The slums of Midgar were busy yet again on a warm evening as many people flocked the streets. One man in particular stood out of place as moved down the busy street. Dressed in a blue coat and pants the man seemed to have an agenda of sorts as he followed another man amongst the crowd. The target was dead ahead and it was a man in his older years. He was dressed in jeans and a dirty t-shirt and was holding a package. SaS had been following him for awhile from the shadows and he finally had him cornered. Knock out target. Take package. His thoughts replayed these orders over and over again as he calmly stared down his prey. The dark ally made it hard for a normal person to see but for this man it was easy to see everything as if a light was on. His left eye could see it all even if it was covered by the black eye patch he wore at all times.
This job was easier than most he was given and considering the pay was very high SaS would have been a fool to turn it down. Brushing aside the bangs of his dark colored hair he stared down the man who looked at him panicked. He had been warned out being hunted by mercenaries but was still shocked SaS was the one that was hired. He was known well enough as a man who could get the job done. But rumors had spread that he was very vicious an violent to his prey and that he killed 1000 men. Such rumors were irrelevant to SaS and he preferred to finish a job with little to no blood shed. He was taught styles to destroy opponents of course but many factors lead to his policy of no killing, but those were for another time as he smiled at the man. " Hand it over." He said calmly to the panicked man. Thinking this would be easy he took a step until he heard a loud bang. In the mans hand was a gun smoke coming from the barrel.
SaS looked down and saw a wound in his stomach as he began to feel a wave of horrible pain. Coughing hysterically he fell to his knees as the man began to chuckle. The man began to walk past SaS quickly, but failed to notice SaS removing his eye patch. He stared the man down and saw a glowing aura of red around his arm. The man stopped in fear as he saw SaS's deformed eye and that pause was all SaS needed as he gathered energy in his hands and gave a swift uppercut to his jaw. The man was knocked onto his back and was out cold as SaS fell down to his knees again his clothes slowly becoming tinted in a crimson color from the gunshot wound.
" I really hate when this happens...." He grumbled to himself as he forced himself to stay conscious since he didn't expect any help anytime soon...or at all for that matter.

X A sweet scent filled the air, children laughed as they weaved their way through the crowd of adults. Tonight was warm and the warmth brought many people out to enjoy what the streets of Migar had to offer. One person in particular seemed to have quite a few more customers than she had thought she would. To be honest it was a little daunting for her but she kept a smile on her face and tried to tend to them as best she could.
“Miss could I buy this one?” “Miss Miss I was first!” “Wait your turn and don't push in! Sorry pretty lady, could I buy this flower.”
Night just smiled at the people before her, their voices confirming what her eyes could not. They were men, all of which seemed to be interested in her, but neither of them wanting to openly say it.
“Oh, this..is..for my mother.”
Night giggled “Maybe she would like this one better then?” She handed the young man a yellow rose. Had she been able to see him like any ordinary person might be able too, she would have noticed he blushed. Instead Night just smiled and moved on to the next customer until she had served them all and they had moved away. Most times she usually got genuine customers who were buying flowers but like this evening she sometimes got that kind too.
As the evening went on Night watched the shadows of people as they walked by, she often just watched at listened to what was going on around her, always off in her own world. However tonight she saw something she never had seen before, a shadow that had something else in it..something not so..human...
Her curiosity got the best of her and she began to follow this rather curious shadow. She was so transfixed by it that she didn't noticed that she had ended up in an ally way, let alone with another person. The lack of light didn't bother her either for with her vision it was hard to judge when day had come until it had fully sneaked up on you and the sun was out. It was the sad thing about Night...she couldn't see a sunset or a sunrise, couldn't experience what others took for granted everyday.
The shadow she followed had such a deep voice, it resonated all around her and she liked the tune it played in her sensitive ears. However all this was shattered and she had to brings her hands up to cover her ears as the ringing was so loud she fell to her knees. She had never been in such a small space when something like went off and she didn't know how to react. It was that strange shadow that caught her attention and made her focus more on what was going on. Shaking her head she heard the coughing but before she could move to see if she needed to help anyone the air completely changed and she just froze. It was like that big shadow she saw attached to that little one had just doubled in size, the whole ally way was nearly covered in him. The next thing she knew it was silent.
Pushing herself to her feet she tried to make her way to the three person shadow. When she came to kneel next to him she saw such an interesting thing. A crimson butterfly was rested over what seemed to be a gunshot wound. Night pressed her hands down over the wound, her snow white skin now tainted in blood, his blood. “Hold on...” her voice was small but it held power and soon all around them seemed to fade and it was as if they were somewhere else even though they had never moved.
A white light engulfed Night and she raised her head to the sky, her hands still placed on him wound. She chanted, almost sang in such a haunting tune that the bullet within the man began to be pulled out of him as if on a string. It raised up and shot itself within Night creating a new wound on her, his wound. All the blood that had split began to crawl back up his sides and into his wound as she healed his body to nit itself back together. As this was happening her own blood began to spill and she began to feel light headed, she didn't have much time to finish healing him, and this kind of injury would take so much out of her when she was done.
His body now fully healed and Night had moments left. She chanted again and this time the bullet came out of her and her own body began to heal, much faster than his. It was over quicker than one thought though it seemed an eternity. She looked down at the man, she couldn't see his face just a crimson butterfly. Holding the bullet in her hand for him she smiled “Better?....”
She fainted.

