Serah sat in her usual spot for hours unaware of the time that passed, or the citizens that walked by her as she admired the view of the sun setting. She was once again lost in her own thoughts about Lightning and Snow. Those two meant a lot to her, actually everything and she wished they would get along like friends do but feared that might never happen.
Serah knew her sisters was just doing what she thought was best in protecting her. Her methods might be cold at times, but she was just being the over protective sister she was. Serah understood that, after all her sister sacrificed so much so she could have a good life, but why couldn't Lightning see how much Snow meant to her, she wished her sister could give him a chance. "Just one would be enough" She said contemplating on the thought and how to make that possible.
The breeze gently hit her cheeks waking her up from her troubled thoughts. Soon as always a smiled found its way to her lips. "I will find a way....." She uttered with confidence and left her thoughts aside for now as her gaze now laid on the ocean and she let the sound of the waves fill her ears, and she lost herself in her past memories.

"Find a way to do what?" Snow asked as he was standing right behind her. Yeah he found her. Snow always was able to find Serah. No matter where she went. He had a goofy grin on his face as usual as he walked right up beside her and sat down with her...."What....? Thought I couldn't find you babe....?" He chuckled a bit as he placed a thumb on her cheek....He was always in a happy mood....He never looked down at Serah. She was in love with him any way....He loved her so much....And wanted to marry her so badly! He thought since Serah agreed to marry him it would be easy for the two of them to tell Lightning....He was wrong....He remembered that certain birthday party....The words that Lightning had said to him...
Snow looked out at the view then and just loved it....He loved the ocean! Everything about it...Was amazing. Snow then leaned his arms in the back of him and let the palms rest in the sand...As he just let the breeze hit his face as he closed his eyes and let everything around him but Serah become invisible....He was in love with her....There was no denying that.....He could picture her and him with a bunch of kids and just having a big family!

"Oh nothing...." Serah replied turning to smile as he flashed her his grin as always. "Just a way to get you and Light to be friends" she added with a chuckle at the thought. The idea was just crazy itself especially when Lightning and Snow were exactly the opposite. They had nothing in common but still Serah wasn't about to give up just yet. 'There had to be a way from the both to get along' she thought but let that thought rest for now as she turned to smile brightly at Snow.
"Out in the open in our usual spot..... no I never expected you to find me here" Serah teased with another chuckle as she turned to glance at Snow and nudged his shoulder playfully.

"Oh nothing...." "Just a way to get you and Light to be friends" "Out in the open in our usual spot..... no I never expected you to find me here" "You know how stubborn Light is....We'll find a way..." He smiled as he looked at her then. He dug his fingers deep in the sand then as he leaned back more and finally laid completely on his back on the sand and placed his hands on the back of his head as he let out a sigh...A happy sigh though. He was happy....With Serah he was always happy.
"So...What'd you have planned for today?" He was making small conversation. Just so there would not be a dead silence between them...Snow knew how this hurt Serah....The thing with her sister....Snow just knew that Light was only being the big sister she was....Protecting her sister from harm...Snow would do the same thing if Serah was his sister....But thankfully she was not. She was indeed going to be his future wife some day....And if he had to make Lightning see that he was able to be Serah's husband, then he better come up with a good explanation why he deserves Serah then....."Come on....Let's put our heads together....There has to be some thing to convince that stubborn sister of yours...." He chuckled....If Lightning was around right now then she would probably try and punch him out for saying that....

"Of course she is..... she is Lightning remember" Serah replied as she turned to glance at Snow with a tilted head with a smile still visible on her lips. "And we are sisters...... so that means I am stubborn too you know." She added with a chuckle, and once again nudged his shoulder playfully before lying back half way to relax. Serah always came to the beach for that reason, and as always the gentle breeze and the sound of the ways not to mention the magnificent view of the sun setting always provided the young girl with what she needed.
Serah knew she could just sit there for hours, and she did on some days whether alone, with a friend or Snow. She heard his question and turned her head to the side. "Oh nothing nothing you know me..... I always come here to relax without really having any plans what about you hero?" She asked with another chuckle.
Serah smiled at Snow's words and nodded. "I am sure we will think of some way to convince her...... it might take some time but we will find a way as long as we don't give up of course." She replied with a more serious tone than before as she turned to Snow.

