A cold wind blew across the Order's Sanctuary. It bore a crisp fresh bitterness to the taste. A few tiny pebbles blew along with it, being the only visible signs of movement. In the distance, a few random strikes of lightning hit the ground. In the middle of the vacant wasteland, the remnants of a once grand throne stand silent and cold, void of the person it was meant to house. It was no surprise that a shining ethereal light began to shine upon the seat. It rushed in a sudden burst and flashed brightly. The glowing that once appeared faded to a background lighting around the figure that had now appeared in the throne. It was a woman for intents and purposes. She had long flowing blonde hair that curled at the ends, blue eyes that showed a deep and inconceivable sadness and a sorrowful expression on her face. She wore a long and flowing white and gold dress, with a see through white wrap around her arms. The woman hated herself. She knew the state and rules of this domain. She had to obey the orders from the creator. She had to fight her spiritual twin, and fellow god, Chaos and win. Sighing lightly, she raised her hand into the air. A glittering sparkle appeared in the air just above it. Tensing slightly, she lifted it slightly and it burst upwards into the air. Once into the clouds, light burst through the darkness. A shower of meteors bean to fall. The woman knew that these were not falling meteorites but rather the chosen ones, by fate, to help win the war between Harmony and Chaos. Sighing again, she waited as the first of the lights fell, awaiting their arrival....

Rinoa had seemed many shooting stars in her life. It had been one of things she did when she was a little girl. She believed in making wishes upon them too. Each night, she look out from the balcony and close her eyes and ask for many things. Much of them were childish and too trivial for her to remember. But there was one wish that always remained with her. It was a week after her mother's funeral. She had awoken up in the middle of the night, tears running down her five year old face from witnessing a bad dream. Holding a stuff bear close to her chest, the small child walked out to her balcony and looked up into the night sky. Rubbing her eyes with her free hand, she whispered her request to a passing star as it rocketed by. She had asked for her mother. Maybe that was when she stopped believing in wishes, and knew that some things couldn't be given...and that action was often the only course. Would that mean that she doesn't still wish upon stars? Waking up upon shallow watered ground, the raven haired female groaned as she rose to a sitting position. Eyes scanning her surroundings, she couldn't recall where it was she had been headed. It just seemed like such a blur. Had she not been walking through Balamb Gardens only moments ago? Yet now she was in a world covered in white and gray. "What the....."Before she could say any more, Rinoa's eyes looked up to the sky as what appeared to be shooting stars continued to rain down from the sky. Just what was happening?

Adventure was never something she asked for. In truth, Yuna had never really thought of what her life would be after her pilgrimage. Death seemed certain. It was for the good of Spira, and she had prepared herself to give her life away for it's people. It was only in till meeting Tidus that she started to think for herself. With the help of him and the others, they found that the true threat was hidden behind the very ritual that so many had died for, what her father had died for. After they finally brought the Eternal Calm, she had expected to spend the rest of her life with the one person who had shown her a world outside of duty. But then...he vanished. While she didn't say it, it had left her feeling empty, as if she had done all this for nothing in the end. Was that selfish of her? While she had completed what she set out to do, she had gained nothing from it..except for the feeling of freedom. Freedom...That was the gift Tidus gave her before he left....but what was the point if he wasn't there to share it with her? It took some time, but she managed to somewhat move on. Or so she thought. Upon finding a sphere with a message within it, Yuna was once more out on a quest. This time, to find Tidus and bring him back. How much adventure had she had in meeting this young man from Zanerkand? How much had it changed her? Was she not like before or was she truly different? Rising up off the ground, the high summoner found herself in an unknown land. Staring out into the distance, she noticed that the stars were falling out the sky, or what appeared to be stars. "What is this place...ow..."Rubbing the bruise ontop of her head, Yuna winced once again upon touching it and decided against touching it further.

Standing in the rain... It was a pretty pitiful. The feeling of abandonment had turn Squall into his own worst enemy. Solitude. Squall believed that it would keep him safe from being hurt ever again. He kept to himself and not rely on anyone then he would not have to worry about the heartache of being abandoned. But Rinoa was his guiding light that lead him out of the darkness. Squall hated the person that he was and what he would have become if he had not been saved.
