SaS continued walking down the road catching a glimpse of the hotel. Thank goodness was all he could think of after this long hassle of a day. He began to chuckle as he felt his calm and quiet personality return. He wouldn't stop opening up of course but he enjoyed this side of himself as well, it kept him alive all these years as he fought. Turning back he began to smirk as he lead the way and after some time passed they were both in front of the Inn. Realizing the situation that just happened he was curious as to what would happen next. He remembered what his sister told him about women as he began to rub his chin curiously. He had no major experience with women so he was unsure if this was a rude question to ask or not.
He was curious about her other words as well as he stared at the old looking inn they would be cleaning up in. It was fine that she was glad that he was opening up but he was wondering what that had to do with bravery? He was pretty sure facing down monsters and fearing nothing was bravery but then again he didn't know much of this societies mannerisms so perhaps it was different here. When she asked about what the plan was next he simply nodded and replied with," Find a bar. Find a job for me to do. Mercenary work." It wasn't the most glamorous job but it kept clothes on his back and food in his belly.
SaS then began to lower his hand as he decided to end his curiosity now. Turning to face Ariwara he began to look at her with the eyes of a curious boy. " So...since you took my first kiss......well.....uh..my sister told me when I was little that its important. So..does this make us....a couple? I don't mind of course but, I just don't know much about these things that's all." He spoke calmly but was very nervous yet curious on the inside.

Ari followed him, skipping along. Although she was a seventeen year old girl, at the moment she acted like a five year old. She was very happy, and felt very safe with the man. She wondered what he had in mind for the plan of what to do next. She continued to follow him, noticing that they were getting closer and closer to the inn. She then realized that she had no money for the inn, and she frowned. She stopped in her tracks, but decided that she would tell him when they got there. He seemed determined to get to the inn, and she knew that she couldn’t stop him even if she tried. She knew that he was too strong for her.
She almost ran into him when he stopped in front of the inn. She stopped too, frowning. She wasn’t sure why he had stopped, and why he hadn’t gone in. She decided to tell him about her problem. “Um, SaS, I have a dilemma…” She felt bad about not being able to pay for their room. She figured that she should at least do that. “I don’t have any money on me…” She looked at the ground, sad. She felt guilty that she couldn’t pay. She heard what he said about the plans and frowned again. She wasn’t sure how that would work seeing she was only seventeen and not old enough to work in a bar. “Um…I can’t work in a bar…I’m too young.” She looked at him. The mercenary work she could do, but if he wanted to work in a bar, then she would have to wait for him.
She wasn’t prepared for his final question. She did a double take, and turned bright red. She hadn’t expected him to ask that certain question. She wanted to say yes, but she wasn’t sure if it was too soon or not. His question both confused her and excited her. She fought in her mind, and finally came up with an answer. “That depends. Do you wish to be a couple? I mean, I would love to be a couple, but only if you want to. In a relationship, both must compromise.” She smiled at him. “I say yes. What do you say?” She waited for his answer.

SaS heard about the money dilemma and didn't seem to react that badly. He knew what it was like to have jack shit in terms of money and have to work your way up. Giving a smile he waved his hand slowly as he said," It's fine. I'll pay." And to be honest he had no problem mostly because his sister had taught him the importance of being something called a gentlemen...or whatever. Knowing how to behave was forced into his brain for years while living with his sister, aunt, and uncle so it was all there. The reason he was just never a gentlemen a lot on the outside was due to the dragon and his cold nature. When he heard her speak about the bar he shook his head slowly since she was misunderstanding. " No no. We just go their for information and jobs from other people...you can wait outside if you wish. I only go in them for a few minutes." He let out a small sigh hoping his explanation cleared everything up.
Hearing her words made him think he would be safe to do this. He had trusted her judgment by now and if she was okay with it he would be fine as well. " If Ari is fine with it....I am as well." He said slowly pushing his index fingers together nervously before turning to face her. His hand lifts up and gently rubs her ears affectionately as gives her a warm smile. He was going to trust for the first time in his laugh, and he was going to trust this girl: Ariwara Kaori.

Ari felt embarrassed by the fact that she had no money, but when she heard him say that he would pay for it, she smiled. She was glad that he was willing to pay for her, but she felt that in a relationship that they should alternate in who pays for everything. She guessed that she had better get used to it until she made some real money from a job that they were supposed to be getting after they cleaned up. She just hoped that they could actually find jobs, and good paying jobs at that. She sighed. She wondered where they were going to go first. She hoped that he had something in mind, because she didn’t.
She was relieved when she heard him explain. If it was cold out then she would go in with him, just so that she wouldn’t get sick. If not, then she would wait outside for him to be done. She didn’t want to jeopardize his chances of getting a job just because of her age. She would feel so guilty if that happened. She nodded at him. “Oh ok. That sounds good then.” She smiled, cocking her head in a cute way, her ears all the way up. She was happy, truly happy, both inside and out, and it was the first time that she had ever been truly happy.
She gasped at his answer, and then jumped for joy. She wanted to kiss him, but he suddenly rubbed her ears affectionately, and she giggled. She was ticklish there, but she liked it when he rubbed them. It felt good, and when he was done she flicked an ear. She then walked up to him, almost face to face with him. “I’m glad you decided to be with me. Although I just met you, I feel safe with you, and you make me happy. I think I made the right choice for my man.” She then kissed him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Given the fact that he was taller than she was, she had to stand on her tippy toes just to reach his mouth. She didn’t mind though. She was in love with the most handsome man in the world, and that was all she cared about.

