Cloud Strife   
Nightmares become real...
Love remains the same....
But soon everything will disappear....
All because of me....
Despite him becoming a l'Cie....Cloud was going to make the most of his life. And he was going to start that with Tifa. He was planning on a get away trip with her. But where to go? He wanted to talk to her about it. It was an early morning. Cloud knew that Tifa would be to busy with the customers....To even pay him any attention. So he spent the day up in his room...He promised Tifa he would not leave her unless it was working. He would stay there and he would go to her if he ever had a problem with his brand. She knew all about him now. He did feel better that she knew he was a l'Cie....But he was still scared about it. He had not found any thing about it on the internet... And that's what he would basically do all day when he was home. Was to stay on his computer so Tifa could handle the customers....He knew she had to work to. So he decided he wouldn't bother her until the bar was closed for the night.But he wanted to plan this vacation the right way. So what he did was, he got up very early in the morning and bought all the things he needed for the romantic supper he had planned for her....And just kept quiet about it while she was working. He was happy that he had made enough money to go away with her some where all a lone. They really needed a vacation. They needed to be by them selves for a while and just talk about things they couldn't normally talk about.... Finally 6 PM! The bar would be closing soon....And Cloud walked down to the bar as he saw one of the customers leaving....The last one for the night. He found Tifa washing dishes as usual.....He snuck up from behind her and wrapped his arms around her from behind to where his hands were hugging her stomach....As he pulled her into a hug....And kissed her neck softly.... "Hey beautiful...." He whispered softly in her ear.....

It has been a long hectic day for Tifa. She hasn't stopped to rest for the day didn't see Cloud around so Tifa assumed he left for a few hours. She knew he wouldn't be gone long Cloud promised he wouldn't do that, not again and this time she believed that. Just that thought helped Tifa keep her smile for the rest of the day till finally it was closing time.
Tifa made sure everyone left even the drunken customers before turning the open sign on the door to closed and locking the door. "Finally...." She sighed but the day was still not over. Tifa had to finish cleaning the bar before she could rest. She thought it was best to start with the dishes and walked to the sink.
Tifa stood there for a few minutes before she felt hands wrap around her and lips on her skin. She then heard his voice. "Cloud..." Tifa whispered his name before turning her head slightly to meet his eyes and gaze into them.

"Cloud..." He smiled sweetly as she turned around to meet him and look into his Mako blue eyes....It was amazing that she was still here and still was in love with him even now that he was a l'Cie that didn't seem to mind to her. All Cloud saw was that she was so in love with him. "Long day?" He asked as kept his gaze into her eyes and had his arms wrapped around her waist.....Should he tell her about the night mare he had last night? No, he wouldn't bring that up to her right now. They had everything going so well, he couldn't burden her with more of his troubles. She already was too worried about the whole l'Cie thing.... Cloud brushed a strand of her long hair off her cheek then. He smiled more then. He had planned some thing for just the two of them and not another minute would be wasted....He was ready to tell her about his surprise.... "I have a surprise for you....."

Tifa stopped washing the dishes and turned around to face Cloud. As she placed the plates in her hands gently down. “Yeah…. Very long day… but its still not over I need to clean this place before considering about the thought of resting….”
She said turning to gaze into his mako blue eyes. Soon a smile spread across her lips as she smiled at Cloud. “What about you….? How was your day?” She asked before turning to the dishes thinking of finishing.
Cloud’s hands still remained wrapped around her and she smiled at the thought of knowing he was close to where she was. “Hm….?” She asked tilting her head as she turned fully in his arms to gaze deeply into his eyes. “A surprise…. What’s that?”

“Yeah…. Very long day… but its still not over I need to clean this place before considering about the thought of resting….” “What about you….? How was your day?” "It was okay I guess...I stayed clear of the customers.....And just got some computer work done....But other than that.....It was okay I guess..."Cloud smiled bigger when she turned around to face him... “A surprise…. What’s that?” "Hmmm....Maybe a little dinner first....?" He then leaned his fore head on hers....He really needed a vacation....He was basically physical and emotionally exhausted.....Tifa had to had notice his condition as well....This whole L'Cie thing.....Has just had him more tired than usual....But he still managed to get the things done he needed to get done.....Like work....But starting right now, he wouldn't have to worry about work even....Cause he asked a friend to fill in for him for the latest deliveries....Cloud exhaled as he placed his palms on her arms and rubbed them down....As he grabbed both her hands in hers..... "I sent the kids to stay with neighbors for a week....So we can have some time alone....And just relax....."

"Hm..... and here I thought you were working late....." Tifa replied with a wide smile as she glazed deep into his mako blue eyes. at first it was hard to open up to Cloud but with some time things got easier especially after they both confessed their feelings. Now that there was nothing holding them back she hoped they could both move forward.
"Dinner....? Alright Cloud what are you planning?" Tifa asked with a chuckle as she leaned up to give him a kiss on the cheeks before turning to glance at the dishes in the sink. She was about to finish cleaning when another reply came from Cloud and Tifa turned fully once again to face him with that smile still spread across her lips. "you did.... well I think that's alright what did you have in mind?" She asked tilting her head with the reply.

