Sonuske nodded as he listened to Lightning's explanation on the difference between Pulse l'Cie and Santum l'Cie. He had to admit, the only thing he understodd was the different markings. What were Fal'Cie? He'd ask about that later, right now he'd just deal with the situation at hand. Dealing with the fact that he, Angeal, and possibly Lightning, were all l'Cie. What did the future hold for them? Constant fighting? Death? And what happened when you completed the focus and became a crystal, did you stay that way for eternity? OR did you wake up one day years later? It was all a lot to take in, especially in such a short amount of time. From the sounds of it, he was a Pulse l'Cie. Whatever that meant.
"Okay, so I'm guessing I'm a Pulse l'Cie." He voiced outloud, letting them know what he had just deduced, though Lightning probably already knew. He sighed as he redressed himself. He accepted his fate rather quickly, not one to care about his own trials. He knew he could make it through fine, after all, he was a genius. He turned to Angeal, giving him a small smile. "Relax, I can handle it..... Well, some of it anyway. I may not be the best fighter around, but that doesn't mean I can't survive." He started. "Though I do know a good idea when I hear one. Sounds like a plan."
He turned to Lightning with a questioning look. So she was a l'Cie! She had just confirmed it for him right there. "What else can we do? It's either complete the focus or bust right? Besides, we got time. It's not like our due dates right around the corner. We've got plenty of time to think this through and plan out our best options." Sonuske tried to stay positive. So far, he seemed to be doing a pretty good job at it. He wasn't easily flustered, and it would take a little bit more than this to ruffle his feathers. He folded his arms as he prepared for his next statement. "So let me ask you, once a l'Cie always a l'Cie? There's no way you can go back to the way things were before?" He asked, pausing for a brief moment before continuing. "What did you do?"
"Oh yeah, and about Fate. We can worry about him later, you say he's safe with your friends so I believe your word. He'll be fine." He said truthfully. He trusted her. She offered them her help, even explained all this l'Cie business to him. She could've attacked them the moment she found out what they were, but she didn't. He had no reason to doubt her so far, and he doubted she would give him one. Atleast anytime soon. Finding Fate could wait since he was in no immediate danger. Figuring out what to do was more important right now, especially since they had the assistance of a seeming expert on the subject.

Angeal liked how the plan laid itself out, he had taught this kid some stuff, and with the time they were alloted he would make Sonny into the greatest warrior he could be. Which in Angeal's opinion was something great, with his past few sentences one could surmise the cool that Sonuske possessed. It was a type of veteran smoothness that even Angeal did not have at such an age. And it would be an asset to them in the future, especially if Sonny could use it just as well in battle. Angeal put his hand on Sonny's shoulder and tried to help him, because even though he should great composure Angeal knew that he was probably a typhoon of emotions on the lower levels of his being.
''If you think so kid. But you and I have to train. I left out a lot of stuff in my last exploit with you and the other kid'', he said moving his hand down and turning to the sea. The Salt was pungent in the air and it tickled Angeal's nose. Angeal knelt down and rinsed his hands in the slow waves that passed back and forth on the wave gently.

Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” Lightning sighed a little as she thought of the horrible fate ahead. It wasn’t fair for the Fal’Cie to make just anyone a L’Cie. Sonuske had guessed right though, he had the same brand that she had once before. It was unfortunate, it really was. She just shook her head a bit keeping a bit quiet as these thoughts ran through her head…and the memories of the travel to Oerba came into her mind as well. Those were some tough days and depending on what his focus was…it might be a hard road for him to travel along as well. But Angeal seemed to have a good idea, so long as someone could handle all the fighting that was bound to come along, then you were pretty well off. Closing her eyes a bit as the two guys then conversed Lightning let her thoughts float away from her mind, she tried to clear her mind. To think of it as a strategy, as she had told Hope once awhile back while they had traveled through the Gapra Whitewood. Forget about sympathy, but after going through all that L’Cie stuff, Lightning couldn’t help but want to help these two. Not that Angeal seemed to need help, but some answers might be nice. “You both are lucky…My focus came a lot quicker than yours will…” She muttered before something came to mind, another helpful hint. “Another thing…be careful…a nasty shock could send your brand progressing even faster than it is already…and that’s not good.” She said folding her arms once more. As for what more a l’cie can do…lightning could add some insight to that as well. “You can perform magic…without the use of any special tools.” She added almost feeling the need to get away from all this l’cie stuff once again…maybe just walk around bodhum by herself for awhile, but bailing would be rude and she’d end up feeling bad later down the road. More questions…it didn’t really bother Light, but it wasn’t a great subject, anyways, they had to know none the less. And she being both a Cocoon Local and a previous L’Cie herself could answer all of this. “No. Once you complete your focus you are done…it is possible for the Fal’Cie to give you a new focus once you wake up from crystal stasis though…Like me. I’m completely brand free.” She said resting her hand over her heart. “But I fear I may get a new focus one day…its not something that entirely goes away.” She said shifting her eyes off to the side a bit. “My focus was to…become a creature called Ragnarok and destroy Cocoon…but somehow my friends and I denied our focus and ended up saving Cocoon…well at least Fang and Vanille did.” She sighed a bit wanting to drop the subject but not showing much emotion on her face before the subject was indeed dropped. “Like I said, if he’s with Vanille…he’s perfectly fine.” Lightning said with a confirming nod before waiting to see if there were more questions or anything else to be discussed before she wandered off down the beach. Or before she offered even more help than she already had. It seemed that sympathy strategy wasn’t working too well these days for her. Words: 658 Muse: Good Notes: none

((This isn't going to be a good post at all, but here goes nothing.)) Fate had did all he could do to help Pulse for now. He had to find his best buddy which he had left four months ago on this entirely new world. He known Sonuske was fully capable of handling himself, not to mention extrememly intelligent, so there was no way he would get into any trouble. Still, Fate felt horrible leave his only friend at the time, even if he believed he was doing the right thing. He should have stopped to think about it or at least dragged Sonuske along with him.
Instead Fate was only thinking about himself though his heart was in the right place. He was going to find Sonuske and take whatever punishment he dished out. The perfect place to fight him would be back on that beach where everything started. It was where they first arrived in this world, where Fate fought with Ultimecia, and where he decided to help Vanille. So he was back here walking down the beach once again. Most of his fateful encounters occurred here.
As if breaking the bro code was not enough, he had left his brother for a number of months. So the problem that Fate really face was not finding his friend, but what he was going to say. He was dragging his feet through the sands as he walked down the beach with his head in the clouds. Fortunately, something had caught the boy's attention in the distance. He could not make out who the figures were, but could see the shape of that huge blade upon the back of one of the figures. He could point that sword out anywhere!
"ANGEAL!!!" He tried to run, but stumbled to the sands. He quickly pushed himself off the ground, wiping the sand from his vision as he ran as fast as his legs would take him. As he drew closer he realize that it was not just Angeal, but also Sonny and some other female. He started to slow his pace down back to a slow walk as the smile faded from his face. He was not expecting to see Sonuske this soon.
It was too late to turn around now. He was positive they heard him scream out Angeal's name so the attention must have alreadly been drawn to him. He finally came to a stop when he reached the group. He had a slight grin across his face as he rubbed the back of his head. "Hey... Nice weather we're having. Love the feel of the sand between my toes," He said, trying to break the ice, "Uh, hey Ms. Ma'am. I'm Fate. Nice to meet you." He waved saluted to Lightning. Fate stayed silent for a moment, wondering what he should say. "I've totally missed you guys. I had no one to walk down the beach with under the moonlight..."

