Karashi walked around, looking all around her. How the hell had she gotten here? One minute she had been cooking her own meal, about to go to school and the next she was in this parallel universe. She didn't have a clue how she got here. And apparently she was already dressed to blend in. She found two fans on her hips, and frowned. What the hell were these things? She threw them, and they came back to her. She caught them, and then realized what they were for. They were for weapons!
She out them back into their holders and continued to walk through this land. She hadn't seen any signs of life so far, and that was not a good thing. She wondered if she had been banished to an unknown universe for something she had done. But as she walked she racked her brains for something bad, and she couldn't find anything. She sighed, running her temples. She was getting a headache. Maybe this was all a dream. She only hoped it was, and that she would wake up soon.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Gaia was pretty empty these days, no one liked to walk the streets with all these PSICOM soldiers from Cocoon wandering about. Especially Repa, they seemed to target her a lot from being around Cloud Strife, but she didn’t mind…in fact, nowadays she just snuck around the soldiers to whatever she pleased. Today was one of those days… Walking out of her apartment Repa breathed in the fresh air, which was a bit unseasonably warm for this time of year…perfect way to start off the day. Though she was dead tired with all that was going on lately, she decided a nice walk around the city and even maybe visit the park would be a good way to spend it, instead of wasting all this lovely weather sleeping, though that didn’t sound half bad to her either. Oh well, with a small smile on her face Repa banded her long black hair in a pony tail and enjoyed this awesome t-shirt weather. Well, t-shirt and jeans but that was okay still. Anyways, the sun was high and no one seemed to take advantage of this lovely weather except for her, it sort of concerned her, this far along not even a soldier was in sight…really weird. Perhaps they had gone back to Cocoon for a bit? For more supplies or something? Repa hoped so…she didn’t need another PSICOM ambush on her doorstep. The streets being abandoned…was still a bit strange. Repa stopped on the corner of one road and placed her hands on her hips, her expression a bit…confused as she looked down the street…nothing. Not one single person was out and about today. Slowly walking down a new street she looked in the shops, no one was shopping today either? The only people out were those people running the shops! It was so weird! And Repa was so distracted by the oddness of this empty city that she didn’t even watch herself bump forward into what seemed like the only life form out on the streets today…Karashi. As she bumped into the girl ahead of her, Repa leaped back. “I’m sorry! I uh…Wasn’t watching!” She worried frantically at first before trying to calm her startled emotions. As she looked at Karashi, there was something familiar about her…Repa couldn’t place her finger on it…but something was definitely there. It was making her curious, but she didn’t want to come off creepy and start asking questions…so she nodded at the girl after she stated her apology and started off, trying to keep better attention to where she was going. Karashi was so lost, she didn’t know which way was North and which way was South. In fact, she really didn’t know what anything was in this parallel universe. It confused her in every way possible. She felt like a stranger in this place, which was really what she was. She didn’t know anyone or anything for that matter. She just hated the fact that she was clueless. She hated going to new places and not knowing anything about them. It made her feel dumb, and from her grades back in her old universe, she was far from dumb. At least that much she knew. She didn’t know what to do or where to go.
She walked down the streets, not paying any attention to the soldiers walking around. She wondered if she was supposed to pay any attention to them. In fact, she wondered if she was supposed to say anything to them at all. They weren’t bothering her, so she figured she would just lay low and stay out of trouble. She continued walking along normally, side glancing at the soldiers in case one of them decided to follow her. She continued down the other streets until she got to one that had some shops on it. Finally! A street that looked like a normal one in her old universe! She smiled to herself. Maybe this place wouldn’t be so creepy after all.
She walked down the streets, trying to look in the stores as she walked down the street. She wondered where everyone else was. She frowned. There was no one in the stores as she looked in, only the people who apparently ran the stores. She didn’t like the fact that there was hardly a person in sight. It made her feel insecure. She wondered if she should get out her fans, just in case something happened out of the blue. She got them out. Better safe than sorry.
