Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Light blue eyes scanned the area outside of Seventh Heaven. A local bar owned by none other than Tifa Lockhart, a friend of Repa’s and the fiancé of Repa’s other friend Cloud Strife, who was more like a brother than a friend to her. All the wonderful people Repa had met here…it was like, this world was filled with the best people, and she had yet to meet anyone who posed a threat to anyone, well except Yazoo. A remnant of Sephiroth who had once been very hostile to her, but now, things were different and starting to turn in an even better direction…which made Repa worry because she was so prone to bad things happening to her once her life was going good, so now she just waited for something to destroy her happiness again. Back outside Seventh Heaven, it looked closed up for the day. Repa guessed she arrived a little too late to visit Cloud or Tifa…or anyone else who hung around here. Guess new plans were needed to waste the day away. What else was there to do when you had no one to hang out with? Repa sighed and turned away from the bar and walked around aimlessly. Her feet leading her to an abandoned playground where Tifa had taken her once, it wasn’t the prettiest sight not seeing kids laughing and playing but it was a quiet place to think and daydream without anyone yelling at you to move or something. Repa sat on a swing and swayed back and forth as she stared at the ground, thinking of the many…or not so many things she could do today. "I wonder if I'll meet anyone else here...hopefully someone that has a more interesting life than me..." A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she kicked her legs a little harder to get some air on the swing. By now the thoughts of doing anything today had died and passed out of her head. There was nothing to think of, although it was getting rather late in the day to do anything that exciting, although she could go out and get a bite to eat, then go back to her little place and sit around for the rest of the night. With that thought in mind Repa jumped off the swing in mid air and landed with a slight stumble. “There’s gotta be something I can do that…wont get me killed or get me into trouble...again.” She mumbled walking off towards the center of the city once again. This place was nice and all…people wise, but there just wasn’t anything that sparked interest in Repa’s mind. To her it was rather plain and boring, but that coming from the life of luxury and entertainment that she once knew wasn’t very surprising. If you lived the way she had before…this would be considered rather boring. She just tried to get passed all that and find a way to entertain herself. As she began a stride that quickened with each step, Repa let her eyes wander for a place to eat, she was so busy looking around that she wasn’t watching where she was going before her foot caught a runaway cable that had been stretched out from a construction site and she fell on her face. “Wow…very graceful there Repa…good job.” Repa sat up and sighed. "Some princess you are Repa..." She said to herself feeling more accident prone every day.

It had only been a few weeks since leaving Baron but not a day has been boring for the Dragoon Knight Kain. Although not the strongest of men he has enjoyed the past few days of traveling, battling, and enjoying his training to become the strongest. Or perhaps his goal was something different, did he truly just want to be strong? "It sounds to cliche anyway." he mumbled to himself walking into a town he did not recognize. "My goals can wait for now." he assured himself as he walked in. He looked around wondering why the place had a shady look to it but didn't want to question a local for fear of angering one. It was one of those things that he treated a persons home town like he would want his own to be treated. He would be pissed to if some random visitor asked why his kingdom looked so old and built out of stone, so Kain decided to not comment on it.
Moving into the city center he had a feeling he would be hungry soon considering he missed breakfast. Then again, he was never a man for breakfast since he woke up so late all the time. Kain enjoyed his sleep and wouldn't let others complain to him otherwise. Unless the king or a superior needed him up early he would usually sleep till noon. After bed he would train and go challenging strong knights around the area. But today he decided a nice day of no fighting would suffice. He glanced to his right to see a woman trip and fall flat on her face. Due to his helmet she wouldn't see Kain raise his eyebrow, but she could tell he was obviously confused as to how she was so clumsy.
He took a step toward her to ask if she was alright but after taking a closer look he could tell she was fine. He didn't wanna brag about being able to get a first impression about a person by their eyes, but it was the only thing he went by. And her eyes in particular were strong ones, the held a bit of darkness in them but were strong none the less. He then glanced at her figure and was quick to think she was very attractive. Pushing the thought aside the words he didn't wanna ask just flew out," You alright there ma'am?"

