At the bar..(OPEN)

Matsu had been wandering around the streets of Gaia for quite a while now. She later on gotten tired and thirsty. Luckily she seen a bar down the street from where she's standing. "I feel so lazy and weak right now, like my brother Sonuske." She said to herself. "Sometimes I wish I could just teleport." She sighed. "Oh yeah I can !.. Sometimes I just have my dumb moments." She giggled. Matsu used her Flower Petal Escape to teleport to the bar. She opened her eyes and seen that her tricked worked, except there was a pile of petals scattered across the floor. "Ooppsies." She gasped while placing her hand slightly over her mouth. Matsu use her index finger to blow all the petals out the door. "Pheww, the bar hostess would've been pissed at me." Matsu uttered while swiping her forehead. Matsu walked over to the bar and asked the lady... "Hii, uhmm do you guys sell sprite, because I'm not really an alcoholic?" She said with a petite smirk upon her face. Matsu sat down waiting for the lady to answer the question..

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tifa considered the thought of closing the bar for a day or more for a moment. She was exhausted beyond words, but she sighed in the end shaking her head knowing very well she couldn't do that. No matter how tired she was she couldn't consider that option unless it was absolutely necessary, she reminded herself and soon the thought faded as quickly as it came.

"Hm...." She thought walking into the kitchen to prepare another order. 'Maybe if its not another busy night then I can close the place early....' a smile formed on Tifa's lips at the thought. She considered that to be her best option to get some rest really, and hoped she would soon.

"Here you go...." Tifa said handing another consumers order before returning to her place behind the counter. She only got a chance to sit down for a few minutes to rest her legs when another entered the bar. She smiled instantly getting up to her feet to greet the new costumer with her famous smile. "Hello welcome to Seventh Haven.... and of course we have everything here.... would you like to order anything else....."

Matsu smiles as she places her hands on the damp, ice cold glass. "Thank you, for the drink.." She says taking a sip of the thirst quenching beverage. Matsu felt so refreshed.. She had been hoping for a sprite all day. "No thanks, I think this sprite is all I need." She said. Matsu thought about it. "Well I haven't had a sprite in ages." She mumbled to the lady. "Can you get me like ...... 12 more sprites please.?" She said while scratching the back of her head. Matsu thought about asking her brother Sonuske if he wanted to come join us, but maybe he would be too lazy to even think about moving. The thought of moving would like strain him from not moving for another 2 days.

Matsu drunk her first sprite and sat it to the side, waiting for her next twelve to appear. She had been thinking about what her mother said to her the other day..(Flashback: "Matsu you need to take your but down some where and apply for a job. So you can get over this insane obsession with the computer." Her mother yelled. Matsu rolled her eyes at what her mother said. "Ok, mom I'll think about it." She mumbled.)

Matsu wandered maybe the might be hiring here. She thought she would never end up thinking about becoming a bar hostess. She has questions that needed to be answered. Why ask myself when I'm sitting in front of a bars hostess right now.. "So lady before I ask you some question about the place, I would like to tell you my name .." Hello my name is Matsu Asama." She said while placing her hand in front of the lady tempting her to shake hands with Matsu. "What's it like working here? Is the place always clean? Are all the costumers mean & nasty? How much do you get paid? Is it fun being alone? What are the hours you have to work? Do you ever get anything free/Is the manager nice? Do you like working here? Would you ever quit it here? May I have a job?" She said while taking no brakes of stopping the chain of questions. Matsu took a deep breath waiting for the woman to answer. She thought maybe she shouldn't have been so rough on her hitting her with all those questions. She should have just done them one by one. But, Matsu thought if she did them one by one it would take to long. So she said to herself.."What the heyy!, I might as well ask now then wait on each and every answer one by one."

Tifa was surprised no one ever ordered this much before usually they just came to her bar to eat or drink, maybe even order some cake but never twelve sprite before. Still though she smiled looking at the new customer "Let me see if I have that number first....." She said disappearing into the kitchen again. It took Tifa a few minutes before returning back to the counter with a try filled with sprite.