She continued to walk down the street, and was suddenly bumped by someone, who immediately jumped back and apologized. Karashi smiled at the girl. “It’s quite alright.” She frowned. As she looked at the girl, something seemed familiar about her. Had they met in the other universe before? She shook her head, knowing it wasn’t possible. There was no way she could have met this girl in the other universe. She saw the girl walking away, and realized that this was her chance. “Hey wait!” She ran after the girl, and stopped in front of her. “Um, I’m kind of new here…Can you help me find my way around?” She hoped this girl would say yes.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” It felt so nice to be outside and not freezing! It was almost a miracle how the weather had changed, and Repa was going to soak up as much of this warm sun as she possibly could before the cold came back. Still the lack of people around town started to concern her, though there was the occasional PSICOM soldier…not much more than that. Maybe people were too comfortable in their homes or at work to enjoy the day like Repa could? Yeah that was probably it. It was a good enough assumption for now before she started to worry herself to death. As Repa continued walking down the street she noticed some stores…a few she had been to and a few she hadn’t, perhaps she would take a day sometime soon to just tour the city some more, she still wasn’t the most perfect person to ask for directions to places around here, but she’d been temporarily living here for a few months so she definitely knew the basics. Of course, being so clumsy and oblivious Repa just had to run into someone. Out of this huge area that no one was walking in, she found the one person out in about to run into. Lovely. While Repa had a minor panic attack, hoping this girl wasn’t the type to jump all over you if you stepped one toe out of line, Repa was rubbing letting her eyes drift off to the side trying not to act like a fool or anything. But her eyes lightened when the girl replied that it was okay. A smile stretched across this princesses face as she folded her hands together behind her back. “Phew! Close call then…Alright well again, my apologies.” She said briefly before taking a few strides forward, beginning to hum to herself as well. As Repa started walking off, humming her happy little tune she heard the girl she ran into call out at her. She watched as the girl caught up to her and stood in front of her asking for her help. Oh boy, Repa rubbed the back of her head a bit as she paused to respond. She had been throwing out all sorts of help lately, and really it was starting to bother her a bit. She was so tired anymore, so wiped out it was unreal, but she was once a foreigner to this place and required the help of some people, so why not switch the roles and help this girl out? It wouldn’t be too bad at least showing the girl around…besides…Repa was planning on walking around Edge today before going back home and sleeping those whopping 2 hours a night as usual. “Sure…why not.” She said with a slight shrug. “This world is called Gaia…the city you are in…is Edge, really a sister city to Midgar…” she started off before looking at the girl once more and folding her arms across her chest. “Where are you from anyways?”Words: 594 Muse: Good Notes: None

The girl still seemed familiar. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it. She frowned. She wondered what was so familiar with her, but she shook her head. She could have never met this girl. She probably lived in this universe her whole life, and Karashi had just gotten here. She knew that she couldn’t know this girl. It was just impossible. She smiled at the girl. She was glad to get some help from someone for once. She was completely lost, and she knew she wouldn’t last two minutes on her own.
She smiled and nodded at the girl. “Thanks so much. I just got here, like literally five minutes ago, and I’m already lost.” She smiled sheepishly. She felt so stupid saying that. Here she was a seventeen year old mage and she was lost in an alternate universe. The girl must have thought that she was a loser. Even so, she was the only girl here and she was the only one who seemed willing to help her to get to know the place. She was glad that one person wanted to help her.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Edge wasn’t a difficult city, it took a few times around before you started to get the layout of the land though. Repa didn’t have that kind of time though, she didn’t want to walk circles in Edge all afternoon…in fact, she wanted to finish her walk and go back to take a nap…maybe catch up on a ton of lost sleep. But first, a brief tour of the more important parts of the city…Repa turned away from the girl, letting her eyes scan the area around her as she placed her hands on her hips. Where to begin? She’d already stated the world and current city, but where do you go from there? A hotel perhaps? Maybe that was a good idea to get this girl a place to stay. Repa had Ebony staying in her apartment for awhile and now she just wanted some alone time, especially since Josh popped in every now and then, so she had that extra room, and she didn’t know this girl so that’d be weird. “Hmmm…Where do I begin?” Repa said in hesitant voice. “First let’s find you a place to stay…or at least an option.” She said starting off hoping the girl would get the picture and just follow her as she rounded a corner. There weren’t that many hotels to offer in Edge but certainly there’d be someplace for this girl to stay…and speaking of this girl, Repa turned her head to the side a bit to see this girl out of the corner of her eyes. “I’m Repa by the way…” She said before facing forward once more and continuing to walk on. Done this a few hotels stood, and outside one Repa stopped and turned towards it. It looked pretty decent…a nice outer appearance and it was pretty big. “A hotel