Music: MonsterAttire: Air Word Count: 827The Fallen Feather;; .:No one is born evil into this world, the way I see it... we all have a choice, our paths can only be woven by us:. With a soft grunt, Kyrie jumped from the back of a pickup truck, waving as the driver drove off after dropping her off here. All her years she had never been to a place like this, being cooped up in Banora caused her to live quite the sheltered life. Here there was no silence, unlike there, trucks went by every five minutes. What bothered her the most about this place was... well, she stuck out like a sore thumb.
Lowering her head, she could tell people had already noticed here, she was obviously an outsider to them, they didn't know who or what she was... heh, they and herself were both in the same boat there, even she didn't know now. Maybe being here would give her some answers, hopefully. She'd been like this for years, eversince then she just kept herself hidden from others, remaining solitary for quite some time.
Thinking about it, who here could possibly help her? Especially with the strange looks she was getting, she was still human, right? It wasn't like she had any intentions of hurting them, but they didn't know that. Oh, well...
Still, this place did look nice, it made a change from Banora, relocating would've been a good idea right now due to her home no longer being... how had that even happen? One minute she was looking for food, the next thing she knew, she was returning to a burning down village, everything was gone, since then she was a wanderer. She was aware of ShinRa, a part of her always thought it was their fault, but why would they be in the area? She honestly didn't know.
"Hey, you!" Kyrie, before she could think anymore, was distracted by a voice that interrupted her thoughts, she looked around to see a small group of males heading towards her. Wait... were they talking to her? She blinked and took a step back as the lead man moved his face close to hers quite intimidatingly, his breath smelt of cigar smoke.
"Is... there a problem?" she asked politely, trying to keep her distance, the man just snorted and spat to the side, a sight she didn't want to see or hear, that was just rude and disgusting. "We don't welcome your kind around here!" he said coldly, what did he mean by 'her kind'? Were there others like he--? Oh, no... he must've been referring to the fact that she was a stranger to the area.
Well, that was welcoming...
"I'm sorry, sir... but I have reasons to be he-" she jolted slightly as he cut her off with his loud booming voice, adding to his height, he seemed like quite an intimidating and aggressive man. What a warm welcome she was getting. "Who'd you think you are? Ya'll think ya can just walk right into my town? You don't look nothing like us, so get goin'" he snarled, this only caused Kyrie's eyes to widen in shock, now this man was just being plain rude.
Honestly, were these people paranoid or something? "Excuse me?" she said, trying to stay at least a little calm, she didn't want a fight to break out or anything, already a crowd was beginning to form and she most definitely didn't want these people to think badly of her, that wouldn't have been a good first impression "I wasn't aware that this town belonged to you specifically, and I really have no intention to walk around looking like everyone else here just to please you..."
Unknown to her, that was not what the man wanted to here, in fact... it angered him as he moved closer to her as if he was going to hit her, she nervously backed away. "Please... I don't want any trouble," she said calmly, placing her hands in front of her to somehow shield herself.
Even the people here were different, and her talking just seemed to make the situation worse. What else could she do? She needed help, but these people were not providing that at all.

Rufus ShinRaA good son would have known. He didn't understand what was so great about breaks. Did those Turks and employees of his not understand he was a busy young man? He was the President, for Pete's sake! Rufus could only sigh, and place his hands in his pockets as people moved out of the way of him on the streets. Of course, he wasn't surprised with this. It was quite uncommon to see someone of his importance walking in the streets, rather than up in his office doing what Presidents of huge companies do. But, he had his shotgun placed inside his business jacket, even if it was a bit bulky, but at least this way he had some sort of protection. And he could always summon Dark Nation if the situation called for it.
Though even then, walking down the streets, he still didn't quite understand why his Turks made him take a break. Didn't they understand that as President he had more work than they could even think of? Honestly, sometimes he had to wonder about what Reno and some of his other Turks thought of at points. He could picture the piles of paper on his desk just grow and grow as he was out on this "break", and that made him cringe and scowl as he continued his walk. From now on, he would just have to ignore whoever told him he needed a break and continue on with his work. And if they kept on pestering him, well then pay dock for them.
