Martial Arts female had heard about the grunt, Cloud. In her days, he had been nothing but a Grunt soldier in ShinRa. Today, however, he had become somewhat of a rogue SOLDIER. Although, she never read any records that said he was a SOLDIER. Yet, he had a buster sword similar to the SOLDIERs Zack and Angeal. It was him that she had been sent out after. Why, she didn't know yet. She had yet to learn about the L'Cie. She wasn't even aware that even one of her fellow Turk was one too.
Tightening her leather gloves, Maiah's brown eyes narrowed a bit. She had no idea what she was up against but she figured she better have her head clear. If she didn't it would cost her with what she was about to do. Why bring in Cloud Strife though was a mystery. She still had yet to collect more information on him. Even now, on the other line of her cell phone, she had sent someone to go through their files to tell her more about the subject she was tracking.
From what information she gathered, Cloud Strife was a tough individual. However, alone she might not have too many problems handling him. Maiah was a strong girl for a Turk. That was why her weapons were her legs and fists. Listening to what was being relayed to her, she sighed and paused. Where she was, she was just a bit outside the 7th Heaven. "Uh huh, I'm outside the bar as we speak...anything else you can tell me about the target?" she inquired. Right now, she had dropped her usual quirk in talking like a guy. This was Turk business, she had to be more serious and level headed if she wanted to get the job done.
Why the others had insisted she go with another Turk or two, Maiah didn't understand. She never fought Cloud before but she felt a single guy couldn't be too bad. Sure, she wasn't going to underestimate him but she felt that he was being over estimated. "Alright, thanks. I'm going in." With that, Maiah clicked her cell phone shut. Silently, she moved her brown bangs out of her eyes as she scanned the area. It appeared to be void of others.
Good, not many would bare witness to what she was about to do. Quietly, Maiah stepped into the bar. Her senses were on edge as she looked around for the blond figure. She didn't think the target was aware that he was being tracked or even targeted. Not that it mattered, it just left a huge advantage for her. Hopefully, she'd get the job done. Maiah was determined to do her job cleanly and efficiently. There was no going back.

(OOC: Lmfao especially the one where poor Reno got his nose busted.) Martial Arts waited patiently. She knew very well her target would appear if he were really here like her sources had told her. Clutching her fingers, she readied for when he would arrive. She didn't exactly make herself unknown, she had been careful to make noise to make him curious. Looking around, she saw no real sign of anyone else. This situation was just getting better and better. Silently, she observed everything within from her view point. No one was around but she could hear someone out back somewhere.
It was only a matter of time before she would spring her trap. At least she was honorable enough to make her presence known instead of sneaking up on Cloud completely. Folding her arms, she waited as she heard the footsteps getting closer. They were faint, as if the other were unsure about their unsuspecting visitor. Then, before long, someone finally peered out from the stairway. Eventually, the person she was expecting came down the stairs walking toward her with the sword that had been described to her. Looking at it, it was pretty hefty looking.
Her brown eyes remained rather calm and collected despite what she was going to have to do here. Looking at Maiah, it was obvious she was no shorty for a lady. She was much taller than the usual standing at five feet and eight inches. Her appearance suggested she was not one to be taken lightly as she locked eyes with Cloud. His approach didn't at all intimidate her even though Cloud was clearly stronger looking. "I'm not here for a drink..." she trailed off, looking at him directly. Unclenching her fingers, Maiah got ready.
"You're Cloud Strife, are you not?" she questioned him evenly. Well, she decided if things would be civil, she might as well ask him to choose which way he wanted to come in. The easy way...or the hard way. It was always the hard way others chose but one would never know if someone actually went quietly. "I know from the way you're lookin' at me that you know I'm a Turk. I'm Martial Arts, I've orders to take you in." She watched him then after being so up front with the guy.
If he bolted, she would do what she could to keep up with him. Maiah wasn't beyond a fight if it came down to it. Her eyes were locked with his but her peripheral vision kept an eye on that huge sword of his. If Cloud knew any better, he'd note that Maiah's fighting style appeared to be similar to that of Tifa's since her only weapons appeared to be that of gloves. "It's nothing personal, just business." Which was true. With Maiah, this mission was just a job.
Just like she did with every mission, she would make sure she accomplished what she needed to. Whether Mr. Strife liked it or not, he was coming in. Even if she had to drag him the entire way there, unconscious. Maiah was no weakling so dragging him around wouldn't be that much of a hassle. "What's it gonna be? Are you going to come in quietly or do we have to do this the hard way?"

It wasn't like Maiah enjoyed this. She had her orders so she would do as she was instructed to do. She didn't mess around. Facing Cloud, she could see the realization dawn on him then after hearing her speak. At least she had the guts to tell him up front what it was going to be like. Martial Arts wasn't afraid of Cloud but she was prepared for an attack if he were to do so.
Hearing him respond, she didn't flinch. He had every right to get angry with the intrusion. Although, he really should've locked the door if he didn't want any company. Her expression hadn't changed any as he told her that he doesn't take crap from Turks. She knew very well from the history she gathered prior that he and the Turks had many encounters in the past. Specifically, Reno, Rude, Tseng and Elena. Maiah just remained put, she didn't care if he had issues with Turks. Let him judge them for what he thought they were. It was just a job to her, nothing different from the mercenary life if you thought about it.
"Sorry, blondie but orders are orders. Like I said, nothing personal!" she replied evenly, unbothered by his words. She would take him in by any means necessary. Like she said, orders were orders. Martial Arts rarely failed a mission. She wondered how bad this Cloud Strife was. If he managed to hurt Reno pretty good, he might be a problem. Then again, Reno fought three people at once by himself. How was this Cloud all by himself, hm? Probably not too bad but she would see for herself here. Of course, Cloud wouldn't recognize her. Maiah had been a Turk long before his time as a Grunt soldier.
She raised an eyebrow at him quizzically. Save her? Did he really think she was born yesterday? Maiah didn't need any saving here. If anyone needed the saving, it was him. She had no intentions of killing him, just taking him in. For what reasons, she didn't know. Just take him back to ShinRa HQ. It probably wasn't even as bad as this guy thought it was but considering his history with ShinRa, she could see why he would be wary. WRO though was a good thing making up for the mistakes ShinRa made.
"Listen here pretty boy. If anyone needs the saving, it's gonna be you. I'm no damsel in distress and I don't need saving." She tightened her gloves, looking back at Cloud as they were conversing. She noted a strange brand on his wrist. From her studies, nothing had been said about any tattoos or other markings.
"What's that on your wrist?" she inquired. She didn't yet know about the L'Cie and that one of her fellow Turks was one too. She could almost tell Cloud was trying not to go into a fight but it was inevitable, it seemed.
