men chuckled placing a pair of cuffs on Repa’s wrist’s locking them together. This only made her smirk. With her backpack still on and cuffs locking her hands together she knocked the gun away from her head and sent a fine roundhouse kick to the gunman’s face, knocking him down, this was her chance to run. Truthfully, she was terrified. She turned and ran back for the castle but slid in the same mud puddle she had fallen in before. Unable to react quick enough to get up with so much weight on her back and her hands locked together she went with the first response that came to mind. She screamed for help…from anyone. “DAD!! JOSH! ALEX SOMEONE!” She cried out hoping someone would hear her pleas over the roar of the thunderstorm. |

((Poor Alex, no one to talk to til he finds Repa^^)) Alex finally got all his meds taken. He hated taking them so damned much. That was why back on Tenebrae he was trying to fix the problem with a cure....A cure that would make him all well again....He couldn't understand why his rune and other powers made him so damned sick all the time....He still doesn't understand the chemicals and such his foster father used on him....
After taking his meds, he was hungry....He was always hungry after taking them.....He walked out of his room and started to look for the kitchen....He didn't exactly know where to go to find the kitchen...It took him a while to get Noct's palace memorized....He was still upset as well about what Repa said...And how he tried to win her over. He wouldn't give up though. He didn't care if she had a guy....The guy's not been here at all tonight what was up with that? Did he not visit her?
“DAD!! JOSH! ALEX SOMEONE!”
Repa? It had to be her....Alex heard her cry for help.....And rushed to where he heard it! As he saw some guys gaining up on her....Alex hid himself so they would not spot him...What was she doing out this late in the rain any way? But that was the least of his worries...He had to help her some how! So he snuck out of the building....And ran up behind the guys that had knocked Repa to the ground....And gave a round house kick to one of them! So hard it knocked them to the ground senseless....The other two turned around and saw Alex and grinned sinisterly....As they started to make their moves on Alex....He pulled both guns in one quick motion! And blasted them both dead! Who ever they were, they would not be able to hurt Repa any more....
Alex threw his guns on the ground and looked for a key to uncuff Repa's hand cuffs....And found the key in one of the men's pocket he just killed and rushed over to Repa.....And uncuffed her....
"Repa?" The one Alex knocked to the ground came to...And started for Alex's gun....But he snapped his leg on a twig and Alex swiftly turned around! And shot out red lightning from his hands! And killed the man instantly....He turned his attention back to Repa...."Repa...?"

Stella tried to be nice to every one...But that was kinda rude.... "Strange..."
"Is she always like that?" Stella was just wondering....As she looked at the cute clothes that she could borrow for the night and the next day....Obviously Repa didn't mind charity....But she seemed like she was not all in the mood for a visit....Stella just gave Josh a sweet smile then.....She knew his manners were much more better. But still Stella didn't know Repa all that well either.....But from what Noctis told her about Repa, she would like her.....Not tonight...To Stella the way, Repa just acted seemed like Repa didn't want any part to do with Stella....And that sorta made her sad....She was hoping to have some hot chocolate with Repa later....But looks like that wouldn't happen....

Josh chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his head some. “Eh, that’s not really Repa. She seemed to be…occupied. Sorry about that.” He mumbled a bit walking down the same hall Repa’s room was in. Most of the bedrooms and guest bedrooms were down this hall so it would be easy to find someone if they needed anything. “She’s usually more behaved when we have guests…maybe it just wasn’t a good time.” Josh hoped that was the case, Repa didn’t have anything against Stella did she? No, that wasn’t Repa. She didn’t hold grudges, Josh knew that it wasn’t personal against Stella, because he got the same treatment whenever Repa was in a hurry or doing something and didn’t want to be bothered.
Walking down the hall Josh stopped at a door, a single door, he opened the door which led to one of the guest rooms, it wasn’t small but it wasn’t like enormous like Repa’s or his own. “I hope this is alright…its one of the few guest rooms were have here, at least in this part of the castle. I’d much rather you and your family stay in this part…just incase you should need anything.” He grinned handing her a key to the room just in case she needed to lock it or something. “If you need anything, just give me a holler-“
Speaking of hollers.
“DAD!! JOSH! ALEX SOMEONE!”
That wasn’t good. “I’ll be back.” Josh said running for his room, he entered and exited his room rather quickly, only carrying his gunblade as he ran out of the castle, by the time he got there…everything was taken care of. He looked across the lot and saw Alex and Repa. She had been attacked, or something like that. He ran over and looked at her, then Alex, then the dead rebels. His eyes shifted back to Alex. “Thank you.” He said meaning, thanks for saving my sister- in a way. “I’ll go make sure no one else is around.” With that he flipped his gunblade into gun mode and rushed down the lot into a wooded area where he met up with a few other soldiers to scout the area of any other rebels.