is probably the best place to start…if it’s really temporary.” She said examining the hotel that she had stopped at. “There are a few more down the road…you can check them out later…c’mon…” She said waving her hand at Karashi to get moving again. Repa continued to explain some of the buildings and their locations to Karashi, like a grocery store. That was important, and other things like that. A bank, and other places, but after awhile you pretty much figured out what everything was. All it took was a couple hours of exploring if you were that dedicated to it. Almost coming back to where she started Repa stopped in her tracks and placed her hands on her hips again, shifting her weight to her left foot before turning around to face Karashi. “That’s probably the best tour I can give you…I’m not exactly a local myself…but I’ve been here long enough to nail down the basics.” She said with a small smile. Karashi waited as the girl stood there. She really couldn’t figure out what exactly she was doing. She was standing there with one hand on each hip, and just looking around. Karashi’s expression turned to one of confusion as she studied the girl, trying to figure out just what the hell she was doing. Karashi wondered what this girl was going to do, and debated whether she was going to surprise attack her or actually help her. She didn’t know which was better, because the girl could help her right into a trap as well. Karashi decided to go into defense mode, just to be safe. Her mother had raised her never to trust someone until you got to know them.
She then heard the girl say something about a hotel. Hotel? Karashi hadn’t seen any of those when she walked down the street. Well, maybe she had, she just hadn’t known they were hotels. Considering she wasn’t even from this place, everything was foreign to her. She felt like such a tourist. She heard the girl introduce herself, and Karashi would have done the same, except for the fact that the girl had started walking ahead. Karashi quickly followed her until they stopped in front of a building. She had seen the building before, but didn’t really know it was a hotel at the time.
Karashi quickly caught up to Repa again as she started out again. She listened intently, sincerely interested about learning the names and locations of the different places. She had started writing them down quickly in a notebook that she had bought before seeing Repa, but she wasn’t sure if she got them all considering the girl had gone through them so quickly. She nodded when the girl was done and put her notebook away in a pocket that she had in the folds of her shirt. It felt bulky but she would get used to it. She nodded at the girl’s last comments. “I’m glad you showed me around. I’m Karashi Usaki by the way. Say, you look familiar. Have we met before?” She looked the girl up and down, trying to search her brain for any memory of her.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” A few moments of silence had passed before Repa actually started her little ‘tour’, and as things got underway, she remembered her first time in Gaia…in Edge to be exact. She was hopelessly lost and there were a few people to help her out around here…those being Cloud and Tifa…two of the nicest people you could ever meet, and Repa still owed them for all their generosity…but right now wasn’t the best time for thinking of a way to repay them…but in a way, Repa was sort of already repaying them back. She was putting her own life on the line to help Cloud. There were countless times she threw herself in the line of fire between Cloud and PSICOM so Cloud could either get away, or have an advantage with Repa being such a good distraction…taking out your own men certainly got people’s attention. Finally, walking around town was done for, they had gone in a complete circle, back where they started and Repa stopped walking, turning to face Karashi as she introduced herself. With thanks for her giving a small tour, Repa nodded back at Karashi with a small smile. “You’re welcome…it’s nice to meet you Karashi.” It seemed Repa and karashi were thinking the same thing. Why did the other look so familiar? Of course, Repa could never place a finger on where she had seen this girl before. Repa scratched the back of her head, trying to rack her brain for any answers for her curiosity. “I don’t think so?” She started off trying to remember. “I’ve been to many places and met many people, so I can’t really say that I remember you from anywhere….but somethings familiar about you….perhaps we have and I just forgot?” She said with a nervous laugh at the end, trying not to seem rude with forgetting people and what not. While still rubbing the back of her head, Repa faced down the road that had the hotels on it. “Well there are plenty of places to stay around here…and if you need anything….you can come find me.” More offering. But that was Repa for you! Almost too nice to say no to any help she could give. “Perhaps after awhile my memory will come back to me and I’ll remember you!” she said with a sheepish grin, still racking her brain for anything…though it was hard when you were a princess and met over thousands of people in a tiny lifespan already. (heres the idea i got....perhaps they could have met eachother briefly in the past -- Repa's father did alot of world traveling way back when -- and in my next post ill bring in PSICOM) Words: 553 Muse: Goodish Notes: none

Karashi followed Repa as she continued giving the tour. She marked down some more things in the little notebook that she had kept, nodding and listening intently. She wanted to find her way around, not waste this girl’s time, so she was genuinely interested in getting to know the place that she would be living in for what she figured would be the rest of her life. She was glad that her mom had given her money before she had left. She didn’t know what she would have done if she didn’t have any money. She nodded at Repa.