Sonuske hated the thought of work, but he knew training with Angeal would totally be worth it in the end. Still though, he was not looking forward to the aspect of putting in effort to get results, but he knew there was no way around it, so he submitted to the idea before even putting up a fight. He turned up to look at Angeal as he placed his hand on his shoulder. Could he sense the emotional maelstrom going on in his head right now? On the outside, he was calm, cool, collected, he had to be, at all times. Otherwise, every little thing would get to him, which would be troublesome. Though on the inside at times, he did tend to panic. He thought he did a good job of hiding it though, maybe Angeal was just good at sensing the emotions of those close to him. He didn't speak, he only nodded his head as if saying 'thank you'.
"Noted... stay away from electricity." He said, instantly thinking of Fate's powers. He'd have to be more careful around him then. If what she said was true, one blast from his compadre could send his brand into overdrive. He felt bad that he had more time than she did to complete his focus, but she was most likely more battle trained than he was, not to mention more focused about her.... focus. He was a lazy slacker who only did enough to get by unless otherwise necessary. His ears perked up at her next words. Magic huh? "You mean like summoning fire balls and lightning strikes?" He asked, naming off some of the abilities of the substance known as materia Angeal had told him about.
Sonuske was trying to absorb all the information he could while he had the chance. Who knew when someone this knowledgable on the subject of l'Cies would show up again, and even if they did, would they offer their assistane like Lightning did. This wasn't a opportunity he was willing to let slide, and based on everything she was telling him, he had already begun to formulate a few plans on how to get out of their predicaments without too much destruction. "Sorry for asking so many questions, but.... Exactly how did you defy your focus? If it's possible, I'd rather take that route than whatever I have to do."
Suddenly, he had a strange feeling. As if, something was about to happen. He had no idea where it had come from, or how to explain it, but he just knew something was about to happen. He didn't know whether it was good or bad either. As if on cue to confirm his suspicions, he heard a very familiar voice ring out calling Angeal's name. He quickly turned to the source to see Fate falling in the sand before picking himself back up and continuing to trot their way. Was he seeing things, or was Fate really there? He got his answer when the mirage, well, Fate, walked up to them and spoke.
"Really? Out of all the things you could have possibly said...... That was it." Sonny said, looking down at the ground, clenching and unclenching his fists. He had to admit, that little stunt angered him a little. Not to mention the fact Fate had pretty much deserted him on a possibly hostile planet, luckily things worked out smoothly for the most part. But seriously, did Fate really disappear for that long, then just show up like everything was cool? Atleast he hadn't changed while he was gone.
He clenched his right fist, he didn't exactly know what he was going to do with it, his body seemed to be moving on it's own now. He slowly walked over to Fate and punched him with no warning right in the jaw. He took a step back and exhaled a breath he didn't know he had been holding. He stared at Fate, waiting for his reaction, having nothing to say to him right now. He was too mad, which was kind of ironic, because when the guy was missing he was crying, now that he had shown up again, he punches him in the face. But Fate could take that hit no problem, wasn't even Sonuske's hardest punch. Plus he'd seen him take worse.

((F**K Posting on a hang over is neither easy nor fun !!!))
Angeal's mind was turned from her statements as he allowed them to be directed towards Sonny, Fang had already told him this stuff, Fal'cie, Cieth, crystals. Not fun in his mind. His focus was the hardest task he ever had, not even SOLDIER had given him such a arduous task. DAMNIT! I can't let these two know my focus, then they're just gonna want to help. These were the closest thing to family he had, if he and Cerberus had to face Sephiroth he was going to make sure it was for good. Then again he knew training Sonny would breed a great warrior who could help, but did he want to risk it? Then there was Fate, this kid was a live wire prepared to battle at anytime, he played innocent but he was a true cut-throat if Angeal had ever seen one. Enough thinking about it, Sephiroth was Angeal's prey and he would not let anyone claim his life.
Wait....Fate is here? Angeal was so caught up in his thoughts that he did not even notice the kid walk up, which was a shame considering he had come up talking and yelling. ''Hey kid....I found your friend'', he said pointing to the young man clumsily running towards him. A nervous twitch tugged at Angeal's hand telling him to leave right now or else he risk there lives. Maybe he was being a little too isolationist in doctrine, regardless, when it came to a fight like this Angeal could not afford to be anything but a loner. He had his three headed beast and that's all he needed to live and fight that man.
