The cry of incoming gullwings echo along the coast as the afternoon sun shined down upon the open beach and wooden dock. It wasn't as busy as one would expect, since it was somewhat of a holiday and no one was making shipments or doing anything for that moment. Even if they were, it would be more than just wooden ships within use. Since the start of the Eternal Calm, the use of machina had become more vast within Spira. Although, while some areas embraced the revival of the ancient technology openly, there were still places like Besaid that limited their use and preferred human labor. Control was always key. This didn't just involve the use of machines, but in everything. Yuna was well aware of that now, though a few years ago she hadn't. Walking along the shore, her long braid of hair dangling inches away from the ground, the young female looked out across the ocean and smiled contently to herself. Things had been so quiet, peaceful. There were minor issues, but nothing serious or anything that people didn't want to involve her in. Yuna almost would say that the peace was a little unsettling. It just makes me worry....What lies ahead.. |

Tidus had woken up from his sleep in a hut in the village he walked out and looked around seeing if he would spot Yuna. He approached an villager and asked. "Do you know where Yuna is?The person nodded and pointed towards the beach path out of the village. "Thank you." As he started to walk. As soon he made to the beach by the entrance area, he could see Yuna nearby the beach shoreline.
"With the sun looking pretty with the ocean, it even made Yuna look pretty herself with the scenery.Tidus couldn't take his eyes off her as he placed his arms on the side of his hips and smiled. He looked further in the ocean seeing gullwings as he didn't give it no attention. He didn't want to scare Yuna by walking up to her so from where he was at, he started to whistle to get her attention before walking towards her.
Tidus knows that she remembered that no problem as he taught her before if she need him if she was ever in danger or trouble. He stood where he was and waved his hand to her. As he started to walk towards her. He put on hand behind his head scratching as he was talking to her. "Hi Yuna." As he put his other hand behind his head looking towards the ocean just like she was.
"You know, it looks nice to be out here away from the village and have some relaxing time." as he continued to look forward. "Yuna after your trip, you changed."he said as he smiled letting the breeze hit his face as his eyes were closing trying to enjoy it.

The sudden whistle caused a gasp to escape from the young woman, but her surprise was quickly replaced by a smile as she turned to the direction of the sound. There were a select few that she considered close to her, but only one could get her attention with a simple whistle and for good reason. Yuna placed her hands behind her back and smiled as the blitzball made his approach. So much had happened, and yet Tidus was exactly the same. He still had that care free air about him. The one that seemed to have changed was her, though she didn't think it was too drastic. But everyone seemed to notice it, even Tidus. "Really? Maybe its the outfit?"Yuna laughed lightly as she knew it was more than just an outer change. There was a time when Yuna felt trapped, unable to speak her mind because of her duty to the people. But her pilgrimage, meeting Tidus, it allowed her to open up. Her adventure to find Tidus had been a clear proof of just how important he was to her and how she couldn't see herself living without him. Though what was next for them was still something either of them had the courage to speak about, at least she didn't. Turning her gaze back towards the water, she rested the side of her head on her left shoulder, hands still firmly placed behind her. He was right, it was nice to be away from the village and just enjoy the peace. She was somewhat of a celebrity, so it was hard to really slow down. Though the lack of problems in Spira helped greatly, she was still a High Summoner, the only one to ever survive after bringing the Calm. Another thing that she greatly owned to her friends. |