She smiled at Repa then at her mentioning them meeting. “Maybe we have. I’ve never been here before, but maybe you’ve been to my universe?” She crossed her arms over her chest, shifting her weight to one foot. She wondered what was going through the girl’s mind. Was she thinking the same thing Karashi was thinking? She could only imagine. She noticed the girl’s nervous laugh and laughed as well. “It’s alright. I tend to forget a lot of things.” She chuckled, knowing that what she said was true.
Karashi nodded, watching Repa turn away from her. She didn’t know what to say to her except thanks again. She couldn’t really say anything else seeing as the girl kept talking. “Thanks again for showing me around. If I hadn’t found you I don’t think I would have found my way around. I probably wouldn’t have lasted even five seconds here.” She smiled and then did something extraordinary. She hugged the girl. She normally wouldn’t do that to a stranger, but she had to show her thanks in some way. She really didn’t know how else to show her thanks.
She let go and then looked away guiltily. She hoped that the girl didn’t mind that she had hugged her. Karashi liked hugs personally, but she hardly did it to strangers. Still, she felt it had been right, so she figured the girl wouldn’t mind. “Thanks again!” She started to go off towards the hotel where she would be staying when suddenly she got dizzy. She held her head and swayed a little. This only happened when she sensed a lot of bad energy emanating from someone, and she looked around. She couldn’t see anyone other than Repa, so she continued on. Suddenly, she dropped like a rock, landing with a thud on the ground.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa really had to think back on these sort of things, if she had met Karashi before, it must’ve been when she was a lot younger. She didn’t know half the worlds she had visited, so for now, it was pretty useless. Repa just chuckled a bit at the whole thing, she was so forgetful sometimes, but hey it happens. “I guess that sort of stuff happens when you’ve met thousands of people in your life…I can never place a name with a face anymore these days.” She said with a small shrug almost enjoying herself today. A tour sure beat the hell out of fighting or running from PSICOM, in fact, today was a lot better than most days. There wasn’t a problem going on…of course now that probably jinxed it. As Repa turned away she heard Karashi’s thanks and smiled to herself still facing away she had a light happy tone to her voice while her hands were placed on her hips, wondering what she wanted to do for the rest of the day…SLEEP! “Oh its no problem…I was just like you when I first got here myself…it’s not a difficult world, you’ll pick things up pretty quick I’m sure.” She said still grinning to herself, she earned her gold star for a good deed. But one thing Repa didn’t expect at all was a hug. Her eyes widened a bit as it startled her at first, but she couldn’t help but feel a little good on the inside, she really had done something nice and it gave her that warm fuzzy feeling on the inside. She let Karashi hug her without questioning her actions and just smiled as she let go and watched Karashi walk towards the hotel. Something caught Repa’s eye though. She turned back around only to see Karashi fall and that sent up a red flag to Repa, she ran over to Karashi and knelt down, worry on her face as she lifted the top half of Karashi off the ground to try and get her to wake up. But as she was worried about Karashi, Repa then heard a familiar sound, the cocking of guns. She looked up and gritted her teeth together as she saw PSICOM soldiers aiming their guns at her and Karashi. She laid Karashi back down gently and stepped in front of her, just in case bullets were actually fired. “The fugitive is taking out civilians! We must not let her escape this time!” One of the soliders shouted, and Repa just smirked, this was so stupid of them. And in a flash, Repa’s gunblade appeared in her hands and she charged for the soldiers, but one of them had a really big gun on them…a bazooka most likely and shot it at Repa’s feet, sending her airborne and her gunblade flying away from her. It clanked to the ground and she landed right next to it as shots were then fired. Repa fell to the ground with a hard thud and she rolled to her side, clutching her side in pain as she looked over at Karashi, at least she was out of the line of fire. Repa