Anavel Gato, The self-proclaimed Handsome Beast of the Turk stood outside the building of his employment. The Shinra Headquarters. The boy had known that he would find his way back to this place. He had taken a break to get his head together, but always knew that being a Turk was his calling. He ran his hand through his curly, golden hair, smiling. A new day and a new return. He fixed his tie properly and stepped forward to enter the building.
As he enter the smile on his face did not fade. If anything, it grew more wide. The smell, the look, it was just as he remembered. "Anne! Anne!" Anavel looked to see that the receptionist was speaking to him. Becca! Honestly, Anavel could tell you the name of every employee in this building; first and last name. He was just that friendly. "Heeeeey! Becky! Still looking as beautiful ever!" He said, cheerfully, "Glad to see that your, like, still here." He gave her playful wink and a wave as he walked past. If only he had such confidence with the person he was crushing on. As he came to the elevator, Anavel let out a sigh. "Out of order... So things never change," He said to himself, "No sense in crying. To the stairs!" He dropped his arms to his side and started to march for the stairs. It was a great thing that the boy was in great shape since he would have plenty stairs to climb. Once he got to the 45th floor, Anavel posted up on a wall to rest. There were sixty plus floors and for some reason the elevator was never fixed! It did not make sense! "What are you doing man?"The elevator's out of order so i'm walking the stairs. Just taking a short break. I will not be defeat--""The elevator isn't broken kid. Someone just forgot to remove the sign. Hahaha."... Anavel did not say a word. He just watch the man walk away, not letting his smile fade from his face still. Anavel dragged his body to the elevator, hitting the button for the 64th floor. The recreational area was his favorite place to be in the building. He have to stop here before stopping to see the big boss man and basically ask for his job back. I wonder if the gang even missed me or if the boss would give me my job back."[/blockquote]

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Quiet footsteps sounded as Cissnei made her way down the hallway. Having been doing a lot of that to get in contact with people. With the Turks still in a bit of chaos with Reno's being a l'cie now, it was hard to get any peace and quiet. It was something she was used to however, and thus found herself once again holding onto some files that she was transferring from her desk to Tseng's. Getting that done, Cissnei walked back out of his office and headed back to the elevator.
Her mind turned back to Reno. He was a l'cie. Plain clear and simple. What would that mean? He had told her a few thing, but all in all, she really didn't know exactly how this was going to end. Would he still be there? Would he still live? He had gone off when he had figured out what he was, leaving her a note and running from ShinRa. The only thing was that she had woken up in time to go cut him off from escaping without having to talk to them. That moment might have been the worst in her life. He had promised to always be there, and then he had left. It had cut a huge hole in her heart, froze it over. Somehow she had made it through though, and with the help of her fellow Turks, they had tracked Reno down and convinced him to come back, no matter what he was.
While walking her crimson eyes were drawn down to her left hand. Honestly, Cissnei had never thought she'd ever get engaged or married or anything like that. Yet the ring that looked back at her reminded her of the fact that she was indeed engaged. When he had asked her to date him Cissnei had been elated, but...never had she thought it would lead this far. Yes, dating usually led to becoming engaged and all that, but still, being a Turk, Cissnei was used to the whole 'no family ties' thing. Relationships were new to her, at least in that way. Being the motherly one of the Turks, Cissnei had a compassionate heart and found it easy to like people, but this was a bit out of her league.
Yet she hadn't ever been happier then the moment Reno had asked her to be his wife. Stuff like that didn't happen every day, and he had been so sweet. Cissnei hadn't ever felt the way she had at that moment. Reno Sinclair wanted to marry her. She still couldn't believe it was true, yet what about his becoming a l'cie? How much time would they have together? It was a sad thought, but Cissnei wouldn't allow that to get her down. If she only had a few days with him she would be happy with that. Reno was one of a kind, someone she wished she could spend the rest of her life with...if only he wasn't a l'cie...
