As Cid came down from his jump, he swung his spear, hitting the punk who asked him to give up his ship in the side, causing him to fly a bit to the side and fall flat on the ground. Cid landed and twirled his spear around with one hand. As he glared, he looked around, seeing the huge hole in the wall that these terrorist made from some crude bomb. A few were still standing near the hole they made, and Cid glared at them.
"You think that's a bomb?! I'll show you a bomb!" Cid said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his lighter. Lighting a cigarette, he put his lighter back in his pocket, only to pull out a stick of dynamite. Lighting the fuse with his cigarette, Cid threw it at the group near the hole in the wall, and once it landed it made a large explosion, causing the terrorist near the wall to go flying in many directions.
With the terrorist inside the building distracted by the dynamite, Cid waved his hand at the crew, motioning for them to get on The Shera. Nodding at him, they all crawled up the rope ladder and got inside, pulling the ladder up. Now his crew was safe and the Terrorist had no way of taking his airship.
"Damn it!" One of the Terrorist said once he noticed that the crew safely made it on the ship. "Good luck doing anything now, you bunch of $#!&%!" Cid said, getting the attention of all the terrorist. Enraged, one of them pointed at Cid, causing them all to take aim with there guns. Cid smirked, and cupped his mouth.
"Now get out of here! Get somewhere safe!" Cid yelled to his crew. The senior co pilot shook his head. "But captain! What about yo-" He cried, only to get cut off by Cid. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine! Get yer ass to that captains chair and get the crew to safety! Yer' the only one I trust flying my ship!" Cid said, taking a drag of his cigarette and smirking. The co pilot didn't want to, but he listened to his captain, running to the captains chair. "We'll get you some help captain!" One of the crew members yelled as the airship started taking off.
The terrorist started shooting at the Shera as it took off, only to find there bullets didn't hurt it. Cid flicked his cigarette to the ground, twirling his spear and pointing at the group of terrorist. "I'm still ere', let's party ya' punks!" Cid said with a big grin. Angered, the terrorist started shooting at him.
Running to gain momentum, Cid jumped high in the air to avoid the gunfire. "Have a taste of my Dragon Dive!" Cid said with a big smirk. And with that, Cid prepared the attack as the Shera flew off to safety.

Worried something serious had happened, Nanaki ran at break neck speed. The canine-lion creature moved swiftly. If he didn't, he wasn't sure how Cid would fair on his own. Well, Cid wasn't a push over but there sounded like a lot of trouble on the other end. Red XIII wouldn't fail his friend in need as he hurried up to Rocket Town.
It wasn't long before Nanaki found himself astride the Bucking Bronco again. Since this wasn't the airship he had been accustomed to, Nanaki was finding himself very uneasy. Last time he rode this thing, it crashed into the sea and they had been forced to use it like some sort of speed boat. Also, the person driving it made Red XIII uneasy too. Whomever this new recruit was, it was obvious Cid hadn't yet trusted him with flying on his airship just yet and it looked like for a very good reason.
Clinging to his own seat with his claws, Nanaki prayed that he wasn't about to become a part of the Lifestream yet as the person piloting the airplane cheered. Nanaki's stomach gave a flip as the guy had it do a loop in the air as well. 'This human will be the death of me!' Nanaki thought worriedly, clinging to his seat as best he could despite already having been strapped in.
There couldn't have been a time where Red XIII really wished their destination would be close at hand as they traveled over the land. If Yuffie was motion sick, she'd be even worse right now with a driver as horrible as the one Nanaki had currently. By the sound of the guy's ecstatic cheers, he had to be an adrenaline junky. Poor Nanaki's fur was standing all on end.
When they finally reached Junon where it was rumored that Cid had been last. Nanaki's tail was standing on end along with his fur. Landing hadn't been the most pleasant thing for the creature. In fact, never before had he worried for his life then. Yet somehow, the crazy crew member had touched down and they were alive. As for the Bucking Bronco, Nanaki could've sworn he saw a wheel pass him by on the ground when clambering out.
Nanaki's legs shook a bit as the inexperienced pilot said he'd wait for him there. "O-Okay!" Nanaki stammered, not really sure if he liked the idea of flying back home with him. Red XIII was certain Cid wouldn't be pleased to find his Bucking Bronco damaged a bit either. Hopefully, Cid would be rescued in time and Nanaki could ride with him on the Shera instead.
Sniffing the air, Nanaki let his animal senses search for Cid. Sure enough, amidst all the stench of pollution and other human stink, he found Cid's scent. Following it, Nanaki ran. As he did so, he noticed something flying low overhead and looked up. There was an airship and not just any airship! It was the Shera! Cid couldn't be that much farther away!
With a new sense of urgency, Red XIII ran faster, his nose helping him pinpoint Cid's where abouts as he ran. Sure enough, he skidded to a halt. The scent lead upwards and Nanaki hurried over to the elevator he had used some time ago. Pushing the button with his wet nose, Red XIII waited as the doors closed. By the time it reached the top, Nanaki felt like time wasn't going to wait any longer as he once again hastened his pace.
Once again, he was forced to halt before pinpointing the scent. It lead outside onto the loading docks! Cid must be there! Determined, Nanaki busted the door down and looked in shock at what he found. There were men fighting against one Cid. There were so many of them that Nanaki was reminded of the incident in Edge. Seeing his friend in need, Red XIII's muzzle crinkled as he bared his teeth in anger. Letting out a furious roar, he lunged for the first person he reached that wasn't Cid, his teeth and claws tearing at what part he could find.