The sword on his back became heavy, as if it had been light before, he sung to him to be used, it wanted to be unleashed to battle. But nobody was around, neither one of the three could really pose a threat to him, at least not Sonny or Fate. Maybe in tandem, but one on one Angeal ceased to believe anyone on the planet could stand to him and his skills. Cocky yes, but he had many ways to prove himself. ''Where the hell have you been?'' In a split second Angeal's hand left his side and found itself colliding upside his head to teach him a lesson.
''You made Sonny here worried sick. I've got the mind to make you run this beach 70 times end to end.'' Angeal crossed his arms in the traditional parental fashion. Damn, he was really acting more and more like a dad to these two, he could not stand having so many people this damn close to him! But I won't go off into another tangent on solo gunslinger isolation Angeal as it seems ALL of my posts have been doing lately (EPIC FOURTH WALL BREAKAGE). Having kids was tough, especially when you were a man of combat, but he would breed warriors should he need someone to operate in his stead when he was gone.
His sword fell from his back causing sand to go up into the air, he moved it onto his lap and felt the hot iron lie on his legs and he pulled about three blue red and yellow glowing orbs from his pocket. There were slots on his blade that seemed to be a perfect fit for each one of them. ''Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga, my favorite people'', he said to himself as he inserted them into his blade. He had never really used magic in joint with his blade strokes but he had always wanted to try it. His blade turned hot and white causing his to be temporarily blinded before it turned back normal. After his vision returned he rose to his feet sword in hand and noticed the orbs looked to be stuck in the hole of each.
A sinister smirked and walked in between the three until he came to he coast, he swung his blade, but nothing happened. Just as he saw the attack yielded no results he frowned before doing it three more times hoping for a different result. Finally the last stroke of his blade came and with it purely destructive results, a wave of fiery lightning and ice flew over the ocean causing a small part in it. ''Holy crap'', he whispered as water and dead marine life fell from the sky and landed on the beach. Then he thought to himself, What the hell just happened?
He looked back to the people on the beach behind him for confirmation.

Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” Lightning shook her head and placed her hands on her hips when Sonuske started talking about electricity. That wasn’t exactly the type of shock she was talking about, but I guess it applies there too. “What I meant was, any sort of big surprise…it can speed up the process…not just electricity.” She said almost wanting to laugh, but she didn’t, although the corners of her mouth twitched upwards into a small barely noticeable smile. If you knew Lightning, even the slightest of smiles was a big deal, if you didn’t, you’d think she was cold and emotionless all the time, but she wasn’t. Magic on the other hand…a new topic, it was pretty handy in some places, her best magical power was thunder…shockingly it matched her name, summoning lightning strikes for a girl named Lightning…how ironic. She simply nodded her head at Sonuske. “Water, Thunder, Fire, Aero, and Blizzard.” She said blinking for a second. “And you may be able to heal later on too.” She added that as a bonus, he seemed excited about the whole magic thing, why not build it up to all it really was? It was pretty great she had to admit.
And the questions kept on coming! Lightning really didn’t mind, this guy had to be filled in on what was bound to happen right? It was something she was glad to have a little background on when she became a L’cie…though this question, she didn’t know how to answer. She sighed and let her eyes shift downward in thought. She couldn’t exactly give directions to this so she shrugged her shoulders up and down a bit. “I’m…not sure how to answer that. I don’t exactly know how my friends and I managed to overcome it…it just happened.” She said looking back up and hoping that was as good enough answer as she could give him. “If you find a way….then good for you…there’s a loophole for everything…the challenge is finding it first.” She said with a confirming nod.
