Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. The question that was brought to Repa’s attention, thanks to Fate, made her pause a few moments. Why explain herself now? Might as well just answer the question, otherwise her lack of answering might cause some more questions to pop up. Repa shrugged her shoulders a bit looking off to the side and more towards the ground. “I guess you could say I’m…doing all three?” She was indeed running from something, Searching for something, and trying to see new sights, but mostly the first option of the three. Repa let her mind go back to the competition as a smile reappeared on her face. Oh the beauty of confidence. “I think I’ll take my chances of going at it alone…besides it should be too hard for either of you…Getting beat by a girl would hurt your big reputation as a hero right? An no complaints will be coming from me…Promise” She said following Fate and Sonuske into the forest, her eyes looking in every direction and her mind racing through different plans and approaches she could make. Repa grabbed the phone that was tossed to her. Hm. That was nice. It would be helpful for finding each other when they all set off for their own T-rexaur. “Well whoever takes one down, press the green button and that’ll determine our winner I suppose.” Repa shrugged some placing the phone and her gloves in her back pocket. “Yeah well Fate…Prepare to cry…” She smirked before looking in the direction she wanted to go. If she was lucky, she’d find one quick and hopefully get this over with in a short amount of time. Repa darted off in her own direction, looking for any sign of these T-rexaurs, and from Fates description of them, they shouldn’t be that hard to find. Not that she believed they were a million feet tall, but the exaggeration helped. This was fun, the adrenaline that started to build up, and the thought of winning something for once instead of failing was nice too. But even if she didn’t win, this was a good way to make friends she thought. “Here little T-rexaur…wow I feel so stupid...oh well. Better find one of these things quick.” She whispered to herself before continuing her search.

Yes, it was time for Fate to place another win under his belt. Well, actually his first win... Hopefully. The quicker he found one of these beast the quicker he could prove how much of a hero he really was. He dragged his blade against the cold ground, singing loudly as possible. Yes, he was trying to draw attention to himself. Why go to the beast when it could come to him, right? I gotta bad feelin' 'bout this. Still, Fate continued to sing as he walked along his path. He came to a sudden stop though when he realized he was being followed. From the sound of the footsteps it must have been a small monster. "Leave me alone. I got bigger--"
Fate turned around swinging his blade at the... puppy? A cute black and white puppy! Fate pulled his blade back, scratching his head with his free hand. The puppy and Fate exchange stares for a moment before Fate opened his mouth to speak. "... Roll over..." The dog quickly rolled causing Fate to laugh slightly. "Play dead..." The dog fell over on his back, sticking out his tongue and extending all four legs in the air. "Seeing as you don't have a tag I guess that means you're homeless," Fate shrugged, "Alright. Guess that means you come with me." The puppy jumped to its feet and let out a bark of excitment.
Dude, pets are evil. They eat all the foods and they use the bathroom anywhere. We just have to work with him. I mean I deal with you so what's the difference? Uh, four legs, a tail, barks a lot, needs attention. Should I continue? Besides the four legs and tail I'd say you two are completely the same. ... Ya a jerk! So he had made another friend today, but Fate had plans to take this one home and keep it. The two happily treaded through the forest. "So how am I going to explain this to Sonny?" THE PUPPY

Sonuske walked on his own path, his eyes darting around, scanning the surrounding area looking for any signs of a T-Rexaur. So far nothing. He sighed, cursing his bad luck. He continued to walk, getting kinda bored with the lack of activity around him aside from the random bug flying around. He sensed something was about to happen, but paid it no mind for the moment.
He stopped walking after hearing something move behind him. He slowly turned his head around to face his back, trying to catch a glimpse of what was stalking him. He didn't see anything. He heard rustling again, this time infront of him. He turned back around, now seeing a wolf-like monster before him. He sighed out of frustration. "You're clearly not what I was looking for...." He said, before preparing to kill this monster off.
"Looks like I'll have to get rid of you first though." His shadow stretched forward, quickly ensnaring his enemies shadow, connecting the two. Without wasting anytime, he continued his technique, a shadow snaking it's way up the beast's body till it reached it's neck. It then formed into a hand, and began strangling the monster until a sharp cracking sound was heard, it's neck now broken. He sighed, his own shadow now retracting back to his body. "Well that was a good portion of time wasted, better keep moving." He said to himself as he went back to searching for his target.

