Appearance Sonuske is regularly seen with a lazy or irritated expression. He has fairly long jet black hair tied in a spiky ponytail, narrow brown eyes, and wears ring earrings. His attire is rather plain, wearing a fishnet undershirt and a short jacket with his forehead protector worn around his left arm and gray pants.
Personality: The sort of unenthusiastic kid who likes to watch clouds. He preferred not to get involved in "troublesome" activities, pretending to be busy to avoid responsibility. He is fully aware of this side of his personality, constantly commenting on his own laziness. Though despite his lazy attitude, he's very intelligent, having an over genius level IQ. There are few things that arouse his attention enough to pull him out of his laziness, but when they do, he's up and going.
However, when duty calls, Sonuske has a strong moral compass and sense of commitment to his comrades. Even though, by his own testimony, he lacks bravery, he will sacrifice himself and face almost certain death for the sake of his friends without a second thought.
He considers most women bossy and troublesome, usually defining them as aggressive, demanding, and sometimes even scary. Nevertheless, Sonuske is generally courteous to women, doing them favors and avoiding fights with them. He feels that men, like him, should be the ones protecting them and not the other way around.
History: Sonuske lived a pretty normal life, being the third born in a trio of siblings. Though he and his elder brother are only ten months apart instead of years. His big brother was kidnapped long before Sonuske could even form words in his mouth, he knows he had a big brother but he doesn't know whether or not he's still alive.
He grew up in a happy home of four, his parents and his older sister. Even as a child, Sonuske had always enjoyed spending long afternoons outside staring up at the sky, watching the clouds roll by. It always gave him a sense of tranquility and peace. Whenever he would look at the clouds, nothing else in the world mattered to him, not even the most trivial thoughts would be allowed into his head.
Though his life was pretty uneventful for the most part, he did have to endure training to control his shadow powers from his mentor Shizuma, a man hired by his father in hopes of getting the lazy attitude out of his son. To his chagrin, although the training was a success, Sonuske still maintained his lazy laidback demeanor.
After his father gave up trying to dispel his laziness, his mother decided to give it a try. Packing him up and sending him off to Trabia Garden so he could learn to pep up. Though Sonuske himself doubted it would work, he decided to go along with it so as not to cause himself unnecessary trouble in an arguement with his mother.
So here he is, heading to Trabia Garden at the age of 17. "Sounds like work... What a drag..."
Abilities:
[/li][li]Shadow Manipulation- The user's shadow is extended to the opponent's shadow, combining them. This puts the attacker in control of the target's movements- the target is forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique. Given enough talent, the shadow can contract and change shape, and even get ahold of several targets at once. The shadow can also be connected with the shadows of other objects to extend its range. Sonuske can also extend his shadow and create multiple tendrils to attack various targets Sonuske can only hold the technique for about 7 minutes.
[/li][li]Shadow Neck Bind- Once the target has been captured with Shadow Possession, the user makes a hand seal to further the attack. The user then uses their shadow to form a hand, which will creep along the target to their neck and proceed to strangle them. However, those with much power are able to push back the shadow hand and resist the effects.
[/li][li]Intelligence- By putting his fingers together to create a circle and closing his eyes so he can concentrate, he can quickly think ten moves ahead of his opponent with over a hundred strategies ready to be used. When he does this, he considers everything that has taken place in the battle up to that point, even discerning how an opponent's techniques work.
[/li][li]Above average skills- He has enough superhuman physical strength to punch through stone with enough effort. He is also extremely agile, able to jump to great heights or even to balance on a flying rocket. Sonuske has also proven himself to be an extremely capable combatant. He has shown incredible proficiency with nunchaku. He has also shown impressive skill in unarmed combat.

Role Play Sample: Sonuske sat on the roof on his home, with his arms behind his head, completely relaxed as he watched the clouds above pass by. It was a totally tranquil scene, no fighting, no yelling, no loud noises, just him and the white puffs he had grown up loving so. "Ah.... This is great." He mumbled happily to himself, sighing contently. He knew that today would be a perfect day, doing nothing but what he liked, which admittedly wasn't anything at all. Yup, perfect.
