...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Of course, since Cissnei walked off she had no idea Reno and Raze had found a lizard or any of that was going on. How would she have reacted to a lizard falling out of the ceiling? Possibly amazement? Or something more? Of course, since she didn't know that was going on she couldn't be for certain. Still, she walked off and went to go get her weapon, which was in her apartment. On the way Cissnei had to walk past the cafeteria, and so she stopped to get some coffee. Coffee was a must when it came to missions, especially during the early hours. Besides, they could wait an extra minute for her getting coffee. If they had a problem with it, then they could just go fall off a cliff somewhere. Alright, that was extreme, but the fact remained that she didn't entirely care if they were mad at her taking the extra time. If she was going on a mission where many other Turks had died, then she WOULD be taking coffee along with her.
A minute later with coffee at hand, Cissnei was once again walking toward her room. Walking at a good clip, her shorter legs were covering ground quickly at her fast pace. She didn't have the stride of a regular person most of the time, in her business, she had to be quick on her feet, which meant even while walking it was more of a power walk. Opening the door to her living quarters, Cissnei walked inside and grabbed her shuriken. With Reno giving her lessons she had become more and more proficient with martial arts and hand to hand combat, but she still relied on her long range weapons heavily, as they were the type she knew exactly what to do with and was an expert at.
Walking back out, Cissnei proceeded to where the helicopters were at. Seeing the helicopter Reno usually took, Cissnei walked toward it. When she got there, Cissnei glanced inside to see if they were there. Nope. Hmmm. With a shrug, Cissnei opened the door and sat down sideways on the seat, looking toward the ShinRa building. Waiting for them now. She had thought they would already be out, but apparently she had been way off her mark with that assumption. No matter, she could relax a few minutes before mission start. Which was a good thing, with all the missions and crazy stuff happening she hadn't gotten to relax except that day with Reno.
Which of course made her glance down at the ring which was settled on her finger. Taking a sip of coffee, Cissnei brought her hand up and looked at the ring once more. If anyone had asked her a year ago what she would be doing on this day, she would never have said going on a mission as a Turk. Nor would she say that she was dating Reno Sinclair either. But the future often gave you weird turns, this was just another one of those things no one would have seen coming. Taking a deep breathe, she glanced at her watch and then at the building again. Where were they?
Shrugging again, she glanced up at the sky and smiled. She had always loved the sky, it was so open and free. Remembering the conversation she had had with Zack years before, she realized she would still love to have wings. Maybe thats why she liked riding in the helicopter, because it was almost as if she had wings. 'Freedom, for those who have none...' the words she had spoken echoed in her ears. Thats why when Angeal and Genesis had obtained wings Cissnei had been slightly jealous, though she would never admit that to anyone. If she could have had wings, she could have had freedom. Still, she was different then she was back then, maybe living in the real world had actually done her some good.
Words: 746 Muse: Pretty good considering she had absolutely no dialogue! lol Tagged: Reno and Raze Notes: Cissnei might come and find them in a few posts since she's just hanging out in the helicopter lol

Estille shrieked indignantly as the world shrank away from her. Higher and higher she went, until she was dangling a bit too high for comfort. She didn't have a problem with heights, but she was being held up by the tail, and her face was pointed towards the ground. Oh man, he was gonna break her face or something. She went completely still for a second, then glanced nervously up at the freak who had the nerve to just pick her up like she was a rag doll. A low clicking sound rose in her throat. If he didn't put her down by the count of ten, he could say goodbye to his thumb. Her breath came in heavy huffs. Control... she had control. She could take this indignity. They'd all pay eventually, and it was for the sake of her mission.
But, oh, the nerve! In all her confusion at the sudden change of pace, Estille did know one thing: she hated being small. Being picked up like this, being stared at by some red-headed Shinra freak like she was on exhibit, and not being able to do anything about it. But they said they would take her outside... if that meant just dropping her off, then she could sneak right back in, but then she'd have to navigate back through. Ugh, sometimes patience could be such a burden. Once or twice, she felt like biting him on the nose, or burning his hair, but she didn't. Instead, the lizard just stared on soberly, enduring.
Then he did it. He just had to wiggle her around like some inferior worm and piss her the hell off, didn't he? Freaking dog. That was the last straw. Without warning, Estille suddenly whipped her head around and hissed ferociously, puffing her throat and clicking her jaws as a series of vulgar insults reeled through her head.
She stood her ground, huffing and forcing herself to relax. Admittedly, this was pretty unnerving. The two looked like colossi from her point of view. "Of all things, I am not a pest!" She would snarl, on ground or in hand, then relax, breathing softly, "Yes, I am a lab experiment. I was sent to help you collect information on this mission. Just got the memo, so here I am. Tiamat-26, at your service, sirs. Though I would prefer not to be handled in such a crude manner, if you mind." Her voice was cool and collected, and her face was steady like a proper spy's. And that's just what she was, a spy. For one side or the other.

