His attack had connected! Fate was sure he wouldn't catch the witch off guard like that again. But then a look of fustration fall upon the boy's face. His attack had hit perfectly yet it seemed like she wasn't really effected by it. Maybe I should have put more power behind it... Nah, just runaway marshmellow? ....Too soon to be jokin' 'round? Very soon. Attacking her again now wouldn't have been a smart move. Hell, Fate's first attack wasn't a smart move. But standing around while other fought wasn't something Fate could do.
He turned back to the girl who had healed him as she introduced herself. She didn't look much order than him. "Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Vanille," Fate smiled, "I'm Fate. Weird name, right?" From what was said between her and this Fang person, Fate was missing a lot of the story her. What the hell was a Fal'cie? From what was said it must have been some powerful being. Powerful being that this witch wanted to kill. "Ms. Vanille... Uh, now's not the time for this, but you have amazing eyes..." What? Fate was pretty sure that he might end up dying here so he might as well said what was on his mind. He smiled and waved slightly. He was also trying to keep himself calm. He was scared, but couldn't let that fear control him.
Fate looked over to Angeal, giving him a sheepish laugh. He rubbed the back of his head as his laughter came to a complete stop. He hated when people treated him like a kid. He wasn't a kid and he hadn't been one for fourteen years. Being experimented on could do that to you. Fate was clearly capable of fighting. If he died in a battle fighting for what he believed in then so be it. "No, I don't sir. I'm excatly where I need to be," Fate said, "Consider this more 'hands-on-training.' Besides, you said I needed to be more serious... Well, it doesn't get more serious than this." Fate stared at Angeal, his face showing no emotion at all. He was serious, dead serious (no pun intended ^0^). He was sure if they managed to survive he would have to deal with the wrath of Angeal. He just have to deal with it when the time came.
As Ultimecia fired off her black spears of energy, Fate's eyes grew wide. He slapped his hands together causing the electricity to crackle. He quickly threw his hands out in front of him, the crimson electricity extending out to create a solid shield. The shield expended out so that it would protect Fate and Vanille from the onslaught that was coming their way. Unfortunately, Fate wasn't 'charged' enough to expand the sheild out to reach the others without it losing its solid form. "Payback for healing me earlier Ms. Vanille." Fate was sure Angeal was capable of fending for himself and this Fang chick looked like she was too so he wasn't worried much about them. Fate's attention was drawn to the waters now. What the hell was this witch doing now? Maybe he should have listened to Angeal? No, too late to turn back now.

''I'm just saying you should...'', Angeal was cut off by Fang jumping in to attack, sort of like someone he knew actually (ZACK). Angeal reached his hand forward and grabbing nothing but air as she went around his arm. How rash could she be, clearly she should have noticed that this woman was on that other sh*t (Fate LMAO XD). But before he could rush in after her Fate began to yell at him and threw off his concentration. Fate had already jumped in and seen how ineffective his efforts were. Ugh...
Angeal had both Fang and Fate in one ear, taking in both of their sentiments and responding to Fate first. ''You know, If I wasn't confident in your abilities, I would be more insistent upon you leaving, but if I must battle, I would much rather it be with someone who I have proven battle ready myself'', he said making an allusion to his mini quarrel with Fate when they had first began training. Then Fang lunged forward and began her assault on the witch. Angeal couldn't et her go it alone, so he did what his honor yelled and screamed for him to do. He attacked. Moving at blinding speeds behind Fang, Angeal smirked as he began his assault of diagonally placed swings of his huge blade. As a final strike he thrust the blade towards the heart of the woman.
''Now is the time if you are gonna come in kid!'', Angeal yelled to Fate since he wanted to fight so valiantly on this day. Angeal hopped back to his place of initial spring and touched a hand to his blade causing it to glow a deep calming blue. He swung his blade in mid air causing two long slender blue blasts to come from his blade aimed st the sorceress. If effective the two attacks would do about enough damage to severely cut into her flesh depending on where they hit.
