Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Another early morning in the ShinRa building. Reno was awakened by the horrible sound of a buzzing alarm in his ear. He rolled over and slammed his hand on the snooze button before placing a pillow over his face and trying to get a few more minutes of sleep in before the big day actually started. Words had been going around ShinRa that there was a new assignment getting assigned to Reno and Cissnei…other words floated around about their newfound relationship as well. It wasn’t like superstar news to anyone in the building, but it sure caught some attention. Reno didn’t care though, he was just happy to be with Cissnei at the end of it all. So Reno, being the bum he was this morning, finally heard the buzzer ring another time and figured it was time to get up and get ready for work. He rolled out of bed, rubbing his eyes from all the tiredness he had gained the past few days. For some reason it was hard for him to fall asleep, and that wasn’t good when you had a job as significant as this one, you had to be in tip top shape every day…and Reno was good at playing all this tiredness as his goofy self, though he really did need some sleep. Oh well, he would never complain about it, as for today…a new mission was going to be started and Reno was almost a bit excited, he hoped there was something ‘flashy’ added to this mission. Maybe an explosion? Some fighting? Of course knowing Reno it would end up being the most boring mission…something along the lines of going back to that jewelry store and listening to the old sales lady go on about the different types of gems in the world and what not…the thought almost brought Reno back to sleep. After getting up and getting dressed, Reno whistled to himself as he fixed his shirt and coat to look all nice as he stared at himself in the mirror, making sure his hair was perfect and he looked…sharp. While whistling Reno determined that he looked great and put on a quick spray of that cologne Cissnei had complimented. He shoved his hands in his pockets and left his room, still whistling away as he made his way down the hall. He entered another hallway leading towards some of the offices as his song came to a close, he finally spoke the last line to himself just to put an extra bounce in his step. “Cuz every girl’s crazy ‘bout a sharp dressed man!” He said to himself before tugging at the collar of his jacket ending his little song with a pose before walking into his own office to re-read some papers for this mission. Sitting as his desk Reno studied the papers, it seemed this wasn’t some stupid jewelry mission after all. In fact, it seemed almost interesting. Apparently the President had been wanting to talk to some guy who worked for another company…but this man ‘disappeared’ Word had gotten out that this man was hiding out in a warehouse someplace in Edge or Midgar, and it was up to the Turks to find him and bring him back to the President…apparently it was urgent…since there was a stamp on the paper in big bold red letters that said ‘URGENT’. Was this man a scientist? Hopefully not, just what they needed was another crackpot around ShinRa like Hojo was…that was a nightmare. After getting a brief idea of what to expect, Reno set down the files on his desk and whistled his way out of his office, once again singing to himself, sharp dressed man. In the halls he noticed some of the secretaries smiling and waving at him with giggles. So…NOW they noticed him now that he was taken? What weird things life brings you, but Reno just shrugged them off as he couldn’t wait to see the most perfect girl he had ever met… And there he stood waiting for Cissnei to make her appearance in the office area this morning. He stood with a cup of coffee in his hands…something for a early morning ‘pick-me-up’ though it was bound to give Reno energy as well when they took off for this mission. As he waited along for any sign of Cissnei he closed his eyes and leaned back against a wall, whistling that little tune to himself and repeating the last line. “Cuz every girl’s crazy ‘bout a sharp dressed man.” He said in a musical tone to himself, tired or not, Reno was in a good mood. ...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Cissnei was sleeping in a curled up position when suddenly a ringing in her ears brought her out of her slumber. She jerked up and her eyes snapped open as she got her bearings. Yawning, Cissnei collapsed back into her bed and groaned before reaching a hand out and shutting off her alarm. Yawning again, she got out of bed and stretched. Running her fingers through her hair, she headed off to take a shower and after that, brushed her teeth, blow dried her hair and changed into a suit. The shower had woken her up and brought her back to reality. As she tied her tie she looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. The suit...why did ShinRa have to have such unflattering work uniforms anyway? Shrugging, she went back to her bedroom and retrieved her phone, which she put in her pocket, and her ring.
She smiled as she slipped it on. This would always make her happy because Reno gave it to her. She would never cherish anything so much as that tiny little ring. She smiled and looked down at it, her crimson eyes filled with happiness. She still couldn't believe Reno had asked her to be his girlfriend. It was now her dream. Thinking of the word dream made her think of her 'dream guy' that she had teased Reno about and she found herself giggling. Just imaging that fat guy sitting on him...priceless. But she had to keep her mind focused on other things. She couldn't think about Reno all the time. She knew that they were supposed to be going on a mission soon, today probably. She had been prepped for it the day before so she knew what to expect.
Turning, she picked up her shuriken and pistol and slipping the pistol inside her suit coat, she straitened her suit and walked out the door. She knew what their mission included, of course she had to know that, but she didn't know exactly what they would find. Reno had been sharpening up her martial arts skills and she was becoming very good at it. Not as good as he was by far, but of course, good enough to hold her own in most fights. She still hadn't gotten used to the ring sitting on her finger, and so she kept glancing down at it. She went nowhere without the ring, even on missions. Pushing some hair away from her face, Cissnei closed the door behind her softly and strode down the hallway with a purpose. She was elated that it was going to be her and Reno on this mission. Sure Tseng, Rude and Elena were great, but they didn't ever laugh at anything. This way she could for one be with her boyfriend, and two she could laugh even though they were on a serious mission.