Now it was something that he had to live with. He had changed for what he thought what was the best, but no matter how hard he tried everyone only seen the selfish Squall. Sadly, that just meant he would have to try much harder so that everyone could see that he changed. He placed his arms behind his head as he stared at the ceiling, lost in his thoughts. We'll have to fight Ultimecia again... I wonder what everyone else is doing? ...I'm thinking too much again... Maybe we should go visit Ellone and that Laguna guy, it's been a while since we seen them...
Finally, Squall had fell asleep. When Squall opened his eyes he quickly sat up, staring around. His room was gone? Where... am I? He quickly jumped to his feet when he realized that he was in water, shallow water. Great! Now the back of his outfit was pretty soaked. He realized that his gunblade was at his waist, placed carefully at his belt. It was strange... He did not remember grabbing it.
He looked to the skies watching the shooting stars for a moment... Where was he? One foot after another, Squall started to move forward to search for some sign of life, some sign to let him know where he was. He paced slowly down as he approached a young girl, Yuna, who looked to be the same age as him. "Hey... Do you know where we are?" He stopped a good few feet away from her just to be safe. Still, from the look she had Squall thought that maybe she was experiencing the same thing as him... She awoke in this new world.

::...The Puppy...:: [/color][/u] ”Boy oh Boy, the price for freedom is steep.” Zack woke up with a splitting headache and a glare that was shining in his eyes. Groaning, he sat up and looked around. White and grey were everywhere, surrounding him. “What the...” Rubbing his forehead, Zack yawned and laid back down, trying to figure it out. “Your probably just dreamin' Zack, like that other time you did and it was all white.” Yeah...but he had been floating in Mako at that point in time. Closing his eyes, Zack tried to remember the last thing he had been doing back in Gaia. He had been walking through Edge...on his way to meet up with Reno and talk about those portals that had been popping up.
Wait...
Could that be what this was all about? With another groan Zack rocked back and jumped to his feet, stretching to his full height and glancing around. What was this place? Another world? But what world? At least he was prepare-...Reaching back for his buster sword, Zack suddenly froze. It wasn't hanging on his back. Another groan left his mouth as he whirled around to try and find it. Once he turned it caught his eye, only a few feet behind him, buried in the white ground. “Good thing, thought I'd lost ya.” Picking it up out of the ground, Zack twirled it three times before settling it on his back.
Now...to find out where I am...
Turning around again, Zack put his hands on his waist and tried to think of exactly what he should do. Ok so he was obviously not dreaming, if he was he wouldn't have a headache...right? Well he was going with that idea anyway. Striding away, Zack went to go find out just where he was and why he was here. Strides turned into jogging as he went through more and more white, it seemed to go on forever. Thats when he noticed the stars. Glancing up, he saw one fall, but shook his head and continued on. He wasn't wishing on any star that was for sure.
It keeps going on forever...
A girl suddenly came into his line of vision. A shorter girl with dark hair, wearing blue. “Heya! Wait up beautiful!” Zack continued to jog toward her. Always the 'flirt' Zack couldn't help but notice just how pretty she was. Time to turn on the charm. When he got closer Zack slowed to a walk, “This can't be to bad anymore, at least I'm stuck here with a beautiful woman, even if I have no clue where I am.” Giving her a smile, Zack decided to introduce himself. “Zack here, Zack Fair, whats your name? And do you know where we are by chance?”

Post by Oerba Dia Vanille on Feb 15, 2011 18:40:06 GMT -5
Hopeful DreamerWishes can come true. But not if you just wait for miracles. Miracles are things we make for ourselves. Here, and now. Vanille was curled up in a ball, her knees close to her as she laid on her side. Her hands curled under her face like a pillow as a smile was on her face. Last thing she knew she was in a field on Gran Pulse playing with those adorable little sheep that would follow her around sometimes…and she just happened to doze off apparently. Feeling something nudge her back, Vanille giggled thinking it was one of the little sheep nudging her with its nose to wake up and she waved her hand around a bit after pulling it from out beneath her face. “Just a few more minutes okay?” she giggled before the nudging started to hurt before she heard something snap and her eyes opened wide at the sound as she sat up and turned to see her binding rod a few feet away and completely unfolded.
That was the least of her worries though. Looking around at this dim, grey area, Vanille sat on her knees and reached over for her binding rod, her eyes scanning the area but…nothing seemed to grab her attention other than the fact that she had no idea where she was. Rising to her feet, the young woman held her binding rod close and just figured she had laid on it, causing it to unfold…but still, she needed to know where she was. It didn’t seem dangerous to her so with a quick breath she folded her weapon and placed it securely on her bear sash around her waist. “So…this isn’t good.” She mumbled to herself as her upbeat peppy attitude diminished some. Of course, who wouldn’t be a bit…down about being someplace you knew absolutely nothing about?