As Cid finished his series of strikes from his Dragon Dive, he managed to take out six more of the terrorist. These men had the fear of god in them, wondering exactly what kind of force they were dealing with. Cid landed and smirked, spinning his spear with one hand and holding a hand out at the enemies. "You picked the wrong pilot to mess with!" He said with a bloodthirsty grin. Suddenly, Cid was greeted by a friendly site, something he was very happy to see.
A flash of orange-red color, Cid made out the familiar markings and fur. It was Nanaki! He showed up when Cid needed an ally most. The powerful beast attacked one of the terrorist instantly. Cid pumped his fist, and ran closer, swiping his spear at a man who had his gun aimed at Nanaki, knocking him off his feet before he could shoot his friend. Cid grinned and gave Nanaki a thumbs up.
"Well, am I happy to see you!" Cid said with a big grin. Not having time for a happy reunion however, the remaining Terrorist decided to charge at the two of them. "Come on men, give em' everything we have!" One of them yelled. Looking over at Nanaki, Cid smirked. "Time to show these guys that they're messing with the wrong guys." Cid was with a big grin. It was true too. They battled and defeated monsters, Shinra, and Sephiroth, Jenova, and Sephiroth's clones. These guys were no match.
With that said, Cid ran forward. As the men started shooting, Cid jumped high in the air dodging the bullets, he then landed hard on one of them, causing an explosion that sent many of the other men flying. That was his Hyper Jump. Upon landing, Cid started nimbly swinging his spear, taking out any would be attackers. With Nanaki on his side, these men had no chance.