It was almost to much to think about and keep a sane mind, so Cissnei decided to try and drop the subject out of her head. Yet when she glanced at her left hand again Cissnei felt a bit of a glow well up. It made her content, almost like she was truly part of the family once again. It made her feel less alone, something she had always struggled with. That feeling of being alone. But it was alright, because she was back to being a Turk from the 'real world.' The Turks were like her family, the only family she could remember.
Rounding the corner, Cissnei saw someone walk into the elevator. Picking up her pace, Cissnei jogged to the elevator and reached it just as it started to close. Slipping inside, Cissnei blinked and checked the number that was pushed in. Reaching for the button, Cissnei realized it was already pushed in. The recreational room. It was where she was going to look for Reno to talk to him. Suddenly realizing she was being rude, Cissnei glanced up to nod a hello to he person riding the elevator with her when she realized who it was. “Nunchaku?!” A look of shock registered across her face before she remembered the rumors and that she had left him a message. “Your back!” Turning, Cissnei went to hug him. If she could get Rude to hug her everyone else should be easy as pie. Hugging him, Cissnei smiled and then drew back to look up at him. “Wow you haven't changed a bit.” Words: 905 Muse: good! Tagged: Nunchaku! <3 Notes: so Reno is a l'cie at this point, but he came back to ShinRa after running off, and Cissy/Reno are engaged lol AHHH SO CONFUSING! *Runs around in circles*

Anavel's eyes were on the floor of the elevator as he was trying to think of what he was going to say to Minster Rufus. He had walked out on the Turks to clear his mind, to do what was best for him. That was not like Anavel at all since he did not have a selfish bone in his body. Now here he was on this elevator in the very building he had walked away from. Honestly, he could not blame the other Turks if they did not accept him back. Cissnei's message spoke otherwise. It seemed that she wanted him back at least.
She said that most of the other Turks had left, but were now returning. Maybe it would not be that bad at all. Whatever it would turn out to be, Anavel would keep his cheerful composure. As the elevator doors were getting ready to close some raced in. That suit! That hair! That face! CISSNEI!!! Anavel slightly turned to see that the woman was lost in thought. He wanted to scream, but he figured that would be too much of a shock and that she must have been thinking about something important if she did not notice him. The grin upon his face grew more wide as he tried to keep his happiness contained within him for the moment.
Looking forward, he hummed a little tune to himself, waiting for her to notice who he was. Finally, she had notice the blond. "Yes, yes, yes!" He emotions were made very clear with his arm motions. He was happy. He should have known the first Turk he was going to run into would have been the 'Momma.' Of course Anavel welcomed the hug by returning the embrace, spinning around. "I'm back! You can't get rid of the Turk's Handsome Beast!" He said cheerfully, "Look at you! Still as beautiful ever. How you been Mommy Turk?"
The words she spoke next was like a knife to the heart. He turned around, lowering his head to the elevator's floors. It was not his fault that he did not look manly! Great! If Cissnei did not think he had changed a bit then the other would think the same. He still had that boy appearance. He let out a sigh and decided to take it as she meant his personality had not changed a bit. Once the doors opened Anavel held his hand out allowing Cissnei to walk out first.
Stepping out onto the floor, Anavel looked around at the area. It was the same as him, nothing had changed a bit. He took her hands, walking backwards, to lead her deeper into the Recreational Area. "Like, you alright Cissy?" He asked, smiling, "Seemed like you had a lot on your mind." Maybe it was something that he could help with. Knowning Anavel, whatever Cissnei would say he would have a positive answer to or he try to feed her candy, a lot of candy. There was nothing that candy could not fix.

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Cissnei couldn't believe she hadn't noticed who it was sooner. With a sigh she realized she must have been thinking a lot harder about Reno then she had thought she was. Obviously she wasn't able to get her mind off what had all happened. On top of that, being engaged was blowing her mind a little bit at a time. Having grown up in ShinRa practically, she had resigned her life to never being able to be engaged or married. It wasn't something most Turks had, a real family, it just made problems, as then you would start worrying more and more. And yet...the Turks were her family, so maybe this wouldn't be a problem. But...she couldn't imagine her life as a married woman. Somehow it didn't seem like it would ever happen, almost like she was dreaming again. It seemed like she was dreaming a lot these days...