Raze couldn't help but snort with laughter at the sight of Reno's face. Raining reptiles? Interesting. "I'll make sure maintenance knows to check the vents." He was still holding the big lizard by the tail, examining the thing. And then it decided to snap at him. He growled irritably as the thing did a sort of twist thing and hissed at him. He was about to snap his own jaws warningly at the reptile's head, only to grow stiff before he could make the movement. It just.. spoke... What a pleasant surprise...
His grip on the lizard didn't loosen, nor did he put it down. But it was an experiment? That sent a wave of sadness through him, and that old depression flashed in his eyes as he seemed to wilt inside. "So you too have had your life utterly ruined by science..." He said softly, sadly. "My apologies." He placed the lizard on his shoulder and forearm, releasing it's tail as he set it down there.
But he had to shake his head and smile just a bit. "I doubt you were sent to help us. This mission is top secret, you only heard it because you were running around in the ventilation shafts. I have half a mind to take you right back to the lab now, but I know firsthand how horrid it is there. So what did they do to you?" He turned briefly back to Reno.
"I'll meet you and Cissnei at the helicopter in ten minutes. I'll go get rid of the lizard. I'll probably just let it loose in the slums." He turned and walked away down the hallway, taking long strides. This experiment on his shoulder... He felt a certain kinship with it, and hated the fact that it was merely another life ruined by Shin-ra. Of course, he couldn't be sure that it was unhappy with the tests, but the Hybrid believed with all his heart that Shin-ra experiments were nothing but bad.

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Well this was just…oh what’s the word…odd? When reptiles fall out of vents, Reno doesn’t really know what to say. He just stood there blinking, wondering how on earth something could’ve gotten into the ventilation system, especially in a building like this. “Um. Okay, you do that.” He said rubbing the back of his head and looking off to the side as he just glanced at both Raze and the…lizard thing whatever it was every few moments. Weird was probably the best word to define this moment. Cissnei would probably be wondering where they were, she was probably up at the helicopter already, and Reno wasn’t going to make her wait all that long.
Experimentation, it seemed these days that it never turned out good for anyone. Look at Raze, look at Zack and Cloud after they were experimented on by Hojo, it just was never the way to go. Not that Reno exactly knew what to do or say about it, he just stayed quiet as his blue eyes flickered between the…TALKING REPTILE, and Raze. Some things just didn’t faze Reno anymore, this world was full of weird things these days so he just decided to roll with whatever came his way. He shook his head briefly before looking at Estille. “Sorry, didn’t mean to offend you.” With that he smacked his palm to his forehead and looked at the floor. “I’m talking to a lizard…am I going insane?” He mumbled to himself before turning away from Raze and the little reptile he was still holding onto.
“This is a Turk’s mission. Top secret like Raze said.” Reno said quietly as he stared down the hallway with his arms folded. What was this world turning into? Chaos that was what. When Raze stated he would meet him and Cissnei at the helicopter, he turned his head to look at Raze out of the corner of his eyes and nodded some blinking slightly. “Alright, meet you there…just make sure nothing else gets in here okay? Next thing you know a talking bunny will fall out of the ceiling.” He said with a small chuckle before walking off down the hall towards the helicopter pad. Taking long strides Reno opened the door out to the helicopter and walked over to Cissnei shaking his head in disbelief as he felt the need to just…sit down and try to comprehend some things in life. “Heyo.” He said approaching Cissnei with a brief wave and a grin on his face. “Raze will meet us up here soon, he had some…uh things to take care of before we leave.”Words: 537 Muse: Meh, not great, but I posted anyway! ...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Still sitting there in the helicopter staring up at the sky, Cissnei remained deep in thought. what was this mission going to bring? With how many people had gotten hurt she wondered if all three of them were going to make it through the day. It all came with the job, the uncertainty, not knowing if you were going to make it through the day or if you were going to die. All part of being a Turk. Still, sometimes it would be nice knowing, maybe having an office job where you just sat and pushed paper all day every day.
Ok that was an extreme. She had tried the whole job in regular life, and it had been just about the most boring thing she had ever done. So that definitely wasn't for her. A few clouds floated around in the sky and Cissnei watched as they swirled and changed shape. They dissipated and then formed again. So unstable. With a shrug Cissnei took another sip of her coffee and brushed her hair over her shoulder. Where were Reno and Raze anyway? Checking her watch she crossed her legs and leaned back in the seat to close her eyes and rest up a bit. This mission was going to probably turn bad, best to be rested up completely so she could be aware of what was happening around her.
A little sigh came from her as she leaned back and felt her body relax. Call it cliché, but her hand felt weighed down with her ring on it, a constant reminder of what might have been the best moment of her life. Something told her she should go track them down and see what was taking them so long. And yet she didn't, if something was up they'd call her and tell her, so for now she just enjoyed the silence and the moment alone with nothing crazy happening. They didn't come often.
A voice spoke a greeting then and so Cissnei rubbed her eyes with a hand before opening them to see Reno striding toward her. He always made her smile, just seeing him made her do so. Wow Cissnei, your a sap. “Hi. What took you so long?” Lifting her mug toward him, Cissnei glanced over his shoulder, wondering what was keeping Raze. “Coffee?” Uncrossing her legs, she turned toward him more, “Is he coming soon? Part of her was glad, for a few more minutes her life would be stable and no one would be trying to kill her. But of course it would be nice to just get this mission over and done with, put it behind them.
