"A week from today...thats when the party will be held...if you don't have the technology to get to my world...I'll come back here and escort you all myself..."
"Alright....We'll travel with you as well....Since I have no idea where your world is at the moment....."
"It was a pleasure to meet you Mr. Fleuret...but I really must continue my search for my sister....If you don't me stealing Alexander here away for awhile? He would be of much use to me..."
"HM.....I see no reason why not. Since you were so generous to invite my family to dinner...." Alex raised his eye brow at his father. This was so unlike his father. To behave with such a kind attitude....Alex was taken aback when he actually agreed to let him continue searching for Repa....Alex remained quiet for a few moments...."Okay...." "Well, I'm off for the evening.....And Alex we will continue this conversation later on...." "Great....." Alex said that in his mind as he saw his father leave finally.....And when his father was for sure gone....Alex walked over to Joshua.....
Alex pulled on Joshua's arm slightly and let go....He had to make sure Joshua knew what he was getting himself in to...And not to mention, Joshua's whole family....."I hope you know what you're doing Joshua....My father is not the best dinner guest....He likes to make it his moment....Like the dinner was all for him...."

Josh nodded slightly acknowledging the statement. He glanced at Alex then back to Alex's father. "I'll be here around 6:00...if thats okay...We can meet here. Its a place I actually know how to get to." He shrugged some before listening again.
"HM.....I see no reason why not. Since you were so generous to invite my family to dinner...." "Okay...." "Well, I'm off for the evening.....And Alex we will continue this conversation later on...." "I hope you know what you're doing Joshua....My father is not the best dinner guest....He likes to make it his moment....Like the dinner was all for him...."
Josh laughed nervously a bit after Alex's father left. He scratched the back of his head along with his laugh. "To be honest...I made up that whole dinner party thing...But its not to say i cant whip one up easily...now if I had Repa around...things would be a breeze." Josh shrugged some waiting to be hit or something. "And dont worry, I know what its like having someone want to be the center of attention, we'll just let him have his moment Eh?" Hopefully Alex wasn't too mad at Josh for what he had did, Josh got yelled at alot because he didn't think his ideas all the way through sometimes, but hey he tried right? "And please...just call me Josh..." he nodded some at Alex.
Now to plan a party...and find repa to help plan the party. Oh wouldn't that be fun? No. "I was just trying to help man....i didn't mean to...get you upset or anything. Sorry." Josh mumbled just in case Alex was indeed mad or something. Poor Josh. Everyone got mad at him. But just wait for the wrath of King Raines when he has to invite people over for an unexpected and unplanned dinner party Josh had said they were having. Josh would get an ironed fist beating for that...unless he found Repa before he headed home.

Alex was deeply sorry about the way he acted....He was very much like his father in a lot of ways.....But since he met Noctis, Storm and Scar....He's been better....Especially with Storm around....Alex had to take a joke every now and then....Boy life sure knew how to throw hard balls at you....Alex was trying to think of a way to help out with the dinner with his father and sister that Josh invited him to...He felt bad about that to....
"You just made up that dinner party didn't you? If so, then don't worry about it.....I know you were just trying to help me....."
Alex then took a coughing spell! Great not here! He pulled out a handkerchief....to cover his mouth with. If he was going to search for Repa then he had to have his meds for the trip.....Noctis was always on him about them that he needed to take them with him every where so he couldn't have another black out spell like he had with Storm....And when Alex removed the white cloth from his mouth there were spots of blood on it....But he hid it put it back in his pocket.....And turned back around to face Josh......
"There's some thing you need to know about me first...." Yes, Alex was gonna tell him....Noctis also said that it was unwise to keep this illness a secret.....

Josh just shook his head and waved his hand a bit. "Dont worry about it. I get slapped around and yelled at all the time." Josh grinned a bit with a slight shrug as he figured, well he probably should've thought this more through, than just blurt out the first thing that came to mind. "I can find her...hopefully before next week. If not ill improvise...a dinner party isn't that hard to plan...i think." Josh then rubbed his chin in thought, what all was he inclined to do now if he didn't find the master party planner Repa? Figure out dinner, guests, fill in his father and what not, oh there was a lot to do. "You don't have to help me search I just figured it'd be a way to get you out of that...lovely discussion you and your father were about to have."
Josh decided then and there that Repa wasn't here, she had to be some place else. It would be a waste of time to search any longer, maybe she'd just turn up sometime? Highly doubt it. "Good luck this next week...I think im gonna head home and feel my own fathers wrath...besides i've got a party to plan..." Josh grinned some folding his arms across his chest. "If you do see Repa between now and then...tell her she is in big trouble and that ill be waiting for her at home...not that she'll listen." He shrugged again.

