Aerith Gainsborough ...::Flower Girl of Midgar::.... “I’ve waited for…well a long time, no matter how long I have to wait, nothing will change the way I feel about you.” As he said that, she felt him reach up and touch her ribbon in her hair. The very ribbon he gave her....She couldn't help but blush either...He was such a sweet heart. And a gentlemen....“I’m just so glad you waited for me too.”
“No matter what happens I will always love you…Aerith…”
That made her even more happy. She couldn't help but blush more and a smile spread across her face. She was the only one for him. As he was the only one for her. She wanted to marry him so badly it ached. But first thing was first....And that was Cloud. But she waiting for him to ask her that one question. But she would have to wait on that she was sure. Right now any thing could go wrong and she would be the only one for him....She just hoped that this time they would have a future together.....
She wrapped her arms around his neck and played with the back of his hair then....as she still stared into those magnificent eyes of his...She always loved his eyes....That was one feature she first noticed about him being in Soldier. And they were still their brightest their most beautiful......The way the light shown through the broken ceilings letting the light shine over the light blue made him look almost like an angel....
Then some thing or some one came in her mind.....What if she were to run into.....him again? And she got scared all of a sudden.....She knew he was not here....But what if....? What if he found out about her being back....? She would have to go into hiding again?
"Za...Zack....What if he finds out that I'm back....And don't tell me he's not back....I've felt the planet....It's even told me to be cautious....You wouldn't let any thing happen right?"
She wanted to talk to Zack about this any way....She believed every one should have a second chance at life.....But....him. That was different.....She knew everyone would agree with her that he was better off dead.....And that Cloud sent him where he belonged....

::...The Puppy...:: [/color][/u] Your gonna be my…Living Legacy. He was relaxing and happy with her there in his arms and smiling up at him, but then something changed slightly in her demeanor. He looked at her out of concern as her breathing increased slightly and she seemed not so relaxed. About to ask her what was the matter suddenly she spoke. Immediately he knew who ‘he’ was. Sephiroth… His eyebrows drew together as he could tell how concerned she was. He knew she had been killed the first time from Sephiroth. He never had been the hating kind of guy, but harming Aerith made him angry, and Sephiroth had killed her. He couldn’t just simply tell her he wasn’t back because he knew it to be so. He did wish he could spare her the worry though. “It is true, he is back…for only he knows what this time.” He held her tight in his strong arms. “But don’t worry, whatever he’s here to do I won’t let anything bad happen, I promise!” He had gained a lot of powers in the lifestream, would they be enough? He did know he was never going to let Aerith be harmed again, at least not if it was humanly possible for him to keep her safe. He was going to do just that! If it killed him he would keep her safe. “Trust me, anyone that even thinks of harming you is dead.” He said seriously, he wasn’t joking around about that. Sighing, he looked at her, “Why would he target you though? Because you’re an Ancient?” |

She looked up at him then and nodded. She saw the concern in his eyes. And placed a hand on his cheek then to try and calm him down. She knew he would not let Sephiroth hurt her. Or any other evil force. She did have her knight in shinny armor....Right here holding her close. But what if he ever has to leave her alone again? That was what scared her. What if Zack could not make it in time? She was not really a fighter....Although she knew a few spells and such....But that was about it....
"I know Zack....And don't make a promise you can't keep....We will have to be separated sooner or later....But if he or any other evil force tries to hurt me....I will try my best to fight back some how....I couldn't let my death be on your conscious....Promise me.....if any thing happens to me you will not go all crazy....I love you....But there is some thing you need to know....The real reason I'm here...."
She was not gonna let another minute go by with out telling him the truth....She hated keeping things from him so much. She swallowed hard. This was gonna be difficult....He was already talking about family and things....And stuff they were so not ready for. But would he be ready for this....?
She pulled out of the hug....and turned away from him....She was scared to see his eyes when she told him this....."You know about Cloud and all....But that's not all....He will complete his focus.....And I'll be there with him so he's....not alone....And that's why I'm scared of Sephiroth finding out about my return....If Sephiroth gets to me.....then he will win....And Cloud would be alone....Zack...you know when you died you were not alone....Cloud needs that...." She looked down trying to stop her tears from falling....How would Zack react to this....?