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Either Repa was just clumsy or someone really had it in for her. It seemed anywhere she went something went wrong. Whether she fell, like she just did now, or evaded a death, something always went wrong. At least she didn’t break anything…this time. So for the time being Repa just sat there trying to make sure nothing was bumped, cut, or bruised, of course she knew she’d eventually feel the fall later on. Another sign of bad luck on her part. Lady luck was certainly against Repa at all times it seemed. There was one plus side about this fall…at least she wasn’t wearing heals today, then it could’ve been far worse than it was…which it wasn’t that bad. Just a simple fall…in front of people…who stared…what was so bad about that? Everything. Repa felt the throbbing in her head from the fall, not that she hit her head or anything but the sudden impact against her body none the less caused a jolt of pain in her head. As she sat there putting one hand to her forehead, Repa closed her eyes before a voice was heard, obviously talking to her because she was the only one to fall around this area. Repa opened her eyes and looked up at who was speaking to her. She paused a bit before saying anything back, scrambling to her feet and brushing herself off. He didn’t look from around here at all. Repa’d been here enough to see what the locals normally wore and looked like but this…was just plain different. “Oh. I’m okay…” Repa smiled a bit before she rubbed her left shoulder and her smile faded into a grimace. “Well…mostly I guess…” a nervous laugh escaped her lips just then. How embarrassing was this? Repa, a girl known to run around in heals, couldn’t walk over a flat surface without falling. There was something wrong with that. After a few moments of silence Repa decided she should probably say ‘thank you for asking’ or something…maybe get a conversation rolling? Repa was one of the very few people who could hold a conversation with anyone...even a stranger who she just saw like...5 seconds ago. She looked at the man who had spoken to her once more, examining the armor without looking like she was just staring. “So I take it you aren’t from around here?” She guessed while folding her hands together and looking off to the side a bit. Maybe if she was really nice, this guy would end up being her friend…like the other few people in this town such as Tifa…Cloud…Zack etc.

Kain had wondered why she was still on the ground before noticing she was checking herself for wounds. I was about to say, tripping on ones face isn't the end of the world. he thought before glancing at her while she seemed to be in deep thought. "Well if your fine don't you wanna get up?" he asked somewhat confused at her sitting there. But as she got to her feet he just said," Oh..never mind then." She began to dust herself off as Kain began to glance at his surroundings. He was still new to this area so he was hoping to find a bar or restaurant to get info from. Sadly nothing nearby looked even remotely open for business so he let out a small sigh.
She said she was okay but when she switched okay to 'mostly okay' Kain raised his eyebrow yet again. She sure was unsure about it, but then again maybe the problem was bigger than simple fall. Regardless Kain could only repeat," Mostly?" in an unsure tone. Not that this was his problem but he felt compelled to make sure she was alright at least. He continued to contemplate his situation during these few moments of silence before she decided to speak at last.
'So I take it you aren't from around here?'
He felt that was rather obvious but he supposed it was her way to continue the conversation. "Yes. You could say that I'm not of this world." he said not wanting to complicate things. But sadly, his answer to a normal person would sound very confusing and complicated. Not wanting to cause that he quietly added," I'm from another Kingdom in a different world. My name is Kain Highwind....Dragoon of Baron.....at your service if need be." he introduced himself much like he would to any lady, it was in his blood.

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. As clumsy as she seemed now, Repa wasn’t that bad really, just very oblivious to the minor details of things around her. If this were combat, or some serious situation, no one would dare question her lack of stability on a flat surface. Under Repa’s fluffy kindness and obliviousness laid a more…serious and sarcastic side of her that rarely escaped over her initial attitude. Being raised in royalty made Repa rather soft, unless in combat, but none the less, she was taught to treat people with great hospitality and the up most respect, so that’s what she was going to do here. Once Repa was done brushing off the little dirt that had stuck to her clothes she paused to rethink her last statement of being ‘mostly okay’. She tought for a moment. 'You're fine, just smile and dont whine. Wouldn't want to make a fool out of yourself even more would you?' And with that Repa spoke again. “Eh its nothing to worry about so I’m okay. I am…quite accident prone so this is nothing new.” She shrugged a bit. So he wasn’t from around here? Repa knew it, it was pretty obvious, but she didn’t mind asking, not that anyone could get a more stupid impression of her anyway. “Well what a coincidence…I just so happen to be from another world...a kingdom as well.” Well this was kind of interesting, a similarity somewhat. Repa’s smile expanded as he introduced himself. Her turn, “I’m Repa…Repa Raines…Princess of a Kingdom called Delatorr…” Her princess title wasn’t that impressive to her but it made a statement to other people, it made them more interested to listen to her or something and get to know the girl, who was way different than a mere princess. Some people of course just couldn’t see behind the tiara…that’s the part Repa hated about her title, but she was getting used to it, oh well. “It’s nice to meet you Kain…” she let her eyes wander a bit before going back to Kain. “Looking for something around here? I know this area fairly well…if you need help.” She figured he didn’t have to take her offer but it was nice anyway, it would give her something to do.