Good Josh didn't notice Alex place the napkin back into his pocket....He listened to all what Josh just told him....So they would depart until the party then? Great that meant he had to go home....No not where he was living now....To his father's home....Besides he was sure that Stella was already there....So that would help a bit....Even though Alex was destined to what he was destined to do, ((Not saying^^ XD)).....he was getting along with Stella for now....Since she was too living at Noctis's mansion. Palace more like it....So there was a small plus for Alex.....
"Alright....Here's my cell number....Just call me when ever you are ready...And don't worry, if she's here, I'll let you know...."
Alex sorta wished that he and Stella were like Repa and Josh....But that was so not gonna happen....He and Stella were so different. After all she blabbed to him what his true job was and then his father just hated that even more and started to hate Noctis even more now that his two very on flesh and blood were living with Prince Noctis and not him.....

Josh smiled and took the number, exchanging his as well. He raised an eyebrow at Alex as he placed the napkin in his pocket, the blood being the first thing that caught his eye. What was it? Internal bleeding or something? But what could’ve caused that…? It was none of Josh’s business anyway, so he didn’t say anything. Maybe in due time, Alex would want to share that little piece of information, but for now, Josh kept his mouth shut on the subject. “Alrighty then, I’ll give ya a call when I return…in a week or so…that is...if i need to.” With that Josh waved a bit before taking his leave from this area. That boy had a lot of work ahead of him, between planning a party and searching for Repa, whom was like a needle in a haystack, this would be one LONG week.
-----------A Week Later--------------
Josh was frantic. Things weren’t going as he had hoped. Repa was no where to be found and the party wasn’t coming along as fantastic as he wished. He’d gotten a few guests to attend, but worst part was, his father was furious, but agreed to be polite and go along with Josh’s little story. So here it was, the day of the dinner, and Josh was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Panicking. He was dressed up nicely, like any prince would be for a formal dinner party. He had the works. The shiny black shoes, the white gloves and cuffs, he was just handsome, but still…panicking.
It was almost 6 and he had to get back to Alexander’s world before he was late, so that’s what he did, trusting his father to finish up things back home, Josh made his way back to the playground he had met Alex and his father at. He looked at a watch that he hid under his cuffed sleeves before pulling the sleeve back over. It was 6:00. Josh took in a deep breath and let it go as well. “Okay Josh…It’s showtime…”
Hopefully…this night wasn’t a complete bust…

"Alright...See ya til then...." And with that, Alex left Josh...He wanted to help him find Repa.....But, that was a loss....Since Josh wanted to do that on his own....

Weeks later.....
Alex was home at his father's place....He was waiting for Josh to come back and retrieve him, his father and his sister Stella....Alex was dressed in a normal formal suit....As he stood in a hall way of the palace....And straightened his tie up as looked himself in the mirror.....He hated formal dinners more than any thing....But he had no choice since his father had agreed on this....
"Well, Alex you clean up nicely...." Alex's father said as he greeted his son....But Alex simply shrugged at that comment....And just looked himself in the mirror again....."Hmph....This is not my cup of tea....Maybe for you and my......sister."
He looked up as he heard the ruffles of a dress coming from down the hall way.....Alex looked up and then saw his sister.....She was beautiful...This was so not the sister he knew....But he for the first time has seen her in a formal gown such as this....Beautiful....But was she enjoying this as much as he was? That was the question.....

 Stella's formal dress^^ ========================================== Stella walked up to her brother and smiled as she saw his reaction she looked down and shyed a bit.....It was probably the first time he had ever seen her dress this way.....Her hair was flowing down as well.... "Don't make gaggy eyes at your sister Alex....She's just in a dress...." Well, their father ruined the moment.....Stella sighed.... "Yeah Alex....It's only a formal dinner....Not like I'm queen yet....or any thing....." Stella said to remind her brother that she was just like him simple and polite she was far from being a queen.....She dreaded that day coming every time it got closer and closer and more and more she got farther away from Noctis....But she wished he could at least be there with her tonight. But as long as her father was there, there was no chance in letting that happening....She missed Noctis so much.....And she was sure Alex hated this just as much as she did..... |

Josh tapped his foot a bit impatiently before pulling his phone out of his pocket and deciding to finally call Alex. He whistled to himself as the phone continued to ring. Many thoughts went through his head now. Was this all going to go okay? or be a complete bust? Was Repa okay wherever she was? How was his father doing at finishing setting things up? Was the palace spotless? oh the thoughts never ended as he continued to worry about it ALL. Once actually seeing the Fleurets Josh would most likely calm these nerves of his and mask them very well.
"Come on Alex...pick up please." Josh mumbled to himself before the rings stopped and voicemail hit. Josh rolled his eyes just waiting for the BEEP. "Hey Alex, its Joshua Raines...im uh...here, so when you get this message, head over towards that playground we met at the other day. Thanks" and with a click Josh ended the call and put the phone back in his pocket before putting his white gloves on, to complete his prince-like attire.

