Appearance Maiah has brown eyes and long brown hair. Her hair looks like it reaches to about the end of her spine and is straight. Up front, her bangs are layered. Her eyes seem to be more pulled back at the sides, giving them a slightly more hardened maybe even exotic look. Like the other Turks, she wears the black uniform symbolic of the Turks. Nothing special is prominent about her outfit. It’s neat and worn proper. Her shoes, she keeps rather clean and free of scratches as well having them polished nearly every day before and after a mission.
Height wise, Maiah is only five feet and eight inches, pretty tall for a lady. Weight wise, she appears to weigh maybe no more than 119 pounds. Her figure is feminine despite the muscle she has under the uniform.
On her hands, when getting ready for a fight, she wears black leather biker gloves. These gloves expose her fingers from the edge of her knuckles to the very finger tips. Being mainly a physical fighter with no weapons but her fists and legs, Maiah is quite fit. She’s well toned and very flexible, able to perform twists in the air to empower her strikes.
Personality:
Maiah is used to the professional life of being a mercenary and it was only fitting it helped her swiftly adjust to the life of a Turk. She has quite a business-like attitude when it comes to being on the job. However, she’s not a stuck up broad. She’s far from it, in fact. Where one would expect her to be all uppity and proper, she really isn’t. Where she retains upholding herself as a lady, she isn’t entirely girlie.
She speaks in a pattern where it makes her seem like “one of the guys“. It’s because of that, that she is able to hang around the male members of the group and get along well with them. However, she’s not entirely what you’d call a tomboy seeing as she still retains dominant feminine qualities over masculine. If there’s anything she despises the most, it’s when a man acts overly courteous to her or the female members of the group. It’s like implying they’re more fragile than the men and being rather tough for a lady, she gets insulted seeing it because she knows she‘s good enough to be as tough as a guy. Martial Arts (Male) does it all too often to the point where she can’t stand him sometimes.
On a mission, where everything is business, Maiah is very clean with her efficiency ensuring she gets the job done and done right. She even goes as far as ensuring her attacks and strikes are precise.
She’s not as hyper or upbeat and thrill seeking as Shotgun but she is quite sociable despite her business-like attitude when it comes to work. In general, she knows when to be serious and when she can relax. However, she’s no slouch and where she is energetic, she’s nothing child-like compared to how Shotgun is. Is a good person to ask for advice when it comes to men simply because she hangs around them more so than she does her fellow women. She just relates to guys far better than girls.
Is sure to pummel someone if they insult her or the type to bop someone over the head if they're acting foolish.
History:
Childhood wasn't a bad thing for Maiah. Having been born in Icicle Inn, she had adapted to a life where it was constantly snowing. Due to the fact the population was low in such a secluded area, Maiah pretty much had few friends as a kid. Having very good parents but strict, Maiah learned at a young age to follow the rules.
It had been her father that taught her how to fight. Ever since then, she had an affinity for the martial arts. It was a more fun pass time than throwing snowballs at the other kids or building a snowman or even ice cream. That and it came in handy when defending one's self. Her interest in fighting had eventually lead to her joining the military life.
Mercenary life was typical for Maiah. She had been so skilled in fighting that she did it as a profession where she would rather be paid than participate battles voluntarily. Due to past interactions with clients, Maiah has developed a keen eye for business and knew how to make a deal whenever the idea presented itself to her. Her clients and past comrades having been mostly male, Maiah had developed a speech pattern very much like any typical guy. It’s because of that, that she relates better with men than she does her fellow women.
Maiah once was a mercenary and thus learned to adjust to Turk life quite easily. Her recruitment into the Turks hadn’t been no easy deal. It was due to her courage in saving a few Turks from Fuhito. How she managed it was driving in swiftly with a truck, having the two Turks enter it, and taking off at full speed ahead! It was because of her bravery that she was recruited as a Turk.
Having followed orders her entire life, Maiah adjust rather quickly. She since then accompanied her fellow Turks in the battle against AVALANCHE and helped put an end to the more dangerous group it had been in the time before Barret took over. She has also helped accompany fellow Turks in finding and defeating Jade WEAPON. When it comes to Meteor and the Advent Children incident, Maiah had ceased life as a Turk for a quiet period in her life. Realizing the normal life is too normal, Maiahi plans on returning to the Turks one day.
Concerning the Fal’cie and L’cie, Maiah will fight them if they pose a threat to the Planet and her fellow Turks.
Abilities:
1. Martial Arts: Where this is her alias, Maiah is exceptionally skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Her fists and her legs and feet are a formidable weapon. Her enemies find this the hard way. Where she is much more durable than a lady who hasn’t turned her body into a fighting weapon, she does eventually tire so she can’t really fight for all that long.
2. Finger Jab: When up close to a person that’s giving her lip, Maiah will strike either the side of their neck to with the side of her hand to make them fall unconscious or jab their throat to make them either cough or crush their windpipe so they die. Only performed on NPCs, never will be used in actual battle.
3. Tornado Kick: Leaping high into the air, Maiah will cause herself to twist rapidly five times in the air with one leg sticking out. This is useful when fighting enemies that have lunged at her all at once. Has the potential to send them flying back five to seven feet away from her. Can only do this once a battle because it makes her dizzy using it too often.
4. Ravage: A combo attack that Maiah can perform. Starting out, she will punch her fists at the opponent starting with her left or her right in quick jabs. Despite whether or not she hit the enemy with the first two attempted strikes, she will jump into the air and aim a roundhouse kick at her opponent. Since she twists in the air before she performs her kick, one can dodge it. Can do this three times before needing a cool down of two posts.
Cover: Where this is a materia type of ability, it’s more so physical than magic based. What Maiah does with this is when an ally near her is in immediate danger of an attack, she will rush to their aid and either push them out of the way of danger (has potential to miss her ally if they move away when she goes to do this) or take the attack for them. Can do this as many times as her body would allow. Bullets, she can only do this once for granted if she‘s not killed in the process of doing so, magic at least as much that she could endure and physical as much as she can endure.

Magic: None, is more so a physical fighter than anything else.
Strengths: Hand to hand combat is her forte. Anyone challenging her to a physical fight will find themselves facing a formidable opponent. Not really a strength but can be useful when it comes to advice concerning men because she knows how they act.
Weaknesses: She doesn’t fight with weapons and only her fists and legs thus making her vulnerable to long ranged weapons such as a gun. Ice cream.
