Nightmares become real...
Love remains the same....

It was if it appeared out like magic before them. She walked over and grabbed it up off the ground for him. As she then placed it in his hands as he looked at the sword. He sighed. It was a constant reminder who he really was. He took the sword and places it on his back and he did feel slightly better. He started to feel a bit naked with out it there. He stopped when she mentioned that everyone was fighting for his life. They were a good ways away from the base now. But he was still keeping a look out in between the trees....As the cold air escaped his lips he looked at Repa. She was indeed a lot smarter than most would take her. Cloud knew her though. Probably better than any one. And this was bound to come up....He was not thinking clearly when he said all he had to her. He didn't really mean it either. He had thought that it would be better to kill him instead of all those innocence lives being lost. Think about Tifa....Cloud smiled when she said that. He hated being away from. She was probably really worried about him by now. But he knew he did not want her to worry. So he would only just think about her. As Repa said. But when she said that he could not leave Tifa devastated over his death...She was right about that. He couldn't do that to Tifa. And Cloud just sighed. As he could see the smile the woman he loved so dearly give him in his mind. For once, Sephiroth was no where around to peek in his mind and disturb him even more. Which Cloud was actually grateful for that right now. Here Repa was, being the hero...He walked up to her and placed a few of his fingers on her cheek and smiled..... "That is more than enough to keep me going...."He said with a smile as he looked her in her eyes just then. Here he was with the true hero. But he would never say that to her. She would not accept it...But she needed to eventually...At least her family needed to see that just once she could do things right....

But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa felt a bit confident over her cheering up plan. Though knowing Cloud it could shatter at any moment. She just wanted him to be happy, to forget the life of a L’Cie, but that was hard to do when everyone from everywhere wanted you dead. But from now on Repa was there, she was by his side through this completely, he needed to know that they weren’t just fighting for him…they were fighting for the future. So keeping a little quiet, trying to see if her efforts had paid off, Repa just sloshed her shoes around in the water at they continued. This place was so pretty, all green and flowery, it was a nice change, even Delatorr didn’t have this many flowers. Sure it was green but never this vibrant, it was relaxing somewhat. Talking about Tifa was probably a risky move, it would either brighten up Cloud’s day, or make him feel even worse. Repa just hoped it helped, and it seemed to, because anytime she glanced at him after that, a smile was on his face. Success, Repa was a freaking Genius. At least she felt like it, when he came up and told her that would keep him going, it just confirmed her feeling. Her smile widened quite a bit as she felt just plain happy. “Well good, im glad, because im starting to run out of ideas!” She said letting her eyes wander around this beautiful place. “So I’ve done a little bit of research about this world…and if my directions are right…we should be heading for a place called Nautilus…or The Gapra Whitewood…hopefully its Nautilus, we can blend in there. I hear PSICOM doesn’t patrol over there heavily.” She said positively, but if push came to shove and they did enter the whitewood, well they’d have to be careful, full of bioweapons. If Cloud had said she was the true hero, you know Repa would’ve denied it, or said something along the lines of her not doing much. She was far too modest to realize all the work she was putting into this. Physically and mentally she was doing a lot and could really hurt herself, but this was for Cloud…her best friend…her brother. The waterscape was starting to darken, it was getting muddier and more rocky than grassy. That meant they were heading towards Nautilus. “I left my phone back on Gaia…otherwise we could’ve escaped back to there by now…there’s gotta be another way to get back…if PSICOM can do it…why can’t we?”Words: 529 Muse: Pretty good. "It's alright...Those bastards came to my home world some how, we will simply just have to figure out how they did it...And use that against them...."He was indeed ready to get back home. He's been here once. And he was nearly bulleted to death when he was. So this place was not the best of places he liked to remember. He wanted to get home just as much as she did. As he continued to walk on with her. The area they were in was almost relaxing. But he had so much on his mind to notice the nature scene. Maybe on a better day and a better area. Then maybe. But as of now, he was not worried about stopping and smelling the flowers. He was a wanted man on this soil. and he had to get out of here.... "Hey, Repa...Did you and Yazoo ever like get together or some thing?" He was trying to keep his mind off the current situation. And the change in subjects could be a diversion. For his mind. He walked on with Repa by her side. Still keeping a look out where ever he saw or heard some thing in the forests next to them...He was not taking any chances at all....PSICOM had thee higher ground in this place. They new this area better than them...Regardless if Repa had done her research.