"Hm..... and here I thought you were working late....." "Dinner....? Alright Cloud what are you planning?" "You did.... well I think that's alright what did you have in mind?" "HM.....Okay, I can't stand it any longer.....Are you ready for a vacation darling? And before you start pointing out all the cons in this....I'm just gonna tell you starting off we need a vacation....And since I'm a l'Cie now...We need all the relaxing we can get don't we....?" He grabbed a hold of her hands then in his....He smiled and blushed when she kissed his cheek and he spotted her looking over his shoulder at the dishes....He sighed.... "Don't worry about the dishes for at least a little while huh? I wanna make you some dinner first...." He was waiting for her to raise her eye brow at that....And say that he didn't know how to cook...But she was wrong....He knew how to cook noodles and make the sauce with the help from Marlene.... Cloud sighed though....He didn't want her to have any thing to do with her cleaning any more. But would she stop for a minute to just spend time with him....? It was hard to spend time with her on his part. He needed to have some time with her. And this was the perfect opportunity to do just that....Did it ever occur to her that he was the bad guy now....? Wait, that might be why she was ignoring him....He was indeed the bad guy here.....But, she knew him more than any other person ever could....Even more than Zack....So maybe that wasn't it.... "Tifa....Are you avoiding me...." He asked as he looked down scared of what she might say....

"A vacation...." Tifa paused not sure about this idea. It sounded great and she was sure she needed one as well, but what about the bar? She just couldn't close everything and leave. The costumers wouldn't be happy. "I don't know Cloud" she replied with a sigh. "I know we need a vacation but what about the bar..... if we leave we will have to close the place at least for a few days....."
Then came the words that Cloud would cook for her and a chuckle escaped Tifa's lips. Was he serious did Cloud really know how to cook? Her smile widened as she gazed deeply into his mako blue eyes. "Your just full of surprises Cloud..... when did you learn how to cook?" She asked obviously amazed that he knew.
Tifa's eyes caught the dishes again she still had cleaning to do and putting that of even for a few minutes. She always liked to finish everything on Tife despite her health, but what came next was a question she didn't expect. "Cloud...." She gasped slightly as he uttered the words avoiding me and then looked down.
'How could he say or even think that.....' Tifa wondered as she thought if she did something wrong to show that. Then she noticed his arms were still around her and smiled. She wondered if he needed more proof than that. "Well if I was I wouldn't be standing here with your arms around me now would I?" Tifa asked as she placed a hand on his chin to lift his head till his gaze meet hers and she smiled.

Tifa smiled seeing Cloud relax like that calmed her down as well. She smiled taking his hand as he led her to a chair to sit. “Cloud…” She replied his name in almost a whisper as she took a glass of wine.
She even forgot about work as she looked at the one she loved. She was glad things worked for them, it seemed like everything changed between them. It was hard for Tifa to even believe that this was Cloud, it was like a different person who she fell in love with all over again.
“Wait a vacation…. I don’t know Cloud…. I would love to go on a vacation with you…. One for just the two of us but what about the bar…. Even if we stay here we will have to close the bar….” Tifa paused before turning to look back at Cloud.

What Cloud said really got to Tifa. She didn't know he wanted to go and enjoy his time with her. She listened to his words and senses there was something else bothering him, the thought that he might not come back after completing his focus. Listening to his words and the tone of his voice hurt her more than she thought possible, but Tifa fought to prevent them from falling.
'Now wasn't the time....' She thought to remind herself she needed to be strong for Cloud. She wanted to say something anything to calm him down. She knew he thought he wouldn't come back after her focus was complete and he would have to destroy Gaia and kill her in the process. Tears whelped up in her eyes at the thought as she got up but before she could do anything else Cloud spoke again and this time his words shattered her resolve letting her tears fall as she ran to hug him.
"Don't say that....." Tifa whispered as her lips met his. Her eyes were close as she tried to hide her tears and hoped the kiss would calm Cloud down. She also wrapped her arms around him tight trying to calm him and herself down.

Tifa let go of the kiss but her arms were still wrapped around Cloud as she rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes when his hands held her close. It worked he calmed down. Tifa let a small smile formed on Tifa's lips at the thought and she listened to his words before lifting her head so that she could gaze deep into those mako blue eyes she loved so much. "Cloud..... if its that important to you.... then I can't say no.... I will take a vacation and go with you..... wherever you want..."
She paused for a minute or two to just gaze into his eyes wondering what he was thinking. Tifa knew it was hard for him to being a l'Cie, it was even for her. She was helping the enemy, the one who might end her life and the world yet she couldn't leave him. She loved him and was willing to die for him as well.
But Tifa hoped there was a way out of this one where they can be together and until the time came she would keep searching till she found one. "I am not leaving your side Cloud no matter what..... I know what you have to do.... I know everything but I am still here.... I love you and I am not afraid to say that anymore..... I have been holding back all those years because I didn't think you felt the same way..... but now its different everything change..... and that's why I won't stop searching for a way out of this one where we can be together but....."
She sighed lowering her gaze to the floor. "But if we cant be together then I am willing to die for you....."She said those words finally to let him know. She wasn't afraid that's why she didn't run away when she found out the truth.