looked down at her side and saw blood and just tried to suck up the pain long enough to get back up. She stumbled to her feet a bit, still clutching her side before her free hand balled into a fist and some soldiers were starting to go over to Karashi. Repa had to do something! “Hey is that all you got?!” She said provoking the soldiers, they turned towards her aiming their guns at her once again. “Come on then!” She said provoking them even more…and thus…shots were fired. For the first half of the fight, Karashi was still unconscious and unaware of what was going on. Curse her low blood sugar problem! She hated it when her body didn’t tell her that her blood sugar was low. Sometimes she just ended up collapsing without even knowing that it was low. She hated it. She had tried many remedies to help get rid of it or to make it less of a nuisance, but it was no use. Nothing worked, no matter what it was. She was forced to live with it.
Karashi moaned and her eyes fluttered open. She rolled over and rubbed her eyes. She wasn’t sure what was going on, but she heard Repa yell, and when her eyes were focused, she was staring at a bunch of men who seemed to have guns. They looked like Swat teams that she had seen on tv back home. She wondered what the hell was going on, and why these men were staring at her. She had no idea what she had woken up to, but she could tell that it was not good. She couldn’t tell who was the bad guy- Repa or the men who looked like a Swat team? She then heard Repa yell, and the men turned towards her. Karashi saw this was her time to escape.
She got up, a little wobbly at first, but then started running away. She was stop by an officer, who was grinning evilly. She was then picked up by the collar and shoved against a wall. She struggled against the man, but he was too strong. She looked at him with terror. “You just had to go and make friends with her now didn’t you?” He laughed evilly, and shoved her into the wall more. “Well then, baby doll. We’ll make sure she has a good sleep.” At that point, Karashi became angry. Unless this man was her boyfriend, which she had none, then he could not call her that. She narrowed her eyes at him. “Do. Not. Call. Me. BABY DOLL‼” They had crossed the line.
Karashi’s eyes began to glow blue. The ground started to rumble, and the man looked down, still holding her by the collar. “What the-?!” Karashi then grabbed him and threw him away. She stood over him. “Say hi to Satan for me.” Her voice was layered with one that was not her own. Pipes burst through the ground, and water came at him in one solid stream. He screamed in terror and was drowned in a wave of water. Karashi then turned to the others, and saw that shots had been fired. She gasped, and waved her hand quickly. “Repa move!” She flung a car in front of Repa, hoping that it wouldn’t hit the girl. She could tell that Repa was hurt. The bullets stopped when they penetrated the car, not going any deeper.
She started towards the men, walking as if she were not afraid of them, her eyes still glowing blue. Geysers of water popped up and drowned a soldier every time they tried to get near Karashi. She stood in the middle of the street, and started to spin. As she did so, she drew in water, creating a gigantic water tornado. “Raging Whirlpool!” She stretched out her hands and pushed it. The tornado flung any moving soldiers about ten feet, ensuring that they would never get up again. The tornado suddenly disappeared as quickly as it had come, and Karashi breathed heavily. She collapsed to her knees, swaying a little. She was exhausted and weak from using so much of her power, and she was very vulnerable. She only hoped that Repa was somewhat ok, besides the one injury she received.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa was definitely trying to hold her own. Without her gunblade even relatively close to her it was almost impossible to fight one handed. She had to let go of her wound and try to forget the pain and what not to try and defend herself, taking out as many soldiers as possible, though she never thought to take off her gloves and just touch the poor guys and watch them fall. No her mind was too distracted by that. As she continued to bleed down the side of her jeans she was pulling off the best martial arts she could, a few round house kicks, that definitely hurt her side, and even a few good punches to the face mask, it was a battle for survival, of course that was life in general.