SaS's body was burning as if it were on fire and he had a pretty good feeling it was the bullet lodged in his chest. The hot metal burned up his body as he stared up into the night sky. Can't believe I got hit by a luck shot. He thought to himself unamused at the situation he got himself into. If this was the end he just wished he could have done something about his cursed bloodline. His left eye began to pulse as he felt a presence coming his way. Hesitant to act he remained still as the being walked up to him. He turned his head and his whole body froze as he caught a glance at the woman before him. Her skin was pure like snow and her long hair was a sight to see as he gently covered his eyes. He did not want her seeing his freaky eye when she was this pretty of a lady. As she knelt beside him he began to wonder what she was doing here. Realizing there was a gunshot that went off, SaS considered she was a witness and was here to check on him or something. He wanted to tell her he would be fine and get up but his body felt jolts of pain as he tried to move. Contemplating if he should force himself up despite the pain or stay still SaS stared at the young lady. Her eyes seemed odd to say the least. Perhaps she had a condition or something like that which lead to her dimly colored eyes.
He heard the woman speak and began to wonder what she was planning on doing. Although it wasn't like he was in position to deny help or say no to her since he was on the ground in pain. Something that put him at ease though was the tone of her voice, which had such confidence and power in it that SaS wanted to obey. Soon he felt the powers of light gather as she began to chant an odd tune. Soon he felt the pain leave his body he blinked and saw a wound in he chest. His eyes widened in shock as he lifted himself up. Why? Why did she do that? She barely knew him and yet she used such a spell on him. He was about to panic until he heard her chant again and slowly the bullet flew out of her. Such spells exist in this world??!
Picking himself up he heard the word 'Better' before she fainted. Rushing forward he caught her in his arms before she hit the ground. He was surprised she felt so light in his arms as he held her close. Why.... The word played through his mind. No one showed him such kindness before and this girl was a complete stranger. Her actions aside he needed to get her someplace safe. Remembering he got a room he lifted her up piggy back style on his back as he grabbed the package and his eye patch off the ground. He traveled down the alleyway and up the streets of Midgar.
Within minutes he reached the inn he was staying at and sighed as he stepped inside. The innkeeper gave him a look since he was carrying the girl but said nothing as SaS walked by. Walking up the stairs SaS felt like he was walking normally as he carried the girl to his room and walked inside. He made his way to the bed and let her down gently before placing the package on the bed. Reaching into his pocket grabbed his eyepatch and put it back on before removing his coat and shirt. They were still stained in blood even with the wound gone as SaS looked down to see it truly WAS gone. Looking back at the bed he began to wonder who this woman was, and why she saved him?