Snow laughed out loud at the response she gave....He knew she was only teasing....He knew they were sisters....But they were so the opposite! "I know babe....But you are just the opposite of her...."
"Oh nothing nothing you know me..... I always come here to relax without really having any plans what about you hero?" "Hmmmm......I'm off duty today miss...." He teased again.....Even heroes needed their time offs..... "I am sure we will think of some way to convince her...... it might take some time but we will find a way as long as we don't give up of course." "Serah.....I'll find a way....I promise....Maybe I need to start punching her to listen to me huh? That was a joke babe...."

"Hm...... thats true" Serah admitting as she thought of her sister's personality. It was hard for people to believe those two were sisters seeing as they were exactly the opposite. Light took on the responsibility of raising me and sacrificed her own happiness for mine"
Serah stopped as she recalled a distant memory from the past. Back when both her parents were alive and well. "She used to laugh more and play games with me..... we were almost inseparable. She was so carefree and I just....... I just wish we could have that time back...."
Serah sighed again but with a smile this time as she laid back halfway to gaze up at the sky as it changed colors with the sunset, it looked so beautiful and no mater how many times she saw that view Serah never grew tired of it. "You know...... I can sit here for hours and never get bored." she added turning her gaze to Snow and chuckled "Well then since we both have the day off what do you suggest we do?"
She listened to Snow as her gaze turned to the sky once one, however at his words she instantly glanced back at him with worried eyes. "Punch her....?" Serah sighed in relief when he assured her he was joking. "Good you scared me there for a second.... if you do you will only be giving her an excuse to kill you....."

Light was like that...? Wow! I don't think I've ever heard her laugh at all..She's like totally tuned out every single emotion she has...."

"With you is enough to keep me from being bored babe....What ever you wanna do....." He then moved upwards and brought his knees to his chest and hugged them with his arms wrapped around them as he looked over at her and smiled.....He wanted to kiss her that's what he wanted...
"Punch her....?" "Good you scared me there for a second.... if you do you will only be giving her an excuse to kill you....."
"Haha!! No! I wouldn't give her that opportunity...But I might have already with our announcement to her about getting married....But still....I love you Serah....I'd whether die for you than you have pain....." He was slowly scooting closer to her to give her a kiss....They were in the right spot a very romantic spot the beach.....

"I wish things would go back to what they were before between us....I wish she would start searching for her own happiness because I already found mine." Serah added lifting her head as Snow came closer for a kiss. She closed her eyes before kissing him back and let a smile spread across her face.
"We could sit her if you want.... like I said I never get bored from this place you know its my favorite. Or we could go back to NORA's base and meet up with other members again?" Serah added recalling her first time to meet the team. At first she was hesitant but soon with Snow's help they all became good friends.
"Yeah your right..... plus she already dislikes you so better be careful around her...... don't go doing anything to provoke her alright I don't want to lose you now...." Serah replied still smiling as she soon leaned closer once Snow scooted closer for a longer more passionate kiss.

Snow smiled as he said that lowly...It would be nice to see Lightning happy again...Even though Light did treat Snow like dirt, Snow was the opposite with Light....He needed to make amends with Light soon and hopefully, Lightning would see that this was the real deal....Him & Serah being a couple....Why couldn't she see that he could protect her? Maybe in due time Lightning would......

Snow smiled big at that and looked over at her as she scooted closer and then saw that she was about to place a kiss on him....He continued to smile....This truly was a romantic spot. He leaned in as she was and kissed her. And placed a hand on the side of her face as he did. Every time she kissed him he got the chills....