She nodded to people as she went. Cissnei had never been he social butterfly of ShinRa, when there was a lot of people and she wasn't on business she always felt shy being around a ton of people. Still she liked people, and tried to be friendly with them. She rounded the corner and reaching out her hand, clasped the door handle and pulled the door open that let to Reno's office. Just in time to hear a song being sung. She stopped for a second just to listen and started laughing when she figured out what song was being sung. When she stepped into the office and saw Reno singing the song to himself her grin increased. “Every girl hm?” She gave him a wink and noticed the coffee he had. Dang, she needed some coffee. Maybe if she was REALLY cute with her puppy eyes she could con him into giving her some. On days like this you needed coffee. Knowing Reno though he would probably let her get some coffee before they started. “Ok so are we ready to hit the road for that mission soon Mr Sharp dressed man?” Since he was singing he was probably in a great mood, and Cissnei had to admit she was in a pretty good mood herself. Wondering when they would get a new mission, and having gotten herself prepared the day before Cissnei was now on edge to get into the mission. Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Reno was enjoying himself this morning, coffee in hand and a great tune to whistle to. It seemed like today was going to be a good day…especially with something to do around here for once! A mission! Reno just waited on Cissnei still with that song stuck in his head, thank God no one was here to hear him otherwise they just might stare at him all weird and stuff….not that they didn’t give him weird looks already but still! It would just prove that he was insane or stupid…or both! Every couple of minutes or so he would continue to repeat the line of ‘Sharp Dressed Man’ as it kept him pretty entertained for the time being. He closed his eyes with a grin on his face as he leaned back against one of the office walls, getting back to his song before hearing something like the door opening, then a laugh and his eyes shot open to see Cissnei standing there. Reno shut up right about then as he leaned back forward off the wall and set his coffee down on his desk. He chuckled a bit at Cissnei and rubbed the back of his head some, looking off to the side. “Of course every girl! Who doesn’t love a sharp dressed man?” He said looking back at her and adjusting his jacket as if he were making a point. When Cissnei then asked about leaving for the mission he nodded a bit, anytime she was ready to go they could head out…the earlier they got this mission done and over with the more time later Reno could probably spend time with her away from work and stuff. “Whenever you’re ready…We’re taking the Helicopter…shocker, but other than that everything’s ready to go…just make sure you have all you need.” He said before trying to tidy up a few files that were scattered on his desk. After a moment or two of trying to place files together he gave up and just left them on his desk and made his way towards Cissnei and the door. The mission wouldn’t take long if people were willing to cooperate, so Reno hoped that’s how things were going to be today…laid back, easy going and quick. As he stood by Cissnei he grinned at her. “You look very nice today.” He said sheepishly before changing his lame compliments over to a new subject. “Hey maybe today you can use those cool new moves I’ve been teaching you?” he said happily as he opened the door wide for Cissnei to head out first. No telling what you would run into today. Knowing Reno’s luck it was either going to be really easy, or really difficult. “Just remember to stay balanced and alert at all times…not that you aren’t already…” he said with a shrug going through the doorway and out to the hall ways now still grinning and having that sharp dressed man song stuck in his head…it was totally his theme music! “Did you get briefed on the mission? Or is that my job?” Reno asked glancing over at Cissnei with an eyebrow raised. “I read through all the files and got an idea of what we are supposed to do…it should be fairly easy if we don’t have any obstacles in our way…” of course no mission would be complete without a few obstacles and problems! It made things more difficult and more entertaining…it would give Reno a chance to show off his logic skills rather than all his lame jokes he had been cracking to Cissnei ever since she got back here. He wanted her to know that he wasn’t just funny…he was smart too…hence he was second in command of the Turks! It really was a good feeling…to have a title around work and some sort of authority. “The helicopter is stocked with anything we need and its ready to go…so say the word we can leave any time you are ready…” he said with a thumbs up and a wink in her direction, this would be fun…so long as they didn’t come across anymore shooting psychos like last time… Words: 793 Muse: Good Notes: <3

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none."
Cissnei couldn't help chuckling a bit when he straitened up his jacket a little bit. She raised her eyebrow but she had to agree, “Now that you mention it none I guess. And I like that song, you can keep singing if you want to.” Yawning, Cissnei motioned toward his coffee, “I'm ready as long as we can pick me up one of those on the way out. Mornings like this you need coffee.” She gave him a bright smile then though, Cissnei didn't want him thinking she was in a bad mood this morning, “I mean, just because its early, not because I'm in a bad mood or anything.” All she needed?
“I'm pretty sure I have what I need. Shuriken, gun, ID, a partner. Yup, I think I'm pretty much covered...except for the coffee of course.” Cissnei was usually the prepared one, she was actually surprised Reno had been ready before her, which was a shocker. It just went to show that when it came down to business, Reno rose to the challenge and did his job with precise accuracy. Which was of course why he was second in command. Cynical and joking, Cissnei knew he could be lazy sometimes, but that had always made her feel good, knowing that they could relax a bit and still be a Turk. Still, she didn't know if even Tseng could get more done when Reno set his mind to it, and he gave his all in missions. Made her feel safe. Cissnei watched with interest as he tried straitening up the files that had been left at his desk, she smiled when he just gave up and let them be messy on his desk. That was the Reno she knew and loved.
She looked nice? She glanced down at her suit and smiled at him, “Thanks.” Cissnei spoke that out just as shyly as he had to her, eyes downcast. A moment of silence before the subject was changed to a subject that was more on key and got her forgetting her shy moment. Back to business. Even though they kissed and shared that moment she was still shy about compliments. Clearing her throat a bit, she put a hand under her chin and crossed her other arm underneath to prop it up. “Yes, get some practice in on someone that isn't you. No having someone be easy on me.” With that she followed him out the door and nodded at his advice. Right now it wasn't boyfriend Reno talking to her, it was martial arts teacher, and she was listening attentively. Anything he told her she would file away in her brain to remember when she was actually fighting. She was a natural at it, and was advancing rapidly, but anything new she wanted to know. She nodded, “I'll remember.”
Cissnei glanced at him, “Tseng briefed me, but it was short because he got called away by Rufus. So I guess you can tell me a little bit more about whats going on.” Obstacles...of course there were going to be obstacles in their way, it was a mission. She just hoped it went as smoothly as possible, they could always call in Rude and Elena for backup if things got rough. They should be able to handle it though. They were Turks after all, whatever mission they were sent on they completed. It was just what they did. They didn't give up, they kept going until the job was done. “Lets just hope things go as smooth as possible.” She straitened her own suit and brushed the hair from her eyes, sweeping it behind her ear.
If the helicopter had everything they needed they should be fine. “Ok sounds good. If we can swing by so I can get some coffee I'll be good to go.” She smiled and gave him a thumbs up back. The wink made her want to blush, but thankfully she didn't and just smiled back, her eyes shining. She walked close and they walked in silence for a few minutes. “How long do you think this mission will take? Are we going to be over night or just a day? A week?”

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Reno rubbed the back of his head as she laughed a bit and stated that he could continue singing. THAT wasn’t going to happen. “Nah you don’t wanna hear me sing anymore than you already did…its like torture I think.” He said with a chuckle before looking at the coffee she motioned at. It was definitely one of those mornings, he simply grinned and nodded, picking up his coffee once more and taking another gulp full. “It’s alright, we can stop and get you some on our way out…” he said holding onto his empty coffee glass and almost wishing for more, the more energy the better. It was definitely…one of those days.
Well prepared…that wasn’t really Reno, but today he was! He was so dedicated to his work it was almost unreal, though he was more laid back than say…Tseng or Elena…but that was just him, he was a great worker, hence second in command. At least Cissnei was ready to go as well, then they could get outta here and get some work done. “Alright sounds good…except for the coffee…of course!” He chuckled a bit patting his coat just to make sure he had his mag rod and a gun he had purchased…some helpful advice from Zack…get another weapon. The Mag Rod wouldn’t hold up that great against some things, like those Cie’th things…those were a pain to deal with. So typically he got a gun, a good one too that he kept inside his jacket. It was nice to have more protection. And with that he grinned and headed out the door.