While Repa did one more round house, she knocked down more soldiers, before feeling another sharp pain it her in the back. Her hand instinctively went to the back of her neck and a little below as she felt the warm ooze coming out of another bullet wound. Thank god it didn’t hit anything that would paralyze or kill her. She dropped then though, to one knee, one hand on the back of her neck and one on the ground for balance. This was a losing battle, for once PSICOM had actually shown up with strong forces, normally she was ready for them and could handle an ambush like this on her own, but this was unexpected and she didn’t have her blade, it was on the other side of the street after she was knocked away with that bazooka blast. With tears filling her eyes from the burning and stinging pain, Repa gritted her teeth and lowered her head, waiting for the shot to end it all…to end her. But something else happened.
Lifting her head some, Repa looked over at Karashi who was very much awake now and unhappy. She sighed in relief as her life was still remaining and the soldiers were more focused on Karashi rather than herself at the moment. Now was the time to count her blessings. She took a minute before standing up and looking over at Karashi take on PSICOM, doing surprisingly well too. Everything was happening so fast that Repa fell back on her bum when the car landed in front of her, shielding her from any bullets that would be coming her way and Repa just sat there wide eyed staring at the side of the car that was in front of her. What was this!? Karashi was…saving her. She owed a lot to a lot of people, but this was probably the closest call to date!
Repa sighed to herself as she breathed to catch her breath, all the sounds of gunfire and any other sort of attack died down and she stood back up again. Her hand glowed green for a few moments before she casted the cure upon herself, healing the wound in the back of her neck but not her side. Bullets were wedged into her side so that needed to heal on its own…no amount of magic would help that if there was lead stuck inside her body. With her neck healed she felt a little better and jumped on top of the hood of the car, which was trashed with bullets now and she jumped down, walking over to Karashi she sat on the curb and leaned back against the sidewalk. What a day…she looked over at Karashi, still a bit out of breath before she sent a cure towards the girl that probably just saved her life. “They aren’t as fun as they used to be…” she said with a smirk referring to PSICOM.Words: 710 Muse: Good Notes: None

Karashi breathed heavily. She was exhausted after using so much power so quickly like she had. She needed to watch that from now on. She could easily kill herself if she used too much power at once. She looked around at what she had done, and immediately a guilt wave washed over her. She gasped and covered her mouth, seeing bloodied bodies and men moaning on the sidewalk and street. She had dented cars and had smashed windows. She never knew that she could be that powerful. She had surprised even herself. She just felt so bad that she had killed all of those soldiers. She then had another thought. Since she had done that, was she now considered a fugitive?
She panicked, wondering what would happen now. Did she have to run from the law? Change her name? Dye her hair? Her mind whirled as all of these questions ran through her mind. She didn’t know what to think, and it was giving her a headache. Or was it because she was so weak and vulnerable at the moment? She shook her head, rubbing her temples. She couldn’t think too much or her headache would turn into a migraine, and that was the last thing she needed right now. She moaned softly, feeling a pain in her leg, and looked down. Somehow a bullet had gotten her, and it was bleeding down her leg. She gasped and lay back down, trying to keep herself from passing out. She got woozy when she saw blood, even if it was her own.
She then remembered Repa. The girl who she had been protecting in the first place. She sat up, and held her head, a bit woozy from getting up fast. She then looked around and saw the car that she had flung in front of Repa to save her. She only hoped that she hadn’t hit the girl in the process. She was about to go see if she was ok when the girl came out and sat on the sidewalk. She smiled, relieved that Repa was ok. She then felt tingly all over her body and looked down at her leg. The bullet had popped out and the wound had closed. It was as if she had never gotten shot. She gasped, fascinated by this work of magic. She crawled over to Repa and sat down beside her, smiling.
