Looking out the window at the Balamb hotel, Seifer simply gazed at the horizon. He had been doing a lot of thinking lately. He finally accepted that he had been brainwashed. However, being a sorceress knight was his dream, so how brainwashed was he? It would be a lie if he said a part of him wasn't willingly following Ultimecia, but he also knew she was using him. She twisted his dream and made him think he was truly protecting the sorceress from evil. Towards the end though, he started to know this wasn't true. And now he knew for sure, Ultimecia was the villain. Nothing good came from her, and Seifer simply helped her accomplish her goals. He knew without Squall, he would have ended up completely brainwashed. And Seifer hated that fact.
Sighing, he took another glance at the sea before standing up. Stretching a bit, Seifer was wearing his blue vest and dark purple pants. Walking over, he took his long coat from off of a coat rack in his hotel room. He had to get his clothes tailored after everything that happened, but they looked good as new now. Putting his coat on, Seifer picked up his gunblade, Hyperion, which was leaning against the wall. Hooking it to his side, Seifer opened the door and left his hotel room.
He had been staying at the Balamb hotel for days now, and it was about time for him to leave. He had no real home, and honestl had no idea where to go. Find a new home? Travel? ...Return to Garden? So many thoughts rushed through the young mans head, and he didn't know what to do. Surely the students at Balamb wouldn't give him a friendly greeting. The once Sorceress Knight knew he was in a jam.
Shaking his head, the young blond made his way to the counter. "I'm checking out." Seifer said. The clerk smiled and nodded, writing something down in the guest book. "We here at Balamb hotel hope you had a great time!" He said. Seifer looked down, before smirking and looking at the clerk. "Yeah...it was nice." He said. Considering in the past Seifer would have probably made a rude remark, it showed just how much the young man had changed.
Walking outside, Seifer made his way to the nearby docks. Putting his hands into his coat pockets, Seifer stared out at the sea. He weighed his options, going over every choice he could possibly make, and honestly didn't know what to do. The young warrior was in a quandry, one that he really wanted to solve. Continuing to look out at sea, Seifer was lost in thought.