“Hey who said I have been going easy on you? Maybe you’re just getting so good that I can’t keep up.” Reno said with a bright smile as they walked down the hall, he knew as well as anyone that Cissnei was a great fighter, these lessons had just made her a little better. More ways to take down people, it was fantastic! And Reno couldn’t wait to see her in action when he wasn’t the one getting attacked. “You’ll do just fine I’m sure…that is if there’s any reason to use such wonderful skills…who knows…this mission may be easy.” He said with a shrug before stopping in a room, somewhat of a lounge and grabbing a coffee pot, pouring himself some in his little to-go mug and then pouring one for Cissnei and handing it to her. “A morning pick me up.” He grinned as he held it out to her with almost a sense of excitement to his voice. He was really ready to get out and kick some ARSE! Things had been so laid back lately, it was starting to get boring…
Reno nodded a bit at Cissnei. “Alright, well it’s very simple. We are basically going to find someone…Rufus wanted to talk business with this man but he wasn’t well…cooperating. So we go fetch him.” He said with a grin as they continued to walk. “They say this guy’s got security like no other…but we can take’em…Im sure that’s why we were assigned this, because we are excellent fighters.” He said with a small fist pump as he couldn’t wait to get started, he was almost like a kid in a candy store he was excited for missions all the time. “I’m sure things will go smooth…we’re Turks after all…excellent at our jobs.” He said with a confirming nod as they finally made their way to the helicopter platform area.
Opening the door and letting Cissnei go through, Reno sipped his coffee again before heading out himself. How long was this going to take…it all depended on who was willing to cooperate. “I honestly don’t know Ciss…no longer than a day or two…it depends on if we can actually find this guy and take care of his goonies quick enough.” He said stopping in front of the helicopter, his helicopter, his baby almost. He put so much work into this thing lately it was unreal. He opened the door and waited for Cissnei to go in first. “my guess is we’ll be done by the end of the day…if not sooner.” He said with a small shrug. “But then again…things could get rough and we might have to call for backup you never know these things.” He said before hopping into the chopper and placing those radio headphones on his head. “Ready?” he said with a smile on his face as he turned to face Cissnei, the helicopter roared to life and the propeller began to twirl fast, it was time to go…and Reno was so confident this would be easy…easy right, this was going to be far from easy.Words: 919 Muse: Good! Notes: RENO POST!!!! Gahh! let the epicness begin!

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." That inspired an eyebrow raise. “Torture? You didn't sound THAT bad. Of course...I didn't get the full version.” She said with a smile before he agreed to get coffee. “Good, I would have hated to use some of those awesome moves on you to make you stop and get me coffee.” She said shortly, only semi joking. She needed energy, her supply could only go for so long. So she eyed the empty coffee mug and smiled, with how little sleep she had been getting lately, she needed some coffee. Honestly Cissnei was glad she wasn't like she was when she had first started training for being a Turk. Somewhat of a realist, Cissnei had never been the happy go lucky make a joke out of everything type of girl. Actually, besides when she was with Reno, she was quite reserved, though her time in the regular world had helped her get a little affectionate with her thinking.
Raised in a harsh environment, she had been trained for hours on end to become a cold hearted fighter, someone that was dedicated and wouldn't back down. A perfect Turk. After finally becoming a Turk, Cissnei had been hard and callused, believing you made your own way in the world and that everyone had to pull themselves back up without the help of anyone. The Turks had stopped that way of thinking, gradually reforming her until she was a more caring individual. It had taken years, but she managed not to be as heartless as she had been before, though she did have her cold moments. Usually when she was interrogating someone. That was the reason she still made a good Turk, showing emotion at all times wasn't a good thing to do.
She smiled and shook her head, “Nobody did, but I assumed so since I've seen you in action.” It was true, Cissnei had seen him fight when his life depended on it and there was no way she could beat him. True, she was getting better. Maybe in a few years she could actually have a prayer against Reno. A good fighter, Cissnei had the acute sense of sight that she needed as well as the quick reflexes, all she needed was the knowledge, which Reno was providing. Cissnei did want to see how she did with someone that wasn't Reno though, because she knew if push came to shove that he wouldn't ever hurt her. That was something she didn't know from another person. “An easy mission? When has that ever happened?” She asked with a smile before walking down the hallway beside him. Cissnei reached for the mug and gave him a thankful look. “Thanks. If I wanted to stay awake and get in on the action I needed this.”
She was then briefed on the mission. It sounded relatively easy, no Sephiroth or Hojo included, so hopefully things went smoothly. Of course, they had to be prepared for the worst, but she hoped it was more of a routine mission. Then he had to go and mention security like none other, but of course, she was confident and because of that she wasn't to worried. They were excellent fighters! She had been raised with a weapon on hand, and somehow she didn't think reno was much different. He had been in ShinRa when she had first joined, he hadn't been old at all, but he was still third in command of the Turks. And of course after Vedot left he was second in command. “Ok, it doesn't sound like anything we can't handle.”
No longer then a day or two? That was good, long missions had a tendency to drag on for way to long. Being back on home base was like a grounding you needed. Of course she could run on very little sleep, especially when it was needed of her, but coming back to ShinRa and actually catching up on your sleep was a luxury. He opened the door for her and smiling, she climbed in and readjusted her suit. Just knowing that there was backup if needed was a good thing. He asked her if she was ready and lifting her coffee, she nodded. “Ready when you are boss.” He would probably appreciate the boss thing. She found herself wondering what his expression would be like if she called him coach again. Words: 845 Muse: good Notes: Reno and Cissnei = Epic win!

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Reno chuckled a bit. “You don’t want to hear the full various…trust me.” He said with a small nod as that song was now probably going to be stuck in his head for the rest of the day. That would be wonderful, trying to fight off people and in your mind you were singing ‘Sharp Dressed Man’ to yourself…that was going to be fun later. He shook his head some, as if shaking it would get the song out of his head, but still it was there, oh well, he was bound to get distracted now, so he’d wait it out and see what happened later. “You wouldn’t dare use any of those moves!” He said with a mock horror look on his face as he tried to look scared. “Between that and your almost perfect Rude scowls you’d be invincible!” he grinned now getting rid of that mock horror look on his face and replacing it with just…happy and relaxed. With Cissnei here, this was probably going to be a fun mission.
Reno was quite the fighter himself, he wasn’t heartless or emotionless, in fact he was quite full of them some days, but he knew when to unleash them and when to hold them back. Even if something didn’t feel right with him when it came to work…he had the best poker face of the bunch, except maybe Rude. He could hide away his emotions pretty well when it came to his job and getting it all done, that was a good thing about Reno. Another thing was his ability to actually get things taken care of, he was very dedicated and stuck with anything that was thrown at him and it always seemed to work out for him in the end. And last but not least, he could certainly take a punch. He knew how to fight well and how to defend himself, but when getting hit, he could take it rather well. He was no SOLDIER though, but still…pretty impressive for a cocky and egotistic guy like him.