X A crimson butterfly played just out of sight. It danced around her eyes and she couldn't help but follow its movements with a slight smile on her lips. Vague memories flooded back through her mind. She had seen this butterfly before, but where was it. A gunshot rang out and the memories came rushing back. She saw a crimson butterfly hovering over a man's wound, his blood spilled around him. She remembered then how she healed him, how she saved his life, this strange man with three souls in him.
Coming too she began to slowly open her eyes. Her surroundings looked out of place as she though for sure she was meant to be in an ally way. Bringing her hand up to her head as she sat up she noticed that she was holding something, a bullet. She couldn't help but stare at the dark shape, there was little to no blood on it that she could feel and for a while there she was so entranced by it that she didn't noticed that she was covered in dry blood herself. Actually now that she paid more attention to what she felt she noticed a few things. First she was in a bed, second there was a whole in her dress where she had taken his wound and third... there he was.
She didn't really know what to say or do. It was all so new to her and she had never been in anyone else's room let alone a man's room, a perfect stranger who's life she just saved. “I'm...I'm sorry...” She tried to push herself out of the bed but when her feet touched the floor and she tired to stand her knees gave way. Making a face she tried not to look so exhausted like she feel, but no matter how hard she could have tried the girl really did look tried, and every part of her body did ache and the poor thing just longed for a bath...
“I'm sorry...I don't mean to be a burden...”

SaS began to wonder if he should bathe soon or just head to bed when he heard the girl begin to stir. Turning around he faced her in time to hear her apologize. He wasn't sure why she was apologizing considering she saved his life and he simply wished to return the favor and help her. Perhaps there was a custom SaS did not know of and that's why she was surprised. Watching her get out of bed SaS stepped toward her with a concerned look. " You must rest..."" He spoke softly as he made his way to her quickly. There was no way she was in any condition to stand up let alone leave the room. The expression of exhaustion on her face explained it all as SaS stared at her calmly.
When she spoke again SaS began to pout slightly at her words. She was no burden! Obviously it was he who was the burden considering she saved his life. His right eye examined her as he quickly tried to come up with something to say. " You...are no burden. I owe you my life, so at least wash up and rest until you regain your strength. Please!" He spoke calmly but a tone of urgency was in voice. There was no need for the woman to overexert herself and harm her body. He was next to her now as he knelt next to her a look of concern was on his face as he stared at her with his visible eye. " Let...me help." His hand gently grabbed hers as he tried helping he back onto the bed to at least sit.

X She saw his shadows move closer to her but there was really little she could do in the way of stopping him if he was going to try anything.
Night looked up at the man, the way she looked at him he would have had a clear view of her dull eyes. This close it would have been easy to tell that they weren't always like this, he would know she couldn't see. Night turned away..
She couldn't look at what she couldn't see any more, she was tired of it, tried of not seeing how everyone else saw. She left him help her up, his hands were rough in comparison to her but they were gentle. He really did mean no harm to her and she could tell he was concerned for her. Again the crimson butterfly played out of sight but this time she called to it. As she sat on the bed the crimson butterfly materialised in the real world, not just where she could see it in the void between voids.
Night reached out to it and it gently lands on her fingertips. “This...I found it hovering over you wound... She touched her chest where his wound transferred to her then she held out the butterfly from him to see. She wondered how he would react to it...she knew there were other souls in him so would they fight to keep him from seeing this one? She knew there was something about this one, but what?

SaS took a closer look at her as he helped her and was curious about her eyes. They were very dull and he was sure she lost her sight but she was able to move around with ease so he was unsure what the deal was. Perhaps she was losing her vision bit by bit or maybe she couldn't see color. Regardless he just wanted to help her out as he lifted her to the side of the bed and sat her down. He glanced into her eyes but glanced down when she looked away but his eyes widened when he saw a rather large butterfly. The color was crimson and he could feel a familiar hatred within in it. Gripping his chest he remained silent as she spoke to him.
He glared at the soul when he realized whose it was. " The beast within in me..I sense him in that creature....what is that?" Was all he said as he felt its aura trying to take over again. The shadow would again try to overcome him as he pushed it back, using will power alone. The beast that would destroy him one day had his soul flowing right in front of him. He stared at the butterfly with pure curiosity in his eyes as he gently reached forward as if to try and touch it. Instead he gently brushes his fingers against hers as he remains entranced by the movements of the butterfly. His stare was blank to her but he was completely sucked in attention wise.
Why is his color crimson? He thought for a moment as he glanced back up at the lady once his attention returned.
" How...did you do this?" He asked in a polite tone but he was filled with curiosity as he gazed into her eyes with his one.