SOLDIER Honor, he murmured to himself, this was his way of asking himself what his next course of action should be. While he planned he took up a defensive stance preparing for any eventuality.

As her magic laced beams were being blocked and avoided by the heroes, the Sorceress watched in amusement, her “creation” was heading towards the shore as they attacked, and it seemed the group were beginning to become somewhat livelier. The short one with pink hair was throwing her dispels at Ultimecia, using her own skill in magic she fluidly rotated her hand to counter the spells with reflect, knocking them back towards the young magic user, not that she thought it’d have any effect since it did not appear as if the girl had up her own defences but there was no harm in it. It was not long before the other two made their appearance in the battle known. Ultimecia trailed her golden glare towards the black haired woman, and the one winged man.
With a loud battle cry she launched herself at the seated Sorceress, her spear slamming against her magical shield. It was quite some inhuman power, Ultimecia was certainly impressed by it, but it would not be enough alone. Sparks flew from the impacted as the attackers lance pushed against her own magic, when suddenly the other man whom had been watching to this point began is onslaught on her shield, his large blade slamming roughly against it, weakening quite considerably. The Sorceress muttered under her breath as he charged up his second attack, the shield too weak to block it with the other piercing it with her lance. As the two slender beams flew towards her, Ultimecia snarled and snapped out firmly. “Time!”
And within a sudden second, the blue beams, the people in the town centre came to a halt. Ultimecia let out a small sigh as she rose form her throne and gracefully glided around the lancer, and behind the entire group. As she did, she left dozens upon dozens of her bladed magical spears facing each of the enemy’s backs, Fang, Angeal, Fate, Vanille and the Templar. “To think I would need to use time kompression, even if only in a small amount. These khildren are quite the troublesome kollection” With a graceful twirl, Ultimecia turned back to face the group, her wings carrying her to a hover in the air, gazing down at their backs, her magic ready to strike as time was returned. “Enough.” As quickly as it was taken away, time returned to the shore and town centre, the magic blades shooting towards the heroes from their short distances. Though not piercing attacks, more blunt but with a powerful charge of magical energy. At the same time a large dinosaur like monster thrust through the waters surface on the sandy beach, the size of a building, and as long as several, blades along its tail, walking on all fours with a long stretching neck. It began to clamber towards the battlefield, roaring loudly. (Is that a boss battle!?)

"Think... Think..." Templar keeps on thinking his another tactic before leaps for his another strike. Powerful sorceress against several heroic individuals, including Templar himself. Still holding his psi-blade, Templar unholstered his pistol and holds it in his left hand. He saw the sorceress was snapped and immediately casts her magic again.
Suddenly his movement was stopped and he couldn't move, it's the time-stopping spell if he's not mistaken. Templar struggles to move but still, he was stuck as if something pulls his feet, preventing him from moving. Suddenly the time went back to normal again and Templar breathes in deeply, exhales out as he can move again. "Mactavish! Behind you! Lookout!" the warnings in his earpiece from his subordinate, Templar look at his back and saw the magical missiles coming towards to him, when did the missiles appeared behind him?
Yells out in warcry, Templar slashes the magical missiles in fury with his psi blade but there's too many of them, and one of them scratches Templar's cheek. He successfully blocked and avoided the missiles, and this time Templar was slightly furious about the dirty attack from the sorceress. Suddenly, a monster emerges from the sea and Templar looks at it but he is not afraid, for he has been encountered many monsters before. "Enrica, calls in air support and artillery on this son of a bitch." Templar orders his subordinate to use her radio to call in support, in order to kill the monster severely. Look back towards the sorceress, Templar ready his stance after wipes the blood off his face.
Fighting Theme
Templar strafes to his left as he fires his pistol single-handed at the sorceress and then went out of bullets, he charge towards the sorceress with his psi blade and leaps on the air, strikes his psiblade towards the sorceress but his missed.