SaS smiled as she began to jump for joy and was glad her ears weren't to sensitive. As she wrapped her arms around him he could feel her what was going to come next as he felt her lips press against his. This was his third...or maybe fourth kiss but he seemed to be getting the hang of it. This girl was something else and he would do what it takes to protect her. Pulling back he smiled as he turned," I'll go grab us a room real quick." " He said trying to hide the blush on his cheeks as he grabbed ahold of Ariwara's hand. He slowly lead the way into the inn. The design was rather old as he walked up to the desk. He got one room and was given a small key.
" Well then....let us head upstairs then." He smiled as he turned and began to head for the stairs as he made his way to the second floor. The room was the last door on the left and SaS quickly walked over to it and opened it up before stepping inside.

Ari giggled when he pulled away. He made her so happy. She couldn’t even express in words how happy she was at the moment. She was suddenly grabbed by him and was pulled into the inn. She squealed in surprise, but then giggled more as they entered the inn. She saw him blushing, and she thought that it was very cute. She loved it when he blushed. She wanted to pinch his cheeks and kiss him again, but she figured it would be both awkward and rude. She was not the man’s grandma. She watched as he was given a small key, and then smiled at him and nodded when he said to head upstairs.
She followed him upstairs, still holding his hand, and walked with him to the room. She let go when they got upstairs and waited for him to open the door. When he did, she walked in, and frowned. The room was quite small, and there was a huge problem. There was only one queen-sized bed. She turned around and looked at him, frowning. “Um, there’s a slight problem.” She then moved aside to show him the bed and also gestured to it. She wondered what they were going to do.
The thought of sleeping in the bed with him crossed her mind, and she was confused on what to think. She wasn’t sure if she liked the idea, or if she was just being naughty. She couldn’t decide, so she just went with naughty. Considering his age, and hers, it would be illegal anyway. Well, the dirty part that she was thinking about. She shook her head, trying to get rid of the naughty thoughts that were running through her mind at the moment. She did not want to go too far just yet.

SaS looked at the room and was happy to say it at least had a bed and a bathroom for cleaning up and resting. Considering what he paid this was a very good deal. That is, until Ariwara spoke about there being a problem and he looked confused. What was the problem, it was a rather large bed and they both could sleep with ease on it. Any and all thoughts about anything else never crossed his mind which was why he was confused. He didn't think there were any laws in this universe about such things anyway but his innocence about sex would make the point mute anyway. " What...is the problem? We both can fit in the bed and it looks comfy enough to sleep in." He asked in a confused manner as he tilted his head. Perhaps it was a girl thing about sleeping together in the same bed as a guy but SaS had done it before during his work as a mercenary so such things weren't a problem for him.
He considered getting another room for two or perhaps sleeping on the floor since he didn't want to make a big deal. He considered what his sister taught him and could only think of a few ideas to help with this. Well, he would try them momentarily but his goal right now was to understand why this room would be an issue. His stare became one of concern as he looked into Ariwara's eyes calmly.

Ari frowned. Apparently she wasn’t getting the message across. It was clear that he had never been in a relationship before. She was fine with it though. She was with the most handsome man on the planet, and she would do just about anything for him. She cocked her head in the cute way that she had, her ears up. She giggled and walked up to him, pecking him on the cheek. “Have you…have you ever heard of sex SaS?” She looked at him. She then shook her head. Who was she kidding? He’d never been in a relationship before, so how would he know? Then, she never knew. Maybe he was a good actor.
She walked over to the bed. “I’m…afraid that we’ll be tempted to…um…well…have sex in the bed if we sleep together, and considering our ages, if we were caught…” She left the sentence hanging. She figured he would put two and two together. If not…then she wouldn’t have a choice but to show him. She just hoped it wouldn’t have to come to that. She didn’t really want to anyway. She sat down on the bed, and laid back, turning on the tv. “So do you want the shower first or shall I?” She pulled down her short work skirt, but it just rode up again. She frowned, trying to fix it, and not getting anywhere.
She sat up, and then stood up. The skirt was giving her a wedgie, and she didn’t like it. She wanted to get it off, but she didn’t have any other clothes to change into. She turned to him. “Um, I have a favor to ask of you, and yet, I hate asking for it…I hate asking for anything…” She hated asking for anything, especially when she didn’t have money to pay for it. It embarrassed her, and when she got embarrassed, she turned red. She hated it, because then it drew attention to her, and then she got made fun of. Her ears drooped a little as she remembered being laughed at, and her tail lost its swish. She looked at the floor, folding her hands in a polite way.