There was always a way to get around…Repa did it when she arrived to Gaia…of course she didn’t have that technology anymore. “I came to your world remember that…it might be all based on the same type of technology…if we’re lucky…we can hack it or something.” But there was just one teeny tiny problem…how were they going to get that device? Walk up to PSICOM and ask them for it? No…once all rested up, they’d have to infiltrate PSICOM forces and take it from them by force. Great, wouldn’t that be fun? Repa just sighed a dismissed the thought from her mind, now it was just time to get some air…relax…and get ready for an ongoing battle ahead. But the question Cloud asked really caught her off guard, as she was indeed taking in the sights and smells of the flowers she coughed and turned away from Cloud. What had Cloud asked? Oh right, Yazoo. “Oh. Um…I guess I don’t really know right now. I haven’t seen him in…a long time actually…so much going on you know? This L’Cie thing…that Sephiroth guy…all that stuff…” She said continuing their walk and coming across a rocky hill almost. “I guess time’s slipped away from me again…I didn’t realize how long it had been since I last saw him…at least until now.” She said carefully making her way up the hill and looking over it. A smile crossed her face as she saw bright lights ahead. “Nautilus…City of Dreams…” She said softly as she hoisted herself over the other side of the rocky hill and down it. Scaling it pretty much. Once at the bottom Repa smiled happily, forgetting the topic of conversation a few moments ago. She looked back at Cloud. “Now Cloud…I know you’re on high alert looking for PSICOM and everything…but do me a favor okay…loosen up a bit…relax…try to have a little bit of fun okay?” She said before walking towards an electric fence like gate…there was a hole in it large enough for them to get through so that was nice. Repa took it slow and stepped through careful not to touch the sparking wires around her. “Live a little! It’s an amusement park! Enjoy it for the time being…” She said happily, her cheery disposition hopefully making an impact on Cloud. Words: 517 Muse: Great Notes: None |

"I'm just glad you have found some one. Though not my choice in guys for you. But you surprise a lot of people a lot. And I've seen the way he is with you...So, things must be wonderful between you two...Is it?" He asked her as he walked on with her he was a bit more relaxed now. He hoped their resting point for now was close. He was so tired. The events earlier with his brand really worn him out. He hopes he would never have to use that damned thing again. He did read though that your first year of a L'Cie was the worst. And after a while it gets better...All Cloud wanted was this to get over with. He was really hating this whole thing. And it was really getting to him. He was not the same Cloud everyone knew. But, what could he do about that? He just had to accept himself and get on with it... He stopped then to rest against a tree....He was not the same....He was usually much stronger than this! But he was just tired and he wanted to sleep....For once he really wanted to sleep. He cared less about his night mares or any thing else. He just wanted to rest. But he knew Repa would not let him not now. He knew she means well though. That she wanted to get him to a safe place. But where on this planet were you ever safe at? Especially if you are public enemy number one....

Didn’t he…ya know…HATE Yazoo? At least he was making an effort…that’s all that mattered. “Things are pretty good…at least last time I checked.” Repa shrugged a bit continuing to walk but slowing down her pace as she looked back at Cloud…he seemed…tired. Well why wouldn’t he be? But there really wasn’t time to stop…PSICOM was everywhere and they needed to get going, but Repa couldn’t just watch Cloud walk around dead tired…she knew what that was all about. So when Cloud stopped and leaned against a tree Repa looked around and smiled a bit. “We can stop here for awhile…you rest…I’ll keep a look out alright?” She said turning back to Cloud and nodding over to a small grassy area where it would be more comfortable to rest, over by a lake and then after this rest…off to Nautilus! “You look tired…take a nap or something…I’ll let you know if we need to get moving…” Repa said walking over to the spot she pointed out earlier and sat down in the grass leaning back against a tree with a sigh. “Nautilus is close…once through there…who knows where we will end up.” She said with a shrug letting her gunblade appear in her hands as she laid it across her lap, gripped in her right hand just in case she needed it quickly. Almost debating whether to sleep herself, Repa kept her eyes open, glancing every which way every now and then, PSICOM wasn’t here…no sign or sound of them. That was great…although you could never be too sure. All she knew was that she had to make sure Cloud was safe and got enough rest…if they had to stop in Nautilus for the night they would do so…Cocoon didn’t seem to have any alerts on Cloud yet, PSICOM wanted to keep their failures on the down low…rather loose Repa and Cloud than lose their pride. He nodded but he was so sorry for not be as strong as he used to be... "I'm sorry...." He apologized to her as he slid down to the ground then. But sleep was the right thing to do while they had stopped if not for a few moments. He just needed a thirty minute nap and he would be good to go again....After that he held on to his sword's handle tightly as though it was guarding his life. Which it was really. But he held on to it like he was scared if he let it go there would be PSICOM surrounding him in a matter of seconds. He didn't take long either before he was out cold from the lack of sleep. And for once it was not a night mare. It was when he had asked Tifa's hand in marriage...He wanted to remain here for as long as he could in her arms...But he forgot where he was....And who was after him...Then Tifa started telling him to wake up....As he groaned slightly....Not realizing it was actually Repa trying to wake him up and telling him he had to get up so they could move on...He didn't want to wake up....He for once was enjoying sleep....