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. So Fate found a Puppy and Sonuske strangled another animal. What did Repa find? Nothing. Just grass, trees, and more things she didn't really care about at the moment. For such large beasts they were going after, Repa hadn't seen anything! With a huff Repa sat down and leaned against a tree trying to re-think her approach and where to go from here. What if no one found one of these T-rexaurs? That'd be so lame. Repa looked around and tried to clear her head as she listened to the sounds of nature. A few moments passed by of pure silence and Repa figured it was best to start off again. "Do these things even exist? or am I just being played here..." She said outloud to herself wondering if these boys were just pulling her leg about this T-Rexaur stuff. If so, oh were they going to get it! Repa wasn't the most ambitious when it came to challenges or anything life threatening, but this was just a little fun, she'd give it a little while longer before giving up her search. She wondered how the other two were doing...if this was a legit creature they were looking for. Standing up looking out at a clear field Repa sighed and looked down at her scythe. "Terminate." She said before her scythe disappeared and she set off to search unarmed- aside from her death power, but that probably wasn't the smartest move. After a good 15 minutes of walking Repa stopped again this time utterly irritated out of her mind. This must be some sort of prank. "Thats It. Im going to find those two and-" But her angering statement was cut short when an ear splitting roar distracted her. While covering her ears from the loud roar, Repa grinned to herself. Success. She ran into the direction of the roar and didn't bother to summon her scythe again. "Piece of cake..." She mumbled to herself running for her battle and her soon-to-be victory....maybe.

Fate looked at the dog, noticing he didn't have any type of taggings. It left him with only one choice now. He had to take the puppy for himself. He would have been heartless if he left the little creature homeless. "Alright. We need a name for you buddy..." He smiled, "How about Hidaka?" The puppy quickly shook its head no. "Ryu? Armuro? Kira? Athrun? Auel? Sting? Yzak? Dearka?" The puppy continued to shake his head no. Fate stopped and looked at him. He was already giving Fate a hard time. Fate sighed as he tried to think of a name for his new friend.
"Banks!!!" He said, staring at the pup. There was a brief moment, as if the puppy was letting the name sink in. He then quickly ran to Fate, sticking his tongue out. "I'll take that as you liking it." He rubbed his hand on Banks' head, laughing slightly. He had totally forgot about how he was going to explain this to Sonuske. Of course Fate heard the roar too. Seriously, a dog isn't good for us. We can barely take care of ourselves. I'm completely ignoring you right now. Blah, blah, blah! Boom-Boom-Pow! ... Just get me some damn cookies!!!
Banks let out two loud barks in the direction of where the roar had came from. "That's where we're going Banks." Banks tilted his head to the side, staring at Fate with those puppy eyes. But they were useless. Fate was going to win this competition. He cuffed Banks in his right arm and ran off, looking for that T-Rexaur. Great! We can use the doggie for bait! Great thinkin' marshmellow!

Sonuske kept walking, rubbing his left shoulder with his right hand. Hadn't he exerted himself enough for one day? Maybe it was about time to call it quits. That actually sounded like a good idea, quitting. Besides, Repa's victory would only mean that they had to give her a tour, and he could let Fate handle that while he just followed along. And he was sure that if Fate won, his prize would involve food or something of the sort, meaning no extra work. Now that he thought about it, he actually hadn't thought of a prize for his victory. What did he even want? Nothing really, besides a nap, but he could take those at anytime.
That's all there was to it, since he didn't see much reason for him to even compete in this contest, he reclined himself to take a quick nap in the forest until on of them called him on his new cell declaring victory, and neither of them would be none the wiser. He loved the way his mind worked. He stopped right where he was and looked around for a nice spot to take a nap. He found a pretty good spot underneath a tree, and quickly made his way over to it, sitting down and leaning up against it. He closed his eyes and sighed with satisfaction, he loved relaxing like this.
Not too long after he closed his eyes, he heard a loud roar not too far from his location. "Oh now you wanna show up.... What a jerk. T-Rexuars are such a pain..." He complained, slowly opening his eyes with an irrittated expression on his face. He slowly stood up and stretched his neck and back before heading back into the fray. He ran towards source of the roar, also hearing something else make a loud noise. It wasn't as loud as the T-Rex, but it still caught his attention. 'Was that a dog?' He thought as his legs kept moving on the ground.