Wandering around aimlessly, Vanille sighed heavily. This was not turning out to be an awesome day. Those sheep were a whole lot more fun than this dead beat place. When things seemed down, then that’s when Vanille noticed stars shooting across the sky. She stopped in her tracks and stared up at them, her face lit up with awe as she stared at them. Her hands came together with her first and last fingers coming together, a symbol she did a lot when she was wishing or praying. Looking down and closing her eyes with a small smile, Vanille wished on these stars. A small smile crossed the girls face as she hoped Fang was okay, she hoped everyone was okay in fact, and with that wish down, she looked up only to see the figure of a couple people ahead. Finally! Some form of life!
Racing off towards the people Vanille waved an arm around with a huge smile on her face, giggly as ever. “Hey!!” She called out as they seemed to be walking in a different direction, definitely two people she had never met before…one a girl with black hair and a blue outfit, the other a man with a huge sword! But, Vanille being so outgoing and bubbly, she’d make friends with just about anyone. “Wait up!” She squeaked as she finally caught up after her quick run towards the two. Stopped and placing her hands on her knees to catch her breath, the pigtailed girl looked up at the strangers with huffing breaths. “Do you by chance…know what this place is?” She said between breaths in her accented voice.Words: 658 Muse: Good Tagged: Lots of people? Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” Lightning laid on her side with her knees folded up close to her and off to the side. Her gunblade laid on her lap as one hand was loosely gripped on it the other under her cheek as a pillow. Why she had passed out so suddenly, who knows. All she knew was last time she was awake, she was resting against a stone wall around the Archylte Steppe. She may have been a soldier, but rest was required sometimes. She must’ve fallen asleep taking that rest, but somehow, she ended up in a place far away from Gran Pulse. No matter what though, Lightning was asleep and nothing seemed to be stressful, she was quiet as she slept as her grip on her gunblade loosened even more and it fell out of her hand and off of her lap onto the ground with a clank, waking her up suddenly.
Crystal blue eyes fluttered open as she reached for her gunblade and leapt to her feet looking around with shift eyes as she didn’t see much…in fact, this place didn’t look familiar one bit! It was dark and grey…Lightning was sure she would’ve remembered this place had she come across it before, but nothing came to mind as she slipped her gunblade in its pouch behind her legs before folding her arms across her chest and sighing. “Tch…this is just great.” She grumbled starting to walk off in a heavy soldier stride as she let her eyes shift from left to right, looking for anything that might help her out in figuring out where she was. Glancing upwards she saw shooting stars but thought nothing of it, just keeping her gaze now forward she walked quickly before hearing a squeak and giggle she could pinpoint anywhere.
Staring up ahead, Light caught sight of Vanille, a girl she hadn’t seen since before Cocoon was crystallized and everything. With wide eyes and motivation to move faster, Lightning’s arms moved to her side as she started running towards the girl, who seemed to have stopped at a small cluster of other people. None familiar to Light but…then again, this place was just weird all together. Picking up the pace into a damn near sprint, Lightning took in deep breaths as she ran towards Vanille before her pace slowed to a jog then finally a completely stop, ending up beside the girl who was gasping for breaths, unlike Lightning.
“Vanille.” Lightning said in a quiet tone with a small smile curled on her lips as she looked at Vanille before sighing a bit of relief. “Have you seen Fang? Or anyone else…” Lightning started before her eyes cut over to the other two and instantly, that colder side of her came back to her. Folding her arms across her chest her eyes glanced from Zack to Rinoa. “Who are you?” she said quietly as her face was sort of blank, her eyebrows furrowed a bit, a little frustrated with this new world she ended up on.Words: 590 Muse: Meh, it was okay. .:Materia Ninja:. Alright, who's been touching my Materia? Yuffie laid on the hard ground, not really unconsciousness, but not really awake either. The world around her was a mixture of white and gray, a world that would be quite unfamiliar to the young ninja. She had been out looking for more Materia, naturally, when a bright light had shone in her eyes. She had covered her eyes to try and block it out, and well, she ended up in this unkown world. Groaning, she finally came to her senses, and slowly sat up, quickly bringing her hand up to rest it against her forehead.
"Owww...Ow."