Hopeful DreamerWishes can come true. But not if you just wait for miracles. Miracles are things we make for ourselves. Here, and now.Vanille knew her debuffs probably wouldn’t work, but when they were reflected back on her, she simply smiled a bit and smirked some. Her cheery disposition was always around even in the worst of times, and in battle. Vanille simply removed the debuffs from herself with a few casts of Esuna. Her mind was distracted between Fate, the sorceress, and Fang’s safety. But she kept up to speed easily. Her eyes glanced at Fate as he spoke. “It’s nice to meet you two Fate…and believe me…it’s a nice name.” She said quietly as she was prepared to shoot off anymore magic or what not for defense. Of course she was more ready to jump into her Medic role just in case someone got hurt. Fate’s comment about her eyes made her cheeks turn a light pink color as she giggled a bit, wow this really wasn’t the time to get Vanille off guard like that but of well. “T-thank you.” She smiled at Fate. Vanille decided then she wouldn’t worry too much about Fang and the winged man by her, they seemed tough enough to handle themselves, as did the soldier, Templar, all Vanille really needed to worry about was making sure that everyone was healed at all times. The shield that had come in front of her was probably helpful. She smiled at Fate as to say thank you but then everything froze. Oh no. Time had stopped and this…this witch had a chance to get a brutal attack in. Once time had come back, Vanille felt the magic hit her back, she wasn’t able to dodge it. With a high squeal Vanille sulked for a minute before taking in a deep breath. Magic tended to hurt but she would be fine, a few casts of cure and she would be good as new, and that’s what she did before scanning her green eyes quickly around to everyone else to see if they were all okay. If they had dodged the magic attack, good for them, if not, Medic was on stand by. But…something made Vanille almost shake in her ankle cut boots as she turned and saw the beast emerge from the water. It reminded her of something she would see on Gran Pulse. Her eyes widened as she now desperately wanted to summon her Eidolon, Hecatoncheir. If Fang could summon Bahamut and Vanille her own Eidolon, that’d be a great deal of help, but Vanille decided to wait and see what this group of people could pull out of their sleeves first. “What…is that thing!?” Vanille squeaked, her eyes locked on the beast rather than the Sorceress behind all this chaos.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” She didn’t have the time to look at the young man that was so entranced by Vanille, so busy focusing on the present was she. Looking completely calm and not worried what so ever about going into battle she was collected inside and ready to battle inside. She had seen that Angeal had tried to grab her as she slipped past him, but no one was going to stop her, not him or anyone else. Just because he was one of the strongest, biggest looking people she had ever seen didn’t mean anything. She hit the shield this woman had put up, and though she didn’t crack it, she felt it weaken considerably under her lance. She just smirked as she met the woman’s eye, her own telling her to go to hell. Withdrawing her lance she readied herself for another attack when suddenly Angeal was beside her, swinging his ridiculously big sword around and helping her crack the defense even more. “Just keep at it Angeal, keep attacking, don’t stop for anything!” She spoke loudly to him while suddenly she jumped a few steps back and set her feet, readying herself even more. Seeing the look on her face she suddenly knew something big was going to happen, something that wouldn’t be easy. Twirling her lance the sharp blades retracted and she threw it to her left hand and curled her body to the side, hand outstretched, suddenly her defensive magic Vendetta, this would make her next attack stronger while she was defending herself from any attack that would reach her. And then suddenly the sorceress muttered and then she felt a pounding of her heart, but she couldn’t move. Time seemed to stop, she seemed to be entrapped, she couldn’t move, no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t break free from the arms that grasped her. Eyes were open, able to see but she couldn’t move as suddenly magics were thrown at her, at everyone. She suddenly felt time returned to normal, but she was still in her defensive mode, magic came from her lance and formed a protective barrier around her. She felt one of the magics hit her lance and it made her wrist numb as she took in a deep breath and jumped up in the air to avoid the other attacks thrown at her. Her left wrist was numb, so throwing her lance over to her right hand she shook her hand, trying to return the feeling to it. She wouldn’t be as effective with her weapon if her hand had no feeling in it. She felt it stinging as the feeling returned and twirled it around in both hands again, this time she was ready for action. She focused on the sorceress as suddenly her jaw dropped and eyes opened wide. A large dinosaur suddenly tromped into the open, rawring at them. “What the bloody hell…?!” She said out loud, her eyes alternating between the Sorceress and the dinosaur. Should she summon Bahamut now? She figured she would wait a minute, but she was going to leave that dinosaur for someone else. She was going to keep attacking the sorceress. “Angeal focus your attacks on the sorceress.” She hissed out to him as she jumped at the sorceress again, her lithe body twisting as she hit her with attack after attack, never backing up, but throwing physical attack after physical attack toward her magic barrier, her bladed lance sparking as she hit it again and again, hoping that Angeal would start attacking as well. “Any time would be great handsome!!!”