With a chuckle and a grin, Reno rubbed the back of his neck some as he shook his head in response. “Alright I’ll give you that one…” he said sheepishly as they continued their way towards getting coffee then towards this mission. Okay, so Reno was going easy on Cissnei for awhile, but little by little he would make it more difficult, he couldn’t just attack her with the moves he knew…she would probably get hurt or something If he didn’t go easy on her. Besides, it was a good way to train, buff it up a little at a time and things will get more difficult little by little and soon Cissnei would just be used to it and not have to worry about getting flattened by Reno’s super cool moves. He simply shrugged at Cissnei’s question. “Anything is possible…though I doubt it will be that easy…” he said with a grin before she took the coffee and now everyone was happy. “Good, besides, I wouldn’t want this opportunity for you to try out those moves to go to waste…” he grinned before they started walking once more.
The mission altogether didn’t sound that hard, It was like a delivery, they fetch the guy and bring him back. No strings attached, there weren’t any side missions or anything with it. It was as simple as that. The only big worries was getting past security and any body guards this guy may have hired or something like that, it was only an assumption, nothing was really on the file about guards or anything, but it was a good guess to make. Reno wanted to be prepared for just about anything. “Yeah, like I said, it could be easy…” he shrugged a bit not really knowing any other assumptions to make about the mission, only time would tell.
After hopping into the helicopter, Reno fastened his seatbelt and got the headphones on, letting the chopper warm up a bit before Cissnei said she was ready to go. He grinned at her, the whole ‘boss’ thing made him think back to when she called him coach on accident, he would never forget that, or let her live it down, but for now he just grinned at her and nodded once acknowledging her response before grabbing the controls and lifting the helicopter into the air and sending it towards the city. As far as the files went from what Reno read, there was a warehouse down in the middle of Edge that had been abandoned, apparently that was where this guy had been staying, or hiding out lately. They’d check there first, and if it was nothing, then they’d have to go onto plan B. Which…Reno didn’t really have a Plan B at this point in time.Words: 903 Muse: GREAT! Notes: Ahhhhhhh!!!

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." “I don't? Ok maybe I'll wait until I can record it and send it to Rude.” The look on her face was pure evil with that. She had almost forgotten the Rude scowl, so she burst out in laughter and covered her mouth to end it before she got the whole snorting thing going on again. She definitely didn't want to do that. She had a tough girl reputation to uphold. “My Rude scowl can now be perfected since hes back again.” She said with a grin. They had both seen Rude since he came home from his mission a few days previous. Cissnei decided Reno was good for her, not only in the boyfriend way. When she was with people like Rude or Elena she withdrew more, was quieter and more serious but when she was with Reno she was happier, more outgoing and laughed.
Cissnei knew how Reno had gotten to the commanding position he was in, and it wasn't because of his lazy aspects or his cynicism. Though some might not have ever seen Reno when he was dead serious and in the heart of a mission, she had, and it was actually quite awe inspiring. Hard working and dedicated, when he got in a certain mood basically just stay out of his way. His temper would get the better of him at times, though it was rare, and he could surpass most of the Turks that had been in ShinRa, old or new. She had never been afraid of him like she had of Rude when she was younger, looking up to him as more of a role model, wanting to get stronger like he was. What was odd was that though he was only a few years older then she was, he had been in ShinRa for longer, and she had joined when barely older then a young girl, no more then 8 when she had started her training, though she had been older when she had finally become a Turk.
She hadn't been lying, she HAD seen him fighting, and knew of course that she was nowhere near as close as he was in fighting skills. Still, with long range weapons she might have an advantage, because she had trained her entire life in that aspect. Shurikens were her specialty, although she could use a variety of different weapons. As well as an expert marksman with a gun. She relied heavily on long range, having never been taught hand to hand combat until now, though she didn't know why, because she was a natural at it. Having Reno teach her made her excel quickly. The odd thing was that Cissnei already felt a lot stronger from the hours they had spent in the gym.
She smiled, “If it was easy they wouldn't be sending Turks. Easy is a job for the regular ShinRa members. Turks take care of everything no one else can.” She had a spring in her step as she walked down the hallway with him. She wore her promise ring on her right hand. At first she had wondered if she should wear it on missions, but she had decided to anyway. Anyone that took it would feel her wrath, she would just have to be careful with it. Cissnei felt empowered when Reno said she did a good job. For some reason she had always wanted to impress him, maybe it was because she had secretly always liked him, or possibly it was because she had always sought the approval of the Turk that she viewed as the strongest of ShinRa, a hero figure? Had she really viewed Reno as a hero figure?
Cissnei clicked her own seatbelt and sent Reno a nod that told him he was ready, but couldn't help get out of her serious mood when he grinned at her. Somehow she could never resist a smile from him, it was her weakness. Though Cissnei could pilot a helicopter, she had never been as good as Reno. Though she would do it, she would rather Reno flew. Besides, everyone in ShinRa knew how to drive almost any kind of vehicle there was. Motorcycle, helicopter, car, they could do it all, it was their training. Trained to be able to do almost anything they might come across on a mission. Putting on her headphones, she felt for her gun to reassure herself and then picked up her shuriken. Though she was getting much better at martial arts, she felt more confident with her shuriken, and kept it in case she needed the backup of her familiar weapon. Leaning forward and peering out the windshield, Cissnei adjusted the headphones and looked down at the people. Here went nothing...Somehow she knew it wouldn't be the greatest place. Probably some dark scary place where they didn't know of what was inside...of course..."So are we going to some abandoned building or something?" Why couldn't villains ever pick somewhere light and sunny to do all their evil deeds? That would be amazing... Words: 946 Muse: good! Notes: Always epic with these two!

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Reno looked over at Cissnei and the look she gave him…Evil. He blinked for a second and thought about it, she wouldn’t really do that sort of thing to Reno now would she? But then It came to him…she totally would. And Reno would probably do the same thing if he had the chance, he was going to have to watch what he did and said from now on just so she didn’t get anything to make him look THAT stupid and send it off to everyone. “I don’t think Rude would appreciate that…I mean, he doesn’t have hair, you want to take away his hearing too?” Reno said with a chuckle as he sort of felt a little bad for Rude being the topic of a lot of jokes, not that they weren’t funny, but, maybe they should pick on someone else. Nah Rude was always a good topic, it was all in good fun. “So now you’ll be able to kick peoples butts and scare them with your Rude scowl….bonus!”
Reno was always outgoing, sure he could put on a serious face for work and what not, but aside from that, he was pretty much nice to everyone. He thought of himself as everybody’s pal, well almost everybody. It’s not like he was going to go around making friends with Sephiroth or anything, he was having a hard time keeping Cloud from angsting at him as it was. Around ShinRa though, he practically knew everyone and respected them all, maybe he didn’t exactly talk to all of them all the time like he did with Rude and Cissnei, but he was still considering himself a friend to them anyways despite the lack of conversation. That’s just the way Reno was, outgoing and friendly…unless you did something to really anger him, then he wasn’t as friendly. With work it was easy to put on a poker face and forget your emotions…even for someone as high spirited as Reno.