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Victory was in the near future for Repa. At least she thought so since she had finally found what she was looking for. A T-Rexaur! Success was flowing her way right now instead of Failure. Repa skidded to a stop for a moment trying to think if she was just going to bolt right up and touch the monster, then walk off to claim her victory. Yep. That was exactly what she was going to do. So Repa continued to run, thank goodness she wore flat shoes today easier to run in. As her boots hit the ground, pushing her off even faster with each step she took, Repa grinned to herself still not summoning her scythe, this is where that over confidence kicked in. Repa saw the creature and her eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. She saw no one else around so this means she was the first to find one! Since she heard nothing else rustling through that forest. Just as Repa was a good 20 feet away from this thing she heard the faint sounds of barks. "What was that..." She slowed her pace and turned back trying to see if something was coming at her from behind but no. By the time she turned back to the beast it had let out another ear splitting roar as it whipped its tail back and sent Repa flying back. Thats what she got for not paying attention. Repa slid against the grass some as her fall came to a stop as she landed on her back. That would hurt later. Maybe...this wouldn't be as easy as she thought. With a heavy sigh she lifted herself off the ground and brushed off her clothes, aside from the grass stains all over her back and the back of her arms. "Commence." She grumbled as her scythe appeared. Now it was game time. She wondered again how Fate and Sonuske were doing...If they heard this roar, they'd probably be on their way over now seeing as this was the only sign of a T-Rexaur. The thought made Repa want to go quickly at this. So again, she bolted keeping herself focused this time, but even all her focus wouldn't keep her from getting hit. "Agggghh!!" And she got sent backwards again, smashing her scythe into pieces and leaving her completely winded, feeling as if something had smashed her ribs into dust...which probably could've happened.

Fate continued on his path, but came to a stop when he heard another roar. Banks seemed to be trembling in the boy's arm. "Hey, don't worry. T-Rexaurs can't defeat me," He smiled, "And... I'm holding a conversation with a puppy... I'm even more crazy than I thought." He started to run again, but this time ran into Sonuske. He looked at Sonuske and laughed slightly, knowing he was going to question what he was doing with a puppy. "Uh, explain later man. There's a T-Rex back there man," Fate said, pointing in the direction he had just came from.
He then smiled and ran off again. He couldn't allow someone as lazy as Sonuske to beat him. He would never live it down. He progress was halted again. This time by a tree branch that had met his neck. Really!? How the heck is a branch this low!!!? He sat up as Banks started to run off in the direction of where the roars had came from. Fate quickly hopped to his feet, chasing after the little puppy. "Ay! I can't protect you if you run off!"
He arrived just in time to see Repa being attacked. That isn't gonna happen to us, right? Fate had forgot how big these creatures were. He ran over to see if Repa was alright. "Uh, I know this is a stupid question, but are you alright?" He asked, "You didn't see a puppy running around here, did you?" He was sure Sonuske was going to be here soon. He had to draw the T-Rexaur's attention away from Repa. He jumped to his feet running toward the T-Rexaur. As it swung it tail Fate quickly dropped to the ground, allowing the tail to go flying over him. "You made me ruin my favorite t-shirt!!!" But the beast wasn't done yet. Fate eyes open wide as he seen the beast's tail coming down at him. He quickly rolled, avoiding the tail. Well, he had got the beast's attention. Out of nowhere Banks leaped and latched onto the beast's tail with his teeth. "What happen to you trembling in fear..." He sighed. It seemed as if Banks and Fate had a lot in common; they both did stupid things. He charged forward as crimson electricity danced around the boy's right arm. He was sure that this would draw the attention of the T-Rexaur. "Banks! Run!" Yeah, this was usually the part where Sonuske appeared and provided help. I think he ran away. I think him being lazy is just a way for him to cover up his cowardice. We should go find him!

