Standing at a height of 6.2 feet, he is an intimidating figure. Sleek, silver hair runs down his back, ending just below his waist. This hair always has a healthy look to it, and is blown about by the slightest breeze. Greenish-blue, cat-like eyes shine with Mako Energy; searching and always alert. On either shoulder, a group of three armor plates protect his shoulders. He wears an black, ankle-length overcoat made of leather. Leather, black gloves are worn consistantly. Underneth he wears high-waisted pants; they appear to be SOLDIER 1st class slacks. Across his exposed chest, two strips of leather form an X shape; securing his garb. Black leather boots reach up to just past his knees.
While he often appears weaponless, anyone who knows the Hero will be well aware that he is never unarmed. He can call his sword, a Masamune, out of seemingly nothing quickly. This ten foot long sword is handled with mastered ease by its owner's left hand. The blade almost constantly glows with an inner purple light, evidence that it is infused with magic. From his right shoulder, a massive feathered wing protrudes. It is black, neat, and soft; and has a full wingspan of 6ft.
Personality:
Sephiroth is a man of few words, who prefers to let his sword do the talking. He is a serious man who will do anything to accomplish his goals. He was once the most famous and respected SOLDIER 1st class, and the lead Hero of Midgar. All his life, however, he knew he was different from everyone else, and spent endless hours researching. Eventually, he learned about his past; what he was, how he was made, and what was he made for. From then on, he became the worst enemy of the planet. He had no feelings, he hated everything. He is truly evil. Sephiroth is an intelligent man, and thinks before he acts, usually. He plans ahead often, so that he can always have a plan if something comes up.
Sephiroth doesn't judge, preferring to destroy whoever stands in his way at first sight. He is heartless and cold. those who anger him become a target, and he will hunt those unfortunate souls down; at his own convenience. Secretive and always alert, he conceals himself with shadows to avoid detection, His mood shifts chose to be irregular and strange. He may be calm and composed one moment, then a raging monster who strikes quickly and silently. He shows no mercy, apart from a few exceptions. If he runs into a select few people, he leaves them be; unwilling to harm them without good reason. Sephiroth tends to enjoy his prey's suffering before finishing them off. He plays with his food, one might say. But when his patience is tried, that is when he strikes without warning, intending to kill at once.
History:
When Sephiroth was younger, he used to sneak into the Training Room of SOLDIER, along with his friends; Genesis and Angeal. They would train together, and learn new skills. Then one day, Genesis, who was envious of Sephiroth’s skills and his rank as a Hero, challenged Sephiroth to an intense battle. Genesis and Sephiroth launched into a battle, no longer sparring. They began to wreak destruction in the training room while fighting. Angeal, conscious of the danger, tried multiple times to halt the fight, and failed. Eventually, Angeal forced his way between Sephiroth and Genesis, and the battle ceased. Genesis had been wounded in the duel, which resulted in a Mako-soaked wound. Hojo, the doctor at that time, told Sephiroth and Angeal that a transplant was needed. Angeal became the donor, and that was when Sephiroth started to feel like he was different from the rest. Why couldn’t he be the donor? Was something wrong with him?
After those events, Sephiroth become still less social, and more solitary. His fame grew as he continued impressing the world with his skills, but all the time, he knew he was… unique. Then the day came when Genesis vanished on a mission. Angeal and the young SOLDIER operative, Zack Fair, were sent to attack a Wutai base. It was a successful attack, and it was in the forest surrounding the base that Sephiroth first met Zack. Zack was a great admirer of Sephiroth, and he wanted to be like the great Hero. In the forest, the first Genesis Copies were found, leading to an uproar in SOLDIER. Angeal vanished in the forest, and a search went up to find both Genesis, and Angeal. Then a sighting of Angeal and Genesis brought a mission to Sephiroth and Zack. Sephiroth refused to accept the mission, not wanting to fight his old friends. Zack went out on the mission instead, and his faith in Sephiroth faltered. Eventually, he found Angeal, and was forced to fight his mentor. In the end, Angeal was defeated, and the Buster sword was passed onto Zack. Genesis had disappeared, again.
A short while later, a report came in that talked about a malfunction in one of the Mako reactors. Sephiroth and Zack were sent on the mission, to find the cause of the malfunction and fix it. They arrived at Nibelheim, and spent the night there. Zack had befriended a Shinra infantry man, Cloud, earlier, and Cloud had been sent on the mission with Zack and Sephiroth. The next morning, they set out, following Tifa, who was their guide, to the reactor. Sephiroth and Zack entered the reactor, and soon found the cause of the Malfunction. There was however, something far more pressing to deal with then. A room labeled, “Jenova”, attracted Zack’s attention. Sephiroth had mentioned Jenova earlier. Sephiroth once more began to suspect his difference from everyone else. When they returned to Nibelheim, Sephiroth vanished into the Shinra Manor, and wasn’t seen for many days. Sephiroth barricaded himself in the basement of the manor, researching, studying every book. It was then that he realized what he was, how he was made, and what was he made for. He was a monster; bred from Jenova, another monster; and bred as an experiment with Jenova cells. He was one of many offspring from Jenova, and the most perfect one at that. Sephiroth began to grow cold. He started to hate Shinra, and then hated the whole world. He became determined to rule and destroy the world, just as his mother had tried long ago.