~Romantic Dreamer~ "The way I see it, as long as you come out of the battle alive, you're one step closer to your dream." The motorbike roared loudly as he sped through the islands streets, sweeping and dodging past the fleeing and gossiping people. The words of madness, a L’cie, magic and destruction occurring were what caught the Knights attention. Seifers’ long light grey trench coat blew heavily from the pressure of wind due to the speed of his bike, his blonde hair, though short, still shaking as the wind pushed against him. A light smirk grew on his lips as he came nearer and nearer, to an old ally who was destroying this place at her whim. It seemed travelling between worlds was not difficult, strangely. He would have been happy remaining in Centra but the tides of fate were travelling somewhere else, his romantic dream not yet completed. The ground had become more crumbled, sand not far off in the distance, and giant lizard like beast crawling out of the water. The rider quirked his brow at the sight in the distance, it seemed Ultimecia was using those crazy powers of hers, for once he wondered where puberty boy, chicken wuss and the rest of the reject brigade were, she was their enemy to defeat at the end of the day. Though he could have a little play time while he waited. As he heard the sounds of battle not too far ahead, his sped up his bike, lowering his body somewhat and darted in the direction of the town square. As the battled roared on in the square, magic being thrown, a trio attacking the Sorceress, another pair sitting together not far off, and the creature coming from the sea, the ride turned a corner, and sped up ramp of wreckage. Coming over the top of the group, he turned the bike upside down, and with a swift flick of his wrist, a long gunblade slide from his trench coat, his finger pulling at the trigger. A series of bullets exploded from the weapon as he rotated overhead, though each most likely being blocked by the witches’ magic. With one last spin, his bike going off in some random direction, most likely into the nearby sea, the trench coated individual landed into a brief skid between Vanille and Fate on the ground. With a flash of movement, his Hyperion aimed sideways towards the Sorceress, his green blue eyes settled on the woman, while a slim smirk touched his lips. “To think you’d make such a mess.” One hand slowly ran over his slicked back blonde hair as he continued his rather arrogant entrance. “How very much unlike you, Ultimecia.”Seifer Almasy quickly flicked a gaze over the rest of the battle squad, one being a rather woman skilled woman with a lance, quite the looker too, along side a man with black hair and a wing? Well the odd ones were always pretty tough. There seemed to be a soldier of some sorts, and behind him, a youngish looking guy he couldn’t quite recall, and a pink haired little thing. The blonde haired gun blade specialist smirked back to the pair quickly, before looking ahead. “Look after that pretty thing, yeah. She has a thing for girls with magical skills.”After his mocking comment, the blonde darted forward himself, joining in the onslaught from the other pair, several fire spells exploding from his palm towards the Sorceresss, followed by a ripping of Hyperion, thrusts and slices within quick succession. It was a bit reckless of him, he was aware of what Ultimecia was truely capable of and didn't doubt she'd go to town on this place without a considerable force to stop her. Though the fact she had shown her face at all meant something in this world was significant enough for her to do so. Whatever it was, he had some redeeming to do, and a new Romantic dream to fulfill. With any luck, he wouldn't die a gruesome death along with everyone else. That'd be pretty lame.