Tidus opened his eyes looking back at Yuna. "Outfit? Yeah besides that it's more revealing? I'm just happy to see the same Yuna I met years ago."He said as he had little flashback during they're times. He even remembered how he would get when she was around Seymour before he was evil. He still would kick his butt over and over again. Tidus even remembered that she was half Al bhed.
Tidus could careless but, so much Wakka had to say. Atleast he accepted it and even named his kid an Al bhed name. Whenever he was around her, Tidus could tell Yuna anything. He was shocked when she believed that his father was Jecht as others thought he was crazy. Til the truth hit everyone in the face and from the beginning till, she still believed him. He loved how Yuna was kind-hearted, loyal, honest and polite. But within the years, she was worldly-wise and quite playful. She even had such an attitude about herself.
Tidus looked at Yuna noticing something was bothering her but didn't really know. He did a diving position before he jumped in the air and backstroked with his head up. "You know, your not good at hiding something that's disrupting you."He said as he continued to swim enjoying the day. "Whatever is bothering you, let me know so it will bother me. We'll be bothered together. Until I think of a way to fix it that is!"He said as he had his head up with his body up as he give a fist above the water.
"Can't hide something that's bad forever. Just, got you to you know, face it head on!" As he dived in deep in the water then came back up the surface with his hair wet as he shakes it playfully. "You still got to tell me about your "Story" While I was away. I want to hear." Showing interest on her journey with her cousin, Rikku and the new girl, Paine. He got some tiny droplets of water with his hands and sprinkled it at Yuna. How couldn't Tidus not do that, I mean, she did look cute like she always have been.

Watching as Tidus dived into the water, Yuna sat herself down upon the beach and smiled as she listened to him. He seemed to think she was still the same girl from before, and that was nice to hear. Though she began to wonder if he was right about the outfit being more revealing. She thought it was more simplistic compared to her summoner's robe. But considering how many outfits she had to choose from, she liked this one the best. It was more freeing and it held a piece of Tidus in the symbol of the Zanarkand Abes, something that she thought made it all the more lovely. It was what the outfit represented that caught her interest, a carefree change.
It was in the midst of her thoughts that she heard Tidus ask her what was the matter. This caused a blank expression to appear for a moment, though it faded as he explained that she was never good at hiding things. That was true, because she rarely could hide anything from anyone. But Tidus seemed to be able to catch her inner thoughts faster than everyone else. Her face could never lie, just like she couldn't really lie either. Yuna was always honest, but she did keep alot to herself if she could manage.
As she continued to listen, she flinched and giggled lightly as she felt the driplets of water fly towards her. Pushing herself up to her former sitting position, she rested her hands behind her back as she arched her spine so that she was looking towards the sky.
"I've....just had a strange feeling that something is wrong....Its faint...but I don't know what to make of it. It might be nothing at all..."

Couple kicks with his legs in the water was moving Tidus back as he floated his body. He on purpose, down down in the water holding his breath just looking as the school of fishes pass him by. As they did that, they startled him in wanting some air as he rush to the top of the ocean and grasp for some air. He sighed as he swim back to the shore of the beach. Once there, Tidus shaked his hair towards the ocean giving whatever water back into it as he didn't want to shake around Yuna.
"Yeah! That felt so good." He smiled with face showing an happy impression as he laughed. He stretched afterwards then walked towards Yuna while she was laying down. He was looking at her while her of him was upside down admiring her eyes. Then went next by her with some space laying down as well thinking about what she had said. "Yuna you shouldn't worry, til it comes atleast." He looked in the sky as well pausing for a bit before talking some more. "Even though I can't sense nothing, I know your right about something that's not good that's coming soon.
He gave a distress look on his face as he know that what she can sense herself was right. He knew it wasn't nothing. She probably didn't want Tidus to even be concern about it. Too late he now was. If she thought of fixing this on her own in her mind, Tidus wasn't let that type of work being left to her. He got back up swiping off any sand that was on him as well shaking some off his shoes.
He step away and took out his sword and start swing it around. Then looked back at Yuna. "Whoever does comes, let them try to get through me or you! One of us or both, will make it's day! So Yuna, you don't had to worry. With you gotten stronger and all on your journey with Rikku and Paine, I'm sure you can beat it." Tidus smiled giving her a thumbs up as he stick his sword down.