Feeling the weight of his Shotgun slightly, he shrugged and did his best to get comfortable as he continued on. His white outfit stood out against the dark buildings and dark outfits of the people of Edge, and he just ignored the stares as they just stared on. He could think of all the questions that were most likely running around in their heads. What was the President of all people doing out? Didn't he say he never took breaks? And so on and so forth. He only just ignored them and continued on his way until he heard something up ahead.
It looked like a group of men were surrounding a young female, who seemed almost frightened. She had a simple appearance, or at least what looked simple from what he could see from through the bodies. He became very aware of his Shotgun now, and after standing there hesitant for a moment, walked up, starting to finally hear what the girl was saying.
"I wasn't aware that this town belonged to you specifically, and I really have no intention to walk around looking like everyone else here just to please you..."
The man took a few steps forward, which then made the girl move back, frightened. Now while he usually wouldn't care, Rufus didn't like it when it happened right in front of him. He was trying to be different from his father, whom had ruled the company using fear. That's not how Rufus worked.
"Please... I don't want any trouble."
He walked up next to the group of men, and just stood there, pulling one of his hands out of his pocket, and tapping one on his shoulder.
"Hey, what's going on here?"
He turned and took one good long look at Rufus. He stared even, dumbstruck. Everyone knew who Rufus was, and so did this guy and hopefully all of his little friends as well. Everyone turned then looked at him, all freezing up and staring at the man with all of the power of ShinRa underneath his belt. They didn't even say anything. They just ran. And fast at that. Funny, how even the mere presence of Rufus made people run. Not surprising though. ShinRa had made a lot of mistakes in the past, most of which made people think bad and horrible thoughts. But, he didn't care. He never cared. Rufus only sighed and turned slightly to look at the girl.
"You ok now?"Words: 750 Muse: Good Notes: Hope it was alright. ^^

Music: MonsterAttire: Air Word Count: 559The Fallen Feather;; .:No one is born evil into this world, the way I see it... we all have a choice, our paths can only be woven by us:. Kyrie was not liking this at all! She just wanted help, not to be threatened and hit, it scared her as much as she didn't want to admit, it was true that she didn't know any of these people, but they weren't being very welcoming by treating her in such ways. She was no threat, she hadn't caused any harm to anyone. Were these people paranoid or something?
Just then, a blond haired man decided to walk onto the scene, Kyrie's eyes lit up for a moment, but a sudden fear welled up inside her, hoping that this man wouldn't give her grief also. It surprised her when she saw him tap one of the men's shoulders, when they turned to look at him, her eyes widened as they soon ran off without a word.
Others began to slowly leave the scene, murmuring and whispering, one whisper in particular made her ear twitch with interest."President ShinRa... why's he down here?"
Kyrie blinked as she looked at the whispering women that parted from the scene. What were they talking about? Wait... "Oh, my..." she began, only to end up lost for words as she looked back at the man... was... was this the... the President!? She couldn't help but stare for a moment, he was so neatly dressed, and as much as she wouldn't admit out loud, he was very handsome, too. Not that looks were important, but my, he sure did look like he meant business.
She almost spluttered as she nearly forgot her manners, immediately she bowed to him, her hair falling over her shoulders as she kept her head down respectfully. "President ShinRa... it is an honour..." she didn't really know what to say, though hopefully he didn't think of her as stupid for doing such a thing, she always tried her hardest to be polite and respectful to those in a much higher position than her.
Slowly raising her head, checking to see if it was alright to first, Kyrie took another look at him, smiling at his white attire before looking at her own, a light chuckle escaped her before she placed her hands together. She nodded gently to his question. "I'm fine, really... thank you for your help..." she averted her gaze slightly, no longer afraid, but smiling... and in front of the President, too!
"It seems no one really wants to help me around here, only start fights..." she sighed, looking back to the man raising his fist at her, then again... she couldn't blame him, things must've gotten really bad over the years, how like her to not pay much attention to it all.

Rufus ShinRaA good son would have known. Rufus watched silently as the group of young men ran off after seeing the sight of him almost made them piss their pants. A smirk almost appeared on his face, but he resisted, and just kept his signature stoic look, staring at them as they looked back and sneered. He glared at them, and they just looked back forward and continued to walk off. Those were the type of people that gave Gaia a bad name. And he hated people like that. What was the point of trying to restore ShinRa to it's former glory around Gaia, when you had people like that roaming the streets? It made him sick to his stomach.