“We’re just that awesome” Reno said with a wide grin as he nodded in agreement to her statement. The Turks were sort of a ‘last resort’, they were strong and very good at what they did, that was why there was only a select few for the job. “As they say, when the going gets tough…the tough get going…that’s us.” He said with a wink and a smile as they piled into his helicopter. It was sure to be tiring today, but Reno didn’t really know what to expect, you couldn’t plan people’s actions and you certainly couldn’t plan the difficulty of things you’ve never battled before, so this would be an interesting day. It would be nice to see what Cissnei had learned over the course of their few lessons. It would give Reno a good idea of where they really needed to practice too.
With the helicopter ready to go Reno let it take off and they started to travel to their destination. Reno hoped it was the right place to go and that this guy, whoever he was, hadn’t bailed already or something like that, otherwise it would just be a wild goose chase and those were never fun. “From the looks of it…yeah that sounds about right.” Reno said with a shrug, keeping his eyes in front of him, he had to pay attention carefully while piloting, especially since it wouldn’t take long to get to this building and Reno didn’t want to pass it and end up looking just as stupid as ever. “It always seems to be the same thing….dark buildings…and abandoned places….people need to get a grip and find someplace nice to go for once. It’d be a nice change for us that’s for sure.” He said with a grin on his face as his eyes cut downwards at the city below…traveling wouldn’t take long even with walking, but Reno loved the helicopter, it was his favorite way of transportation no matter how short or long the distance was.
Finally, Reno spotted the right building and started to land the chopper on its rooftop, as it laid down gently on the roof Reno was ready to get going, he cut the engine quickly and tossed his headphones off to the side before hopping out of the helicopter really fast. He seemed excited about this. A mission that didn’t involve sitting behind a desk and doing paperwork! Oh the fun! “Well…Let’s get this place checked out…if we don’t find anything, we’ll have to go back to headquarters and think of plan B.” he said walking over to a door that led down into the building, and shockingly it wasn’t locked. This was turning out to be easy so far, though they hadn’t even gotten to the fighting part…so who knew? Reno opened the door and stepped aside, once again, letting Cissnei go first since it was always ‘ladies first’. Words: 938 Muse: GREAT Notes: The beginning of the epicness!

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Bald and deaf? Ok she wasn't that heartless. “Alright then. How about Elena instead of Rude?” That would probably be worse in his eyes because Elena would probably come try to hurt him. Plus Elena seemed to be bothered by the whole funny guy thing. While it brought her out of her shell, it seemed to have the opposite effect on Elena. Tseng really needed to stop being blind and realize how much Elena liked him. She could imagine the look on Rude's face when he got the video though. Probably the same as it was all the time. Still, it would be funny, plus a recording of that for blackmail purposes of her own would be a good idea. You never knew when you might want blackmail over Reno!
Cissnei settled her earphones on and continued to look out the windshield even with them talking. She knew every part of Edge, so she knew where they were headed just by what route they took. Still, she had this feeling that it would be some dark creepy place in an location not usually used by anyone. Did it always have to be like that? She hated it when it was like that, and almost everything was dark and dim. Reno was just right, the Turks were awesome. “Though we're not messed with like SOLDIER was, we still kick butt. I think thats what always made us special. We aren't surgically enhanced and we're still a powerful organization.” Though they did go through intense training to become a Turk, usually Turk members were chosen, and it wasn't easy to get into ShinRa as a Turk.
She had been chosen by ShinRa when she was very young, younger then anyone else. Plus it helped that she was an orphan. ShinRa liked orphans because they didn't have so many family ties. She hadn't had anyone, so the transition to ShinRa had been relatively easy. That might be a reason she could be so heartless when it came to a mission or blackmail. Amazingly Reno could lighten up the mood even though they were talking about working with that wink of his. Part of Cissnei hoped the mission would be easy, while the other part of her wished she could see some action to test out her newly acquired martial arts skills.
He just had to go and crush her dreams that they might be going to a happy looking brightly lit place. “Why is the bad and evil theme always the same? What happened to pretty pink buildings with unicorns on them anyway?” She shook her head in disgust and looked down at the old building that they had to go infiltrate. With a mournful sigh Cissnei reached into her jacked and fingered her gun she had there. Always nice to have a little bit of extra power for a backup if her shuriken and martial arts failed. She had always taken a gun with her though, Tseng had instilled that into her. A gun gave you that backup, and often it had helped her on a mission that might have gone out of control.
She got herself prepared emotionally and physically as they started their decent. The only thing about a helicopter was that it really told people when the arrived, although they would know soon enough anyway. Pulling out her gun, as always, she checked the load and made sure it was ready to go. Putting her left hand over the top, she slid it back quickly and in a split second it was cocked and ready. It worked smoothly, so she uncocked it and slid it back into her suit. Smoothing her suit out, once she did you couldn't notice there was a gun hidden on her person.
When they landed Cissnei picked up her shuriken and jumped out just as quickly, landing on her feet swiftly and gracefully. Unlike Elena Cissnei had always been extremely graceful and never clumsy, sure of her body and where she was moving. Nodding, she didn't say anything much as Reno told her they would go back to ShinRa. What he decided she went with, not only because she trusted him, but because he was her superior and she respected his leadership and judgment. Yet while on a mission Cissnei didn't say much, her mind automatically going to mission mode, which meant she was serious and attentive, always checking her surroundings and waiting for the worst to happen.
Hefting up her shuriken, Cissnei paused for a second before glancing at Reno, smiling a bit and nodding sharply. Then she ducked quickly into the building and blinked her eyes rapidly to get used to the dark. Cissnei took a few quick steps to the right to put herself away from the light shining from the doorway and back into the shadows in case something attacked. Being a Turk meant being aware of what was happening around you, and Cissnei was always attentive. Crimson eyes glanced around at what she saw. The place was littered with junk, haphazardly placed in different places.
It was quiet though...what she had always classified as to quiet. Cissnei had a feeling...almost like they were being watched, and she didn't like it. Her eyes adjusted in a few seconds and she found she could see more then previously. Crimson eyes gazed around, first this way and then that, scanning...scanning, trying to find the source of her discomfort at the feeling someone was watching them. She shuddered too, the place was just how the evil villains lair was always depicted. Dark, disorganized and there was a random light flickering. All it lacked was the thunderstorm going on outside. Windows were boarded up except for a few and Cissnei glanced over at Reno before taking a few more steps further into the building. It seemed to be abandoned, but she still had that eerie feeling they were being watched. She glanced over at Reno, “It's to quiet Reno...” Shaking off the feeling as best she could, Cissnei headed over to where shelves stood up against the wall. Picking up an item, she studied the label. Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Ha, Cissnei was SO funny. Reno would much rather deafen Rude with his singing than send anything like that to Elena. The girl would probably murder him in his sleep one day. He prank called her quite a bit and was always so immature around her…she’d deal with it. He was the superior right? “I think we should just wait till the day a recording of me falls into your lap…then worry about who to send it to.” He said with a chuckle rubbing the back of his head and grinning widely at the thought of Rude getting a weird video of Reno signing…what would the poor guy do? Raise an eyebrow? Scowl? Or do nothing? It would probably be the last option knowing Rude, but still, who would want to torture someone with Reno’s singing? Or embarrass Reno like that? Cissnei would.