Tidus always seemed to have so much energy. It was almost as if he couldn't really sit still for too long without moving. Yuna just listened and smiled as she sat herself back up as she watched him strike a pose. He seemed to believe in her, thinking that she had gotten stronger in her own travels. If she had, she really didn't think it was by much. If anything, the girl had simply learned some new tricks.
But the young hero was right. Yuna didn't know what the threat was, so she couldn't really do anything to stop it. If she just worried about it, it would just upset her friends and that was the last thing she wanted to do. With all the things that happened around her, being a burden like she had been before wasn't a status she wanted to revisit.
"But you're right...I shouldn't worry about it if it hasn't happened. It might not ever happen.."
Standing up to her feet, Yuna walked towards Tidus as she nudged him gently with the side of her hip. Turning herself around so that she was facing the ocean, she then pulled out her Tiny Bee pistols, twirled them between her fingers before setting them down on both side of her. From there, she extended her arm out as she pointed towards the beach.
"How about you show me how the star of the Zanarker Abes plays Blitzball against an up and coming star?"
She really didn't think she had much of a chance against him, but if it would keep her mind off whatever it was she was feeling, Yuna would do anything. Yuna didn't want to spend this time with Tidus worrying, she wanted to be with him, to have fun with him.

Tidus was all the time full of energy. Going against an enemy or just being his naturally self. It was one loud trait of his being energetic. He was just full of life that's all. Tidus did smiled at her when she said she didn't have to be worried. He did it whatever she sense, in his head. She could be right that whatever might not happen but, if it does, he'll made sure to fight and defend Yuna.
He wouldn't forgive himself if something bad should happen. He wants her to be happy without any more problems that would worried her so. She should live her life to the fullest. Tidus thought she is something special to be with. Nothing could be better than being with her on a nice scene that is. As she nudged him, he looked at her with a what look with his mouth opened looking at the beach were she pointed then back at her. Nice guns Yuna!" As they looked awesome on her as well, seeing her twirling them with ease as his eyes opened wide in a wow look as he was amazed.
He never seen anyone do that before in his life. He cheered for Yuna as he thought it was awesome. "Teach me that sometime!?"He asked then he hit his head. "Eh...Forgot that."He said scratching the back of his head smiling a bit as he got embarrassed with his face being red. As he didn't use guns at all. Saying that under excitement got the best of him.
When she mention about Blitzball, his face lighten up. He didn't think she would play blitzball only to remember of a promise he made to her as she would watch him at his game of the Zanarkand Abes team. He remembered the only thing close to blitzball that she probably know was him doing his father's move, the Jecht Shot on the boat of her summoner days.
"Oh yeah? Your on!"He said found a blitzball not too far as he went to get it and handed to Yuna. Let's see what you got." As he let her start with it to give her an advantage who knows, with that she just might beat Tidus. He was gonna go easy on her as he wanted her win actually. If she was someone else, Tidus would go all out defeating them with a fast Jecht Shot.

Taking the ball in hand, Yuna smiled as she nodded before taking off into towards the water. As she moved further into its depths, she disappeared under the surface and began to swim deeper to allow more space for them to proceed. She recalled some of what Tidus had told her about the game, and also what she had learned during his disappearance. This was mostly thanks to Brother, who happened to be a decent player in his own right.
Sadly, it had really only been a listening experience. Yuna hadn't actually gotten a chance to practice due to her own adventure. But now seemed to be a better time than any to see if she could perform the sport properly. If not, then at least she was trying to.
Keeping herself from sinking, she slowly kicked her legs back and forth as she waited for Tidus to join her.

Tidus looked on as she went into the ocean. He felt happy that she had that adventure with Rikku and Paine. It seem she really enjoyed the time going out more into the world exploring. He want her to be happy always. she seems like she's living her life to the fullest. "Hey! Wait up!"Tidus shouted happily as he run towards in the ocean as well.
As soon he was in, he swim left to right. He went down deep then fast as he can, swim back up shooting out of the water as some were dripping of him as he kicked up with his right leg and flipped over back into the water. He scratched his head while he was in looking at Yuna. "Haha that was practice."He said. He did gave a thought about teaching Yuna the Jecht Shot. He didn't know if she wanted to actually learn it or not so he didn't ask her.
He keep his eyes on her with the ball in her hands. He swim in position with his limbs so he wouldn't drown. Yuna playing Blitzball was something new. Blitzball was a nice sport to play. Just was crazy when teams battle each other for the trophy of course. Tidus thought maybe he could show her a thing or two since he was a star player himself for his own team.