X Night stared back up at SaS. He called what she held a beast? She never thought any of her butterflies were bests at all but then again she didn't actually know that they represented souls either. So when he asked her what it was, she really had no answer for it so she didn't say anything rather she just kept watching him.
It seemed that this butterfly of hers was stirring something within this man because she could see one of his shadows become restless and grow bigger. She watched it for some time wondering if that was the beast he spoke of but as his hand brushed buy hers she forgot what she was looking at and began to look away. “I...I don't know how I do it or what it is....but I like them.” She started back at the butterfly, the only colour in this room for her. Of course she liked them, she would never dare let them go for it was her only way of seeing the colours of the world she missed. Every time she conjured a butterfly or found one she never quite knew what she would get. They all seemed to act different to the next, this one for example she could feel was very strong and it seemed like it pushed and pulled at life itself, always fighting. The more she thought about it the more she realised that the battle wasn't just about life itself in its simplest form...but his life. That's what they seemed to battle for...
“I don't understand something... She final said after thinking about the butterfly sitting restlessly on her fingertips. “Why..why are you not just one? Why is it that your sharing that life with two others? It was rather a sudden question that she asked and to her she didn't know that it wasn't common knowledge for others to know that something else lived inside this man. However, Night was curious as to who this person was and why he was like this. Why fight an eternal struggle with it, what was so bad about the things he shared his life with?

SaS was still trying to take everything in as he studied the small butterfly. Sadly he found her silence not helpful by any means as he closed his eyes to sigh. He could just feel her eyes watch him as he opened his own to stare down at the butterfly as if it were the devil itself, and in sense it was. She could probably tell something was in him and that it was the dragon and the maiden. Although SaS thought that the butterfly could be his dragon's soul, he could feel the dragon fighting to break free to show he wasn't going to be held down otherwise. He wasn't a fan of his soul being out in the open and even though he didn't need it to survive he still found it to be a stain on his pride.
SaS was lucky to be holding the creature back still at this point since it seemed he really wanted out, especially with Night here. The Dragons black aura slowly began to surround SaS and expand as he tried to remain calm and push it back. Taking his mind off of it he looked back at Night as she explained that while she didn't know what was up with the butterflies, that she did like them. Glancing at the small butterfly he began to wonder what was so special about the small creature. This train of thought was quickly dispersed once he heard Night speak again, but this time it was about the beings within him. SaS began to speak before coughing up blood and fall to his knees. The Dragon had him now.
" They.....were sealed inside me.....I am their host....and for me...my soul....my body is a war." He explained slowly his body in pain as the aura grew larger his hand gently holding onto hers before he spoke again. " The darker one.....the dragon can....control me at will. You need to go....he's coming....you need to run..." He warned her while growling in pain. In a few moments SaS would start howling in pain and gripping his chest where his heart would be. In a few moments the aura was surrounding him as the image of black wings appeared behind SaS. Standing up the man gave a big smirk but Night could soon tell this wasn't the same person she saved. Although the body was the same, the soul wasn't by any means. SaS/Dragon began to grin and in a deep tone began to speak as he looked at Night in a rather....lustful manner.
" Hello little lady."

X Night watched him with interest. She watched as one of his shadows began to viciously fight him, battling to come out she guessed. Her eyes widened the more she watched, she wondered what it was, this thing that looked like it were trying to kill him. “No stop... It was just a whisper and Night didn't think he had even heard it for all that fighting, that suffering he was going through.
Night fell to her knees next to him with worry, she saw the dark patches on the floor and could only assume them to be his blood. She was about to speak but waited when she heard his voice. It was so strained now, not like it was before when it was like music to her ears.
She could almost fell the pain he was feeling through his touch. He held her hand and she wanted to scream for him just from that pain she could feel coming from him. She knew it would be like nothing he actually felt right now.
She didn't move. No way would she leave him like this. It wasn't in her to just run from someone suffering and maybe that was her downfall, and would be her downfall tonight.
Night couldn't take her eyes from him, his shadow now turned crimson. Never before had any shadow taken a colour that she could see except this one. The shock of it froze her to the spot and she couldn't move, only watch as what appeared to be wings came out from behind him. He seemed taller too, more confident in who he was, and more comfortable in a body not meant for him. Night didn't know what to think, she thought to run but her legs wouldn't move, she thought to scream but no words came to her mouth. All she could do was watch as its shadow, its crimson shadow, began to grow toward her. It was like it was trying to pull her into it.
It was then she noticed the butterfly, it had come between her and him, just hovering right before Night.