Over Edge, Reno knew the way perfectly, but the thing was, he hadn’t really explored every single place of Edge, so this was sort of a blind mission for him. He didn’t know what to expect on the inside of this place, he just hoped it wasn’t all dark and creepy with people jumping out of dark corners to ambush them, that would really be a bummer. But like she said, the Turks were special, they could handle a lot for being normal people…not enhanced or anything like SOLDIER was, they had the real power behind them. They had what it takes to survive anything. “You bet we are….we may not be enhanced or anything, but we still do a damn good job at what we do…” he said with a grin on his face as he confirmed his thought with a small nod. He was glad to be a Turk, it was as simple as that.
Reno couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows at her comment. Pink…and unicorns. What sort of villain would hide out in a place like that? Who would take them seriously? No one, perhaps that was why they preferred the dark scary places. Yeah that was probably it, though Reno was now hoping to see some guy one day living in a pink building with unicorns on it…that would definitely throw people off. “Just wait…now that you mentioned it…I’m sure it’ll happen one day.” He said with a shrug before all this attention was focused on landing the helicopter. Slowly and easily he rested it down on the rooftop before they bolted for the door. It seemed they were both anxious to get things done in a quick timely manner.
For once, Reno was pretty quiet himself, no need to ruin this whole thing and alert the people that they were there. Keep it quiet and sneak in under their noses, it would make things a little easier. As Cissnei started in, he looked inside and saw only darkness, but the form of shapes were starting to appear as his eyes adjusted from the light outside to the lack of it on the inside. It sort of gave Reno a creepy feeling, like someone just might pop out of nowhere and take one of them down, he felt a little bad as Cissnei had the lead, but he stuck close behind her, letting his eyes shift around looking for every detail of the room. It was really quiet he had to agree, and while she was over looking at materials on a shelf, Reno was just looking around the room, trying to look for any doorways to more rooms or something. “I don’t have a good feeling about this.” He whispered as the silence started to eat away at him, making his anxious and what not.
Reno wandered over towards Cissnei and stood back a few feet, looking at the shelves. It was covered with all sorts of glass bottles and what not, definitely a scientist or something. Great, this was lovely, for all they knew this could be Hojo’s long lost twin or something! He looked at some of the bottles and walked forward, reaching his arm out for one of them before realizing he had ran into a spider-web, and then he had a slight girl moment. He backed away shaking his head and then rubbing the sleeve of his jacket all over his face to get the web off before laughing silently and nervously as he reached for the bottle once again. Right before Reno’s hand got to the bottle it shattered with the sound of a gun going off. That definitely broke the silence.
Whipping around, Reno had a serious look on his face as he saw a mob of guys start heading towards him and Cissnei. He figured this was the right place to be then if there were a bunch of goonies coming after them. Reno had a grin on his face as he quickly glanced at Cissnei with a small nod telling her it was her time to shine now, to show off those moves they’d worked on. As Reno glanced back at the guards, he then ran forward into the bulk of the group, doing a roundhouse to get at least one of them down for the time being, but that was when he saw his target. A man in a white lab coat running off down an iron ladder that lead to lower floors, and Reno gritted his teeth starting to go after the man but thought back about Cissnei, he quickly turned around and looked at her, almost for guidance, did she need his help or was he free to run?Words:1027 Muse: GREAT! ...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." On to the creepy. If she could just relax and have fun talking to Reno forever she would be happy, but on a mission you had to leave behind the funny stuff and actually concentrate. Of course she would rather just joke around and have fun, but now she had become attentive and quiet as she did when she was on a mission. Cissnei didn't feel the slightest bit bad that she was on point. She didn't mind that position, actually she was good at it, but of course, out of them both Reno was better on the front position. Cissnei could handle her own though, and was ready for anything.
Shuriken was held in her left hand while she stood with her feet spread a bit more then normal, to get that balance if she needed it. The silence, though needed, was a bit creepy even for her. She couldn't even imagine how Reno was feeling as he liked to talk and be goofy. Sometimes just hearing yourself talk was better then the silence. When Reno finally spoke up it relaxed her a bit, although what he said put her on even more edge then she already was in. If Reno didn't have a good feeling, and she didn't...for some reason for a split second she felt like they weren't going to come out of this mission. Something...almost like some presence was here and wouldn't let them complete what they were sent out to do.
Trying to shake that feeling off wasn't really going anywhere either. But Cissnei couldn't let herself get drug down by that sensation in her stomach. They would make it out of this! She wouldn't allow anything to happen to them, and Reno wouldn't either. “Neither do I...but we almost never have a good feeling about missions.” A word of encouragement. It might have been just to keep the talking going. Like she had though previously, about how just hearing yourself talk could calm you down enough to think about the situation rationally instead of freaking about the creepy silence.
She was still examining the contents of the bottle when Reno came over to where she was standing. Cissnei glanced over her shoulder to make sure no one was coming before reading the label again. Narrowing her eyes, she tried to make out what the labels said through the dirt and grime. Definitely something you would have seen in a scientists lab though, of that she was confident. She felt a shudder at the memory of ShinRa scientists. Hojo had always been the worst, although Hollander hadn't exactly been a cool guy either. She just hoped this guy wasn't the nut job that Hojo was, because the mission would get ten times creepier. Cissnei suddenly became aware of Reno have a small spaz attack at something and then noticed the spider web. She bit back a laugh as she watched him with her crimson eyes and when he finally got himself under control she reached out to touch his arm. “You alright Reno?” her voice brimmed with laughter that wasn't easily controlled.
The funny moment was cut short as the bottle crashed from his hand. Cissnei pivoted on her heel and her shuriken was out in the same moment. Reno gave her a nod and she returned it...time to move. In the next moment she had sized up the men and decided exactly how she was going to proceed. Reno wadded in while Cissnei ran toward the side, twisted around and let her shuriken fly. It hit a man before embedded itself into the wall. Adrenalin made Cissnei's heartbeat quicken and while her shuriken was still airborne Cissnei was running toward the men. When she got near the one she jumped in the air and with her body twisting sideways, she hit one man in the side of the face with her foot, causing him to fall to the side. Landing gracefully back on her feet, Cissnei then proceeded to be nose to nose...ok more like nose to waist with another man. Propelling herself up again from the last move, Cissnei jumped and pushing off a man to the left, jumped up and with a somersault in midair, locked her arm around his neck and dragged him backwards to the floor, the pressure on his neck was put on the right place to cause unconsciousness or death.