"Your lucky we have enough here you go enjoy...." Tifa said placing the tray on the counter where the girl sat. She turned her attention to her once again when the girl asked for her name. She smiled but complied as she provided her with an answer. "I am Tifa Lockhart.... and its nice to meet you Matsu Asama..."

Tifa turned to finish her work but her attention returned to Matsu when she started asking all those questions about working in the bar. "uh slow down Matsu..... why are you asking all of these questions?" She asked tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she waited for an answer to come. Tifa would gladly provide Matsu with all those answers if she was eager to know, but she was curious of the reason behind those questions. She smiled at her before taking a seat herself to rest for a few minutes.

Matsu still felt bad for asking her all those questions. She heard Tifa telling her to slow down, but she couldn't stop, because she just felt like she had to keep going. Its like she was time, she never stopped for a second. "The reason I asked you these barrage of questions is because. I need a job and I was hoping I could get one here because this is the only place that doesn't look disgusting." She said with curiosity. "And by the way thanks for the sprites Tifa. "Matsu said grabbing her first drink. She quickly starting to drink them as fast as she could one bye one. Next thing ya know, all of her cups were empty. There was nothing inside the cups but really dry ice. Matsu likes to make sure there is not a single drop of liquid inside her empty cups.

"Well, uhmm before you go back behind the bar... May you come and take a seat please?" She questioned. Matsu waited for Tifa to answer the questions she asked. So while waiting her eyes wondered over to the corner and Matsu seen there was some trash on the floor. "Hmpph." She whispered. Matsu blew a gust of wind out of her mouth, powerful enough to make the trash float up and fall into the garbage can.

“Your welcome Matsu….” Tifa replied still smiling as always. She turned to glance at the other customers seeing everyone enjoying their meals and drinks. At that her smile widened before her gaze and attention returned to Matsu. “Well enjoy your sprite while I start cleaning the place….”

She was about to start with the dishes when Matsu called her again. “Hm?” She asked turning back to face her when she remembered the questions asked earlier.

“Oh right so you’re considering of working in a bar huh?.... to be honest…. Its very hectic especially on full days when the bar is packed with customers…. At the end I am always exhausted to do anything…. Also I have to wake up early to clean the place and prepare it for a second day before opening…..” She paused for a moment to catch her breath as she took a quick glance around the bar once again before continuing.

“The customers…. Well usually they are alright but sometimes a few get in a fight or get drunk…. That is a problem at times…. “ Tifa paused again but only for a second before letting that smile return to her lips. “That’s about it really…. Does this answer all your questions?”

"Thanks for the answers." She said smiling as for right now. Matsu decided that she may not wanna work here probably. But she just thought working here would make her and Tifa become friends. She realized that she didn't have to work here to become friends with her. "So when do you get off from work?" She questioned. Matsu hasn't really had friends since she left the Sekirei for awhile, but she's still in it though. Matsu Asama waited for Tifa to respond. After she got the response Matsu was gonna head home for a nap.... On the computer...!tehee!

Tifa saw the expression change on Matsu's face and wondered if it could be from the answers she provided? perhaps working in a bar wasn't what she expected. She could tell somehow from her expression that Matsu might have changed her mind about working, though Tifa wouldn't blame her a lot of people did once they knew how life in the bar was like.

When Tifa considered that she wasn't really sure why she was still working there, but then reminded herself of the kids she was taking care of Marlene and Denzel, and then there was Cloud and the wedding she had coming up. Tifa smiled brightly at that thought, but tried to suppress it once her mind snapped back to reality. "Get off?" She paused turning to glance at the clock to notice it was almost time for closing. "In just a few more minutes..... about an half an hour...."