The last few weeks she had been back had been a roller coaster ride, and now it was making her exhausted. First the missions with her being back, hitting the ground running as President Rufus had told her. That hadn't been a problem, having been a Turk her entire life she was used to the running, the missions, the fighting. But with Reno asking her to date him, and then him being turned into a l'cie, him leaving, the pain and heartbreak of knowing the person she cared about most had left her, tracking him down, having the President try to kill him again, it was almost too much for the petite looking Turk could handle. But her determination had kicked in and wasn't allowing her to give up, that along with her hope that the future, however grim it might look now, wouldn't stay that way forever.
But that was all pushed aside when Nunchaku answered her. A gentle smile lifted onto her lips, making her eyes sparkle as well when he got excited about something. Maybe seeing her? Nunchaku might be the Turk that had been the most like a younger brother to her, as he was two years her junior. You couldn't help but love the excitement he had always shown, and the affection it seemed so easy for him to pour out to his fellow Turks. She was even spun around as she was basically lifted off the floor and twirled. With a little gasp Cissnei held onto him and was finally set back down onto her own feet. It seemed everyone could lift her up and twirl her around, oh the joys of being tiny. Yet she couldn't help but smile as she stepped back and looked up at him.
'Turks handsome beast?' Of course Nunchaku was good looking, but maybe it was the fact that she had thought of him as a little brother that she never thought of him as a beast. Yet Cissnei was never the type to be mean or tease someone unnecessarily, so she crossed her arms and nodded, “Your right, its hard to get rid of us Turks.” Always the charmer, shaking her head, Cissnei raised her eyebrow when he told her that she was as beautiful as ever. Of course...that was right before he called her Mommy Turk?! With a sigh Cissnei crossed her arms and gave him one of those looks. “Mommy Turk? I may be older then you Anavel Gato, but only by two years. Don't you forget that, call me Cissy okay?”
When the elevator opened up Cissnei walked out, looking around to see if Reno was there. Of course he wasn't, so she was going to have to look somewhere else for him. Nunchaku seemed to have the ability to know when something was alright as he asked her if she was alright. Was she alright? A bit run down, over thinking everything, but all in all she was doing alright. Especially when she thought of her engagement. Glancing over at Nunchaku, she rested a hand on his arm and hesitated briefly before walking on. “What makes you think something is wrong?” With a gentle little sigh, Cissnei glanced at him and attempted a smile, “I'm doing fine Nunchaku, nothing you should have to worry about on your first day back...” Words: 817 Muse: good Tagged: Nunchaku Notes: none

Just like old times! Cissnei was just so small and cute that Anavel could just place her in his front pocket and drag her everywhere with him. Of course he would never actually do that. He feared that she would kill him or hurt him very badly. She could be scary at times. It was actually why Anavel considered Cissnei the Mommy Turk. She was caring just as a mother was, but you never dared to cross her. She even said his full named like his mother did when he was in trouble. He wanted to chuckle at the similarities, but decided against it. Chuckling now would not get Cissnei to agree to the nickname, not at all.
"Awwwwwww, but it's SO cute and it, like, totally fits," He pouted, "I understand you don't like the nicky-name I spent HOURS on..." He puffed up his cheeks and gave her his signature puppy eyes. He also add his deep sigh at the end as the icing on the cake. If this did not work then there was no hope for Anavel. Having a baby face and being consider a little brother did have it perks. Sadly, that was going to get him nowhere with his crush. The smart thing would to listen to that books advice and just give up hope... Anavel could never do quit! He was the Turk's Handsome Beast!
Despite his... childish appearance Anavel was good at reading people. He actually felt a been insulted that she tried to pretend like nothing was bothering her. He rather her just say that it was none of his business and that he should leave her be. He could live with that and would wait until she opened up to him. What would make him think something was wrong? "You, like, didn't notice me at all for a while... Hello, gorgeous blond hair, pretty blue eyes, black suit... That makes me pretty noticeable," He nodded, "And that's a pretty sad smile. Your message asaid we were like family. I have to worry about you. It's what family do."