"Yeah Alex....It's only a formal dinner....Not like I'm queen yet....or any thing....." Alex would rather have his sister as queen then his father as head of the crew....any day! Any day! But then again there was that fine line against Stella....Since she was the one that told Alex, he was destined to kill his best friend....Noctis. But that would never ever happen....Alex would rather die himself than do such a horrible task....Luckily however, Noctis has not yet found about this....Thank heaven.....And Alex never intends on telling Noctis....Alex has a noble heart towards his friends....That means he would do any thing for their lives above his own.....
"Lost in thought son....? Let me remind you of reality...." That was enough to remind Alex of reality.....And he sighed as he looked down...But then his cell gave off a text message sound and Alex flipped it open....."Hey Alex, its Joshua Raines...im uh...here, so when you get this message, head over towards that playground we met at the other day. Thanks" Alex simply just closed his cell then and told his family where they needed to go to meet Josh....And so they all piled in the limo and headed for the play ground....As instructed......

Stella knew not to expect any reaction from her brother....She just looked down and smiled.....That was good enough for her....But she was ready non the less...She hated dinner parties! She hated being paraded around like this....To the eyes....This family looked normal....But on the inside if closed walls it was far more than a family....Stella walked out side with Alex courting her out side with his arm around hers as only for a protection from her father....
And Alex even sat by his father in the limo ride so Stella would not have to....This was truly brotherly protection....He has come to just admit that she is his sister....And would just have to deal with this.....She was his sister.....And there was no changing that....Even though she was the one that told him everything that horrible night she was about to fight Noctis.....But he stopped from letting that happen.....Stella got out of the limo first as they waited for Josh to arrive.....And Alex stood by her.....Their father simply sighed.....
"What...? Scared I won't be on my best behavior....?" The two siblings simply scoffed..... |

Josh was starting to get a little impatient. He tapped his foot, folded his arms, and whistled some as he waited. At least this gave his father some time to finish things up back home. Josh sighed, this was going to be a disaster, he had a gut feeling that it would be. Why did he have to do this? Plan and unplanned party to save a guy from being yelled at in public? Because he was nice, that’s why. There was that slight possibility that this would all work out…of course that was probably a 1 in a million shot he was aiming for. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of nature as he waited, until the sound of tires pulled up and he saw the limo. It was about time. Josh watched as the three got out of the limo. He recognized Alex, and his father, but he kept his jaw from dropping when he saw Stella. She looked rather beautiful, and as a Prince, he now felt obligated to compliment her.
He walked over to the tree with a smile on his face, still worried about the future of this evening, but a little better. “Nice to see you again Alex…Mr. Fleuret…and you miss…” He said looking at Stella. “Must be Alex’s sister….names Joshua Raines….and I must say, you look rather…ravishing.” He said with a slight bow as he then pulled out his phone. “We’re running a tad behind, but that’s okay. We should get going.” With a push of a few buttons a portal appeared, faintly growing in size enough for them all to walk through, like a door. “A gateway to my world” Josh grinned gesturing to the portal for them to walk through, he himself would go in last. “After you…” He said stepping aside to let the Fleurets through. Maybe…things would turn out okay. Maybe…just…maybe.

"Good idea...."“A gateway to my world” “After you…” Alex didn't want to keep the other people waiting on them....And so he entered into the portal.....When he entered he was in a grand ball room....It was even more elegant than the one his father had back home.....Wow! This place was huge! It was easy to get lost in here.....And Alex would get lost....It took him a while to even get used to Noctis's palace......He just waited there in the ball room for the others....

We should get going.” “After you…” Stella looked up and her father went through the gate way a head of her....And she was left behind with Josh......
"Care to escort a lady through....?" She asked....extending her hand to him.....She was a lady after all.....And it would not be suitable for him to deny his request if he was a gentlemen......She looked into his eyes then sorta studying him....He had a good soul. That was good. So she would be okay with him as a friend if he wanted to be friends with her....But right now she was excited about seeing his palace....It must be remarkable.....

Josh grinned as Stella held her hand out. Of course he would escort her through. He was a prince after all and tought manners beyond all belief. So to continue his...politeness, he took her hand continued to smile. "Of course. It would be an honor to escort a pretty lady, such as yourself." He said before leading her throught he portal into a glorious ball room. The dinner would be held in the grand hall dining room, and they'd stay here for now until called for. There were a few people around, so Josh decided to make some quick comments explaining the lack of people.
"It's a private party, Only our dearest friends were invited." Josh grinned at Stella gently letting go of her hand. "If you'll excuse me a moment?" Josh said with a slight departing bow as he quickly walked over to Alex and whispered looking around at the other fancy looking people. "Think everything's gonna be okay? I mean...for a short notice party this...is quite nice I think." Josh said rubbing his gloved hand through his shaggy white hair.