A nice name? Vanille had thought the boy had a nice name. And it was a nice name! "Thanks. A lot of people thinks it's a weird name," He smiled slightly, "But it is unique. Haven't met another Fate yet." Okay, why was he making conversation in this type of situation? They were fighting for their lives yet they found time to chat! Seeing Vanille's cheek turn a slight pink made Fate smile. He must have said something right. "No thanks needed. I could feed you compliments as day if you like," He added, "Unfortunately, I don't think now would be a good time to start."
Fate was silent now as he watched what was going on. Fang and Angeal had when into attack and Fate just sat back waiting for the right moment. As Angeal called out to Fate he quickly placed his right hand on the hilt of Freedom. This was his chance! The onslaught of attacks by Fang and Angeal was getting to the witch and now Fate could come in, hopefully planting a kill. But before Fate could unsheath his blade and even move time had stopped. Once Ultimecia released her hold on time Fate stepped forward, unsheathing the blade, only to be attack from the back. Being hit with the magical spears, causing the boy to lose his balance. How? How did we get hit from behind? Fate looked over to see that the same thing had happen with Vanille.
Fate's eyes were locked on the biker guy who just made his appearance. The scar on his face the man's face, the trenchcoat, and that wicked gunblade. This was, this had to be Seifer. The Seifer, Squall Leonhart's rival. Fate had never met the guy personally, but just about everyone from their world knew him, especially those from Gardens. "Mr. Seifer Almasy?" But what came out of Seifer's mouth stuck fear in the boy's heart. Ultimecia! This witch was Ultimecia! Fate had thought that she was a myth; a story that people of his world made up. Besides, in the stories he heard she was killed. "This is Ultimecia? The Ultimecia?" He asked, "She's... real? Isn't she suppose to be dead, if so?"
Well, Fate would have gladly loved to shake the hand of Seifer and maybe some advice on fighting too, but now wasn't the time. Pull yo'self together man. It's just one witch... That can control time. Hey, at least we got the numbers on our side, right? Fate took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He had almost forgotton about the creature that came from the water. Fate watched as Seifer ran off to join the others in taking down the witch. Fate was thinking the same thing, but knew someone would have to try and take down the beast. He sighed, staring at the ugly creature. "Leave the pretty boy to do the ugly work..." He rubbed the back of his head, "I better get some major experience points if I defeat this thing..." He grabbed the hilt of freedom and unsheathed his blade, holding it in his right hand. He was pretty sure this thing was way stronger than him, but chances were that its movement would be slow. He held his left hand out as bolts of crimson electricity danced around his arm. Snapping his finger, he sent a bolt of electricity toward the beast's right eye, hoping to blind it in one eye. For now, he would keep his distance from the creature.

Angeal felt the time stop, seemingly his breathing had stopped as well, yet the poof of air he took in prior to the time pause seemed to sustain him until it was over. He looked down not noticing the magic being hurled toward him, and by the time he looked up it was in his face, a Firaga, a Thundaga, and a Blizzaga all hit him at once sending him flying back through a car and smashing into a wall. Angeal sat there for a moment, blood running down his face, and from his side where a sharp piece of glass had pierced his skin. ''AGH! Damnit!'', he yelled out trying as hard as he could to get up to help Fang. Luckily his wing absorbed some of the shock and allowed him to get up. He held onto his side as blood dripped from his arm and fell carelessly to the ground making a small pool beside him.
Breathing heavily he picked his blade up which had fell from his hand as he was struck. He seemed to be able to fight still, even though he was in immense pain, Angeal poised his blade forward blood falling onto his sword. ''AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!'', he let out a battle cry fit for that of a lion. As the sound escaped Angeal dashed forward a little more slowly than he had before and began unleashing lightning fast combo's at the sorceress.
Why the hell was he fighting so hard for this place? Was he born here? No. Does anyone he loves live here? Not exactly. Maybe the true meaning of Angeal's honor, his creed so to speak was to protect all the people no matter what world they were from. His student Fate was here, he had to show him at least that honor, true honor was the ability to have holy hell beat out of you and still have the courage and strength to get up and fight for your own beliefs, and loved ones. Angeal's blood began to ooze out and caused him to breathe even more heavily. Angeal's wing sort of mangled carried him to the ground where he tried his hardest to stand.