Lightning then closed her eyes and sighed a bit, letting the sound of the waves fill her mind. It was quiet for a moment before a ringing voice was shouted in the distance. Her eyes flickered open to see a boy running at them yelling Angeal’s name. She looked at Angeal then back at Sonuske and assumed this was his lost friend. Well…that was easy. This guy, seemed way hyper, or just in the moment or something…just different. So this was the kid Fang had told her about? The one who was dating Vanille or something like that? She imagined the two got along well and simply nodded at him as he introduced himself. “Lightning…and please don’t call me ma’am.” She said before Angeal and Sonuske started to take things into their own hands, Angeal yelling, and Sonuske punching. Lightning just sighed…men. She thought before folding her arms across her chest once again and shaking her head.
Clenching her fist, Lightning felt the urge to smack Sonuske upside the head, now wasn’t the time to go around punching people for being lost. He had to focus on his…focus. But she restrained herself and just turned away looking out at the ocean and then watching whatever Angeal was doing with that strange orb stuff…whatever it was. She raised a brow as he stuck those orbs is his sword then started to swing it around. She was about to comment, to ask what he was doing before the magic actually happened. The fire, lightning, and ice magic all went towards the ocean and soon enough dead marine life was ending up on the beach. Lightning’s eyes widened a little as she stared at Angeal. What…was that? “Well that was….lovely.” she stated blinking a few seconds before her eyes went back to normal, no longer wide as she turned her attention back to Sonuske and Fate…just to make sure Sonuske wasn’t punching the poor guy anymore.Words: 781 Muse: Good Notes: None

Maybe humor was not the best idea given the fact they he had not seen these two in a while. That was Fate for you. He never really thought things through and always tried to bring a smile to people's face. He turned his attention to Lightning when she spoke and sighed. What was it with women not wanting to be called ma'am? It was a sign of respect. Fate would just go with her wishes since she seemed cool. Honestly, she seemed like a sexier version of Squall. Squall's an ass! And whatever ya do, don't ever mention to people ya met a sexier version of Squall... That just sounds like ya been lookin' at Squall the wrong way. I hate you so much.
Finally it came; the onslaught... More like two unnecessary hits! He was not expecting a hug, but what they did was totally uncalled for. He took the first hit from Sonuske and staggered back a bit, rubbing his cheek. "... I'm going to swallow it. I deserve it. I mean, it was uncalle for, but I deserved it." He brushed it off and would just forget about it but then Angeal decided to put his hands on Fate. "What the--STOP! It's not cool no more!" He said, holding his head, "Look, I understand what I did. I was helping someone very important to me."
They had to know he was sorry. If he was not he would have never came to find them. "I was being selfish, very selfish... I don't regret helping Vanille, but I shouldn't have left you alone man." He was a little disappointed in himself. Everything bad that happened to Sonuske was because of him. It would be easier on him if they were not even friends at all. "I shouldn't have dragged you along this long Sonuske. I've known how to get home since we left Gaia... I was just so stuck on trying to find a purpose to my life, a place where I wasn't a failure or an idiot."
He had always felt like that his home world was not meant for him. Here, he had people who actually liked him and who counted on him. People who liked him for who he was. He could go home. Once they found out who he was he was destined to be experimented of or just killed. It was better to be safe then sorry. "You know, I always thought that you would be the one to break up with me Sonuske, but I can't let you let me drag you down anymore" He said, "Anyway, i'm taking you home. I can take you home too, Mr. Angeal."

Sonuske rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly as Lightning explained what she really meant by shock. He felt pretty stupid for his misunderstanding, and he was the smart one? He noticed the little twinge on her lips. Was that an attempt at a smile? Or was she trying to hold back her laughter at his folly? Either way, it made him turn his head to look at a random object until he regained his composure. He wasn't sure, but he thought he could feel a slight blush, which wasn't cool at all.
He finally got himself together as she started explaining the magic. Good, he knew what all those were. "Okay, so magic here is just like it is back home. That's good to know." He knew all about the spells then, he had read through the junction manuals back home when he was bored, never touched them again though, but he retained everything he saw there. He wanted to ask exactly how he was supposed to use this new abilities, but he figured he was starting to get annoying with these questions, so he left it alone. He'd figure it out on his own later.