The Dragon could only smirk as the girl was lost in pure fear and it was hilarious. This girl was quite the catch and he could see why the boy was so drawn by her and the kindness she shows. Grinning he gave a bow before before smirking at her. He had to agree that SaS could pick em. Then again, she had saved him so perhaps this was more of a good chance of fate. But it was one good chance the dragon wasn't going to slip away.
" Nice butterfly...looks real cute." He said before chuckling at her his teeth now fangs as he continued to stare down Night. " So what might be your name miss? The boys name is SaS....just if you were wondering." He said in an almost bored tone as if mentioning SaS was a bothersome task. The dragon remained calm and collected as he scanned nights figure and liked what he saw. He definitely had to make this girl his own and would do anything to make it happen. Stepping closer he placed a hand on her chin and smirked at the girl his eyes staring into hers. " You are a very attractive lady..how about you help me kill the boy and I'll show you what this body can do?" He said before leaning in and pressing his lips against her own for a brief second before grinning again as he broke the kiss a few seconds after.

X He towered over her appearing all the more threatening or at least trying to appear so. If Night had found her legs she would have stood up so that she wasn't at such a disadvantage but as he continued to speak all she could do was just sit there, entranced.
SaS...Night let that word flutter through her mind. So his name was SaS.... Night half ignored what the dragon had said other than the man's name. She wondered exactly where he went when the dragon took over like this and with that thought she focused back on the shadow. It was then she realised just how close he was standing to her. She could almost feel tendrils of his shadow licking at her skin as he looked her over, assessing her and her body. That lust was so clearly evident her to someone like her who cant see the smirks on his face.
His hand slipped under her chin and lifted her face to met his. She froze at his touch that she didn't do anything other than let him hold her like that, his face, his eyes boring into her own dull ones.
Her eyes widened in shock, maybe even fear but before she could say or do anything he had pressed his lips on her own for what seemed an eternity. Night had never been kissed before but this was not how she thought it was meant to go. Though her cheeks did flush red it was a mix of embarrassment and anger. He had stolen her first ever kiss, this creature had stolen it and now she will never get that back.
She pulled away from him so that his hand no longer held her face. She could feel some sort of power flowing through her from her emotions and she called for the crimson butterfly to come to her – it did. Night focused on it as it landed in the palm of her hands, she glanced at the dragon a glare in her eyes then she continued to focus. “Cute you say...?” Her hands began to glow until a ball of light encased the crimson butterfly “Go back you fiend! Bring SaS back!” With all her will pouring into the white ball surrounding the butterfly she commanded its soul to do as she wanted, to return into the dark place of SaS's mind and return the true owner of that body back to her. Though Night wasn't one to fight, sometimes...she can snap – or so she just found out for the first time now.

The dragon began to chuckle as her cheeks got red, and soon enough Night would feel the shadows being destroyed from within. SaS was VERY unamused that the dragon indirectly cost him his first kiss. Although it was the dragons spirit doing this the body was still SaS's so his first kiss....was with Night. He didn't mind this of course but he wouldn't admit that he would have rather kissed her himself. The Dragon began to smile before noticing the girl gather energy. " Oh my. Is the little girl upset....don't feel to bad...my host is also enraged...hahaha. " His sick laugh echoed throughout the room as he rubbed his chin. He really didn't care that this girl lost her first kiss mostly because he had only wanted one thing. The only people who would take offense would be SaS and the Maiden. Lucky for the dragon, the maiden wasn't showing up nor showing signs of making a move.
When the girl began to make orders, the dragon could only grin as he prepared an attack. But soon enough he could feel his soul being imprisoned. What power was this!? He tried reaching for the girl but his power began to drastically disappear as he howled in anger. " You may stop me now but I'll be back! That is, if you even bother staying with this boy anymore..heheheh." He taunted her as the shadows began to return within SaS as he dropped to his knees.
In a few moments SaS began to move again as he stood his good eye returned to normal as his other eye remained behind the eye patch. He slowly looked into Nights eyes and began to blush before touching his lips. " My...first.....no...I'm sorry about what he did. I couldn't stop him.....but at the same time I didn't...mind it either. I'm sorry miss." He looked down ashamed at the fact that that his first kiss cost someone else their own, and that it was the dragon who caused this and not himself. At the same time he felt draw to Night, but it was this same thing that allowed the dragon to escape. SaS couldn't allow this and he began to bow. " I...I should go. Don't worry...the room is paid for.....you can stay for up to 3 days. But me being here has caused enough troubles....I afford attachment.....especially if the Dragon is the cause."