He smiled, “I’m not keen on giving out promises I can’t keep, don’t worry Aerith, I’ll keep that one.” He said happily, but he knew she was right, eventually she would be separated, but he would come for her when she was in any sort of trouble. Somehow he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her, or at least he would try his hardest to see that she was safe. When she started talking about her death he shook his head, how was he not going to go crazy? He took in a deep breath, wondering how to respond to that. Zack had a deep emotional attachment to his friends, Aerith more then probably anyone else. How would he just forget and move on? Sure he was a lighthearted, happy go lucky kind of guy, but he hated the thought of anything happening to her.
“I’m…not sure Aerith, if something happened to you…” He said slowly, but listened when she said that he needed to know the real reason why she was here. He let her go a bit and only held on to her hands then…she had already told him about Cloud…there was something else? He was confused, but he just nodded and listened. Then she turned away from him and he felt scared as to what she was going to tell him. It was that bad…? His heart clenched at her pain of telling him. What could it even be?! When she said that he would complete his focus his face dropped a bit, but he had expected that. At the same time it raised some doubts. What did that mean…? Would Gaia be destroyed? Would everyone that lived on the planet die? So many questions flowed through his mind, would everything work out in the end? He felt his back become ridged as he thought about the future. He crossed his arms and looked down as she continued to talk to him. He felt his throat tighten as he listened. He would be there for Cloud too. If he had known before…but now what was he supposed to do? Cloud hadn’t told him, obviously he didn’t want him to know. He felt his heart become heavy as he stood there, knees locked, arms crossed, head hanging down a bit. He felt bad that he hadn’t been there for Cloud more. So filled up with joy about being alive he hadn’t stopped to much to learn about Cloud being a l’cie, and everything he was going through. Sighing, he looked up and saw she had her own head down. In a few strides he was in front of her and kneeling down. He looked up at her, seeing the tears threatening to fall. “Hey hey.” He said soothingly before reaching out and putting his hands around hers. “It’ll be ok. Things will somehow work out, you’ll see.” Standing up he smiled down at her, “Cloud will never be alone, and when it comes right down to it, you’re not the one I’m going to let Sephiroth hurt…it’ll be me.” He said softly. It was true, he had already give up his life once, what was one more time? If anyone was going to die it would be him. He could accept giving his life up again, even though it would be hard he could do it. Who knew…maybe some day the lifestream would bring him back again… |

She placed her hand on the top of his head and rubbed her fingers through his jet black, thick, hair.....And just stared at him....He was so beautiful to her.....And her hand rubbed down to his cheek. She finally smiled....But what he said scared her. He didn't want him to get hurt. Not for her. But she knew that was a fight she would loose...He was a 1ST Class Soldier before he died....He would try everything he could to protect her.....Her bright green eyes showed him so much love.....
"Always my hero huh? You're so amazing....And so strong. If any one could save me, it would be you....."
Her love for Zack was so strong....She knew they would be alright. And if Cloud did what he had to do, then if it happens....They would at least be in the Life Stream together again.....Like last time....So Aerith was no longer worried....She just let him hug her.....As he was still kneeling she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him.....But that made her kneel down as well....As she continued to hug him close....She was enjoying this moment with him...."I wanna marry you...." She whispered to him in his ear....And then laid her head on his shoulder.....She felt so safe in his arms..... |

::...The Puppy...:: [/color][/u] Your gonna be my…Living Legacy. He saw the tears and smiled up at her before reaching his hand up to wipe them away. She was so sweet and innocent, helpful and kind. She cared about everyone and felt everyone’s pain. He couldn’t help but think she was the perfect woman. How she could worry about everyone and still be happy was beyond him. If he dwelled on everyone’s problems he would be depressed all the time. It was better to not think about bad things and focus on the positive. When she smiled his smile only got bigger. He knew she wouldn’t want him to get hurt, but he was SOLDIER, he was used to roughing it, fighting everything that came after him, whether friend or enemy, knowing you might die any day, having people turn on you, you name it, it had been in his job. He was used to the thought of dying, of getting hurt. He hadn’t ever been able to think about any of his friends getting hurt or dying, especially Aerith. When she kneeled down by him and wrapped her arms around his neck he felt happiness wash over him. Even after her sadness she was still happy around him. When she whispered out what she did he felt warm all over, she wanted to marry him! He nodded before softly whispering back, “Soon babe soon.” Before suddenly smiling and drawing her into his lap. He sat there and stroked her hair while smirking; “Besides I thought we were waiting for Cloud to even think about Marriage.” He said teasingly before kissing her gently on her nose. He wished this could go on forever. He hated the thought of having to go fight everything, of Cloud having to face his demons yet again. Why couldn't that guy ever have a break? He wrapped his arms around her waist and sighed, "Aerith, after this is all over and done with...will you be my wife?" He asked softly, hopefully. |

