Character's Description:
Serah is an eighteen year old girl who is a bit short for her age, but that doesn’t really matter to her despite what others might say. Just like her sister Lightning Serah also has strawberry pink hair but hers is always tied in a ponytail to the left side, with some of coming down either side of her cheeks and her icy blue eyes somehow seemed to complete her innocent look. Her tone is slightly pale which causes her skin to sometimes flush bright red on hot days.
Usually she wears a white sleeveless top, with a semi transparent sweeper, the same style of her shirt on top. Her mini skirt is red pleated with a lined black lace matching her black knee length tights with beige high ankle boots.
Serah wears two bracelets. The first matches the one her sister always wears; the second matches her hair band. She also wears cat shaped earrings and an engagement pendant from Snow.
Personality:
Despite the relation, Serah is nothing like her sister. She is kind and gentle towards others and often puts their needs on top of hears especially when it’s someone close to her, she is even willing to risk and sacrifice her life. Seeing others suffer breaks her and even if she hardly knows the person, she can’t stand watching idly and do nothing. Taking action was one of the reasons why she got into trouble some time but Serah never regretted doing what she thought was right.
Her heart is pure and for that she is seen as an innocent young girl, but few truly know her. Even though she might seem vulnerable at times she is mentally strong and never lets go of anything she sets her mind to, and with her sister Lightning she would often argue till she got her point across. However, even with her strong will Serah couldn’t stop herself from crying at times, or even stop her tears from falling when things got bad. Though she does have an inner fortitude that allows her to make her own decisions without relying on others.
Serah is very bright for her age and always got straight A's in all her school subjects. Her favorite subject was always History. She though wasn’t sure why it fascinated her. Was it the knowledge about the past, memorizing dates and events or was it the mystery included? Serah is always attracted to mystery; something about those unsolved secrets fascinated her as she always tried to solve them on her own if she could. Curiosity at times got the best of her and that got her into trouble, but her sister and Snow were always there to help her out.
History:
Serah never knew her father as he died before she could have any memory of him, but thanks to the stories her mother told her Serah soon felt as if she knew everything about him, and managed to live happily with her eldest sister Éclair and her mother.
However those times came to an end when her mother soon got sick. Serah was only ten at that time and was unaware of how bad her mother’s condition was. Her sister Éclair never told her so she wouldn’t worry, but Serah knew something was wrong, still she tried to concentrate on her education and got A’s in all her school subject. Studying helped Serah in so many ways; one was to keep her mind from wondering about things she feared and with that Serah kept telling herself that everything will be alright, but they never were.
With everyday her mother’s condition worsened and soon Serah had to accept the facts that she might never see her mother again, but she kept a brave face whenever she was in the presence of her mother or sister and only cried when she was alone in her room. Her mother tragically passed away shortly afterwords, and all Serah could remember was holding her sisters hand at the funeral. She wanted to brake but her sister was there to help her.
With time she managed to keep on living and the pain was less thanks to her sister. Serah always knew she could rely on Éclair if she ever needed to, but after the death of her mother nothing was ever the same. For her sister she changed her name to Lightning and joined Guardian Corp to get stronger.
Serah pleaded Lightning to let her help with things and not take on all the responsibility, but Lightning refused and soon with time she destined herself from her emotions and unintentionally from Serah as she became too busy with her work to spend any time with her. Of course Serah was disappointed as she missed the times she shared with her sister and always was concerned about her, but she was also grateful to Lightning for giving up her childhood so she could have hers.
A few years later Serah was about to attend Eden's university, but during her summer vacation she fell in love with a certain man Snow Villiers and soon started spending more time with him, much to her sister's dismay. Lightning was displeased with Serah’s choice going on how she deserved better, but Serah was in love and refused to give up on Snow or proving to her sister that he was the right man for her.

Serah might not be good in combat like her sister, however she is very skilled when it comes to cooking. Also due to her caring personality Serah shows concern towards others and some how she is able to help them with their problems with a simple advice.

The morning was quite as usual, and nothing can be heard from her sister’s room. Serah assumed the reason was because Lightning already left for work. She sighed stretching her hands slowly before opening her eyes to take in the details of her room then glanced out the window. It seemed liked a nice day to be out and she decided to do just that.
Serah quickly changed into her usual attire before leaving for the beach deciding the best way to spend the day was to enjoy the scenery of the setting while she waited for Snow as usual. Perhaps later she could go explore the old vestige again, to try and unravel the mystery behind it, but that would only anger her sister which Serah wished to avoid.
As she made her way to the beach and sat in her usual spot, Serah’s thoughts soon drifted to recall a distant memory she shared with her sister. “Lightning…” she paused with a sigh troubled now with past thoughts. She was of course concerned for her sister. If only Lightning would listen to her please to take a break from work some time off so the two could spend more time together as they used to in the past. However, any conversation regarding that subject with her sister only led to her outrage. She always disapproved and placed her job at top of her priorities.
“It seemed like she has forgotten how to have fun…” Serah mumbled those words with yet another sigh at the thought. Was she the one to blame? Lightning had to grow up to take care of her, she gave up her childhood so Serah could have hers, and she even discarded her original name in the attempts to get stronger for her.
To Serah it seemed that she was losing her sister and she couldn’t stand that. She had to do something or at least try, and who knew maybe someday the Éclair she knew would be back. “Maybe I can help her remember…” She said and soon a smile curved on her lips at that thought.