Sonuske kept going, till he ran into Fate. He instantly noticed Fate was traveling alone, and as soon as he opened his mouth to question where he had found the puppy, he told him he'd tell him later. And then Fate proceeded to lie. Did Fate think he was stupid? If there was a T-Rex back that way, why was he running the opposite way? Plus Sonuske had already heard where one truly was. Now there was two things Sonuske was gonna have to get on Fate about.
He kept going, Fate clearly leaving him in the dust. He knew one of the two had probably killed the monster by now, so there was no point in him rushing. He slowed his run down to a jog, not wanting to waste any extra energy for nothing. He ducked under the low branch that seemingly appeared out of nowhere without stopping. The sooner he made it to the pair, the sooner they could get this whole thing over with.
He came upon the scene of the battle, which he actually thought would be over by now. He was treated to such a wonderous sight. The puppy biting the tail of the T-Rexaur, Fate charging the beast, and Repa on the ground, most likely in alot of pain. Luckily he had stopped by a store the day before and picked up a few potions. He walked over to her and handed her the item. "Drink this." He said simply, before turning around to help Fate and his new puppy.
He took a few steps forward, then once again stretched out his shadow, positive the T-Rexaur was focused on Fate and Banks. His shadow connected with the beast's, and it suddenly stopped it's assault. "What would you do without me?" He said, grinning at Fate. He yawned, bringing up his hand to cover his mouth and sat down, the T-Rex mimicking his movements and sitting down as well. A length of his shadow sprung up from the ground and made it's way over to the remnants of Repa's scythe. It wrapped around the blade, picking it up and lunging at the T-Rex, jamming the blade into it's long nose. "Finish it for me would ya? I'm tired..."

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Oh the pain! The agony! The…failure to come! Once again, bad luck seemed to stalk Repa, and right when she was about to achieve something, it always seemed to trip her and make her fall flat on her face and fail. Repa sat there for a moment, winded still, wheezing in breaths as she kept her eyes locked on the T-rexaur to make sure it didn’t attack her again. Why didn’t she just walk away after meeting these two? Instead of showing off, challenging them, and getting her butt kicked. Oh and now right in front of them. Joy. Repa heaved in breaths as Fate asked her if she was okay. Stupid question, but Repa nodded some trying to be tough as usual, but then he asked about the puppy and Repa just shook her head no. “Nope.” She whimpered. At least there was something good about Fate arriving. He got the T-rexaur’s attention away from Repa. And Sonuske gave her a potion. Even better. Although come a few more moments of thriving agony, Repa would’ve healed herself, but taken a risk of her passing out afterwards. Magic always wiped out Repa if she used it too much, she’d faint, pass out, all that jazz. So this was good. She did as instructed and drank the potion feeling relieved instantly like she had never gotten hit in the first place. “Thanks…I…Owe you.” She said getting to her feet and clenching her fists. She already lost this battle and she knew it. Repa watched as the two seemed to be handling this much better than she tried to do. Running full speed charging at the thing probably wasn’t a good idea at first, but now, with it being distracted and all, maybe it’d work now. Repa looked around, to make sure everything would be clear when she bolted. “Finish it?” Repa sighed looking so disappointed. “I give up on this whole challenge thing. One of the two of you win, I withdraw myself.” She said before running towards the beast, gloves off and ready to end this, but not claim any sort of victory. Repa got close and went at the beast from behind before grazing her hand across the T-rexaur’s tail. It looked like it had been electrocuted with giant jolts of electricity, and then it collapsed. Repa poked the beast just to make sure it was really dead before confirming her powers were still working. She folded her arms behind her back and looked at the ground as she walked back around the beast slowly to go back to talk to Fate and Sonuske. “I may have taken down the beast…but I didn’t win…Im not the victor in this battle…Maybe next time.” She thought to herself before smiling at the two boys. “You win.” She stated simply before adding on. “You two are clearly the winners…and clearly great heroes…” Compliments were good, they deserved them. “T-Thank you both…for…” How embarrassing, for a princess who kept stating she was no damsel in distress, she certainly was today. “…for saving me from being crushed to a pulp…” And with that she smiled again rocking back on her heals waiting for them to burst into a happy frenzy or something due to their victory.