She raised her head slightly, and after letting the bluriness subside, she quickly turned her head around a couple of times, confusion quickly settling into her eyes, as she stood up, and started to turn around in circles. This world wasn't hers. It was nowhere near hers. There were no desert-like plains, no dismal buildings, no ShinRa brands!
"Hey! Where am I? This isn't Edge! Or Wutai! Or even Gaia! What is this place! Hey! Anybody!"
She stopped yelling for a moment, to try and orient herself a bit. She obviously had no recollection as to how she had gotten here in the first place, but it was evident that she didn't like not knowing. She turned around in circles a bit more, until she caught the sight of two figures off into the distance. She immediately ran as fast as she could, and halted in front of them. One was a young woman, who had short brown hair, and the other was a young man. Both of them seemed to be older than the young ninja but she didn't mind.

~HighWind Nightmare~“Thats your future right there, all you've gotta do is survive.” Fang opened her eyes and groaned before sitting up. Blinking, she shook her head and got to her feet, hand clasped to her lance. Glancing down at it, Fang furrowed her brow and scowled a bit. Where was she? Last thing she had known...she had been fighting a behemoth on the Steppes. Then...what had happened? Oh yes, the bright flashing light, and then she had woken up here. A bit unsteady on her feet for the first few seconds, Fang quickly got in control and looked around. So much white and grey...why was she here? Glancing down at her inactive brand, Fang wondered if somehow this was connected to to the fal'cie. But the only fal'cie left were Pulse fal'cie, why would they drag her to somewhere she didn't know?
“Argg.” With that Fang caused the lances blades to fold and slipped it behind her back. Best to get moving and try to figure out where she was. Confidently she stepped out, going to find whatever or whoever had brought her here and demand an explanation. Screw being nice. She had been enjoying her time on Gran Pulse alive and without a focus and then she had gotten dragged into a world full of white and grey with nothing else, all alone...she wasn't in the best of moods. Some might freak out that they were here, but Fang took it in stride. Having been put through some very odd things in her lifetime, this was just another step, another oddity that she would get past and get back to Gran Pulse. That was where she belonged, that was where she was going to stay.
At least she had her lance. Walking with a swagger, Fang let her arms swing and made her way across the white. It seemed to go on forever, did it ever end? No matter, she was going to find a way back to her own homeworld. The silence was eerie. Usually silence would just put her at ease, she could enjoy it. But this silence...it made her feel on edge, like something bad was going to appear right in front of her and try to kill her. “Bring it on, I'll bring you hell.” But that didn't stop that feeling she had, like there was something more to this room. With a look around her, Fang scowled again.
Suddenly a voice spoke out in a high pitched manner. Quickly glancing around, Fang followed the voice. In the distance she saw three figures. She might have just avoided them, but the girl had asked if the others knew where they were. Fang wasn't passing up the chance to see if anyone did know. It didn't matter in the end really, because either way she was going to find out who had brought her here and find a way back home. When she had strode closer Fang glanced at the two young girls and the young man standing there. All younger then her by looks, and she was the same height as the man.
“Anyone have any idea where we are?” Fang crossed her arms and looked at who she was with. The two girls didn't look all that powerful, but she had found out before in her life not to judge a book by its cover. At least the man looked calmer. As the four stood in a little group Fang stayed where she was and glanced up at the sky. Seeing the stars Fang relaxed and watched them for a moment. Like she had told Angeal that one time, she loved the stars. It was something that remained the same even on different worlds, different times...something remained the same... Adorkable Cutie ”Super-Duper-Mega-Bummer!!” Selphie walked around Cocoon, her arms swinging and humming happily. Sonuske, the cadot was with her and they were getting something to eat. Before they could get there however, suddenly everything stopped. Literally, stopped. Selphie gasped as she looked around and saw everyone frozen. “Sonuske!” She shouted and ran up to him, grabbing his arm and trying to shake him. He didn't move. Suddenly a laugh was heard behind her. Turning around Selphie gasped again. There Ultimecia stood cackling at her. Turning back to Sonuske, Selphie tried to shake his arm again. “Sonuuuske we have to gooooo!!” Then the witch was right there, reaching for her with her claws. “Noooooooo!”
