The air of the city felt so compressed and dead. The sky held barely any clouds and the faces that she passed were full of such pain. Just what could have happened here? It had been some time since her arrival to this Sector 7, and still Yuna felt as though she had learned nothing. Just where did that portal in Besaid come from? Why did it bring her here? Just what was she supposed to do? Watching as dirt covered children ran down the cracked concrete sidewalks, Yuna could feel just how much she stood in such a dark place. Hands place behind her back, she peeked into alleyways and saw many people sitting upon the ground in the dark. Some even held out their hands towards her, asking for money. Sadly, she had none to give. It had been some time since she had felt so helpless, so unable to do anything to help those in need. The girl continued to walk in till she decided to stop and lean sit upon the ground herself. Where was she going? Her feet had been moving her, but they didn't know the location in which they were headed? There was really no point in moving at all, not in till she actually had an idea of her destination. Yet as she sat, she felt her eyes slowly begin to drop. This wasn't the place to rest and she knew it, but she felt so tired. Before she even realized, her body began to lean before falling against the ground. ------------------ "I'll come back...I promise!"Raising her hand as she smiled towards the young children within the village, Yuna waved as she began to walk from the entrance of her home to the outside reaches of Besaid. It was a beautiful morning, much like many that had come to Spira. But she wasn't out just for the scenery, she was looking for someone. While she had a good guess as to where that person might be, she took her time since she realized that he had done the same by not waking her. Moving along the cliffs, she made sure to say a prayer for Chappu before continuing on her way. The beach wasn't far, but it was still quite a journey in reaching it. Lucky, the sighting of many monsters had been rare lately. Perhaps maybe this was the true sign of a true peace. Maybe....Yuna could hope for it at least. Nearing the water fall, the young woman noticed a swirling image within the center of the falling stream. Making her way under it, she stared into the water from the opposite side and saw that it was the exact same image from that point as well. "What is this?"Holding her hand close to her chest, Yuna built up enough nerve to reach out towards it. Though this would prove to be a mistake. For within moments of doing so, the rest of her body would be pulled in, disappearing inside. -------------------------- Yuna continued to dream as the world outside her head moved on......

Sector 7... it was exactly as they said it would be and then some. It was the slums compared to some places he'd seen. But even the depressing atmosphere wasn't bringing him down. Servos moved a leg as he sat. No noise came from it and he smiled. Repairs were complete and he was safe from the looming shadow of death. However something near him caught his attention.
It seemed every time Servos had a break and sat down in an alley, something happened. A young woman, probably close to 20, plopped down onto the ground near his alley. She seemed quite tired and was probably lost. His suspicions about her exhaustion level was confirmed as she fell over. He would have just let her sleep, but he wasn't the only one who noticed her. He eyed some shady-looking men on the opposite side of the street where the girl had passed out.
Servos scooted himself close enough to the woman where he could poke her in the shoulder. As he did, he said in a low voice, "Hey, miss. This is not the best place for a nap. Stay awake just a bit longer. I know of a place that would safer. C'mon wake up." He poked her again.

The images in her head shifted once again, almost like an incomplete memory sphere that was missing another piece to explain the other. Now she saw upon the beach, hugging a blonde haired young man. Her eyes were closed as she dug her face into his shoulder. As she slowly began to rise up upon her toes to kiss him, a prodding pulled her away from the scene in a flash of white. In mere moments, Yuna's eyes began to flutter before opening half way. Her vision was sideways due to her laid out position on the ground, but she swiftly corrected that when she heard a voice from close by. Raising herself upright, she looked towards the stranger and blinked. Then she gasped as she bowed quickly. How silly of her to have fallen asleep here. Especially when it was likely the most dangerous moment to do so. She had no idea of what this place was like, and that could mean a number of things were possible. "I'm so sorry! I didn't realize that you wanted to sleep here!"Preparing to stand up, she then listened to him as she tilted her head to the side. A safer place? Was that why he woke her up? Looking around, she began to think that the offer wasn't such a bad idea. Now that her senses had become more aware, she noticed a few unwelcome stares from near by. But was she any better off with a total stranger? Hmm...If he wanted to harm me, he would have already done it....He doesn't seem to be untrustworthy..Looking back towards him, she smiled while bowing her head again before raising it to greet him with a kind smile. "Ok....Thank you...."

