Appearance: Hojo is a slender man who stands around six feet tall and is approximately around the weight of 160 or so. His hair is long and black, he has it tied into a ponytail. Two long strands of hair are before his ears. He wears a white lab coat and shirt with a dark blue tie. His pants are black slacks and has black boots. His skin is fair and eyes are deep brown.
Personality: The personality that Hojo has about him is very insane, so much that it is said he cares for nothing at all. His love for his work would make him do anything for a test subject. He is very dedicated to his work to the point of killing people to get what he wants. He has no loyalty and will destroy anyone that gets in his way. Those around him say he may or may not care for anyone; in truth he cares only for himself and his own gain. He cares little of what he does to anyone, ever if it means messing up someone's life. He doesn't care at all.
He is very obsessive about his work for ShinRa as a scientist. He has no regard for moral standards. To be honest he could care less of what others think of him. When new theories and ideas come around he becomes curious as to what the are - mainly to aid him in his advancing work. He treats people as they might be future test subjects. He has a god-like complex - thinking he is invulnerable and the highest of the high in social status. He has no empathy and does not care for anther's suffering; if he is able to have the chance he, himself will cause their suffering.
History: Not much is known of Hojo prior to the JENOVA project. He was working with Prof. Hollander, a scientist named Lucrecia, and possibly Prof. Gast on the JENOVA project that they had been assigned to. Their main goal in the project was creating Humans with the powers of the Ancients. It was said that by injecting cells from the being called Jenova into an unborn it would have extraordinary power over the Ancient blood line. At the time Lucrecia was with Vincent Valentine till she blamed herself for his father's death.
She left him and went to Hojo and had a relationship with him in which she became pregnant with the one later known as Sephiroth. He and Lucrecia gave their unborn son to the project as a test subject. He began to inject her with Jenova's very cells while pregnant with Sephiroth. Vincent objected to this procedure and ended up getting shot by the man scientist Hojo. After he did that he did numerous experiments on Vincent's body and later sealed him in a coffin under the manor of ShinRa.
Gast had abandoned his workings on the project due to a forming of guilt. Hojo then was put as the charge of ShinRa's science research division. As well as all of the JENOVA project experiments. His experiments increased immorally around the areas of Nibelheim and later on in his work building of SHinRa. Each used the unwilling test subjects other than Vincent. Cloud, Zack, and even Red XIII wee involved in the experiments. Much later his experiments used Jenova cells leading to "copies" of Sephiroth -not clones just similar experiments done on other things-
Later on Hojo was defeated by the vigilante group, AVALANCHE and was seemingly killed. Vincent and Yuffie were evacuating Midgar when he detected a faint sign of life where Hojo was stopped at. He went and saw that Hojo lay sprawled over the console with the screen saying "Start Fragment Program". And after looking away Hojo was gone. He was left hardly alive and found a way through a quick search to put him into a state of comatose as his health came back. Three years passed him and now he is awake and at full health. His secret to it is unknown.

Role Play Sample: The silence of the day was not to be tolerated as Hojo worked in his lab, ordering a few lesser pupils around. His glasses slipped down his nose and pushed it up with his fingers as he picked up a clip board and scanned through the contents as he contemplated on his works. He then left the room and went to his desk and sat down in the chair as he began to do some paper work. It was a hassle but worth it all. His new project -so far- was a success. He knew it would be hours before he could get rest though. And it would be entirely worth the no sleep.
Five hours ticked away at the clock and he was still working. Walking back and forth keeping an eye on the lesser and inferior scientists. They were getting tired but he didn't care. He wanted this perfect in every way and very presentable. His employer would love his work and he knew it. His dark grin and dark lined eyes from sleep deprivation made him look like a tyrant ordering slaves around. The other scientists were his slaves.