He watched silently as people started to walk away, muttering to one another, and glancing back quickly, trying to catch a glimpse of this rare sight. He could hear their supposed-to-be-quiet whispers as they walked off. He could only shake his head and turn to the girl in white who was now staring up at him. He stared back at her, wondering silently to himself as to what she was thinking. Most likely about him. And then she bowed. Deeply. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at that. No one bowed to him like. It was just usually a bow from the head, nothing more, nothing less.
"President ShinRa... it is an honour..."
He didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. He certainly wasn't going to command her to stand up straight. That would sound too weird. Or look weird for that matter. She finally raised her head, and looked back at him, though most likely admiring his attire. The only color this girl was wearing was white with silver accents. Even her hair was white, which surprised him greatly, but he didn't voice nor show his opinion.
"I'm fine, really... thank you for your help..."
He nodded and replied, "Good."
"It seems no one really wants to help me around here, only start fights..."
Rufus didn't say anything, except looking back at the men who weren't very far off, and one man was even shaking his fist at them. Rufus only glared, almost pulling out his Shotgun to show this man that he meant business. Almost.
"So," he started trying, for once, to reap away the silence that was starting to dome itself around the two wearers of white, "you're not from here, are you? No one wears white in a place as desolate as Gaia." Well, except for him. But he was Rufus. He could wear any color of the rainbow and no one would question him. Well...maybe if he wore pastel colors...Words: 532 Muse: Good Notes: At one point, I listened to Lollipop while writing this! XD

Music: Time ForgetsAttire: Air Word Count: 806The Fallen Feather;; .:No one is born evil into this world, the way I see it... we all have a choice, our paths can only be woven by us:. As Kyrie went through her thoughts, she began to notice that The President and herself were slowly beginning to be the only persons around now, everyone else seemed so eager to get away from him, she couldn't think of why that was, but maybe it felt awkward for them to be around someone of such a higher rank.
Then again, thinking about it, Kyrie felt a little sorry for The President, it seemed like just because he was a higher rank that people either judged him in the most envious of ways possible, or just felt too lower class to approach him and speak to him, she didn't know what it could've been. Snapping out of it, Kyrie just took those thoughts as minor, they weren't really important, quite insignificant to be truthful.
She gently placed her hands behind her back and joined them together as she looked at him, he had spoken, but it seemed to her that he wasn't really much of talker, well... maybe he was, but why would he randomly start making conversation with a stranger? It made sense after a while.
It was then she noticed he was looking away from her, she followed his gaze to see that he was watching the men that had caused her trouble, one was even shaking their fist at them. Quite nervously, she made her way over to The President's side, hoping that they would go away soon, but upon doing this, she couldn't help but notice him almost reach for something. Did he have a weapon on him?!
Then again, he was The President, and there didn't seem to be any bodyguards and such looking out for him, so maybe he would need protection, especially after what happened a few moments ago. Before anything else could be said and done, Kyrie looked up at him as he turned to speak to her. She just frowned lightly though at his question, he was one to talk, he was wearing white himself, but still, she didn't want to be rude...
"Well, I am... I was born in the village of Banora... but as I got older, one day when I returned to it after a walk... it was blown up..." she frowned softly as she looked away from him, of course, she hadn't really thought of who had done it, not that she had much time to anyway, going through her state of metamorphosis was worrying and thought consuming enough.
"So... I guess you can say I don't really have elsewhere to go... for the past few years I've just been a wanderer..." Kyrie's eyes lowered to the ground quite sadly, all her memories, things that belonged to her, her mother, and her father... they were all gone, he had built that house just for the three of them to live in.
Feeling quite embarrassed to act in such a way, Kyrie composed herself, letting out something that was barely a grunt or chuckle as she looked back at him. "I guess there's not much I can do about it..." she sighed, looking up at the sky, moving some of her hair behind her ear, she didn't really need to explain her situation to him, but she really did need help, only... it just felt too awkward and hard to explain.
Every day she was changing more and more, she didn't look the same anymore, far different from when she was a teenager. Something had happened to her and she didn't even know what... maybe it just wasn't really important right now, she could let it go for a while, she needed a day to just stop thinking about it and relax.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's someone of your status doing out here on your own? Any one would think you'd at least have some work to do..." she said softly, before hearing her stomach growl, she felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her as that happened, it wasn't very loud, but still... it seemed rude, though it had been a while since she last ate.