He was a little disappointed she couldn't give him a more detailed answer, but then again what did he expect? Cheating destiny wasn't something you could find in an instructional video or a manual. You had to figure this type of stuff out on your own, which in all honesty gave him a sense of a challenge. Not a normal challenge that he would ignore and hope would go away, but one he was actually kinda psyched about, to put his abilities to the test. What was wrong with him?! He nodded and gave her a friendly smile. "Thanks. For everything, I really appreciate the help." He meant that, she had cleared up alot of his questions, of course he still had more, but he wouldn't pester her with them. Atleast not this time.
He had to admit, after striking Fate, he felt bad. But he had deserved it right? He even said so himself! He shook his head. "Sorry man..." He said lowly. He was with someone important? Who could that have possibly been? Was it someone he knew? Probably not, otherwise why ditch him right? He sighed, now he felt really bad for hitting one of his only friends in all the worlds. What had come over him? Blinding rage, but he should know how to control himself better.
His eyes widened at what Fate said next. He knew how to get home this whole time?! So he just decided to drag Sonuske along for his wild ride of self-discovery. He would admit, it was fun, and he didn't regret any of it, well aside from the past 4 months. But he knew how to get back home, he could've atleast said something. "You know.... I would've kept travelling with you, even if you knew how to get home. It would've been nice for you to say something about it though! You could've atleast asked me if I wanted to go home!" His voice got louder with every sentence, to the point that he was almost yelling, but then he took a deep breath and calmed down.
He cut a sideways glance at Fate as he talked about breaking up. He wanted to punch him again, but this time he held himself back. What was he thinking? "Last time I checked it was my decision as to where I went. I'm not going home if you're not. That would defeat the purpose wouldn't it?" He gave Fate a lopsided grin. "Besides, you still have to introduce me to your new friend. Whoever this Vanille is, she better be damn worth the trouble." And just like that Sonuske had forgiven Fate. He knew he wouldn't have left him without a good reason, Fate wasn't that type of guy. He admired him really, the way he was able to just follow his heart and do whatever whenever. He wished he could live like that, but he couldn't. He always had to take the logical approach to everything, which was good, but could really limit himself at living his life. It was in that spur of the moment that he made a life changing decision... "Hey.... I'm gonna try not to be as lazy so I won't drag you down when you're trying to have fun." And he actually meant it.
He turned to Angeal, to see his reaction to all that had transpired, only to see he wasn't standing there anymore. Where did he just go? He looked around, seeing him swinging his sword at the water's. What was wrong with him? He looked kind of foolish, until the third swing that is. His eyes widened as Angeal tore through the water with his elemental based attack, parting water and killing marine wildlife in the process. "That's one way to put it..." He said glancing over at Lightning, who seemed just as bewildered as he was. What had caused him to take such a random action? He was killing poor innocent creatures!

Angeal's eyes widened as he saw the destruction caused, too bad all those fish had to die for him to learn this new ability. His sword still hot from the explosion of magic, he soaked it in the water that had re-situated itself back at the shore, he watched on as the steam rose in his face. Regardless, what was done is done, there is no way to bring them back. Then Fate said something to him, ''You say that as if I'm a kid who needs to be escorted, I should be saying that to you kid'', he said pulling the blade from the water and slinging it over his back and allowing the water to fly from it and land in the sand.
Sure he was proud that Fate had gotten back alive, meaning he had learned SOMETHING from Angeal. Either that or he was natural at staying alive. ''Vanille? Ohhh, that's that girl Fang was talking about. How do you kow her'', he asked inquisitively. He knew how protective Fang seemed to be over this girl and he would hate for Fate to have to fight her. Obviously because he did not want to take any side. Fate was his student, but Fang was.... Fang.