He blinked as she brought up sex and he raised an eyebrow. Why did sex matter at the moment, it was purely for procreational purposes anyway." Yes...I know about sex. But I don't see how that matters."" He spoke softly as she went on to explain. Tempted to have sex? Why would they? And what would happen if they were even caught...the laws on Ivalice were lenient on the age for marriage and consent but he supposed that wasn't the case. " Well I can't speak for you but I have no need to have sex with you....I just wanna rest...I'm kinda lost on how the temptation would be there....sorry. Oh and being caught wouldn't matter...Ivalice has different laws than the universe of Earth." He said calmly before removing his jacket and weapons and placing them on the small table in the room.
Maybe this whole situation was a girl thing and he wasn't understanding enough. His sister told him not to think about sex only until he was married so he thought he did a good enough job not worrying about it, but the issue seemed so serious at the moment. He just wanted to take a nap really and was very confused as to how temptation would happen but he just decided to push it aside for now.
The question of her odd logic aside he had decided she could clean up first. He had no problem waiting and he could take care of some business as she showered. " You can go first...It's fine." He said calmly before noting that she was squirming around quite a bit. Blinking he brushed aside some of his hair before hearing her request, or at least the beginning of it. He had no problem with paying for something if that was the case since they were a couple and what not. " So what is the favor Ayami?" He asked in his usual calm tone.

She knew it would be pointless. She didn’t even know why she had bothered. She should have known that he wouldn’t understand about the temptation part. She sighed and shook her head. “Never mind then. Forget I said anything.” She never knew that this new universe had a name. She liked that name. It was unique and she had never heard of it before. She didn’t know what it meant, but she liked it anyway. She walked up and kissed him on the cheek.
She then backed away and looked at the floor, avoiding his gaze. It made her embarrassed to ask. “I need some new clothes…before I take a shower…this uniform is all I have…” She looked at him. She wanted to take a shower, but she couldn’t until she had some new clothes to change into. However, she didn’t have the money for it, and she didn’t know where to get new ones. She sat on the bed, putting her head in her hands. “I should have never come…”
She felt like it was all her fault. The car accident, the incident at the hospital, and now her clothes. She should have just left, but to be honest, she didn’t have anywhere else to go. If she didn’t stick with him, she’d be on the streets, and even with her powers, she wouldn’t even last a day by herself. She didn’t know what to do. Considering all of this, she started crying. She had no idea why she was crying, but the emotions had built up in her so much that she just broke down. She curled up into a little ball, her tail curled around her. Her body shook with sobs as she cried her eyes out.

SaS was unsure why but he felt bad that Ariwara was down. Why did she wish she should have never come? Did he do bad already? Was he supposed to understand what the problem was? What should he do!? These questions flooded his mind as she sat on the bed. Her tears began to flow as SaS took a step back and began to quickly think of his options. Wait...logic isn't gonna help me...fuck. Sis, what do I do? He asked before a flashback of sorts came to him. He remembered when he was younger and was scared of the dark...his sister...would help him feel safe with a hug. Wanting to calm down Ariwara and feel better he sat down next to her. Grabbing ahold of her shoulders to get her attention SaS spoke softly.
" I can buy some...it's fine." After the words left his mouth he moved in and wrapped his arms around her. His hands grabbing a hold of one another as he gave her a very big hug. Closing his eyes his head rested against hers as he began to blush due to the close contact. I hope this helps! He thought at his brilliant plan. He hoped his girlfriend would feel better after such a hug. She didn't need to feel bad, he had to take care of her until she could get a job and pull her weight anyway. SaS remained silent as he continued holding onto her his eyes shut tight as he hugged Ariwara. He hoped she would cheer up soon and understand everything would be fine, and that he had no problem paying for a few small things here and there.

Ari continued to cry, her body still shaking with sobs. She felt like such a bad girlfriend, and had second thoughts about their relationship. However, she shook her head, trying to get the thoughts to leave her head. There was nothing wrong with either of them, so their relationship was fine. She really didn’t know why she was crying, but it felt good to get it all out. She hated crying, as it showed weakness, and she hated being seen as weak. Considering her tiny frame, people always thought that she was fragile, and that she couldn’t do things for herself. It made her angry, and she always proved them wrong.
She felt him sit down on the bed next to her, and then he took her shoulders gently, she sniffled, trying to stop herself from crying, but she was failing. She looked at him to see what he had to say. She nodded when he told her that he could buy her some, but she still felt embarrassed even though he said he would buy them. She didn’t want him to pay for everything. That wasn’t how a relationship worked, and she knew it. She was surprised by his next move however, because she had never thought it would come from him.
He hugged her, and at first she was caught off guard, due to the fact that she hadn’t seen it coming, even though she should have. She clung to him, burying her face in his chest, her body shaking with sobs. She didn’t let go of him. She felt safe with him, and warm, too. “I-I’m sorry…” Her voice was soft and shaky. She wanted to stop crying, but for some reason she couldn’t.