He smiled as she thanked him. "No problem. You seem like a nice person, and I don't like when bad things happen to nice people." He picked himself off the ground and adjusted the weapons crossing on his back. "My name is Serovs. Servos Matche. What's your name?"
He started to walk down the street away from the thugs loitering on the stoop opposite them. "Judging by the way you were carrying yourself, I'd say you aren't from Gaia." He turned a corner, glancing back to make sure the girl was following him. The last thing she'd need was to be even more lost.
In doing so, Servos didn't see the thug with the board swing at his head. The blow would knock him down with a metallic thud. A squad of these shady men then appeared out of the shadows of the alley, descending on the lady -trying their best with cat calls and lame pick-up lines- while a few of their comrades continued to try and pummel on Servos.

"My Name is Yuna.....It is nice to meet you Mr. Matche"Bow once again, she then quickly jogged behind him before returning to a steady walk. The area was indeed dark looking, but it wasn't anything different from what she had seen so far. Still, it made her sad to think that such a place could exist, what could have caused such environment? That was the constant question that ran through her thoughts. When Servos concluded that she wasn't from Gaia, Yuna shook her head and then tilted it. So that was what this place was called. She had thought it was Sector 7, but Gaia. Such a strange world for a beautiful name. But than, was Spira any better before the Eternal Calm? Beneath its supposed year of peace has been lies and unneeded sacrifice. The only difference was that this world's troubles could be seen within each face more clearly than the next. Yet just as she was about to ask him about this matter, she was shocked to see a random stranger strike him upon the head with a wooden board while others began to descend upon her and the attacked Servos. Yuna stepped back slightly, but within moments she withdrew both her pistols as she held a stern expression upon her face. While she did feel pity towards this people, she would not let them have their way with her or the man that had been kind enough to help her. "Im sorry....But I will not allow you to do this! Step away! Now!!"

The crowd seemed to be held at bay by the sudden appearance of firearms, but the shock of it faded as three members produced arms of their own. The others produced various melee weapons and advanced again on the woman.
Meanwhile, Servos got over the surprise of the initial attack and rose to his feet. "That... hurt." He muttered as he grabbed the fist of one of thugs as it was thrown. Quickly he bent the man's hand back, breaking his wrist. As he howled in pain, another goon went to punch Servos in the stomach. There was the sound of metal banging as he too howled in anguish."Jeez! Its like punching a building!"
"You're only half right." Servos said as he opened his coat and lifted the PSICOM uniform he'd 'found' and continued to wear. "It more like you tried to punch a tank." He reached for his sword and his attacker fled.
The group around Yuna had yet to notice the disappearance of their comrades. From the back, Servos withdrew his shotgun and fired around into the sky. This got all of their attentions and the mob moved to look at him.
"Please note: I am armed, angry, and happened to have Materia. If you continue harassing me or this lady, I cannot guarantee anyone's well being." With this part of the crowd left. The three who had guns and two with metal baseball bats were all that remained.

The rapid disappearance of their attacks had caught Yuna off guard, as well as the discovery of Servos recovery. A smile crossed her face in seeing he was ok, as well as capable of ridding them of most of the unwanted visitors. Staring towards the two with the metal bats, she took careful aim as she aimed two shots towards their hilts in attempt to knock the weapon's from their grasps before turning her attention to the ones with the guns. "I believe that you have been warned...You should probably leave now....and not attempt this on anyone ever again...."While the young woman was for avoiding violence, she was more than capable of fighting back if she had to. If they thought that she was simply a pretty face, they were mistaken. Yuna had learned much over the years and traveling with her friends had made quite the impression on her. In away, she could be just as serious as Paine if brought to a certain point. But she understood that this wasn't just nature acting on its own. It was also the environment too. Yuna understood, but wouldn't let them get away with such actions.

As soon as the weapons hit the ground, the men with baseball bats fled. Not far behind them, the gunner retreated as well feeling far out-classed. Servos let out a half-sigh, half-chuckle as he put the shotgun back on his back.
"You're pretty handy with those guns. Nice work... Yuna, was it?" He complemented, gesturing to her weapons. He went to shake her hand, revealing something odd. The skin tone on his hand was slightly different than his face. What had appeared to be flesh was actually nothing more than cleverly painted steel. It was now obvious that he wasn't merely human, but something... more.