"Or maybe we both have entirely different definitions of 'alright.'" Anavel would not push the subject any farther. Whatever it was, it would soon get around to Anavel though. That was the way things worked in Turks. It was also safe to assume that she was looking for a certain person from the way she was looking around when they exited the elevator. He did not want to seem too nosy so he left it alone as well.
Suddenly, there seemed to be another Turk walking toward them. He was a bit off in the distance so Anavel could not see his face, but he could tell that suit anywhere. Is he... wearing some sort of mask? The guy quickly turned tail, literally, and fleed. Well, that was rude. Anavel wanted his hug from this person rather it was someone he knew or if it was a new Turk. Either way, he was going to get his warm embrace and introduce himself. "Heeeeeeeeeeeeey!" Anavel waved happily, "Where you going? It's me, Anavel!"

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Her resolve to be firm quickly flew out the window when Anavel used the cursed puppy eyes on her. For a few moments she just stared at him, before squeezing her eyes closed and lifting her hands up for double protection from them. Blast the puppy eyes. Why did they have to be her weakness? And the sigh, it was almost to much for her. Peeking through her hands to see if he had stopped, she was met with the cutest, saddest face she could remember seeing in a long time. Of course he was going to make her feel guilty about not wanting to be called Mommy Turk. Of COURSE he was. Where was that determination she was known for? Obviously it escaped whenever puppy eyes were added into the equation. “I...Anavel...not the puppy eyes.” Trying to shift her gaze away didn't work either, because she had to keep looking back to see if he had quit. No such luck. “No, I refuse to allow you to call me Mo-...oh alright fine, sometimes you can call me Mommy Turk, but I catch you using it when one of our superiors are around and even puppy eyes wont be able to save you.”
His reasons for thinking something was wrong made the smile come back to her face. Really though, it was sweet that he had actually noticed something was up. Most people couldn't read her when something was troubling her, just writing it off as her quiet girl nature popping up again. The stereotype she had been put in. Still, she was one of the quietest Turks, although Rude and Tseng had her beat. Of course when he put it that way it seemed odd that she had actually missed him, but with all that was swirling around in her mind it was a miracle she noticed him at all. All this was making her brood and slip back further into that stereotype she had been placed in. It was a good thing there were people like Reno, Rod and now Anavel around to bring her out of that.
Sad smile? If she were smiling at all wasn't that a good thing? He read her like a book sometimes. But she had to agree with his statement about them being a family and having to worry about each other. “You have a point. I'm glad I have you guys as family, the only family I've ever known.” With a shrug she turned back to look at him after not finding Reno. “Hey, I'll be ok, you just keep being yourself and making me smile alright? I'll...tell you sometime, so don't worry about it for now.”
When Anavel ran off, Cissnei turned around to see where he was running to. It almost made her laugh, until she saw who he was running towards. Raze. Though she had been busy running around trying to find Reno, she remembered overhearing something about Raze. Something....something...but she couldn't remember what it was. And yet she had gone on guard again. Crossing her arms, Cissnei followed Anavel over to where Raze was leaning against the wall. With a nod, Cissnei looked up to meet the mans eyes. Well...the wolf mans eyes. Something...something...
“Raze.” She said in greeting, reverting back to her quiet nature. She didn't, after all, know Raze all that well. Besides he was always brooding, most of the time Cissnei didn't know what to say to him beyond the obvious greeting. Mind returned to Reno as Anavel went to greet him in his affectionate way. Was he on a mission? Slipping her hand in her pocket Cissnei debated on if she should call him. Maybe she should to tell him Anavel was back. Reno had taken her out to ice cream on her first day back, maybe she could do the same for Anavel, a little 'welcome home' greeting. She should invite the whole gang and make it something big for him, he would like that. Words: 780 Muse: good Tagged: Anavel and Raze Notes: none

Oh yeah! Anavel still had it. Those puppys eyes of his allowed him to get away with almost anything. No one wanted to be the person who was a jerk to the extremely nice guy. "Yes ma'am! No calling you by your nicky while surperiors are around!" He saluted, "Like, that shouldn't be too hard for me to do." The only superiors were Rufus and Tseng, right? Anavel did truly count Reno since he was laid-back and cool. Unfortunately, Rufus and Tseng were two that would never fall for his puppy eyes...Not a lot of men did.
