Personality: Once a jovial, live in the moment, think later attitude, his world was torn to shreads when Sephiroth's return ended, all to quickly, the life of his beloved fiance, Seria. He then became cold and vengeful toward most of his dearest friends as well as the rest of the world. After accidently taking the life of a drunken gaurd, Gideon quickly came to see what he had become and accepted his five years in the desert prison. He did much self reflection and rigorous physical training, trying to quell a constant rage that had lived inside him since Seria's death. Eventually he came to the conclusion that Sephiroth could not be dead because he was going to kill him personally. Due to this he is always searching for any sign of the silver haired demon's return. Gideon therefore sometimes seems paranoid, in a way, whenever strange disaster's occur and will almost always find his way to the sight they occured.
He is very strongly against violence of any sort toward a woman and will instantly draw his weapon regardless of the circumstances if he is anywhere near the scene of such violence. Due to his past experiences, however, he makes sure to keep things non lethal. His only current friend is his sword wich his father made him along with his armor. This does not however limit him from becoming friends with fellow bounty hunters or ex-Soldiers. He has a strong subconscious bond with the whole of Midgar in terms of those harmed in any way by Sephiroth's return
History: Gideon joined soldier at the young age of 17. He was inspired to give it everything that he was physically capable of when he heard a first class soldier with long, spiked back, black hair give a speech about one's honor and dreams. In a month he had achieved something none thought possible and reached second class. this was, in part, due to his life long love for battle and almost natural sense of combat strategy. Had his idol not been betrayed by his other Hero, the great and revered Sephiroth, he may have reached first within the year. Then again Lady Fate was never a kind mistress. When he heard the news he turned his back on the entire organization and never looked back; with all of them after the so called traitor it was easy to persuade his fellow soldier Kunsel to report him KIA.
After meeting a girl who would later become his fiance his worries began to melt away, though the lust for battle never truly died. Four years later tragedy ruined all he thought to be good when a large chunk of falling debri from what had been Shinra building, landed on the small house he and Seria had bought with his beloved still inside. From there he ended up in prison for five years and later, after learning of Kadaj's role in the events of Sephiroth's return, became a bounty hunter traveling and making money together in his job. During a hunt trying to track down a man that was wanted for murder, Gideon stumbled upon a portal in some ruin that he had tracked the man to. The portal threw him headfirst into a war on a foreign world he came to learn was called Cocoon. Suddenly his world was shattered again, only this time it mended itself in the realization that this planet and its war was exactly what he felt at home with.
Gideon had to stay hidden for a time due to a civilian's reaction to his eyes. After weeks of analyzing, and a few small encounters, Gideon had adjusted to the average fighting style of the military on Cocoon. He had also analyzed the gifted yet cursed Pulse l'cie and l'cie of Cocoon whom, in many ways, reminded him of his soldiers back on Gaia. He was instantly for the side of cocoon after realizing that in many ways the Pulse l'cie reminded him of Jenova and her many Sephiroths and Kadajs of Gaia as well. He vowed not to see another planet suffer such fate and post-poned the idea of returning home. thus he became a bounty hunter of the Pulse l'cie.
Abilities: deathblow: instant crit, of coarse,only if landed, Never say die: hardens the skin to twice the density of his armor only as a resort to avoid death, downfall: the energy required will leave him incapacitated for at least a few days, Limit break: Crush Punch, taught to him by his father, the only thing so far proven to effectively pierce his Never say die ability, it is capable of extreme physical damage, takes time to focus if on the move; his body begins to pulse with the mako infused in his body leading to his eyes glowing as well as the veins throughout his neck and face, mako begins to visibly rise from his body. Limit break:Blood Moon cycle, a full circle upward slash sends the opponent high into the sky, quickly jumps to the opponents elevation attacks with a series of seven full circle slashes, ends with a somersalt slash that takes himself and his opponent divng toward the ground leaving a crater where they land.

Strengths:through concentrated mako exposure gained abnormal strength and speed, never fights with emotions(though the conflicts may start out due to strong moral beliefs), only through calculated, direct, and ruthless strategy, his blade compliments his style mainly based on counterattacks but allows him innovativeness when pulled from his comfort Zone
Weaknesses:Will die before striking a woman, cannot tolerate another man doing so and will instantly make things violent, his heavy blade requires at least a small amount of momentum to be truly effective offensively.
Weapon:Customized, dual handled, five foot long, one foot wide, three inch thick blade made of carbon steal with diamond edge. Handles located a foot from the top and bottom each 12 inches long, one foot space between. The blade is dotted with several spaces to catch and snap blades of opposing swordsman, also serves the purpose to make it lighter.

Role Play Sample: Gideon rushed through the street chasing the suspected Pulse l'cie. Normally he would have caught the man buy now but th streets were crowded and he didn't feel like dealing with the chaos that would result from letting the people know the suspect was most definately Pulse l'cie. Beyond that he himself was not of this planet, and would probably be branded as one himself if he got too hasty. the man would eventually duck into an alley in hopes of avoiding him but it would be in vain. There! he had just done exactly that.
Gideon cast shell and barrier on himself before reaching the alley and, upon reaching it, shot into and down it, straight into the man that had taken his chance to catch his breath. The man's 5'8", 180lbs, stationary body didn't have a chance compared to Gideon's much larger mass that had built up a very decent amount of momentum. The man flew backward and ended up spawled on the ground. Quickly recovering he jumped up and drew a sword while charging his pursuer. Gideon quickly, fluidly, and skillfully drew his blade, caught the man's sword in one of the spaces made for that exact purpose, and snapped it in half. With a quick steel guantlet under the jaw the man was unconscious.