(This is what you get when I'm tired and have 3 AP classes....sorry)

Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” Lightning just kept her arms crossed as shifted between whoever was talking at the moment. Magic was magic, she simply nodded at Sonuske’s statement about magic being the same as ‘back home’, wherever home was, at least it wouldn’t be that confusing for the guy. Her heart went out to these L’Cie, she had been there once before and it was not a fun road to travel on, she just hoped they had better luck than she did, though in the end, her focus eventually worked out. Fang and Vanille were back and that’s all that mattered right? Cocoon was safe obviously and well…things were dull once again. “Hope everything works out for you…I’ve been there myself, just remember anything can happen, always be alert, and watch your back, especially around here. PSICOM isn’t very L’Cie friendly.” Lightning advised before going back to being quiet and just observing.
Vanille, Lightning couldn’t help but listen in on that subject. The bubbly girls she grew to like and consider a piece of her family, well, she was worth a lot and if the girl was ever in trouble, if any of the ‘gang’ were in trouble, Snow included, you could bet money Lightning would be there. While listening to them all converse, Lightning raised an eyebrow, how the hell did everyone know of Vanille? Fang perhaps? Who knew, but she wasn’t going to say anything until the babbling had stopped. Looking over at Fate Lightning had to ask a question, even if it did mean interrupting the babbling. “When was the last time you saw Vanille? Is she alright?” Lightning still hadn’t seen her since Fang and Vanille had come out of crystal stasis, and she was getting anxious to get her ‘family’ back together.
While more questions of Vanille floated around, Lightning was just staring at the beach and the marine life that had suffered from Angeal’s attack. Though she wasn’t really bothered by it, but it sure did make a mess. Lovely seemed to be an overstatement of what she saw. “Yeah…maybe Lovely wasn’t the right word.” She mumbled letting her eyes wander from the marine life back to Sonuske then back to Fate and Angeal. Seeing this, hearing everything they had said about finding your friends, L’Cie, and even some talk of her own friends Fang and Vanille, Lightning really wanted to find everyone, Sazh, Serah, hell even Snow! It would be nice to see them all again..safe.Words: 499 Muse: Meh, alright Tagged: Fate, Sonuske, Angeal Notes: None

Really? Why couldn't Sonuske just be mad and hate Fate for the rest of his life? This would have made things much more easy for Fate. Still, it was nice to know that he actually had a true friend in Sonuske. All this time he was searching for some sort a purpose to his life when it was right beside him for some time. A honest friendship... Not completely honest. Fate had took Sonuske about all of his past, but he left out one important part. Fate was not exactly human, he was a Sorcerer. The first Sorcerer to exist in his world since the Great Hyne. "Well, now since I failed at being depressing and realize I got myself a true buddy then I should lay all my cards on the table... I'm a Sorcerer. Yup, oh, and to top that off I accidently became this thing called a l'cie..."
Okay, maybe Fate should have waited before mentioning all that, but whatever. It was too late now. He was what he was. He turned his attention back to Lightning, wondering exactly who this woman was. She seemed friendly and Fate was getting that Fang vibe from her. He deciced to answer Lightning and Sonuske's questions with one big statement: "Vanille... She's my girlfriend. She's completely amazing, but I don't want to brag about her," He said, blushing, "Fang and Vanille. They're more than alright! They're alive! Walking around that Gran Pulse."
Fate was just as surprise as Lightning would be. He thought that he was going to have to find a way to live for five hundred years just to see Vanille's smile again. It was funny how things work. That's when he remembered what Fang asked him. Fate turned to Angeal and started playfully punching him on the arm. "Your girlfriend told me to tell you that you were right and to remember your promise..." He smiled, "So tell me Angie... It was those green eyes that got you, huh?" Fate then back away from Angeal just in case the man wanted to hit him for being stupid. He did survive a few episodes with Fang only to be killed by Angeal.
Fate then looked over at Sonuske, laughing slightly. These were good times. Suddenly, Fate stopped and started to circle his friends. He circled his friends three times before stopping and sniffing them both. It seemed weird, but they smelt different. A sheer look of disgust came across his face when he realized the two of them were... "... l'cie. You're both l'cie!?"