Family? Anavel had two of those. The Turks and his actual family. Honestly, he would rather spend time with his Turk family. Though he was sure most of them thought he was a spoiled kid, it was nice to have people that actually liked you or pretend to like you. "Making people smile is what I live for," He smiled, "Anavel always ready to cheer someone up, right?" That is all he was good for. No one ever told him anything, he always find out through word of mouth. It killed him to think about it, but he was the black sheep of this family.
His personality did not fit and at times it felt like he was trying force himself to fit into this puzzel. But this was his first day back. These moments were suppose to be happy. "like, were is everyone? I still have plenty of hugs to give out!" He spun around in a complete circle nearly losing his balance when he stopped. Well, they had found Raze so that was one Turk out of many. What... What was wrong with his head? At first Anavel thought that it might be some sort of mask, but as he drew closer he realize that it was a dog's head... On a man's body....
Maybe some things do change...
Anavel had stopped a few feet in front of Raze, tilting to head to the side slightly. The smile that was usually plastered across his face was substituted for a puzzled look. This was a human with a dog head! He turned to Cissnei for some sort of answer, but she seemed to be perfectly okay with this. He turned his attention back to Raze and to continued to stare, trying to come up for some reasonable answer for this... Experiment! That was the only answer Anavel could come up with... "My apologies. Yeah, i'm Anavel," He said, smiling, "It's nice to meet you Raze!" Anavel was a little hesitant at first, but finally leaped out to give Raze a hug. He was a Turk so that meant he was family. "Everything's GREAT here!" He said, "Just wondering where the other Turks are. I would love to get reacquainted with them."

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Cissnei smiled affectionately up at Nunchaku and then glanced away with a little shake of her head. Somehow she could just see him slipping up and calling her Mommy Turk to someone like Tseng. That would be awkward, but hey, what was she supposed to do? Puppy eyes were her weakness. It had progressed to the point where she couldn't ever say no to puppy eyes. It was the least she could do however, letting him call her that. After all, she had worried about him and the rest of the Turks since they had left ShinRa. She couldn't help it, and so that was the reason she would allow him to call her by that name. Still...had he really spent hours coming up with that?
When he said all he was good for was a laugh Cissnei's shoulders slumped. That wasn't true, she just hadn't wanted to get him down on his first day back. They should be celebrating, no dragging on he horrors of what had happened in the past few weeks. Maybe when they were out getting ice cream she could tell him all the bad things. Reno getting turned into a l'cie, him leaving, trying to find him, Rufus trying to execute him. It had been all basically to much for the petite Turk to take, but her stubbornness had kicked in and she had gotten through that be sheer will and determination. “I'll make you a deal. You keep me smiling and I'll tell you about everything that happened. Alright?”
They were by Raze then. Cissnei saw the look that was sent towards her, but how was she supposed to explain about Raze with him standing right there? With a tiny little shrug, Cissnei focused her attention back on Raze. Something...there was that nagging feeling again. Like she should know something and yet didn't. She could figure it out later, maybe ask Tseng or Reno if they knew anything. But for now she could just relax and enjoy a moment without a mission. Standing there quietly, Cissnei didn't say anything while Nunchaku and Raze did the talking.
Watching Nunchaku greet Raze without holding back his excitement made Cissnei think she should be more like him. However, she would remain her own self, instead just standing back and watching Raze and Nunchaku talk to each other. Raze greeted her back in a voice that wasn't normal. Eyes narrowed a bit as she turned her head to look at him again, a double take. Why did he sound so strained? And he wouldn't meet her eyes. Raising a brow Cissnei looked at him closely. Something...something...but what? “Raze. Are you alright?” Something...
He asked if everything was alright with them and Anavel went on about the Turks. Cissnei was quieter with her answer, “I'm alright, looking for Reno, have you seen him?” That could wait, but Cissnei was still worried about him. Would he leave once again without saying goodbye? So many questions filtered through her brain, but they receded somewhat when she thought of the fact that they were engaged now. He wouldn't leave, he couldn't leave, she wouldn't let him.

Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early As soon as things started to settle down, they spiked back up again, and not talking about the whole L’Cie business, which was a subject Reno didn’t really like talking about, but the fact that a lot of Turks were returning these days. Returning to ShinRa and taking back their jobs as fellow Turk members, not that it bothered Reno all that much, but still it was a lot to take in, alongside the l’cie and the now recent engagement. There was just so much to let sink in these past few days! Anyways, Walking down the fall with his hands in his pockets and a tune in his head, Reno whistled to the tune of the song ‘sharp dressed man’, a song he considered to be his theme song, but it kept him happy and distracted for now as he strolled down the hall in search of Cissnei or Rude. There were a few people he needed to talk to about his and Cissnei’s wedding, things needed to be planned because he wanted it all to happen before his brand reached its limit, which meant he didn’t have any time to waste.
Reno rounded a corner and his whistling faded as he heard voices, one he could pick out easily. Cissnei, which made him smile, and as he looked down the hall he saw another familiar face, one of the returning Turks. Anavel was his name, or even some people called him Annie. Okay so this whole ‘Turks coming back thing’ was fantastic! So long as Anavel wasn’t going to punch Reno like Rod had (not that Rod and Reno got along that well) then all was great right? Picking up his pace again Reno walked up to the two chatting Turks. “Cissnei! I was just lookin’ for ya.” He said beaming a smile before his eyes shifted to Anavel. “Long time no see Annie.” Reno smirked a bit as he grinned at the blond.
Unusually happy today, Reno stood there with his hands in his pockets as his grin did somewhat fade a bit. “I thought you’d like to know that, Raze walked out on the Turks…he’s gone.” He said with a shrug, Reno didn’t know the whole story, it was just something he had heard while walking in the hallway, figured he’d pass on the message himself rather than people not know where the guy went. “No idea why though…” He shrugged again before he dropped the subject of Turks leaving, knowing he was near that point only recently when he tried to leave ShinRa to figure out his focus and what to do with it, that was where he dropped the subject, when that came to mind. “So Anavel, returning back to the crazies eh? It’s glad to have ya back man.” He said patting Nunchaku on the shoulder and then looking at Cissnei, a wide grin as ever whenever he looked at her. His bride-to-be, his future wife, Cissnei Sinclair…every title sounded great to him.
Looking at Cissnei, Reno felt happy, warm on the inside, and all his worries had washed away just like that. Of course he always felt happy and giddy around Cissnei, always, she always knew how to make him smile, even if she wasn’t doing much of anything. “So Cissnei…how goes the planning? Any ideas yet?” He said walking over to her and placing and arm around her waist looking down at her. “That reminds me…since I looked back through some files and excepted Two guns, Nunchaku, and a few others back…I need to speak with you.” He said looking at Anavel with a serious look on his face as if it were ‘business’ related. Reno was second in command so that wasn’t unnatural or anything, but truth was, it had nothing to do with any missions or anything. He was mentally planning a little bit of his and Cissnei’s wedding, he had to contribute a little bit at least, so picking out his groomsmen was a start right? Good enough. Of course Rude was the best man, the best friend, best man, it all fit, but Reno wanted to ask Anavel to be one of those 3 guys who would stand with him up front while waiting for his bride-to-be to walk the isle. Everything that happened? So it was safe to assume that it was much more than one thing. His eyes narrowed for a moment as he looked at her. He shrugged slightly, figuring it would not be best not to pick at the subject since it was his first day back. He simply smile and nodded. "Like, add some cookies into the mix and we have a deal." Sweets. You could never go wrong with feeding the boy sweets. You would think after so much sweets that his teeth would be rotten. But that was not the case, his teeth were perfect.
Anavel's eyes and smile grew wide as he saw Reno round the corner. Anavel knew that red hair and the way his outfit was never proper. Honestly, the way Reno wore the Turk's attire made Anavel upset. They were professionals! No one would tell them serious if there was a slacker among the ranks. Still, Reno was a pretty cool guy that you could count on... If only he fix his shirt and wear a tie. "Red! RED!"