Matsu felt bad that she didn't want to take the job anymore. She felt as if Tifa needed someone around to help her and also someone to socialize with as well. "Well, since I might not be taking a job here, we can still be friends right?" Matsu said smiling at her. Matsu needed some girl time in her life. Every time she would be out she'd either be alone or with her brother(s?) and his friends. "So I know we've just met and all but are you seeing someone special, and are you guys getting married or already married?" Matsu said drinking her sprite still. She's been busy talking so she didn't have time to finish the drink as fast as she wanted. Matsu waited for Tifa to respond to the questioning. Matsu wanted to make sure that she wasn't getting on her nerves asking all this valuable information, so she said... "Before you answer me, I just wanna make sure is it a problem that I'm asking you a bunch of questions..?" She said!

"oh its alright...." Tifa assured her with a smile. "A lot change their mind once they know how working in a bar really is so no worries and yeah we can be friends." she added with a brighter smile as she watched Matsu drink her sprites. She paused for a moment recalling she had never seen her before in Midgar. It could be that she was from another town or perhaps another world? "So where are you from by the way.....?"

Tifa smiled as a question about Cloud came as she glanced down at her ring remembering the engagement. "Yeah...... I am..... he is my childhood friend and someone I always liked...." She explained her smile widening even more. "No its alright...... I don't mind...." she added assuring her it was alright.

Matsu felt relieved that she wasn't coming on to strong with the questioning and things. She was also happy that she said that they could be friends, even if she didn't take the job at the bar.

Matsu listened to the question she asked and she replied to her by saying, "Well I was originally born in Cocoon(FFXIII), but I have been traveling from place to place ever since I learned how to walk and take care of myself. I'm not here to stay or anything just for the moment." She informed while taking the last sip of her drink.

Matsu listened as Tifa told her how she was engaged to a childhood friend that she always liked. She looked at the ring and thought it was beautiful."Wow, that is some ring.. Its beautiful." She said as a compliment. Matsu decided she best gets moving on before it starts to get dark. She got up from the table grabbing her drink and placing it on the counter.

"Well, I think its time for me to head home so maybe we'd see each other another time, maybe tomorrow." She said hoping for a response. Matsu headed for the door and hoped the wind would be blowing when she stepped outside so she wouldn't have to walk home.

"So your from another world too...." Tifa replied not surprised thought. The first time yes she didn't know other worlds existed but soon more and more customers came from different worlds. Some how there was a portal or a gateway from what she heard, ones that allow its users to travel from one world to the other. But they were unstable, 'you never know whereyou would end up or if you can return to your home.....' she remembered those words and sighed.

"Thank you...." She smiled looking down at her ring remembering Cloud when he proposed. Apart of her still couldn't believe that Cloud actually did, but the ring was proof enough and it always brightened her smile every time her eyes caught sight of it.

"Your leaving already?" Tifa asked glancing back up at Matus as she got up. She nodded her head with another one of her famous smile once her new friend asked if she could return tomorrow. "Your welcome here....come whenever you want..... it would be good to have someone to talk to while working...."

Matsu didn't feel like leaving but she knew that she would eventually get tired and not wanna move at all. But, she was getting ready to leave so that wouldn't have to happen. Matsu smiled at Tifa's "thank you".. "You're welcome." Matsu smiled. She headed for the door while as Tifa spoke to her. "I'm sorry I'm leaving so early but, I gotta get home, take a shower, get on the computer, etc.." She stated while rubbing the back of her head.

Matsu stepped outside and lucky for her the wind was blowing. The reason she wanted the wind to blow is because, the harder than wind blows the faster the flower petals will move, and the faster she gets to her destination. Matsu felt wanted and happy when Tifa told her she was welcome to the bar and can come to the bar whenever she wanted.

Matsu was probably gonna come back anyway. She felt it would be nice to have someone to talk to when she's not at home or something. Matsu place both her hands together and said(Example Link).. "Flower Petal Escape.." Matsu had disappeared and hoped about coming back another day. She was just so excited she had met a new! friend today..