He could not default on this enemy, no matter what power she had, not even Sephiroth had ever caused Angeal this much pain. Clutching his side Angeal held his sword pointed at Ultimecia with one hand and struggled to hold it up. His vision blurred, breathing heavy, Angeal still somehow found the strength to lunge in for one more assault. He jumped forward and began to swing in fine form, as well as fashion. The diversity of the strokes ranged from diagonal, horizontal, and vertical. As the last blade was swung Angeal fell to the ground on one knee and one hand still holding his blade towards her.
Then all of a sudden a rumbling came from the sea area, Angeal's head turned to see a large creature emerging from the water. ''This just is not my damn day'', he said.

A black ruby lipped smirk ran over the Sorceress expression as she watched the struggle against her. They were a fine collection of warriors, all with their powers and strengths, all with their own weaknesses to match. The soldier launched at her once again after calling in for aid against her creature she brought from the depths of Cocoons waters, his blade narrowly missing her, as she flicked her wrist, an explosion on energy and air magic aimed between them and towards him to knock the soldier back at some strength and range. Her attention was taken from seeing if it hit or not as the blue dressed lancer came for her again, she was the most frisky of the group, though the most useless to Ultimecia. The dark haired man had taken his share of damage as well, and began his own counter. Ultimecia slowly backed away with their attacks hitting her shields, though it was weakening, it was likely they would get through soon. The winged warrior collapsed however from exhaustion from his wounds, leaving only the lancer on the assault.
The large creature from the sear clawed its way onto the shore, roaring loudly, its scales thick and body hard. Under the Sorceresses control it gazed for its chosen victims, the pair further from the fighting. It slowly began its advance, until suddenly PSICOM fighter ships came into view, firing relentlessly towards the creature, bullets tearing at its scales. With a might roar, the long necked creature owned its jaw wide, a bright red light forming at the tongue, before suddenly a huge beam launched itself from the mouth, ripping through two the ships. It was a magical enhancement placed there by the Sorceress; it was her new toy after all.
Ultimecia threw up her defences against the lancer, though her attention was briefly stolen by another attacker, bullets raining down on her. One hand shot up to deflect the newcomers attack, her golden eyes glaring towards him as he landed between her and the other two. As he mocking spoke to her, she replied in turn, her other hand still holding her energy shields. “Who let you off your leash, boy. I kan not imagine you doing anything note worthy without me holding your khain.” And soon he was also on the attack, blade slashing down madly towards her shield. The attacks continued, not giving her time to bring out any spells. The Sorceresses brow twitched in annoyance, until she finally twisted her body, one foot slamming into the knelt down SOLDIER, the other grasping hold on the L’Cies lance firmly, her increased strength for such a slim body being something inhuman, and finally her other hand firing an array of ice spears into Seifer, slamming him backwards and rolling along the ground back to the Vanille and Fate. Her eyes settled on the pink haired one, muttering the words “Silence” the spell in casing the young magic user.
The giant beast roared in anger and bloodlust as the young boy damaged his eye heavily. Its’ head shaking madly and jaw snapping cruelly. Though this state of disarray was short and sweet, it was not long before the creature returned its’ focus to the group on the shore side, its jaw opening wide, and a red light beginning to form.
The silver haired woman held the lance tightly, lightning magic running from her hand, through the metal and into her attacker. She began her speeches she loved so much. “Quite the valiant group we have here on this world. I must say. Though you are ignorant to the very kore. What I do is for the greater good for more than your pathetic home world, you are all expendable. But I will not explain the obviousness, and leave you to learn why alone. Perhaps you will attempt to do what I am doing not long from now, It will be an amusing sight to behold, I am certain. For now, I bore of this.” With a swift launching of her wrist, the lancer would likely find herself now impacting with the wounded SOLDIER. Her eyes briefly settled on Seifer, a smirk on her lips. “And my old Knight… Struggle and struggle, they will never accept you.” With a mockingly filled laughter Ultimecia turned from the group, a blackness swallowing her form, and soon she was no more, vanishing from their sight with a rather excessive display of dark magical lights.