Aerith Gainsborough ...::Flower Girl of Midgar::.... “Soon babe soon.” She giggled when he called her babe....And looked up into his eyes.....She smiled brightly at him then....He would see she was no longer scared....“Besides I thought we were waiting for Cloud to even think about Marriage.”
"I know...."
"Aerith, after this is all over and done with...will you be my wife?"
She gasped....As she placed her palms on her mouth....But removed them shortly after to reveal a big smile.....She couldn't believe it...He actually asked her....Her heart even missed a beat....
"Yes!"
It didn't take her long to answer him....She knew he was her one true love from the very moment she met him....Maybe not that quick...But after she spent time with him, she found herself wanting to be with him more and more....He had that sense of him that he was just perfect for her. She's never had a boy friend before Zack....Her life was just too precious and too busy to even think about herself....But right now she was actually taking her own deep breaths and not worrying about the others she had to care for...For once she was worried about herself....She was most of the time selfless...And cared less about herself as she cared for who ever entered her church for help....
"Yes, Zack....I will be your wife...." She said it full out for him to hear...As she rubbed her fingers through his hair and smiled....She was so happy right now...There was a little bit of hope in her own eyes....This thing with Cloud was not going to end in tragedy.....She wanted to with stand her purpose now for being here....And be with Zack more than any thing in this world right now...She loved the way he just wrapped his strong arms around her like that...She felt safe in his arms....She kissed him back on his cheek then....The thought of being his wife was more than she could believe! She was so happy she wanted to be with him now....More romantically...But she probably was not ready for that next step....She blushed at the thought.....

She smiled and laughed more then anyone he knew, always bright and cheerful, always ready to laugh. It made him feel happier and more ready to face life, being around her. So he still had his arms wrapped around her and sighed a bit, his face relaxed as he watched her rest her head on his shoulder. Everything was so...right! Why could nothing ever stay the way it was supposed to? He knew, something was going to have to go wrong eventually...why? Because everything was so right. She sat up and covered her mouth with her hand, gasping when he asked her. He felt this was the most appropriate place to ask her...the very place he had met her the first time. He remembered that day with happiness even if everything other then meeting her had gone wrong. Waking up and calling her an angel had made her laugh and call him silly, but he really had wondered. She said yes and his lips curled up into the biggest grin he had ever had on his face. “Really??” He asked almost in shock. How could he be this lucky?Well...true he had been killed by the ShinRa army, but NOW he was lucky! When the blush covered her face he laughed and squeezed her hand, “Your so adorable when you blush.” He said frankly, but then a blush of his own crept up his neck. This was all so...different. He really wasn't used to this, plus it felt so weird. How could he be lucky enough for a girl like her to wait...? Everything was falling into place...but he couldn't get over the thought that someway, something was going to go wrong. Pushing it to the back of his brain he sat there and planned the future out in his mind...before just shrugging it off, whatever happened, happened. No matter how much someone planned, something always went wrong. He just accepted it, but really he wasn't going to marry her until he knew for sure he could support her, and everything with Cloud was over. They would help him face it till the end...whatever that meant. If that meant he could never be with Aerith...or that it was the end of the world...well so be it. He just wouldn't think about it in the meantime. |

"So is yours...." She replied back....She grabbed his hand in hers then and placed her cheek on the top of it. As she rubbed her cheek on it and closed her eyes....She just got a glimpse of them together as husband and wife....It wasn't a real vision. It was more like a day dream....She smiled as she sighed at the thought.....
She never thought they would ever get a second chance at life....She was so happy....And was relieved that he was no longer in any pain....That last time she saw him in her mind gave her great fear.....She knew he was going to die.....And she couldn't do any thing to help him.....But he was here....Right where he belonged with her....They were together in the Life Stream....But she was different.....Now she was felt completely different....