He slumped to the ground and Cissnei rolled out from being crushed by his weight. Jumping up, Cissnei remembered to balance the weight between her two feet. A man came after her, the look on his face spoke loud and clear what he didn't say aloud. 'You'll be easy little girl.' “Tch.” She said and then he went to punch her. First off, who punched a girl anyway?! With one easy movement, Cissnei dropped her hand down and grabbed the guys wrist where the bone was. With a flick of her own wrist, his arm was straitened and bent backwards and she turned to bring her elbow down hard on his upper arm. He screamed as the bone snapped and flailed at her with his left arm. With an almost bored look, she turned her back to him and smashed him in the face with her elbow once again. She had been taught that the elbow was the hardest place in your body...use it. And so she did.
She caught sight of the man in the white lab coat the same time Reno did and when he started running after him Cissnei went over backwards in a series of flips until she was a bit away from the men. Reno turned back with an almost agonized look on his face and Cissnei reached for the shuriken that was embedded into the wall. “Reno! Go! I'll take care of these guys!” Two guys were down, one unconscious and the other with a broken arm and nose...she was pretty sure she could handle them. With a nod of her head in the direction the man had gone, Cissnei smiled at Reno, giving him a 'I've got this, go get our man.' sort of look.

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early This was definitely creepy, though Reno would never admit that, he just acted normal. Well…silently normal. Walking into this place, it wasn’t the scariest place he’d been to, but it sure wasn’t pretty. Crap all over the place and it totally screamed ‘GET OUT’, and as much as Reno would’ve liked to, there was a job to be done. As he looked around, standing in one spot with his hands in his pockets he let his eyes just scan the area. Turning in a full circle just to get the layout of the area. Of course the quiet didn’t really help the whole situation, all you could hear was the creaky floor under their feet and breathing. It was like a horror movie just waiting to happen, any second now some psycho killer would pop out and kill Reno while letting the pretty girl survive. Reno shuddered a bit at the thought before walking over to the shelves and having a minor spaz attack.
“This place is just…” Reno didn’t even finish, he didn’t feel like he had to. Cissnei was there, she could see for herself exactly what this place was like, and that’s all that mattered, either way it all ended up to be labeled as the same thing. Creepy. And someone needed to dust around here! Reno was wiping the spider web off his face when he heard Cissnei ask if he was okay. He dropped his arm and got most of the web off his face and just grinned a bit, despite the unlikely setting, Reno was indeed grinning. “Yeah I’m fine…” he said sheepishly before action started to take place, a shot, glass breaking, and some butts about to be kicked!
Reno was ready to go! And apparently Cissnei was too, seeing as they both leapt into action. Reno ran head on towards the group of guards, and Cissnei off to the side, it was easy to get through them, almost like a football play. You run and get blocked, you twist and ease your way through the crowd before you get that free field and run all the way back. Reno did just that, twisting and turning, pushing off of people to get through the crowd as he had started for that man in a lab coat. But his stop lost him a bit of yardage, so to speak. Cissnei was doing just fine on her own, taking down the men easily, and as she told him to go on, Reno just nodded back at her with a serious look on his face….twice in one day? Reno having a serious look wasn’t common, it just meant he was really determined right about now.
While running and skidding to an almost stop, Reno jumped and grabbed onto the sides of that iron ladder that lead down to the lower levels, and just let his body slide down the ladder, figuring it would take too long to climb all the way down. As he slid down, sure his hands burnt from the iron, but at least he gained some speed. Jumping down with a grunt he used his hand to balance himself as he hit the floor before shooting back up and running once again after the man in white. Reno was quick that was for sure, and he was gaining momentum and speed like a crazy person. Who would’ve thought that a lanky guy like Reno could do this much work? He didn’t get Second in Command for just standing around now did he? Nope. While continuing to gain some ground on this mysterious scientist guy, Reno pulled out a gun he had holstered into the inside of his jacket, he ran, aimed, and fired, just to get the guy down and what not. Reno slowed his pace as he shot the guy in the leg, it wouldn’t be hard to fix, but it certainly helped him out some.
As Reno slowed his pace to a walk, he put the gun back where it was once before in its holster and started chuckling a bit. “I’m not one for games…but tag….you’re it.” He said lifting the man up to his feet and keeping him upright. “Mr. President has been wanting to talk to you for some time…” Reno said now back to his serious tone, which was as rare as his serious facial expression. As Reno started to pull off that, cold, heartless, tough guy, he heard something in front of him…it sounded like machinery. He walked the scientist off to the side and sat him down on a box before tying up his hands and what not before going to search for this mysterious noise. “Been working on some weird project eh?” He said assuming this was something this guy had been hiding…but it wasn’t Reno just walked forward into blank darkness before the whole place was lit up with lights and the sound of loud machinery. This was not ordinary machine.
Reno covered his eyes with his sleeve and backed away a few steps before the light dimmed a bit and he could see straight now. This was a real living machine! He just sort of stood there in awe, looking at the thing before shoving his hands into his pockets and turning back to the scientist. “So…what is it…we gotta know what it is before ShinRa destroys it.” He said as a threat just to get the man talking, but he shook his head as if he didn’t know anything. Reno just sneered a bit before he heard gears grinding, turning his head some to see the machine out of the corners of his eyes, he saw something like a metal chain fly towards him, wrapping around his wrists then his ankles the thing shocked Reno and his face went all sorts of crazy. Eyes crossed and everything until it was like a power outage…and everything was dark once again, Reno had fallen to his hands and knees from such a shock and felt a unbearable burning on his right wrist…the underside of it. It was then he wondered if Cissnei had heard or seen anything from where she was…and if she was okay. Words: 1151 Muse: I think it exploded... ...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Cissnei caught the serious look and timed seemed to stop for a few seconds. Almost like a farewell partner, I'll see you on the other side. Although in this business there were no guarantees that you'd make it out alive. It was their moment of being more then just comrades though. Relationships often got in the way of your job, especially when you were a black ops, but they knew what they were doing. Still, nothing was forever. She tried to remind herself of that as he took off, for a few seconds she was just staring after him when something hit her in the stomach. She whipped her head around as she was thrown back against the shelves. “Ugh...” As she was thrown back her head hit hard and double vision was a problem. The human body could only take so much, but Cissnei had taken harder hits then that and come back up swinging.
Crimson eyes opened and she looked at the man that had kicked her. He was a big brawny man, with -of course- a slightly messed up looking face. Blinking rapidly, she tried to get her double vision to go away. A face loomed in front of her and her hand closed around air where before it had been clasped around her shuriken. Drawing her face back, a look of disgust crossed it. Her back was still digging into he shelves behind her. “Hey girly, I think you need punishment for bustin' up our help.”