Yuna watched the display and giggled within the water as she held one hand to her face while the other kept the ball tight under her arm. Tidus hadn't lost his ability to play, that was clear. But then, he was a star athlete after all. So the chances of him becoming rusty were pretty slim. Still, this wasn't a competition. This was simply for fun.
"Not bad...."
It wouldn't be the first time she had handled a blitzball, while it would be one of the few select moments that Yuna played. Wakka, her oldest friend and former guardian, showed her some of the basics as well. But still, it was a lot different when you were actually in the water. The controlling yourself and your movement was pretty difficult.
Reeling her arm back, Yuna threw the ball with as much strength as possible, attempting to get it past Tidus. Though after doing so, the young girl found herself flipping forwards in till she repositioned herself upright again.

Tidus started to get ready as he shaked his body within the water. He could already feel that it would bring back some memories. He looked at Yuna showing a thumbs up sign as he was getting into stance. He give a smile with a laugh afterwards when she said not bad. She was right though. He did that for fun as it was a pretty day to do so.
While he had his arms on his side he saw her movement on knocking the ball fast in the water gliding through. From his view, she hit that ball pretty good as it was soaring passing his head as he didn't had enough time to move his arms up that high. As he turned his head seeing the ball going but more slowly now, he went after it while swimming with his legs. "I should of had my arms out."As he got the ball, he swim back to where he was.
He thought that he should get more alert before she even's get's more chances to beat him like that. Without being on guard. He tossed the ball back at her as he let it go then kicked it average speed as a normal blitzball player does. Watching to see what she would do. As he was watching on.

Yuna was completely surprised by the small success she had in getting her shot passed Tidus. In truth, she hadn't expected it to get too far. But still, the sight alone was enough to cause her to smile as she waited for the young man to return from his retrieval of their blitzball. Though as she watched him, she looked over her shoulder as a noise seemed to come from behind her. At least, that was what it seemed, for nothing was there.
Hmm...Maybe its nothing?
The girl blinked before swimming up somewhat as Tidus returned. Though when he kicked the ball, she found herself unable to reach out and grab it. Instead, it sped by before slowly sinking to the ocean floor. Looking back towards the blitzball star, Yuna giggled as she began to go after it. But as she drew closer, she notice a pair of red eyes watching her from a distance. Then the first set was doubled by another, and then a third. By then she was looking at 6 small red eyes, and that was enough to cause her to retract somewhat within the water.
Within moments, the creatures swam out from their cover, revealing themselves as Sahagin. The monsters hissed as they moved around her, causing Yuna to stare at them with concern. They usually weren't much of problem, the only thing was that she had left her pistols on the beach. Meaning she had nothing to defend herself.

Tidus saw Yuna went far away from where she was at getting the ball. "I guess I knocked it a bit far."As he looked down rubbing his hair and looking back up. He saw Yuna staying where she was. This made Tidus think was she ok? When he saw Sahagins appeared swirling around her.
The last time he had saw them was when he was fighting them in the sphere with Wakka in that Blitzball tournament when Sin showed up. Tidus swam towards her as fast as he can encoutering one infront of him. He was worried for Yuna as he left his sword on the beach as well. He took the time and activated Haste upon Yuna. Tidus tackle the one infront of him into the others.
Once they were off guard from that, he made a hand sign for Yuna to go to the beach. As soon he would meet her there. To be honest, he didn't know if she was gonna or not. But, He wanted Yuna to be safety as he swam around them getting there attention on him and not her. He put his hands into a fist and prepared for himself as he was gonna take several hits before dealing them out of this.
Tidus saw the blitzball on the floor of the sea and dive to get it. He had it in his hands as he could use the ball to defend himself and yuna against them doing more damage then his bare hands. Tidus swim in place looking around at each Sahagin waiting for one of them to make there move so he would make his own as well.

Yuna watched as Tidus came to her aid, looking at him with a shocked expression while he signaled her to head to the surface. She didn't want to do it though. After all, she saw three hungry monsters ready to attack. If she left him alone, they might overwhelm in. But if she stayed, she risked his safety even more. With that, she took off towards the surface, swimming as fast as her legs would take her.

Once breaking the water's surface, she began to propel herself to the beach. She had to get their weapons.