"If it's alright with you, I'd like just be alone with you....We hardly ever get these chances....With your sister and all...Trailing us and keeping her watchful eye on me....I think that would be a bad idea going to NORA'S Base....I would like to go back though....And catch up on some old friends...But...No..That life is over....I'm with you now.....That's all that matters to me...."

He wanted to marry her with or with out Lightning's permission....Besides Serah already said yes! What was stopping them....? Serah was old enough to make her own choices....At least when Lightning was not around....That was the only person stopping them from marrying each other....Snow has pulled this one on Serah before....The getting married without Lightning's permission thing more than once.....Snow just wanted what Serah wanted....It pained him when ever they were not together....His mind would drift off to thinking that Lightning was telling that he was no good for her....Which was a lie! Why was this so hard for Lightning to accept? Of course Snow knew....Light never trusted him...."Forget it....It was a stupid idea...." He then looked down as he heaved a heavy sigh then.....When would the day come....?

Serah smiled and soon moved closed to lean on Snow as she rested her head on his shoulder. Her eyes still glanced up at the sky, it was just so beautiful she couldn't stop looking up. This was always her favorite spot especially at this time. "Its beautiful....." Those words escaped her lips in a whisper as she continued to admire the view of the sun setting.
The words about the old days were over though caught her by surprised causing Serah to lift her head up to meet Snow's eyes. "What do you mean those days are over.....?" She asked with a chuckle. "Are you telling me your no longer a hero Snow hm?" She asked teasingly as she nudged his shoulders with another chuckle.
Then however, his tone became serious as the question she feared came. Serah wished nothing more than to marry Snow, she was in love and wanted him in her life more than anything. But to do that behind her sister's back she couldn't. She loved Snow and Lightning more than anything. Those two meant the world to her and she couldn't consider the thought of losing one.
Serah's eyes gazed down to the floor with a sigh as she shook her head. "Snow..... nothing would make me happier believe me but..... I can't..... I can't so that to Light..... not after everything she did for me..... if I did I will...." She held back the tears at the thought. "I will lose her......"

"Its beautiful....." Snow too was admiring the majestic sky above them when Serah laid her head on his shoulder and he wrapped one large arm around her back….And pulled her closer to him…As his knees were bent and he just let the breeze hit his face then…This was a good day….

Snow chuckled at that response….That’s not exactly what he had meant….He meant the days of NORA was over. Not stop being a hero….”I’ll be a hero for you….” He then placed a hand on her cheek when she turned her head and looked at him…Man she was so beautiful….He would never ever stop being a hero for her….He dedicated himself to keep her safe. From all things that could harm her. Even though Lightning didn’t want him to, he still would do it….
"Snow..... nothing would make me happier believe me but..... I can't..... I can't so that to Light..... not after everything she did for me..... if I did I will...." "I will lose her......" He then wiped away her tears gently. And just starred into those big beautiful eyes of hers….And breathed in deeply before exhaling slowly….”Serah….You won’t loose me….Or Lightning. She can take care of herself…You know that…and take care of you at the same time. She’s just being the overly protective sister she can be with you….I understand that….But there comes a time when she has to let her little siste choose on her own…What is best for her….You Serah….You can make it on your own if you had to….I just know you could…I’m not gonna try any thing else with Lightning….Our last meeting, she was more than willing to kill me in a public place…I don’t think she would have….But, she was dead serious about me…If we have to…We can meet each other in secret. And just plan the wedding with or with out her. But I know how much it means to you to have her there….Until she gets this overly protective strive out of her system it’s not gonna be easy….” He knew that this would hard on both of them…And not just them but Lightning as well….Letting her little sister go….That was some thing that Snow knew Lightning would never do….
But if he had to, he would do everything and any thing to stay with Serah…He then leaned his fore head on hers then as he just let her be as close to him as she wanted to be. Who knew when ever they would be like this again?
