Personality:Tidus is a youthful teen with an upbeat and carefree attitude and childish. However turns more serious when things get hectic. Despite his carefree ways, Tidus conceals a troubled past and a more mature and caring persona, this is because of the hardships during childhood towards his father, in fact this is what motivates him to become a Blitzball player, even to the point that he desires nothing more than to return to his world and wrap himself up on it instead of facing his new reality in Spira.
To Tidus' dismay, he has a strong resemblance to his father who at some point denied his position, taking things easy at every time and never worrying about the present situation leaving things for tomorrow, a trait that Tidus despised about his father Jecht. For his cheerful personality, it is interesting to note that Tidus is quite sensitive, thinking things through, and even when giving an emotional response to most of his arguments, he tends to give a rational idea.
Most of Tidus' personality is related to his father's comments about him, but despite being offensive to Tidus, at heart Jecht was proud of him and his resolve, which in turn made Tidus hate Jecht and think rather lowly of himself, as long since he is not too sure if he is capable of surpassing his father despite his desires. History:During a Blitzball tournament, Zanarkand is attacked by an immense creature shrouded in water known as Sin. The city is destroyed in its path, and Tidus is taken by Sin and Jecht's friend Auron to the world Spira. After arriving in Spira, Tidus encounters an eccentric salvager race, the Al Bhed, and learns from a young Al Bhed girl named Rikku that 1000 years have passed since the destruction of Zanarkand. After another attack by Sin, Tidus is separated from the Al Bhed and drifts to the island Besaid. While on the island he meets Yuna, a summoner who is planning a pilgrimage to destroy Sin, along with her guardians: Lulu, Wakka, and Kimahri Ronso. Tidus navigates his way throughout Spira alongside them in the hope of finding his way home. On the way, he meets Auron again, who further reveals to Tidus that Yuna's father, Braska, Jecht, and Auron made the same pilgrimage and defeated Sin ten years ago.
However, Sin is reincarnated every time it is destroyed, and the current Sin is Jecht. Auron convinces Tidus to join Yuna's pilgrimage as he thinks that by confronting Sin, he will return to Zanarkand, and thus becomes a guardian. As the journey continues, Tidus starts losing hopes of returning home as he decides to stay with the other guardians and develops a romantic relationship with Yuna. As the party approaches Zanarkand, Tidus learns he is not an ordinary human being. He and the Zanarkand he hails from, are the cumulative dreams of the fayth. Their city, Dream Zanarkand, was created at the same time as the destruction of the original Zanarkand, when Sin was created in the war between Zanarkand and Bevelle. A fayth reveals to Tidus that they would like him to find a means to permanently defeat Sin, so that they can all finally rest. However, the fayth also reveals to him that if he does that, the summoning of Dream Zanarkand and all its people—including Tidus—will disappear.
Tidus reaches Zanarkand's ruins with Yuna and her other guardians. Inside Zanarkand, they learn from Lady Yunalesca that Yuna must choose one of her guardians to become her fayth for the Final Summoning. Tidus convinces the others that they must find another way to destroy Sin forever and that should not involve the sacrifice of a guardian or a summoner. The group then attacks Sin directly and enter its shell. Eventually, they find Jecht, and Tidus is reunited with his estranged father, who transforms into his Final Aeon form and is defeated by the party. The party engages the corrupt deity Yu Yevon in a final battle and destroys him, ridding the world of Sin permanently, as well as allowing the fayth to depart and the summoning of Dream Zanarkand to end.
Tidus says goodbye on top of their airship and starts to walk away, knowing that he will soon vanish. Yuna runs after him who hugs her and then dives off the airship into the clouds below, reuniting with the spirits of Auron, Jecht, and Braska in the Farplane.

Two years after the events of Final Fantasy X, Yuna sees a sphere displaying a young man who looks like Tidus trapped in a prison. This compels Yuna to join the Gullwings, a sphere-hunting group, and travel around Spira in the hopes of finding more clues that Tidus may be alive. The individual seen in the sphere is eventually revealed to be another man named Shuyin instead. the fayth appear to Yuna telling her they can make Tidus return to her.[ Tidus then appears in Spira and is reunited with Yuna. In the nature of his return, stating that although he is unsure whether he is still a dream or not, he wishes to stay with her. (Must be at least 3 paragraphs)
Abilities: Quick Hit-Strike quickly with reduced recovery time. Flee- Aids party's escape from battle. Cheer-Raises party's strength and defense. Haste:Speeds up actions of one ally. And, Slow-Slows down actions of one enemy (no more then 5 at first. After 50 posts you can add more)

Role Play Sample:Tidus opened his eyes on the Besaid beach laying down on his back with his face looking up at the sky with his hands behind his head resting it. Tidus blinked his eyes then looked at the sky as he lean forward bring his torso up. As he stretched his arms wide while giving off a yawn. He saw a Blitzball on the side of him as he looked down. He grabbed it and tossed back and forth to his hands. "I must of slept for a bit." Noticing that he forgot about the Blitzball he had with him.
Tidus stopped as he spinned the ball on his right fingertip keeping it in a circular motion going. He yawned once more as he used his left hand to cover his mouth. He shaked his head dropped the blitzball and walked towards the ocean's water as he started to cupped his hand together. He bend down his knees and scooped water into his palms and splashing it in his face while seeing a reflection of his face on the water's surface. He sat back down on his bottom with his arms hanging on his kneecaps.
He thought about Zanarkand when he blitzball back then. He smiled as he stood back up and walked to the ball picking it up and walking to a tall flat surface rock besides the beach. He played with the ball hitting it with every part of his legs and arms. He kept on during it not messing up and started to do the Jecht shot as he was in the air finishing it off with a powerful kick hitting the wall bouncing off it hitting Tidus in the face as he fall on his back on the sand. He got up. "Ouch! Jez! That hurt!" As he rubbed his head.
He stopped as he grabbed the ball walking back to the besaid village. "I wonder if Wakka want to play me sometime?" Tidus would like a good blitzball match with him as he know Wakka was a good blitzball player just like himself. (must be for the character you are applying for at least one paragraph)