Honestly, all this stuff surrounding Raze did not matter to Anavel. He had met Cissnei and Reno all in one day. That was enough to keep him happy for a while. But did Reno really think that a simple pat on the shoulder would suffice? Wrong! Anavel was not going to be satisfied until he had got a proper hug. With a slight grin, Anavel opened his arms and pulled Reno into a hug... More like a big squeeze. "Like, it's been forever and you'd thought I would settle for a pat on the shoulder?"
Okay, now Anavel was putting the puzzle together. Reno and Cissnei was an item! The arm around her waist was a dead give-a-way! He let out a deep sigh and turned away from the two. What do these guys have that I don't have!? I'm handsome, i'm nice, I SMELL great! It can't be my hair... Oh man, it's my hair. He turned back around with a smile placed on his face. "Speak with me? Awesome! Like, am I being assigned a mission already!?" He said, fistpumping, "First day back and i'm already being thrown into the action. YES!!"
Then something registered in the boy's head. Planning? What could... Well, the first idea that came to mind, since he knew the two were a couple, was that Cissnei was pregnant. Anavel leaned forward a bit to examine Cissnei. She definitely was not any bigger than she was before. She had to been in the very early stages of pregnancy... It never crossed his mind that Reno was reffering to marriage. It made perfect sense to Anavel too. Cissnei was worried about something so it had to be the pregnancy!
"She's pregnant! How far along are you, Cissy? Ow! Ow! Ow! Can I babysit? I promise I won't use the baby to pick up chicks... all the time."

...Forgotten Turk..."Wings symbolize freedom for those who have none." Really Cissnei couldn't be more overjoyed that her fellow Turks were returning. Yet it was extra special that it was Annie. Had it been martial arts (Male) or Knife Cissnei wouldn't be so happy. It wasn't as if they didn't mean anything, but she hadn't been as close to them as she had been to Nunchaku. Having never been able to remember her own family, Cissnei improvised with her fellow Turks. Annie was her little brother. He might not have liked all the times she fussed over him, but there was no escaping her motherly side. Cookies? That made her shake her head, “I suppose I can scrounge up some cookies to add to the deal. Maybe even some candy.” If she remembered right he liked candy. She could be wrong though, since it had been years since they had last seen each other.
Cissnei almost asked him how his real family was doing but then a certain red head made his appearance. It was about time he showed up. They seemed to have problems finding each other when they were searching for each other. Like the time when Reno had been made a l'cie. They had been running through that warehouse for a long time searching for each other. No matter, he was here and her eyes lit up. Everything was easy, to smile, laugh, be happy, even talk more then normal when she was around Reno. The smile that had been on her face from talking with Annie only intensified, though she might get a little deaf with Annie's shouting.
Hearing the news made Cissnei shrug. She hadn't known Raze all that well, it wouldn't affect the Turks that much. Putting it out of her mind, she nodded a greeting. “Hi Reno.” With twinkling eyes Cissnei watched as Reno patted him on the shoulder and then Annie went in for a squeezing hug. So like Annie for you. His affection for the fellow Turks made her smile, it was so easy for him to show his affection, he didn't care who it was or who else was around. She really could learn something from that. It wasn't that hard for her though, being the 'mommy' turk of the bunch, she worried about them all and felt it was her responsibility to make sure each and every Turk was safe and sound.
At the mention of planning Cissnei's checks turned a lovely shade of pink. She had been going to tell Annie about being engaged to Reno, but this just served to quicken up his knowledge. She didn't doubt he'd put the pieces together, at least not with Reno putting his arm around her. Smiling up at him from an angle, Cissnei then proceeded to look at Annie. “I haven't really come up with anything. I suppose I'm going to have to go shoppin-...” Her thought process was completely dissolved when Annie next spoke. Mouth dropped open and eyes opened wide as his assumption, knees became almost watery feeling as she slumped against Reno and just stared.