The Beast however, was still on the war path.

Like a flies away from explosion, Templar were beat and pushed back by the sorceress's offensive magic. Crashes on the wall behind him, Templar gurgles and coughs slight blood out from his mouth, and landed on the floor violently. Few ribs were broken, thanks to the sorceress magic force.
His eyes later were fading as he watch the others keep on fighting against the monster. He wants to join too but he was already heavily wounded by the sorceress magic, he was desperately need some aid as he couldn't move even his finger.

Hopeful DreamerWishes can come true. But not if you just wait for miracles. Miracles are things we make for ourselves. Here, and now.Oh there were so many things to be paying attention to. Vanille’s eyes were moving everywhere, from Fang to Fate, to Ultimecia, to Templar, to Angeal, to the beast approaching, and to the newcomer Seifer. Vanille was about to say something back to Fate and summon her Eidolon but she was distracted when a guy in a trench coat seemed to appear between her and Fate. More help, and more people to watch over. She nodded at the man whom Fate called Mr. Seifer, so she figured if she was Ms. Vanille, he was just Seifer, as she was just Vanille. The name of the sorceress had been released, that made things a little easier, Vanille could ask some people later about her, but now, she had to focus. When Fang went for attack beyond attack, Vanille was just worried to death about her friends safety, this Angeal guy better know what he’s doing and help Fang out as much as possible. Vanille would’ve helped, but she was focusing on the beast the sorceress had called to help her out, or something like that. Once Fate had damaged its eye a small smile made its way to Vanille’s face as she casted a few deprotects on the thing then started smacking it with all sorts of magic. Some blizzaga, thundaga, firaga etc. “Fate! They’re taking down that sorceress…Ultimecia or whatever she is, maybe we can take down this…thing?” She more or less asked keeping her binding rod in her hands when she wasn’t casting magic. The bad thing about all this help was, everyone seemed to be getting hurt now. Vanille took her attention off of the dinosaur beast thing and looked around. Templar was in no condition to fight, Angeal sure didn’t look that great either, and that Seifer guy was just attacked with ice spears! Now was the time to break out all the curing spells. ”It’ll be okay!” Vanille shrieked as she casted out a few Curaja’s towards other heroes to try and heal them some before she was attacked with the spell of silence. Now nothing would work. Time to do things the old fashioned way, hopefully the spell would wear off shortly seeing as now, the sorceress had retreated from the fight leaving the heroes with just a beast to defeat. Easy right? Well not when you depended on magic and you couldn’t use any now. Vanille took a step back from the beast as she gripped her binding rod even more. This spell had to wear off before she could help. For now, it was up to everyone else…and Vanille also still had some more curing she had to do if this was going to be any easier on this group.