I should be sorry…I’ve seen the way this L’Cie stuff has been draining you…we should take things a little slower. You need the rest.” She said with a small smile as she had sat down beside Cloud, just watching the area and making sure everything was clear and good to go. As the time went on, Repa kept her gaze on the grass as she had her gunblade to her side on the ground and she was just playing with the grass below her. Cloud seemed to be sleeping soundly, which was good, he really needed it. Glancing down at Cloud Repa smiled a bit, he didn’t seem restless he seemed…at peace. Leaning back against the tree Repa sighed. Without her phone all there was to do was look at the nature around her…it’d been almost an hour since Cloud crashed. She’d let him sleep as long as possible, unless she felt something coming or something like that. They had to get a move on through Nautilus before it got too late in the day. Standing up to stretch her legs, picked up her gunblade and searched the area. All was quiet, just the distant sound of birds chirping through the trees and little critters running around. Almost too comforting. Not being able to keep track of time was really bothering Repa. With a sigh she looked back at Cloud. Still at peace…she walked over and knelt down, shaking his arm trying to wake him up. It had to be at least an hour…would he be okay to go on? “Cloud…wake up…we gotta get going before it gets too late…” She said softly before sitting next to him once again and sighing…she’d let him wake up when he was ready. “Boy sleeps like a rock that’s for sure…” she smirked to herself just waiting. “No no. I should be sorry…I’ve seen the way this L’Cie stuff has been draining you…we should take things a little slower. You need the rest.” “Cloud…wake up…we gotta get going before it gets too late…” “Boy sleeps like a rock that’s for sure…” He was in peace. For once he was sleeping as he should. No night mares clouded his mind. Which was why it was hard for Repa to wake him up. It was not a moment to soon though, that his tired eyes opened up after she shook him. He saw her sitting next to him. "How long was I out?" He asked her quietly as he looked at his watch. And forgot that his watch on his cell was well, useless here...and he sighed and closed it up again and placed it in his pocket.... "Come on...We gotta get moving...." He stood up then. He was still tired but he was damn right determined to get to their destination. So he could rest. He knew Repa was worried about him. But, he could only act as though there was really nothing bothering him. Which there was.... A lot was bothering him....Being in this hell hole for one thing. Worrying about never seeing his friends again. Or worse...Never seeing Tifa again....Worrying if PSICOM will capture him...and kill him off. That terrified him the most. He wasn't ready to die. And even though he was falling apart he would still fight to the very end if that is what it took. He was tired that was no doubt either. How long would he be able to keep this up? She was right about one thing. This L'Cie crap was draining him....He had to be careful as to when to use that power again. He didn't wanna over do it. Though that was just a taste of what his power was....He hadn't even unleash the full extent of it yet....And he hoped he didn't have to....

But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” It took a few minutes for Cloud to wake up, but Repa didn’t mind, it’s not like anything bad was going on right now…just getting dark. When he finally woke up and spoke Repa stretched a bit. “About an hour I think…maybe more.” She said hesitantly, not knowing these things was almost a bit…embarrassing, especially when they were so simple. It seemed Cloud had a bit more determination than before…Repa was happy, perhaps it was from the sleep? When he said they should get going she nodded in agreement and hopped up to her feet, a little tired herself. Once up she stretched up big then sighed. “Next stop…Nautilus…once we get there…we can rest for awhile…then get moving again.” She said not very happy that they were even here to begin with…without her own technology, Repa felt pretty useless, not knowing how to get back to Gaia…they’d have to steal something from PSICOM or something….that was how it had to be. The waterscape was really pretty…at least before the ground turned from grass to rock…that meant they were getting closer towards the city. The sky stared to cloud up and thunder could be heard in the distance. “That doesn’t sound good.” Repa stated before starting to walk off towards the city, Nautilus. The area became less rocky and more dull as they reached an electric fence, luckily there was a hole in it. “Um…try not to touch the wires…this doesn’t exactly look friendly.” She said observing the sparks coming off the fence from raindrops. With that she carefully stepped one foot in the hole and stepped out carefully without hitting the wires. “We’re almost there…”Words: 383 Muse: Good Notes: none |