"What would I do without you?" Fate shrugged, "Become a super model? Start my own clothing line?" If Fate wanted to he could have finished off the T-Rexaur. He just choose to let his partner get some of the spotlight. Once Sonuske had the beast's shadow, Fate was going to attack, but it seemed Repa wanted the kill. The electricity around the boy's arm slowly faded as he watched her touch the beast's tail with her bare hand. Shortly after the beast hit the ground.
Fate whistle and signaled for Banks to come to him. Fate kneeled down and waved his finger in the puppy's face; upset. "You can't be doing stuff like that Banks," He said, "You could have seriously got hurt." He patted Banks on the head then turned his attention back to Repa as she spoke. "Well, I really did nothing to help with the kill so I guess we give the credit to Sonny." Besides, the prize that Fate wanted was pretty stupid. It was best that he just erase the thought from his head.
"So what excatly did you do, Ms. Repa?" He said, puzzled. He had never seen someone touch something and it just died. It was scary thought to know that someone was capable of that. Totally she was a freak. What if she accidently touches us? We end up like that T-Rex. Oh, that's funny. Real funny man.

Sonuske smiled at Repa. "Your safety is the only thing you owe me, don't sweat it." He said still smiling all friendly like. 'Did I really just say that?! That was cheesy and stupid! Been hanging around Fate too long...' He thought, though still outwardly smiling, on the inside he wasn't exactly too happy with what he said. Don't get him wrong, he was glad Repa was feeling fine now, he just didn't like the cheesy line he spat out afterwards.
He watched as Repa finished the beast just by touching it. Yup, his earlier suspicion was correct. She could kill something just by touching it with her hands. Truly deadly indeed. Good thing she was on their side. He released his technique and scratched the back of his head. She was giving up? But she was the one who killed it. "I don't get it, you clearly won. Why withdraw?" He asked confused
Then Fate turned down the prize. Sonuske was gonna quit before anyway! Why did they have to make this so complicated? What a drag. "I say we give it to the puppy. He clearly did the most work and was the bravest one out of all of us." He said seriously. It seemed like the best thing to do, since had he won it would just mean more work.
He turned to Repa as she thanked them for saving her and flashed her a grin. "No problem. Guys like us are supposed to protect girls anyway." He said in all seriousness, the grin still on his face. Just for kicks, he pulled out the cell phone and pressed the green button, wearing the same grin the whole while.

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Repa sighed. Well that was over at least. No more challenges unless she knew what she was up against. This was an embarrassment to herself, having to be saved once again. She looked over at Fate and the puppy, he didn’t have the dog before? What did he find it in the woods? Probably and it wouldn’t shock her thus far knowing him for as long as she had…which was like what an hour? Repa nodded that Sonuske should get the credit, he did do the most work, but then again, they both helped Repa out a lot, she wouldn’t be opposed to them both getting something as a reward for their good deed… Sonuske’s statement. Oh Boy. Repa in her mind laughed a bit, not that it was all that funny, but…well yeah it was funny, but on the outside she looked the same, just a happy smile as she covered her inner giggling. “Well I withdrew because it wasn’t fair. I can easily kill something as you can see- which I will explain in a moment.” She said glancing at Fate before looking back at Sonuske. “I withdrew because had you two not arrived when you did…well I’d be eating dirt right now and maybe going six feet under. But here I am…alive and well. So obviously I didn’t win.” She shrugged a bit not having a better answer, but that one worked for her. “I decided to let the real heros take credit…”Then the question of her powers. Oh what a sore subject. It came in handy sometimes…like times like this, but others eh not so much. “I just have the ability to…well kill any living thing.” And before she forgot, she pulled out her gloves and re-gloved her hands continuing on. “That’s why I wear gloves all the time…I cant risk hurting anyone…” With her gloves tightened she let her arms fall to her sides and a weak smile crossed her face. “Give it to the puppy? Ah…well…okay then if you insist.” Her eyes glanced at the puppy, Banks was his name if she heard Fate correctly. “So how exactly are we supposed to tell what the puppy wants?” Her face looked puzzled as she was so confused on how this would work. Giving a prize for a challenge to a puppy…made her feel somewhat of an idiot…losing to a pup. Although she did withdraw so…she didn’t technically lose. Repa pulled out the phone Fate had tossed her earlier. She looked at Fate and tossed it back lightly as she smiled. No matter what she was still a princess at heart and all these chivalric acts people were performing for her, made her feel even more like a princess, which wasn’t a bad thing, but it wasn’t a good thing? She was trying to be more independent and less…dependent on someone saving her all the time. “Well that’s what heroes do…they save people…damsels in distress mostly where I come from.” She giggled a bit at her own personal humor which she knew no one would really get except herself…knowing who she really was would help.

