Appearance His attire starts with a red leather coat decorated with two black shoulder pads. His undershirt iis black and looks much like a sweater. It is knitted well and has strips down it showing it's knitted design. The collar is tall and turtle neck like, but he folds it down to keep it out of his face. On his hands he wears a simple pair of leather gloves. Upon his legs he wears a pair of black baggy pants that are supported by not one, but two belts. He tucks his pants neatly into his black leather boots which have two buckles. The boot's themselves are simple in design having one simple stripe on the front of the toe area.
Personality:
Genesis comes off as a bit arrogant and childish at times, but he is cunning and highly intelligent able to formulate a complex plan with multiple outcomes. His power's of persuasion are also of a higher calibur as he is able to convince Angeal to defect and to throw Sephiroth into madness.
That being said Genesis is also a hopelessly romantic person, carrying taste in finer things such as his elegant rapier and his immense reliance in the poem Loveless. While speaking he will often qoute lines from the poem that are linked to the current situation. This often leads to his foes who know not of the poem being confused, and the more hot headed, to argue with him. This gives him and advantage and a chance to get into his foes head.
History:
Upon Genesis birth he was subjected to experiments and injected with Jenova cells. However he was labled a failure and pawned off on the Banora Landlord allied to Shinra. Here he met his childhood friend Angeal, who was also the subject of Project G, and they grew up together.
Genesis was later on introduced to SOLDIER, and saw how Sephiroth was famous. He craved the respect and admiration that Sephiroth had earned during his time in SOLDIER, so he joined up. Angeal also joined for his own reasons and the Duo stayed together. As they quickly climbed the ranks of SOLDIER Genesis came across the Poem LOVELESS and quickly fell in love with it. Whenever he was not practicing or working for SOLDIER he was studying the poem. Before long both he and Angeal had reach SOLDIER 1st Class, and they became friends with Sephiroth. As they spent more time together Genesis started to compare the trio to the three men in the LOVELESS poem, and he craved to create a world like the one in LOVELESS. Genesis began to notice that even though he was also a 1st Class SOLDIER, Sephiroth was the center of attention, but Genesis had convinced himself he was the Hero. In a sparing battle against Sephiroth, Genesis proceded to take it to far, attempting to fight with all his power. Angeal interrupted the two though, and in the attempt accidently hurt Genesis. Even though the wound was minor, it began to worsen, and he entered a state of degridation. He visited Dr. Hollinder to receive treatment for his wounds. There he learned about his being a failed experiment and that he was a monster.
Due to this knowledge of him being a failure he left SOLDIER, he allied himself with Hollender, and deserted taking many 2nd and 3rd Class soldiers with him. This became known as the "Mass SOLDIER Descertion Event." During this time Genesis infected the deserters with his DNA using the abilities given to his through Project G, to turn them into an army of his clones. However the clones also suffered from the same degridation as Genesis.
Genesis holed himself up in his hometown of Banora Village, which he had converted into a stronghold for himself. He is found by Zack and Tseng in the warehouse where he, expectedly, recites a peice of LOVELESS before Angeal enters the scene. Angeal points a sword in his direction but Genesis asked Angeal if he could live in a world where he had murdered his friend. He leaves the scene with Angeal at his heels. Genesis leaves their home town taking Angeal with him. Banora is destroyed via airstrike and both Angeal and Genesis presumed dead, they ofcourse are not.
Genesis is next seen arriving in Midgar with Angeal and Hollender, while speaking lines of LOVELESS as usual. Sephiroth and Zack enter the scene and Sephiroth comments on how Genesis hadn't changed a bit. Genesis then compares the trio to LOVELESS once more saying that Angeal is being chased, Genesis himself would take flight, and Sephiroth would be left the hero. Genesis then question who will be the hero, to which Sephiroth replies that Genesis can be the Hero.
In the next phase of Genesis plan, both he and Angeal arrive at Hojo's lab, where both Zack and Hojo wait. Genesis plans on killing Hojo, but Angeal stops him. Genesis once more qoutes a line from LOVELESS prompting Hojo to state that he remembered it and it was old. Angeal asked if there was an end to which Hojo stated that it was not known. But Genesis states that there is, and asked what the gift of the goddess means for them. He then takes flight and Angeal and Zack chase after Genesis, but he anticipates this and cuts Zack off with a summon.