Selphie's eyes jerked open and she sat up on reflexes, breathing hard. Hands were clenched into fists as she looked around for Sonuske or the witch. Nothing but white and grey. Had it all been a dream? Heartbeat started to return to normal as she sat there gasping. Finally she got calmed down enough to look around her. Dream was forgotten as she realized where she was. A place filled with white and grey...was there anything here? Was it another world? “Noooooo!” She squeaked and with a twist she was now kneeling and her hand hit something when she did. Glancing down, she saw her nunchaku underneath her hand. At least she had that, but picking it up, Selphie jumped to her feet and flailed her arms. “Not again!! I don't wanna be in a new place! I wanna go back home!”
Without thinking about what way she should go or anything like that Selphie took off running. Searching for something, for someone, anyone, anything! Cocoon had been a better place, at least it was normal looking, with water, a beach, a city, people. Here there was nothing, a stark room filled with nothing that seemed to go on forever. She had slowed to a walk after the initial burst of running and not finding anyone. Was she going to be suck here alone without anyone and die? She really wanted to see the gang again.
Mustering her determination, Selphie continued on. It was alright, she wasn't going to die, she could find her way back home by herself. If only she could find someone. That was when she saw a tall woman dressed in blue and black striding ahead of her. Selphie stopped dead and stood there staring after her. A human being!! Someone she could talk too! With a squeak Selphie ran after her, “WAAAIIITT!” But the woman was focused on walking, and suddenly Selphie realized why. A ways away there were three other people. Two girls and a guy...he looked...so...familiar...SQUALL!!
With new zeal Selphie ran toward the figures, overjoyed at finding other people, and Squall was one of them. “Squaaaaaaaalll!!!!!!” She shouted as she got finally got close and fully launched herself to hug him. Someone she knew! Someone from home! Clinging to him, she hugged him before dropping back to her feet and jumping up and down excitedly. “Your here, I'm not alone!” One thing Selphie hated was thinking she was alone, but now that she had found Squall and the other people she didn't have to run around thinking she was alone in the place.

the - DEDICATED - turk - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Elena was confused… Very confused.
Her day had started off normally, and then she had been sent on a solo mission. No big deal, and nothing out of the norm at all. That was, until she had gotten to the mission site. There had been nothing wrong at the mission site, but yet, after the mission being underway for almost half an hour, something strange had happened. Elena couldn’t place exactly what it had been that was ‘strange’, other than feeling something like a pull at her entire being. It had only taken so much as the length of time to blink, and she was pulled away from Gaia. Although, at first she didn’t realised this.
At the moment, she found herself lying on the ground of a very unfamiliar place. However, it took her a few moments to completely notice that she wasn’t on Gaia anymore. Groaning slightly, she sat up and rubbed the back of her head. It was in that moment that her eyes blinked open and then went wide as she realised that she didn’t know this place.
“What…?” She blinked and looked around at her surroundings. This…wasn’t anywhere that she recognised. This wasn’t a place on Gaia. “Where in the hell…” she trailed off as she finally stood up off the ground, brushing the dirt off the back of her suit and then rubbing her hands together. Frowning, she crossed her arms over her chest as she looked around again. What the hell is this place? she wondered. And how the hell did I get here? Her dark brown eyes raised up to the sky to see shooting stars falling down onto the world around her as well. Her confusion was growing with every passing second now. She didn’t know where she was, and what the hell she was doing here, never mind how she had gotten there in the first place.
People came into Elena’s line of sight then. It took her a moment, but even from this distance one of them, a man, she could tell right away was one of three people that she knew of. She’d only ever known of three people that wielded a Buster Sword, and she felt a sense of relief flow through her, silently thankful that there was someone else from her world here. Although, it was questionable whether or not she would be welcome in their presence, since all three had problems with ShinRa. However, it was worth a try. She started to make her way over, walking quickly, but not rushing too fast. She felt awkward approaching… It didn’t matter which of the three it turned out to be, she still felt like she shouldn’t be there. As she got closer, Elena recognised the wielder of the Buster Sword to be Zack, and she sighed a little in relief. He was probably the best of the three for it to be, since he was probably the nicest.
“Zack Fair,” she spoke once close enough, loud enough to catch his attention. She spoke his full name, since she had never met him personally before, of course, since she had become a Turk after he had died, but by the suit she was wearing it was clear what she was. She just hoped that he wasn’t still holding a grudge towards ShinRa otherwise it was pointless of her to approach him, but she wouldn’t blame him if he did. “What… Do you know what is going on here?” she asked a little hesitantly, although she managed to hide the nervousness and her unsure tone at least mostly. Elena cast another glance around, and up at the sky again where there were more shooting stars falling. What are we all doing here?