Fate paused for a moment and gave Sonuske a blank stare. He must have knew soon as that cheesy comment left his mouth Fate was going to start the bashing. Fate tried his hardest to hold back his laughter, but it came bursting out. He double over, holding his stomach. The pain, the laughter was too much. "Would you like some crackers with that cheesy line?" He said jokingly. His laughter slowly died out, but he was still grinning and pointing at Sonuske.
"Tch! Who cares about fairness? It's not cheating if you can use it..." Fate shrugged, "... That sounded cooler in my head. But you get what i'm saying." As Sonuske pulled out the phone and pushed the green button Fate smiled. He winked his left eye, causing the cellular device to send an electricial surge onto his hand. We're so mature! Hehehe. Oww, tell her to touch the puppy and see what happens. ..... What? It would be one less mouth to feed.
Okay, so Banks was the winner. Wait! He wasn't in the competition to begin with so he couldn't win. Fate would just keep that to himself and let the pup have the glory. He kneeled down, gently pulling Banks closer to him. "Whatcha want to do Banks?" He asked. Fate nodded as if he really understood what Banks was barking. "Really? That's it? Alright." He stood back up and turned to Repa and Sonuske with a huge grin on his face. "He's want some food and a place to stay...." Fate said, "He also says that Ms. Repa has to take us to other worlds with her... If that's cool with her..."

Sonuske shrugged. Repa had her reasons for dropping out, which he completely understood. For the most part, though he wouldn't press the matter. They always had to make things so complicated though! Why couldn't things just stick to how he planned them? He was just gonna take a nap, and let them handle it, but noooo.... Fate had to lolligag around, forcing Sonuske to exert himself so Repa didn't get hurt. Not that he minded helping out, he just thought it was pointless if they could've handled it themselves.
He cut his eyes over at Fate, glaring at him. He was gonna get it later for that one. "Just you wait Lingod...." He said with a hint of evil to his tone. He'd make sure to remember that one, next time Fate needed his help. Which knowing him, would probably end up being soon. His idiotic ideas aways got him into binds that Sonuske had to help him get out of, not next time though. He was on his own.
He turned back to Repa as she explained her powers, confirming his earlier suspicions. He loved being so smart, it paid off most times. Though sometimes he wished he had average level intelligence so his mind wasn't always so clustered with his own thoughts and theories. But, there was nothing he could do about it. "Do me a favor and tap Fate on the cheek, gloveless. He causes me more trouble than he's worth." He said jokingly, trying to lighten Repa's mood on her own power. He could tell it kind of upset her, but then again having a power like that would upset anyone.
After being shocked by the phone, he instinctively dropped it and waved his hand around in the air to wave away the tingling sensation. He glared daggers at Fate once more. "Laugh while you can, you'll get your's soon enough." Now he'd have to come up with a clever plan to get Fate back, which shouldn't be too hard, Sonuske knew Fate like the back of his hand, and he planned to fully use that to his advantage.
At Repa's question about being able to tell what Banks wanted, he simply pointed to Fate, whom he knew would ask the puppy. "Like that." He raised an eyebrow at what 'Banks' wanted for his prize. "Now the first part sounded like what a dog would say, but the last bit has you written all over it." He looked at Repa, wondering if she would agree to such a thing. Honestly he kind of hoped she would, world traveling sounded kind of fun.