[~Lithe Dragoon~] ”I'll tear down the sky if it'll save her!” Fang barely noticed the blonde man that jumped into the action, although out of the corner of her eye she thought to herself that he seemed all to familiar with the woman in front of her. She continued to attack the woman, her green eyes gazing with an intent focus, not looking around at what was going on around her. After time had resumed she had only looked at Vanille, so worried about her, but saw that she was able to take care of herself with her magic abilities. That was when she heard the battle cry and turned her head to see Angeal charging in with her. With renewed zeal she continued snapping her lance here and there, making every hit count and throwing her entire body into it. And then suddenly he was on his knees, blood gushing out of his wounds and she realized she had gotten off easy. Her green eyes flashed to him, “Angeal!!” She yelled out at him, hesitated a moment and her lance stopped attacking in that same moment. She took a step toward him before realizing where she was again. Besides, she didn’t know him, he meant nothing to her…but he had helped her fight, so that meant she had to look out for him. In that moment the sorceress had moved, her movements fast. “HEY! Get the bloody hell away from him!” She said angrily as she moved in and stepped on his chest. She was going to teach the sorceress just who she was dealing with. Her lance was being pulled from her grasp, but she tightened her grip and held on, green eyes boring into the woman’s. “Damnit!” she hissed out between her gritted teeth as she hung on with all her strength and dug her heels into the ground beneath her. Magic began to wrap its way up the lance toward her hands as she glared at it and the woman and gritted her teeth. How the hell was she going to get out of this one?! She felt it start to go into her body as she stood there, matching the woman for everything, but her spirit couldn’t ever be broken. “If that’s what you choose to think love.” She said arrogantly, even with the magic in her, making her hurt like hell she still kept her calm and was thinking. She felt herself weakening, but stubbornly she wouldn’t let go, her anger began to boil as she stood there, and then her lance was released. She fell to her knees and groaned a bit, eyes closing slowly as her lance fell out of her numb hands and she put them to her chest. “Bahamut…” she said softly, her fingers grasping at her crystal as she struggled to breath in. Gathering her strength she forced her legs to stand and threw the crystal up into the air, a groan left her lips, turning into a yell. “aghhhhhhhhhhh!!” before falling to her knees again, her spirit not broken even so physically beat. Fang shaped crystal began to transform, and suddenly what some might think to be another beast came from it. Roaring it opened its wings and swopped down, landing with a thud behind her. She glanced up at it, barely registering that the sorceress had disappeared. Panting softly, she smiled and lifted her hand weakly, regaining her strength, slowly, but it was still coming back. “Good love, lets get to work shall we?”

~Romantic Dreamer~ "The way I see it, as long as you come out of the battle alive, you're one step closer to your dream." Seifer and the Pulse L’Cie Fang were continuing their onslaught of attacks upon the Sorceress, the tanned woman briefly pulling back to check on her friend whom seemed badly injured after his own charge. Seifer twirled Hypersion, the weapon being in cased in a red flame as his power charged, preparing to unleash a striking attack. Suddenly Ultimecia seemed to have had enough of the battle, taking out Angeal and disarming Fang, and lastly sending a barrage of ice spears towards himself. He remembered this spell, it was used to defeat Squall in Deiling city years ago. The ice spears shot towards him, the blonde former knight swiftly striking to deflect what he could, but the sheer impact of the woman’s power sent him flying backwards. Seifer briefly rolled along the ground, before hoping back to his feet and skidding a short distance more. As he regained his footing, Ultimecia was speaking, thunder surging through the female warrior. She finally set her attention on Seifer before her dramatic departure. The tall blonde gazed over where she was not a moment before, his teal eyes furrowed by a slight brow. Accept him? Like he cared about something like that… or did he? This woman certainly knew Seifer well, maybe even better than he knew himself. Seifer Almasy shoved the thought aside as he glanced over to his right, the huge beast beginning its advancement and charging it’s huge beam. He had briefly witnessed its power previous as it blew several ships out of the sky. Its mouth was aimed towards the young girl and the lad who seemed to know who he was, from his world perhaps. Letting out a small sigh, he arrogantly ran his hand over his slicked back hair, and turned on his heel, his body dashing towards the beast. With a burst of air he swiftly passed Fate whom had wounded its eye already, which Seifer decided to use to his advantage. He swiftly charged down its right side, into the creatures now blind spot and leaped upwards into the air. Upon becoming level with the beasts head, he drew back Hyperion and swung wit massive burst of energy, the beasts head being sent off in an odd direction, causing the huge beam to be fired off into the sly. The blonde landed on the sand with another skid as the beast shook its head recovering, though as counter it lifted one of its many legs and slam down onto him. With a twist of his body Seifer rotated out of the impact, again swinging Hyperion at the attacking leg, and sending it flying off into the water. A gush of blood flowed from the wound, the beast roaring in rage and pain. “Go to town on it, this big sonnavabitch can take a pounding.” Seifer said mockingly, as he prepared to his next strike.