Red XIII let out another wrathful roar as he finished mauling his first target. Hearing Cid's voice, Nanaki looked over at him and gave him a smirk. Nodding his head once, Nanaki showed he was wordlessly just as happy to help Cid in this situation as well as thankful for him having stopped a terrorist from shooting him. Focusing his amber colored eye on the enemies, Nanaki stood proud and poised. His tail stood up straight and his fur stood on end as he bared his teeth and growled. No one would hurt Cid when he was around! Nanaki would make sure of that!
Looking at one of the remaining leaders of the terrorist group, Nanaki merely flicked an ear in slight annoyance. He was a fool to take on Cid and Nanaki. The two had been through a lot more than this gang of terrorists. After Sephiroth and Jenova, this was nothing! Nanaki was a warrior worthy to be Seto's son!
Glancing in Cid's direction as he spoke up, Nanaki gave a swift nod in response. "Right!" he stated before dashing towards the enemies. As he did so, he quickened his space in place as a blue aura swirled about him in three branches. As it circled him and moved more rapidly, Nanaki moved in the blink of an eye. So much more rapid was his pace that if someone blinked, they would have missed it. Before they knew it, four men found themselves overwhelmed by the sudden speed and found themselves injured with claw marks running along their torso.
Turning about to face what enemies were left, Nanaki prowled like a great predator stalking its prey, his teeth bared. His amber eye narrowed as he faced off the remainder of the terrorist group. Some were smart enough to back away and make a run for it where others were too stupid and tried attacking the dog-lion. Leaping into the air, not nearly as high as Cid, Nanaki dived down at those who shot at him. Snarling, he managed to sink his teeth into one of the men who quailed in pain. Dropping his gun, Nanaki soon used his back legs to kick out at the man as he let go of him, sending him flying into two other men. Seeing them struggle to get up as he approached them, Nanaki let out a loud roar as they ran for their lives.

As Cid and Nanaki tore through the enemies, eventually, only one was left. Walking up to him, Cid picked him up by the collar and slammed him into the wall. "You're gonna tell me right now why you and your !%?@?! pals wanted with MY airship!" The captain said. The mans face turned white, but he turned his head. "No way in h-hell am I telling you!" He said. Cid reached back and punched him in the gut. "Choose wisely!" He said with a death glare. The man trembled in Cid's grip, but decided to talk.
"...For our boss. The world has been so destroyed...the only way to truly fix it is to wipe out all life so the planet has time to truly heal...People like the Shinra will always be there to slowly kill it.." He said. Cid, taken aback by that statement, let the man go. Extremist. That's what this group was. As the man slid to the floor, he coughed up a bit of blood from the wounds from battle. Cid looked down at him, frowning.
"Where is your base?" He stated. The man didn't respond. Cid kicked him and the man grunted. "...Try Corel." He simply stated, before passing out from his wounds. Cid cursed under his breath and took a few steps away, looking past the hole in the wall. The Shera wasn't too far off. He knew he had to do something. Looking over at Nanaki, he knew he heard the conversation with his advanced hearing.
"...Can I count on your help with this?" The captain stated, looking at his friend. Through everything, they were heroes. Cid couldn't let these extremist get away with this. Who knew what they would do next? Hell, Cid didn't even know the name of the group. The only clue he had was the town of Corel.

Nanaki fought with valor. Eventually, he and Cid managed to cut the numbers down to just one remaining enemy. Seeing Cid grab hold of the man, Red XIII stood idly by. He would observe the situation and give aid when he was needed. Speaking of which, he checked their surroundings, turning his massive animal head about to look. No one else was around trying to spring a surprise, cowardly attack on them from what he could see. Smelling the air, Nanaki found his observation was correct. It was just the three of them now.
Turning his attention back over to Cid, he could hear what he was asking. Honestly, Cid deserved an answer and when someone didn't give it, he got nasty. Standing poised, in case he was needed, Red XIII listened closely to all that was being said. Unlike a human, his sense of hearing was quite powerful. At the distance he was at, he could hear the human quite clearly as he spoke to Cid.
Apparently, from what had been said, the guy was a part of a group that plotted on getting everyone killed. Red XIII knew there was no use talking sense into this man as he looked over at Cid next. He knew Cid would want to put a stop to that just as much as Nanaki would. Where they were both heroes, they had enough sense that even if they didn't want to play the hero, they had to in order to live and fight the next day.
"Extremists...Corel..." he muttered to himself before Cid finally spoke to him. The captain was asking if he would want to help him out and come along. After all the times Cid had helped him out, Red XIII could never tell him no. Neither would Nanaki ever say no to a friend asking for help. The red lion-wolf creature had honor and loyalty deeply embedded into his heart. It was the way of a warrior and a true hero as well as a true friend.
"Yes, I shall accompany you in this."