“About an hour I think…maybe more.” “Next stop…Nautilus…once we get there…we can rest for awhile…then get moving again.” “That doesn’t sound good.” “Um…try not to touch the wires…this doesn’t exactly look friendly.” “We’re almost there…” He nodded and stayed away from the wires she spoke about. He looked up at the sky. Great rain. And soon then, the rain came. Cloud's hair was soaked it looked a bit weird as some of the spikes fell out of place....But he really did not care about his hair at the moment. He followed Repa to the city. "Good. Hopefully no more danger for us for a while. Come on...." He walked where she said to walk and was being very careful as much as he could. All the while he was thinking he was one step closer to getting back home. But he too was beginning to think how they would even get back on Gaia. Cloud was pretty much out of it the last time Yazoo brought him here....He was not sure how they would get back without Repa's little tech handy. Which she mentioned not having. Other wise they would be out of here in a heart beat....But PSICOM was smart when they kidnapped Cloud and her......To not let any escape routes be in hands reach...Cloud sighed as he thought more about Tifa...He knew she was far more than worried about him now....But there was no way he could let her know that he was alive and alright...

But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” The rain started earlier than Repa expected it, oh well, it was only water right? As they made their way through the fence and towards the city of Nautilus, Repa could see the colorful lights and sound of music ahead…Nautilus park. Her eyes instantly lit up and a smile stretched across her face, time to break out the old puppy eyes trick. She skipped ahead a few steps and turned around, walking backwards in front of Cloud. “Hey…do you think we could stop in and check out the park? I’ve heard good things…and it’d be a great place to just hang out…not have to worry about PSICOM or anything.” She said using her best puppy dog eyes. It would really be a change, to have fun once in awhile and to get Cloud to clear his mind…have fun…make the most of life. After asking Repa turned back around and walked forward heading into the city. Now this place…was the definition of the term ‘bright lights, big city’ It was huge! And very colorful, it was almost…spirit lifting, kids running around laughing, the adults looking happy themselves. Not a care in the world. It was as if, no one had mentioned anything about any fugitives running around Cocoon, they all seemed care free, some even waved at Repa and Cloud with smiles on their faces. “Wow…this place seems beyond friendly…” She commented softly, Nautilus park was just ahead in the heart of the city…it was up to Cloud whether they stay or go, one thing Repa knew was that PSICOM wouldn’t be there…they don’t open fire on crowds of this size…it’d be the perfect place to go…besides…they had chocobos! But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa was so jazzed by all the lights and everything Nautilus had to offer, it really was the city of dreams. Her face lit up and just stared around at everything, so bright and friendly, so inviting, it was so much more different than Edge and definitely lacked security. That was perfect. She sighed heavily when Cloud said they should be under cover, sure he was right that they should lay low for not, but this was NAUTILUS! He had to learn out to let loose sometimes and to have fun. She shook her head a bit before placing her hands on her hips and looking over at Cloud. “You’re probably right…but how many opportunities like this just fall into your lap?” She said before looking back at the park ahead. It looked like a nice place to relax, laugh and enjoy yourself for once. “Come on Cloud, you gotta learn to live for the moment! Enjoy the time you have to have fun…forget your worries for a little bit…spend time with me! It’s all in good fun…besides…like I said, PSICOM isn’t heavy around these parts.” She said with a grin trying to con him into going. It would be so much fun if Cloud were to actually smile and joke around today…Repa wanted to give him a little bit of time to forget his worries.
A couple hours?! That was all Repa needed! Repa was going to be sure to make Cloud have a good time. She was going to put all the effort and energy she had into making sure he had some fun for a change. She smiled happily at his response, to them actually be able to go the park and she tugged on his arm to get going. “Alright! Sounds great to me! I have one goal for this evening…I want to see you smile! Even if it is a pitiful weak smile…I WANT TO SEE IT! Just once!” She laughed a little trying to lighten the mood, maybe if she worked really really hard at it, they would have a good time and Cloud would lighten up a bit instead of emoing around all the time. She had some good work ahead of her.
Coming into the park now, Repa laid eyes on something that truly amazed her. Something she had never seen before, but definitely heard of. A chocobo. The giant yellow bird squawked and walked over to her and she just gasped with a smile on her face. “Is this…a chocobo?!” She said reaching out her hand to touch the beak of the incredibly friendly bird. Once her hand touched the chocobo, it lowered its head so she could pet its feathery head. Now Repa really felt like a kid again. “Okay I can officially die happy…I’ve seen my first chocobo!” She giggled before the bird lowered its head to Cloud and squawked once again flapping its wings around trying to get him to pet it. Repa laughed a little, if only she had a camera. “I think he likes you.” She said with a smile aimed in Cloud’s direction.Words: 627 Muse: Great Actually! Notes: None |