Accident prone eh. Kain thought about this and almost sighed but just blinked under his helmet and listened to her speak. He returned his attention to her as she mentioned not being from here either. This wasn't helpful considering he needed a guide but perhaps she still knew this area well enough. When she returned her introduction he almost seemed shocked, not that you could tell with his helmet covering his eyes and most of his face. He was able to calm down since he knew a princess anyway, and Repa didn't seem to be a princess of the spoiled brat variety. In fact she seemed rather nice and, well normal for a princess. Since this was the case Kain decided to try and not overdue the loyal knight behavior he would give most royal figures. There was a reason she was out here and Kain didn't need to know unless told. "Nice to meet you Repa." he said calmly not making much of a deal about her title. When she began to glance around and when she spoke again he had a feeling she could tell he was looking around. "Yeah....just a place to eat would be nice." he replied with a nod. He was hungry and that was putting it lightly.

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Repa had already experienced her grand tour of this place from her friend Tifa Lockhart, and Cloud Strife, so she really did know the place quite well. Plus, there was the time when all she would do was wander to get to know the layout, which seemed to have helped out some. Repa knew the exact place she would’ve taken Kain to, but Tifa’s Bar, Seventh Heaven, seemed to be closed today, oh well, there were lots of other places, but what was a place that was close? “Well. That’ll be easy.” Repa shrugged thinking of which place she was going to target as her destination. For once, it was her turn to be nice and help out, instead of it being the other way around. These past few weeks of ‘world hopping’ had been very tiring and everywhere she went she always found someone to show her around and help her if needed, time to do her part. Rocking back on her heals and folding her arms behind her back Repa looked down the street a bit, eyeing the buildings and their availability. It was a quiet day here in Edge but that was normal for here she guessed. “Okay, well a few blocks from here there’s a place, I’ve been there before it’s pretty good...” She spoke grinning as she faced away from Kain and looked down the road in the direction of where she was talking about. She took a few steps forward as if to walk off but on her last step forward she turned herself around and walked backwards a few steps, almost skipping slightly. “So how long have you been here in Gaia?” Small talk was good, as long as it wasn’t stupid, like her obvious question before.

Kain had a feeling she would be a good guide so the torture of hungry bothered him no longer as he listened in on her insight. When she mentioned that finding a place would be easy a small grin could be seen on his face. "Lunch at last." he said calmly. Kain had not eaten since he left Baron yesterday so food was a god send right now. He watched her rock on her heels for a bit as she seemed to be mentally searching for a place for him to head to. Kain almost realized how grateful he was for this help and quickly added," Thank very much for this by the way." A small smile could be seen on his face as he thanked her. When she mentioned a place a few blocks down he nodded and said," Sure that's fine." with a chuckle. As they began their walk to the place she asked how long had he been here for to which he responded calmly," I got here this morning from Baron."

Princess at HeartYeah I'm a Princess...but I'm no Damsel in Distress...Far from it. Repa smiled some at the thank you as she turned back around facing away from Kain as she walked. "You're welcome, it's finally MY turn to help someone else." She folded her arms as she walked. She would take him to the first place she went to while being here in Midgar, a small diner that was really very nice. Cloud Strife had taken her there after they met, and it just seemed like a good place to start off around here, then Tifa's bar and go from there, unless he wasn't staying long, then just stick with the simple places. "Just since this morning? Wow. I myself have been around here for about...eh two weeks or so? Maybe a little longer." Repa shrugged some stopping infront of a building, the diner. "This place is easy to pick up on...the layout of the town is pretty simple." With that she opened the door and held it open, waiting for Kain to walk in first, just trying to be polite. "Well this is the place...hope its alright." She walked in found a booth to sit at, they weren't that busy so they could just seat themselves. Repa folded her arms into her lap and just kinda looked around a bit. "Do you plan on staying here long? If you don't mind me asking."