“I don’t think I’ve ever fought that hard in my life. I need to watch my powers though. I was weak from doing all of that.” She saw the blood runs from different scratches on her body, but the scratches were gone now. She looked at Repa. “Did you heal me? If so, thanks. I could have done it myself.” She then noticed the wound in Repa’s side and she gasped. “You’re hurt! If I did that, I am so sorry!” She inched closer to Repa and laid a hand on her side. Calling water to her, she performed the cure as best she could, and then gasped for air, breathing heavily. She looked around at all of the men. “Who are those guys anyway?” She then heard Repa’s comment. “What do you mean by that?” She was confused, and she frowned, confusion written all over her face.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” This wasn’t the worst Repa had seen it before…she’d seen much worse in her day. A lot worse, but then again, this wasn’t exactly lovely either. But she wasn’t going to sit there and cry about it or anything, she would get over it. PSICOM had it coming to them…it was bound to happen anyways. It seemed Cocoon was just throwing away their soldiers to try and take down a hand full of people…was it really worth it? Repa just dealt with whatever was thrown at her, it was all in self defense…the only reason she was ever labeled a fugitive was for helping Cloud Strife…she was surprised it wasn’t for taking out a giant chuck of PSICOM’s armed forces…though that probably just angered them.
Walking out and in the open Repa just grinned a bit at Karashi…so this was the hardest she had fought before? She’d have to get used to that being around Gaia. If that was difficult for Karashi, than Gaia wasn’t the place for her, and Repa knew it. Repa had to toughen up quite a bit to survive the streets here, and she just figured Karashi should get out of here while she had the chance…or at least get away from Edge and Midgar…those were the hot spots right now. “If you want to remain here in Edge…this town…you’re going to have to toughen up. From what I’ve been through…that was nothing.” Repa said brushing the dust and dirt off her clothes as she then sat down on the curb and just took the time to relax and rest for a moment.
So this girl was a healer as well? Well…that helped out some. Repa got worn out even more when using magic, but she didn’t know, so she just held up her energy for now and tried to rest some on the curb. While Karashi was panicking over Repa’s would, Repa herself just laughed a bit and clasped her hand over the wound. “It’s quite alright…that one was on me…” she said with a small shrug as she knew she would have to get home and tend to that one, getting the bullet out was probably the hard part, then let it heal on its own…no magic necessary. Repa felt as her wound healed a little bit, she didn’t want much healed by magic but a little to ease the pain, she wouldn’t complain about that.
“They’re an Elite group of the Sanctum’s army….of a world called Cocoon…PSICOM…Public Security and Intelligence Command…” She said before standing up to her feet and looking at the soldiers laid across the street. Good riddance. “PSICOM’s been targeting me for quite awhile…I’ve been getting so drained of any energy I had lately…that it’s starting to get impossible to keep up with the thousands of forces they have.” Repa said shaking her head, placing her hands on her hips and sighing…Karashi wouldn’t understand…this was strictly between her, Cloud, and only a handful of other people.Words: 628 Muse: Good Tagged: Karashi Notes: None

Karashi wondered if there were going to be more fights. She didn’t know this world very well, and since she didn’t, she knew that she would have to work on that. She frowned at Repa’s comment. She knew what she said was true, but she didn’t want to believe it. She sighed, not really sure what to do. She had no idea on how to get home, so it looked like she had no choice but to toughen up. She sighed once more. She had no idea how she was going to toughen up. She really didn’t even know the strengths and weaknesses of her powers.
She frowned when Repa said that she was alright. Apparently she wasn’t since she still had a bullet in her side. She wanted to heal it more, but she didn’t really know how. She wanted to help, but she couldn’t. She felt helpless, and she hated that feeling with a passion. She wanted to do something about it, but she wasn’t sure what exactly. She was going to need help, and soon, or she wouldn’t last against those soldiers. She knew she could never pull off another stunt like that. It would exhaust her too much and possibly even kill her.
She looked at Repa as she explained who the soldiers were. They were a special force? They sounded like the SWAT team back at home, but with more intelligence and technology. She wondered if they could be a possible threat to her. She frowned when Repa said they were after her. “Why? What did you do? And since I hurt and killed all of those men, does that mean they’ll be out to get me as well?” She was worried sick about that part. She thought for a minute, and then stood up, brushing herself off like Repa had done a few minutes ago. “Repa, I have a favor to ask of you.” She was dead serious. “Will you train me to be tougher so I can fight them?” She looked at Repa, waiting for an answer.