Her?! Pregnant?! No! Hell no! How could he even think that?! Snapping her mouth shut for a second, her eyes continued to be large and shocked. “Annie!!” She suddenly gasped out, “How...how-...do I look pregnant to you??” At the thought of children Cissnei's face became pure white. She...she...they...she wasn't sure what she would do if she ever became pregnant, but the thought of it right now made her blanche and feel lightheaded. Hand tightened around Reno's arm, nails biting through though his suit would make it so he probably didn't feel anything. The shock. Just...the mention of that possibility made her want to drop over. Second in CommandLooks like today we're clockin' out early Reno had a grin on his face as he had rounded that corner, a tune in his head as his hands were in his pockets, his eyes closed for a fraction of a second before he had noticed Anavel and Cissnei down the hall, and then the yelling started. ‘Red’ was a nickname for Reno, and he took it fairly well, it never bothered him, in fact, he quite liked it compared to all the other possibilities he could have. Ginger, carrot top, they almost seemed endless. So he could only grin a bit more as he heard his ‘nickname’ called down the hall from Annie. As he made it over to the two, his eyes studied Anavel, same as always. Happy-go-lucky and full of energy as he was before…and probably talking about candy and what not before Reno got there. It was nice to have some familiar faces around here to talk with again, not that he minded it when it was down to basically 4 Turks, at least the work load would be a little lighter now.
With a huge grin on his face Reno had his eyes cut over to Cissnei before he was taken by surprise with a huge hug from Anavel. He should’ve seen that coming…but he didn’t. His eyes widened a bit as he was squeezed into a hug. With a cough Reno chuckled a bit. “It’s good ‘ta see ya too Annie.” He said before being released and straightening his not so straight clothes. Still sloppy as always but neater than being crumpled from a hug, and one from Annie to be exact. He’d never had a huge hug like that before…except for that one time Cissnei knocked him over with a hug…literally. That was powerful tackle hug, but the memories associated with that hug…weren’t exactly the best. Rubbing the back of his head, Reno was still smiling. “I guess I should’a expected that eh?”
With an arm around Cissnei’s waist, Reno’s smile had toned down a bit as the greeting he made was coming to an end and conversation was starting. Cissnei hadn’t thought of much yet, that was okay. They hadn’t even set a date for the wedding, so really they had all the time in the world to think about it, though…Reno was running on borrowed time at the moment. Looking away from Cissnei, Reno locked onto Nunchaku’s face and nodded to the side a tiny bit. “Um…it’s not exactly about work…but I’m sure you’ll get a mission soon?” he said with a shrug of his shoulders before looking back at Cissnei. “Well it’s a good think we’ve got time…but not too much time, it’s not like we got forever…clock’s a tickin.” He grinned before what Annie said next…made him turn all shades of pale.
Feeling Cissnei slump against him, Reno stood there like a statue, well okay not like a statue but his face was pale and his eyes a bit wide. His eyes glanced down towards Cissnei and towards her stomach, okay he knew he hadn’t laid one hand on her...there was no way she could be…THAT. Glancing upwards now Reno’s facial expression looked like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar…just…a bit guilty and freaked at the same time. He couldn’t even imagine himself a father! Let alone a husband quite yet! Now his head was spinning before Cissnei finally spoke up, leaving Reno to choke there by himself. As Cissnei was done speaking, Reno cleared his throat and continued to stand there. “Um…Anavel, I think ya got the wrong idea there…there are no, and I repeat NO babies on the way here…at least that I know of…” he said almost choking on his words…the thought of being a parent scared him a little…gave him shivers.
It was almost easy to see where Annie would get that idea. Planning, limited time, shopping for clothes…it sort of fit together right? But the assumption (one that nearly gave Reno a heart attack) was way, WAY off. “What we were referring to was, well, we’re gettin’ hitched.” He said tightening his loose noodle grip on Cissnei as his face regained its color instead of looking so pale. “That’s part of what I wanted to talk to ya about.” Might as well spill it here, why surprise Cissnei when she was bound to find out anyway? “I was hopin’ you would consider bein’ a groomsman for me Annie.” He said with a wide grin on his face, shaking that…baby talk out of his head and going onto different subjects.