Her face wrinkled up and her eyes narrowed slightly as she felt her arms being grasped and she was then roughly jerked to her feet. Cissnei had hit her head hard, but she still didn't like the hands on her arms. Yet she held her tongue and her body as relaxed as possible. If she fought to soon they would continue to have the advantage. So she bided her time as they dragged her over and propped her up against the wall, still holding her arms. Her head still swam but they seemed insistent on getting some answers. “Who are you?! And what are you doing here?” Cissnei simply stared back at him. He got angry then and raised his hand to hit her. When she felt the slap Cissnei didn't make a sound, simply turned her head back and looked at him again. Her lip bleed a little bit from where she had been slapped across the face. “I asked you a que-”
Cissnei cut him off, “I heard you the first time. Now your just making me angry.” With that Cissnei suddenly smashed her head into his face, which had been looming close to her own. He reeled back and Cissnei put her feet up against the wall behind her, propelling herself away and the hands that had been holding her loosened. Two men tried to tackle her and Cissnei did a flip before jumping up to grasp at a metal bar that had been there and kicking a man in the face as he came toward her. She jumped down with a flourish. Reno's training had really paid off. Turning back around, she roundhouse kicked another in the face and stepped back.
Straitening up, Cissnei brushed off her suit, “Really want some more boys?” Cracking her fingers, Cissnei loosened her neck up and watched them again. “Lets do this.” With that she ran at them again, ready for round two. With a kick to start it off, she went through a rapid chain of movement that left them all on the ground groaning in pain. “And that...is how its done boys.” She went around and checked them, they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. With a nod Cissnei glanced up and looked down the hallway Reno had chased after the guy with. Going to retrieve her shuriken from where it had slipped from her fingers, she picked it up and turned around, going to head in the direction Reno had gone.
Easier said then done. When she walked through the doors she was met with a spiderweb of hallways and turns. She stood there for a second and rubber her jaw where she had gotten slapped. It hurt a bit, but nothing she couldn't handle. She was proud of the progress she had made with her martial arts skills. But now...to find Reno. She doubted he had had a problem with the single man, knowing Reno it was all over and done with now, but why couldn't she find them? “Reno!” She called out softly, unsure of whether to call out again. They were still on a mission, which meant she had to be careful. Especially when it came to raising her voice. The men from before were done with now, but there could be more. Cissnei tasted the bit of blood that was still slowly dripping from her lip and raised her hand to blot it out. She began to worry about Reno then. Was he ok? Still alive? Of course he had to be alive! She needed to stop worrying!
Turning around for a second, Cissnei cleared her throat and wondered where to go next. Glancing down at her promise ring, she remembered the words Reno had spoken in here dream. "I told ya I'd always be there for you." She looked around and tried again. "Reno!" This time it was spoken a bit louder, trying to get his attention. What she didn't know was that as she stood there wondering what to do he was battling against the fal'cie and becoming a l'cie.

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Well whatever that machine was, it seemed to be powered down and dead, or something like that. Like it had blew a fuse or something. Reno just raised his brow, almost ignoring the burning on his wrist, taking it for whatever happened after you got electrocuted or something like that. He walked towards the machine and placed a hand on it. It was cold and metal and completely inactive. As Reno touched the metal piece of junk in front of him, a vision entered his head, as if he had blacked out. It was all really fuzzy and black and white, but there were a few distinct figures, like the ShinRa symbol…and people obviously. But then the ShinRa building in his vision had crumbled down and that was it. He blinked his eyes once and the vision was gone…only metal in his sight now. How weird. What a bust this was, after looking the machine over for a second he turned back and started walking back to the boxes he had sat the scientist.
That vision he had seen in his head, it made Reno wonder why he had seen that. Was it just a random thought that came to mind? No It couldn’t be, in fact his mind wasn’t even on ShinRa when he touched the metal machine…whatever it was. Back towards the boxes, Reno lifted the man up to his feet to ‘escort’ him back through the building and out, but first to find Cissnei. This place was huge so this would probably take a few minutes. He wandered aimlessly, tugging this scientist along like some dog on a leash as he kept his eyes wide open for Cissnei. He called out once. “Cissnei!?” But he knew she would be fine…perhaps. Maybe it would be a good idea to go check back where that fight had taken place. No, Reno knew she was fine! It was Cissnei after all…a great fighter with scary Rude scowls!
Walking on the lowest level wasn’t fun. There was junk all over the place and it only made things harder. Reno was sick of climbing over old boxes and stocks of things, he huffed an irritated breath as he found clear ground and stood there for a second, trying to figure out if he had gone in a circle or something, this was starting to irritate him a little. It would be nice to get out of here sometime soon! Where could Cissnei have gone off too? Was this place really that huge? Knowing Reno’s luck, it had 10 stories and was 1000 acres of land…that would suck. So this was going to be like a maze now…fun stuff. “This is not my day…” Reno said with a groan before finding a flight of stairs…a sign! He made his way up with the ‘wanted man’ until getting back to the top floor where he and Cissnei had started, she wasn’t around here…that was weird.
Reno had found his way back to the battle site, men lying on the ground in pain. It was a show of Cissnei’s good work and he grinned to himself. Those lessons probably did a little good here, and it just went to show how tough his girl really was…no one messed with her. Turning around away from the men Reno took a nearby piece of rope off one of the many shelves and tied the man he had captive up to a pipe that was showing in the walls. “You stay here…I catch you running off I’ll really be angry.” He said before walking off in the direction Cissnei had wandered off in…just looking for her again. “Cissnei?!” He called again before hearing his own name called out.
Running in the direction of the voice, though he didn’t have much to go off of, she had only said his name once, at least that he had heard and it wasn’t exactly a good way to pin point her location, so he just guessed. Going forward into more rooms and halls he started to job, calling her name out once more. “Cissnei are you there?!” He said before he burst through a set of doors…only to find a large storage room…a dead end. Reno sighed and pressed his hand to his forehead with a stressful sigh. As his hand was at his forehead, his sleeve dropped a bit, and he opened his eyes to so a black marking on the bottom side of his wrist. He pulled his hand away and pulled down his sleeve so the marking was shown all the way, his eyes widened and his mind instantly flickered back to a moment he had with Cloud Strife…Cloud had shown him his brand…and it looked like this…that meant only one thing.
Reno’s face read ‘utter horror’ as he realized what had happened. But…what was a fal’cie doing on Gaia?! Why was he a L’Cie! And his focus…oh dear god his focus! Was it to destroy ShinRa?! Was that what he saw? Reno had to get away from ShinRa before he did something even close to destroying it and the lives of those who depended on ShinRa. That was it, as hard as it may be, he was going to have to quit and get far away from that place. Reno panicked then and there…he turned around heading for the door before a sharp heating pain hit him in his wrist. His brand started glowing an orange color as he fell to one knee. Resisting the urge to yell or anything he just called out for Cissnei one more time, but this time it was a full blown yell, almost a call for help. “CISSNEI!” He yelled before all these weird diamond shaped markings appeared everywhere…something was coming…and he feared this was his end…what a way to go.words: 1082 muse: Good Tagged: Cissnei and....apparently sonny the clown!
