Walking down this whining road Raining days are all unknown I have hit the ground Rain feel in soft splashes against the pavement. People strolled past, some hurrying out of the rain and some enjoying it. The sky overhead was turning a darker gray by the second and in the distance, thunder could be heard. It was a dark day in the city, for the rain had started this morning and was only getting worse by the second.
A young girl walked at a calm pace through the rush of people. Her long white hair flowed out slightly behind her, dancing in the wind. She held an umbrella in one hand and a large paper bag in the other. Her stiletto boots clicked softly on the pavement as she walked, the noise drowned out by the sounds of the city in a storm. She was content to stay in the rain, as long as her umbrella protected her that is. She had always liked the rain, calling on it many a time in her home world. A smile graced her rose-colored lips as she thought about home, the good parts at least. But with good memories come bad and she quickly steered away from home and onto the here and now. It was almost twelve in the afternoon and she had to open up shop.
The white-haired girl stopped at a small little shop. Flowers lined the outside while flowers on the inside by the windows prevented almost anyone from seeing anything but he smallest glimpses of the inside. A closed sign hung inside the door and as she went in, she flipped it to open. She switched on the light and instantly the shop brightened. Flowers were everywhere, a necessity for a flower shop, after all. A counter stood in the back by a door, a register and a vase of calla lilies resting on it. Behind the counter was a stool for he young girl to sit and work as she pleased. After collapsing the umbrella, she made her way behind the counter, setting down the heavy paper bag.
"Now, let's see what we have here," she mumbled with a smile. From the bag she drew out two cartons of Chinese food and a 9oz bottle of soda. The chopsticks and napkins came next, followed by a few tools. After inspecting her tools, the girl set them back in the bag and placed it on the floor.
"I'll get to you lovelies later," she said, opening her food. While normally strong-scented, the smell of the food was hidden in the rich perfume of the flowers in the room.

The man was not a fan of the rain and was lucky to find cover when it started. Although he himself did not mind the rain, it always rusted up his armor unless it was dried often. He turned around and noticed a small flower shop of sorts behind him. Looking up he could see the lightning and within a few more seconds the thunder could be heard. Powerful storm huh. He noticed the store sign was open so he gently opened the door and walked inside. After the door closed he looked around. It was a tad bit warmer but since the flowers had to grow it wasn't that much of a surprise to him. He could sense a presence as he glanced at the counter and noticed a woman. He also noticed he lunch but wondered what it was. Perhaps it was because he was just about to get lunch or perhaps he saw the symbol of the Chinese food restaurant on the packaging. Either way he smiled and gave a small wave. "Good afternoon." Kain said calmly.

Sonuske had been enjoying his favorite passtime, watching the clouds breeze by. He had fallen asleep, and awoken to find his partner Fate missing. Knowing him, he was out exploring the world. He never was one to sit still in one spot for too long, which is why they were almost polar opposites, yet they got along great. Pretty much, exactly like brothers.
He was enjoying himself, till dark forboding clouds start to roll in. When did they get here? He sighed, his whole planned out afternoon ruined. He sat up and knew he should find a shelter somewhere before it started to rain. Unfortunately, no sooner had the thought crossed his mind, the rain started to pour. "What a drag...." He thought sighing. Seeing no point in running, as he would be soaked regardless, he got up from his spot and walked towards the first building he saw, which he assumed to be a flower shop.
He walked through the doors, seeing two people, a man in armor, and a girl who seemed to be about to enjoy a meal. "Hey, don't mind if I chill here till the storm winds down do ya?" He asked, gesturing to the raging storm outside with his thumb, as his clothes dripped onto the floor of the building.

Walking down this whining road Raining days are all unknown I have hit the ground Calla was in heaven. One thing she absolutely loved about this world was the food. The flavors that exploded on her tongue, the different styles and ways one could prepare something astounded her completely. Back home, the food was always boring and there was usually hardly any kind of meat, seeing as most of the temple’s gardens were devoted to growing natural, organic food. After a while, it grew boring. At the sound of a thunderous bang, Calla jumped, frightened. Storms however, were something that she could do without.
“What I would do to banish the storms from the world,” she mumbled, remembering the young water elementals that always created the light, dream-like rain during the seasons on her world. Calla sighed, brushing some of her pure white hair behind her ear before continuing to eat. The small bell over her door rang and she looked up, a bit shocked at the sight before her. It was a man; at least, she guessed it was. It was hard to tell through the complicated armor the person wore. Though strange, it was a beautiful creation. His head turned toward her and she smiled as he spoke.
“Good afternoon to you too, sir. Please feel free to look around and don’t hesitate to call upon me if you require help,” she said in a cheerful voice. No sooner than she looked down, then her bell rang again. So many people on such an ugly day. She looked up once more. Yet again there was a boy at her door (this one without armor). His hair was a black color, head in a ponytail with the ends spiked up in a lazy manor. Like the other man, his clothes seemed like he was ready for combat. Then again, it seemed like many a people’s clothes here were. She nodded, her smile ever present on her rose-colored lips.
“Of course. There’s a couch and some chairs over there if you were like to rest,” Calla answered. She raised a hand, using a delicate finger to point in a corner where a love seat and two plush armchairs rested by a low coffee table in a dark wood. She took a moment to look down at herself. Was she supposed to always be dressed for battle, like most in this world? Her pastel pink silk blouse and black pants were hardly battle worthy. From under the bottoms, she could see her strappy black, high heeled shoes. Up, definitely not battle friendly. She hoped that she didn’t have to go into battle, really. She wasn’t too fond of fighting other than verbally.
Calla packed up the empty container of Chinese food and tossed it in the small blue, plastic garbage can next to the wall behind the counter. With a delicate grace, Calla slid off the stool, heels clicking on the floor as she walked from behind the counter.
“Would either of you like anything to drink while you wait?” she asked.