Cid smirked at Nanaki. His beast like companion said yes. He knew he would. There was nothing that could break the team apart. Scratching his chin, Cid wondered if they should get any help. Te two of them were powerful, but they were unstoppable with a whole team. He wondered. Cid had played leader before and he seemed to fall right back into the role. "Thanks, Nanaki." He said with a smirk. "I knew I could count on you, let's go." He said, nodding and smirking at his friend.
As the two walked out to the docks, Cid looked in horror, his jaw dropping and a cigarette falling to the ground. He saw that no good rookie pilot sitting next to the Tiny Bronco, which was clearly scratched up.
""No good $%@#!# kid! What the hell was he thinking!!!" Cid yelled, running towards the kid as the Shera docked nearby.
"Hey Captain..." The rookie said. Cid sneered but managed to hold his tongue..for the most part. "Damnit, ya' numbskull! Get on the Shera and tell Ralph to get out here." He demanded. The pilot agreed, and ran inside the Shera. Ralph was one of the senior pilots, Cid was going to have hi fly the Tiny Bronco back to Rocket Town. Eventually, Ralph came back.
"Get her back home." Cid said. Ralph nodded. "Yes sir, Captain!" Ralph said, getting in the plane. Cid looked on and smiled as Ralph flew off with good skill. These guys were Cids students pretty much. They all admired him. Cid watched out for them. Walking over to Nanaki, the captain nodded.
"Let's get to the ship, pal." He said with a grin. Lighting a new cigarette, Cid walked towards the Shera with his beast like companion.

Nanaki looked over at Cid when he thanked him. It was nothing, really. Red XIII would fight for his friends regardless of what happened. He was an honorable fighter. "You are welcome, Cid." Red XII meant it too. He greatly respected the captain and would help him any chance he got.
Hearing the suggestion they head off, Nanaki nodded and followed him out. They returned to where the Tiny Bronco was landed. The memory of the flight unnerved Red XIII. He didn't have to fly in that thing again, did he? He really hoped not as he looked nervously over at Cid when he took in the sight of the thing with the rookie pilot.
Nanaki remained silent as Cid told the rookie to go and get someone by the name of Ralph. Seeing Cid order the more experienced pilot to take the Tiny Bronco home, Nanaki watched the pilot take off with it.
"I am relieved that I do not have to fly in that anymore with that other pilot!" he told Cid.
He nodded when Cid stated they head to the ship. Padding swiftly along side Cid, they were headed for the Shera.

.:Materia Ninja:. Alright, who's been touching my Materia? Walking around in Junon, looking for Materia, was one fo Yuffie's favorite pasttimes. Th idea that she could possibly find something new and unique always brought a large, bright smile to her face, as she tightened her head band, and raised her fist into the air, getting pumped immediately. But, that happiness and excitement was soon outlived when she heard gunfire off into the distance, and she looked off into the distance to see an airship. That was weird. She figured she would just ignore it all and keep ooking for Materia. It didn't affect her...right? Finally, curiosity overtook Yuffie and she shot off, at breakneck speed, to go check out what was going on. Once she got closer, she could hear more gunfire, and shouting, until finally it all seemed to quiet down.
Once she got over a certain ridge, she as able to look down and see something that both excited her, and made her stomach do a double flip inside her. It was the Shera. Cid's ariship. Which meant...Yuffie spanned her eyes across the valley below until she finally caught her eyes on two figures. One had a lance in hand, a blue shirt, and a familiar stream of smoke coming from the location of his mouth. The other was red and looked much like a lion. She started to jump up and down, waving her arms above her head. The shuriken that was placed on her back, jumped and down slightly along with her.
"Hey guys! Up here! It's me, Yuffie!"
She didn't wait for a reply, as she jumped down from the ledge, and skidded her way down. Once she reached the end she ended up running again, until she was in front of them. She was slightly out of breath, but that still couldn't stop her from showing her excitement at seeing the two.
"Cid! Nanaki! I heard the gunfire and I couldn't help but come over and find out what was going on. Mind on filling me in on this?"Words: 436 Muse: Good Notes: Hope that was okay. ^^