Genesis moves to a warehouse in Modeoheim, at this point his degridation is severly affecting his appearance. He beleives that the only way to stop the degridation at this point is to absorb Jenova cells. He attempts to find the gift of the goddess by recreating the world of LOVELESS. Angry with the degridation he attempts to kill Hollender, but Zack disarms him before he can strike the final blow. Hollender tells Genesis that he does not know where the Jenova cells are kept. Genesis tells him that he will keep degrading then, and Hollender flees the with Cloud at his heels. Genesis duels Zack and loses, allowing himself to fall into an abyss and be presumed dead, again.
His armies resurface and begin attacking Shinra across the planet. He let's himself be seen, very much alive, by Zack on the Canon at Junon with a banora white during the sunset before moving onward.
Genesis preocupies Zack while he is on a mission with Sephiroth and seperates the two. While seperated he informs Sephiroth of his past telling him that he is the biggest monster of all. This is what eventually pushes Sephiroth into his researching and eventual madness. Genesis ask Sephiroth for some of his cells to halt the degridation, but Sephiroth refuses.
Four years later, after Zack and Cloud escape from the Shinra Mansions Labritory, Genesis cuts them off, knowing that Zack carries Jenova cells. He tells the two that these are the gift of the Goddess and with them his degridation will stop. However one of Genesis clones consume a lock of Zacks hair and mutate into a monster, telling Genesis that Zack is a failed experiment.
Cloud and Zack head to Gongoga, but Genesis clones head them off. In an attempt to capture Cloud Genesis and Hollender arrive. As they grab hold of him and take flight. Zack attempts to stop them, but Genesis intervenes and and taunts the young SOLDIER. Fed up with his games zack lunges at Genesis, but Genesis takes to the skies and heads back to Banora.
Zack, ofcourse, finds him in beneath Banora where Genesis had previously located the Goddess materia. Zack tells him that he wants to help him, but Genesis absorbs the lifestream and transfroms into a moster. Zack takes him out and he returns to a human form, undegridated. He then prompts Zack for one more battle as a man who had regained his honor. Zack ofcourse beats the weakened Genesis and he returns to the lifestream. There th Goddess grants Genesis what he had always wanted, perfection and turns her head away as if she where saying he had much to learn. Zack carries Genesis out into the helicopter and he shares a Banora white with Zack and Lazard, whom he thinks is Angeal, before passing out.
After these events Genesis was brought to Deepground by Weiss and Nero in hopes that he would join them, but he declines and seals himself within the flooded caverns of Midgar. Being the only one of the trio left alive, he hopes to seal himself away incase the world needed him. However he is awoken early after a shockwave sent sent from Weiss' body.
Genesis now returns to the world, much more powerful than he was before, ready to be it's Hero.
Abilities:
Genesis is a powerful magic user, His magical prowess on par with that of Sephiroth maybe even greater. He is also highly intelligent able to inact complex plans in mere moments.
Genesis can also pass his traits on to other to make them his "clones" the retain some of there own abilities with his own thrown in. They are much weaker than Genesis himself.
Summons: He is highly adept at summoning so he can summon quite alot of different monsters.
Magic: Genesis can use all forms of magic.
Strengths: Magic and intellegence are his strong points.
Weaknesses: Genesis is physicaly weaker than Angeal.
Weapon The Savior of the World
Genesis' rapier is made of Goddess Materia and is able to absorb the magical elements of any spell cast on it, augmenting it. He can also just use mana to strengthen it multiple times.

His hair danced about his face as the wind began to blow. Brushing it aside he looked up from the book he was reading, Loveless ofcourse, to see a figure approuching him. Closing it he tucked it away in the pocket of his coat. He smiled before speaking, "Come for a little practice?" The man smiled back at him.
"I thought you were still alive Genesis." Angeal his old friend laughed.
"I can't beleive you think I'd be outed so easily!" He replied pretending to be hurt. He stood up and stretched his body before kneeling down to pick up his red blade. Angeal in reponse drew out his own sword.
Genesis stood, his blade pointing at Angeal and took the first step. With a twist he slashed at Angeal, whom easily deflected it. Angeal rebounded with a sweep at the feet, but Genesis took to the air. Landing he dashed forward and the two began swapping blows. Most of there spars often continued for hours like this, but today Genesis was going to end it early. He flicked his wrist in an attempt to disarm Angeal, but he expected it and reversed it knocking Genesis rapier from his hand. Angeal pointed the blade at Genesis face.
"Looks like the hero has lost." Angeal smiled. Genesis reach up and grabbed the blade, his hand aflame with a spell and melted the swords tip.
"We'll call it a draw, old friend." Genesis said picking up his blade and stepping away. "To spare the sands, the seas, the skies, I offer thee this silent sacrifice." Genesis voice trailed as he walked away.