X Night blinked in shock, never before had she done anything like what she just did. How she even did it was just... Night couldn't contain her thoughts, they ran wild through her head and everything else around her was a blur. She questioned exactly what these butterflies that she summoned were and now she wondered if she should be afraid of them. What had she just done? All she could work out is that somehow she commanded that beast to leave...and it did.
It scared her to think that that thing would be back. She shook her head not wanting to think about how annoyed it would be with her but then she remembered that it stole something, her first kiss...It was embarrassing to admit it, she is 19 and THAT was her first kiss. She couldn't work out if she should just leave, just run out the room now and not have anything more to do with this man. Again though she didn't move, her head threw thoughts at her 'If you leave then the beast gets what it wants' or 'No it wants you to stay, leave now while you still can'.
Night's thoughts stopped as he spoke, 'he didn't mind it...his first...' Night wanted to scream, why was she in this situation? She had never in her whole life experienced anything like this and now this man....well this triple man was telling her that he wanted to kiss her....that THAT was his first kiss too? Night didn't know how to react, she just stared at her hands to worried that if she looked up and he could see her face he'd noticed that her cheeks were blushing. What?! Her cheeks were blushing!
Dragon...the words played in her head until she put the puzzle piece into place. 'That’s a dragon! I was kissed by a dragon!' Again she had to calm her thoughts and her emotions. They were still running a muck in her and she could still feel the power surging through her body from them. Did she want him to go? It was hard to say but how could she stop him anyway when the words wouldn't come from her lips and she didn't know if she wanted him to stay or go.

Don't leave her now! That was what his body was telling him but he didn't want to cause anymore worry. He was at the door when his body stopped moving, but not because he didn't want to. Oh no you don't brother. A female voice called out to him in his thoughts as a bright light covered his body. In a few moments an image of a beautiful girl was behind SaS as he turned to face Night. Stepping into the room he knelt before her and gently touched her hand. His mouth began to move again but the voice was a womans and it was soothing to hear.
"Hello there, I'm going to need you to calm down so I can explain what the idiot and the bigger idiot did." The woman said calmly. The idiot she was referring to was SaS and the bigger idiot was the Dragon. Smiling the woman gently held onto her hand. Not wanting her to panic simply because her brother couldn't keep himself under control. While she did admit the Dragon was a tough one to hold down SaS had been living with it inside him for years, he should be doing a better job by now! Regardless she still loved her brother none-the-less and hoped one day he could be free of his curse without having to die.
"My brother...SaS...he can't control the Dragon. It was placed inside him as an infant and has terrorized him his whole life, me being in his body doesn't help him that much either. He loses control especially when he has feelings of attachment or anger or sometimes he just loses control without warning. And around you he has a harder time controlling the dragon mostly because both him and that dragon have an interest in you." She hoped her explanations wouldn't be to confusing as she spoke on. Although she couldn't explain her powers to her just yet she would at least explain what was going on with her brother and his body.
"I am the third soul in this body and I am the maiden of light. I protect the boy the best I can but sadly the dragon is much stronger than I. So I can only come out when the dragon is at ease or held back. But I digress...I am here to apologize to you on behalf of those idiots...a girls first kiss is a serious thing and I will have SaS apologize as well. "And to clarify...the reason he didn't mindit was because he may or may not have a crush on you. I'm still not to sure on how he thinks sometimes. But don't worry...I'm gonna punish him and he WILL apologize." She said with an unamused expression before grumbling, "That idiot can't just tell a girl he likes her...I swear."