Sephiroth set fire to Nibelheim, and returned to the reactor to free his mother. Zach, betrayed and hurt, pursued Sephiroth to the reactor, followed by Cloud and Tifa. In the reactor, Sephiroth nearly killed Tifa, and struck down Zack, wounding him. Cloud then took up the Buster sword, and ran it through Sephiroth. Sephiroth, enraged and holding Jenova’s head, turned and fought Cloud. He was thrown into the reactor itself after a short encounter with Cloud, and he wasn’t seen for many years.
Sephiroth was not dead though. He rose once more, killing a Shinra director, haunting Cloud’s footsteps, controlling Cloud. Cloud teamed up with others, and a great chase began. Sephiroth’s goal was to destroy the world, and nearly did so. He got hold of the Black Materia by manipulating Cloud. He probed the world’s deepest secrets, growing in knowledge. Soon, Sephiroth found the “promised Land”, a place that overflowed with Mako energy. Using the power of the Black Materia, Sephiroth summoned ancient Weapons, and called Meteor, just as Jenova had done. Deep in Northern Cave, he was destroyed by Cloud and his friends. The world used the Lifestream to destroy Meteor, and brought peace.
Evil never dies though. Two years later, the remnants of Jenova and Sephiroth, began to search for Jenova, talking about a “Reunion”. Geostigma racked the bodies of children, and Cloud. The Stigma was an invitation to the reunion, and the kids began to vanish. Cloud, who had withdrawn into solitude after he saved the world from Sephiroth, was forced to step foreword yet again. He pursues the children and remnants, intending to free the kinds and halt the Reunion. Cloud was too late though. He reached the remnants, but the Reunion had begun. Kadaj, the lead remnant, used the remains of Jenova, and Sephiroth rose again. Using Kadaj’s body to support his own, Sephiroth dueled with Cloud, nearly becoming the victor. In the end, Cloud defeated Sephiroth, and said, “Stay where you belong, in my memories.” Sephiroth replied, “I will… Never be a memory.” Then he vanished, Leaving Kadaj half dead to be claimed by the Lifestream. Sephiroth hasn’t been seen since then, but he plans to return, to finally put an end to Cloud, and the world.

Role Play Sample: This will be how Sephiroth rises from the dead, again.
The Lifestream... It ran deep within the planet, silent, unkown by many. Bright strings of color, focused mostly on greens and blues, glowed in the surrounding darkness; flowing in every direction. Life came from here, and always returned when its time on the planet was up. It was peaceful, and no sound could be heard. Transparent and unseen spirits wandered the silent trails of light.
One figure, taller than most, was much more solid. He walked quickly and with purpose, soon leaving the main area of the Lifestream. He headed along an almost deserted path. The lights beneath his feet began moving much more rapidly; alomost agitated, every few feet; as if it were headed towards a waterfall.
The lights reflected an image of the 6.2 ft tall man. Clad entirly in black, he was hard to see. He wore black pants with knee-high boots. Two black strips of leather crossed his bare chest. An ankle-length black overcoat fluttered lightly with his pace. A long, thick strand of light spiraled around his head, reflecting a handsome, yet serious and cruel, face with unaturally blue eyes; eyes infused with Mako Energy. The light strand was broken when a single, large, black, feathered wing swept through it; a right wing.
The man continued walking, and the lights beneath his feet moved still more quickly. Suddenly, he stopped, a looked up at a pillar of light which had just emerged from the darkness. He was alone, as this area in the Lifestream was well hidden; therefore, deserted. His long, silver hair which fell past his waist, fluttered in a nonexistant breeze. A female voice echoed through the darkness, "So, you have found a way, Sephiroth?" The voice had a slight hiss to it, and it seemed to radiate evil, a lust for revenge.
The man, Sephiroth, replied in a low voice, "Yes, I have, Mother. This is one of the few places where the Lifestream rises to the planet's surface. I can go up from here."
"Very good. I want you to finish what I started. Try not to fail, again." The voice, whom Sephiroth called 'Mother', replied.
Sephiroth nodded, and the voice of his mother faded. His eyes rose to the pillar of light. It was made up of thousands of strings of Lifestream. He started forward, and soon, he stood before it. Spreading his wing, the monster rose into the air. He looked at the pillar a moment longer, then plunged into it.
Sephiroth was surrounded by green and blue lights, and felt himself rising quickly, carried by the upward current. Suddenly, he found himself at the bottom of a large pond of Lifestream. He flapped his wing, and rose to the surface. He reached the top, and broke through, barely making a splash or a sound. He felt the sun's warmth, and looked around at the small town of Mideel. The sunlight glinted coldly off the three plates of armor he wore on each shoulder. A ten foot long sword, a Masamune, was held in his left hand.
Sephiroth looked down at the town. People were starting to gather around the Lifestream pool, staring up at the strange, winged man hovering there. Then the screaming started as the citizens of Mideel began to recognize him. He heard people yelling "The Nightmare returning", as well as "The One-Winged Angel". He remembered those terms that reffered to him from his past time on the planet.
As the uproar grew, Sephiroth decided what to do. At the moment, he wanted to hunt down and destroy Cloud and his friends, but it was too soon. Plus, he didn't even know where they were. Then he remembered. Cosmo Canyon. Perhaps he would be able to catch up with what had happened while he was gone.
Sephiroth beat his wing, leaving a few black feathers behind, and left the terrified town. In a short while, he arrived at Cosmo Canyon. Alighting at the very top of the canyon, he hid himself in the shadows. Then he looked down into the canyon, beginning to seek his information. He didn't notice another one of his feathers had fallen, and was now on the canyon floor, next to the roaring fire.