He could see their future, being husband and wife, a house and kids running around. He had wanted a life like that, his parents had always been happy together, he had wanted that, he was just glad that it was Aerith that was going to be his wife. The world being destroyed by Cloud’s hands didn’t fit into that happy ending, but he knew that somehow things would work out. He wasn’t going to loose his second chance, Aerith or his best friend, at least if he could help it. He smiled and reached up to brush her bangs away from her face, tucking them behind her ear, “You don’t have to think about anything happening to me, I’m not gonna go dying again. I’ve got to much to live for.” He said happily, he was always like that though, happy go lucky and confident that the future would hold happiness. |

The moment he touched her bangs she savored the moment. Afraid she would never get that feel again of him. Him just being him...Touching and holding her gently in her arms made her feel so safe and secure. She looked into his beautiful eyes and she blushed again....This time her blush darkened some more as she smiled as well at him. He said he was not planning on dying again....But he didn't know that was certain....Neither did she. But she was powerful....And she could try and keep him safe this time if he wanted her to. Did he even know how powerful she was? They never really discussed the nature of their origin of their strengths to one another....She was sure he and Cloud had that conversation....A guy was just easier to talk to about power in a way that it was just not meant for a woman like her to discuss....or even try and out wit any one for that matter. She uses her powers when she needs to....Like when Yazoo nearly killed Cloud when he was turned into a L'Cie....
"Don't worry....I'll protect you. I promise you."
She was more closer to Zack now than she was a few seconds before. She was leaning closer to his lips. As she wrapped her hands around to his back.....She didn't wanna worry about what they were here for right now. All that matter was here and now...They were together....She looked like she was about to kiss him....But she didn't. Instead she leaned up to his ear and whispered some thing to him for his ears only....When she said what she had said, she looked back into his eyes....And just hoped that he would want to......Soon.....She was not afraid any more. She knew he would never take advantage of her like that. When she said she was ready, that was it...... ((I'll pm you what she says^^)) |

He hugged her close and just let himself slip into a happy state while he held her. Did he think those last moments while alive that he would ever be here again? Holding onto the woman he loved and actually having her love him back? Never. But somehow even still he had died with a smile on his face. He didn't know how or why, life had meant so much to him...but dying hadn't scared him...just now did it actually start to hit him. And that was only because he finally had something to live for. Never again would he be alone! Aerith would always be by his side, no matter what happened. When she whispered to him he was surprised, and he felt warm with love for her. But his morals held on, his parents had always instilled in him to be married first...something he thought they should do. Besides things were so crazy, he wanted this to be done before they were married. It would mean more, or so he thought in his mind. So his gentle whisper following hers was tender and loving. (what he said in PM) So he just rocked her back and forth in his arms and smiled into the distance. He had everything now...well everything he needed. He couldn't imagine why he was so lucky right now, why everything was going right. But he was glad it was going right. No matter what happened he knew he had her. She would be there for support, to help him when he felt down, to hug, kiss and feel like he was normal. To love him back. He was so glad he had come here, that they were both back and had another chance. Whatever he had done to deserve this it was obviously good. He was lost in the moment of bliss, just sitting there was the best feeling of his life. One day he would be able to support Aerith and their family, he was sure now. Things with Cloud would work out. They would support him and he would be able to do live, somehow they would all survive the end of the world... |

She smiled and blushed at what he whispered back to her....Then he pulled her into a hug....And just rocked her....She smiled and laid her head on his chest...He was so warm to her....She knew she was safe in his arms like this. They would both know what true love was soon enough she thought that to herself....She knew he was a bit embarrassed just talking about it...That's why they whispered that topic in each others ears....It would come....But Aerith wanted what Zack wanted...To get married first then worry about that later.....
She was so satisfied....And happy. She was really happy right now just letting him hold her was enough. They were together that's all that mattered now....They were together in life and death....No matter what happened with Cloud they would be together she just knew it...He had grown up...She noticed that as well...He was a bit more mature and looked more like a man in her eyes than when she first met him...She smiled at the memory when they first met....That echoed through her mind as she fell asleep in his arms just then....Nothing could separate what they both felt for each other....Nothing.....
