Super SoldierI am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight. This was fun…a change in scenery and everything. Both Josh and Repa seemed to be quiet, they really didn’t know what to say. It’s not like they knew this sort of way to live, so better keep their mouths shut rather than saying something they shouldn’t. But when Ebony said they lived in sewers, the look on Josh’s face, and probably Repa’s too...PRICELESS! He raised an eyebrow as he continued to follow Ebony from behind before trying to think of what to say. “Erm…Well this should be interesting.” Josh whispered back to his sister as he cut his pace down a bit, letting Ebony take more of a leave just in case he wanted to make a few more outsider comments, nothing mean, he just didn’t understand. So long as PSICOM wasn’t around, this should be okay. Josh was positive it’d be a fun experience. Repa was probably getting impatient or something, Josh just went with his initial plan. Keep your mouth shut. Once arriving at the house, Josh wasn’t sure this was the best place for kids to be living, his heart went out to them, really it did. He followed in slowly, almost feeling like he was on a soldier mission, but really he had been through a lot worse, this was just very different for a prince like him. “This place…are you sure its okay for these kids to be living-“ But he was cut off by the cheers of little kids yelling at Ebony, calling her big sis. Josh looked down at the kids and a smile appeared on his face, rags or no rags, they were adorable. He knew how these kids could get away with almost anything now, their cuteness would help them escape being accused of a pickpocketer. He reached his hand behind his back and felt his gunblade still there, just to make sure. “It’s a pleasure to be here.” He said kneeling down to the kids at their own eye level. “Is Ebony a good sister to you kids?” He said happily glancing up at Ebony, trying to be friendly and what not was key for this. He just jumped right in trying to converse with these orphans and try to be a friend to them. (will post repa later tonight.)

Princess at Heart” Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa just huffed out a sigh as they kept walking, of course the talk of sewers made her look down at her outfit. Thank goodness she stuck with the usual ‘adventure attire.’ She wore torn jeans tucked into black leather boots and a black tshirt covered by a red tight jacket for warmth. At least she hadn’t worn something she was incredibly in love with otherwise this might be bad. Though her facial expression didn’t seem to happy about the whole sewer thing, she kept quiet as Josh’s face was probably the most reactant, thought Repa’s thoughts were probably a lot louder. “Oh. That’s…cool.” She shrugged before Josh dropped back to her pace and whispered to her, all she did was nod in response and fold her arms across her chest, continuing to follow behind Ebony as they made their way to an…old not so pleasant looking house. With a wrinkled nose Repa followed still, almost walking a bit faster to keep up pace with Ebony and Josh. Walking inside the kids ran up to Ebony, like family…and instantly Repa’s dislike for this place melted away. Her heart sank as she looked at these kids, so adorable they were…but look at how they were living! Did they get at least one meal every day? This made her feel like a spoiled brat…a stuck up princess, the way most people figured she should be. With that depressing thought, Repa’s eyes sank to the ground before glancing at Ebony. “Ebony…I want to help these kids out…” She said quietly before looking at the kids infront of her, everytime she looked at them her heart dropped a bit more with sorrow. “I want…them to have better living conditions…meals etc…I’m going to help.” She said with a smile crossing her face a bit.

Black Researcher Let's get this over with so that I can get back to work. Ebony couldn't help but let out a laugh at the obvious attitude of the children. It was always like this. Everytime she visited. And she never got tired of it. She loved these kids. They were her family. She picked up one of the toddlers and walked in the room, pushing some of the closer ones near her legs forward as well, moving the little reunion "inside." They were firing off questions with bullet like speed, and she answered as fast as she could. A smile had quickly appeared on her face when she saw Josh kneel down and talk to the kids, but she wondered what was wrong with Repa. “It’s a pleasure to be here. Is Ebony a good sister to you kids?”Some of the children broke off from the large group around Ebony and walked over to Josh, who was smiling warmly at them. They looked up at him, before turning to each other, grinned, and punced onto the poor soldier. Ebony could only chuckle and shake her head. "I warned you."“Ebony…I want to help these kids out…I want…them to have better living conditions…meals etc…I’m going to help.”She quickly turned towards Repa who was looked at her with a confident look on her face and a small smile on her lips. Ebony couldn't help but let her eyes grow wide, and become speechless. No one had ever told her they wanted to help. No one. "Repa...I don't know what to say...except...thank you. That means a lot. To all of us."The orphans cheered, and some of the girls even ran over and hugged Repa's legs with smiles wide. Even Ebony held a genuine smile, one that seemed to reach her eyes.

Super SoldierI am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight.Josh smiled at the scene, all the kids seemed really happy to see Ebony. Crowding around her and hugging her legs, it showed what family meant to everyone. Though they weren’t family by blood…they were still family, and for that Josh glanced back at Repa who seemed unusually quiet and just gave her a smile, hoping she would understand before looking back at the kids. There was something going on though, as a couple of the kids broke away from Ebony and gave each other a look, just’s smile faded as he knew what was coming, he should’ve listened to Ebony…although he did prepare himself. This was so silly…if any of his friends back home saw the mighty soldier getting tackled by little children…well he’d never hear the end of it. So as Josh fell back being tackled by kids, he couldn’t help but laugh again, a smile returning to his face as he was under a pile of kids. Well this was fun. He didn’t try to move his way out, he just waited for the kids to get bored and move on, he didn’t want to destroy anyone’s fun of attacking the new guy. “Yeah yeah Ebony…I got that.” He chuckled as Repa then started to speak about helping them. It was a fantastic idea, truly came from the heart. He knew Repa had a soft spot, and her showing support to help Ebony and the kids…well she seemed more grown up than the annoying little sister he always thought of her as. The kids had pretty much stopped tackling Josh and he sat up a bit, looking at Repa in astonishment. She was absolutely serious, and if she was going to help, then Josh would as well. He looked over at Ebony and grinned. “You got all the resources of the Raines family…anything these kids need…you just let us take care of it alright?” He said with a wide grin as he watched some of the girls go over and hug Repa’s legs. A nice moment, Josh looked over at Ebony then and saw the happiness in her expression, it was something he hadn’t seen yet, her this happy, eyes sparkling and what not. This was a good trip for her…for her, Josh and Repa. Words: 457 Muse: Pretty good Notes: None

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Repa probably seemed to have a blank stare on her face, she was thinking about all the things she could do to help these kids. Of course, Repa didn’t know what to do, but so many thoughts came to mind…even getting them some decent food for once would be nice. A nice shelter or something sanitary and what not. A small smile appeared on her face at the many thoughts. She watched as the kids tackled Josh and she gave off a small laugh after he seemed to give her a smile…family. It’s all she had to fight for these days. “Nice Josh…if you can get taken down by a few kids…then why exactly are you in the army?” She said teasingly raising an eyebrow and folding her arms before she stated that she wanted to help. Which she did. She was going to do anything to help them out. Money, food, shelter, clothing, everything. “No problem Ebony…it’s really the least I can do. It just tears my heart out that no one else cares…” She said with a frown as some of the girls came over and hugged her legs, that brought her smile back and she knelt down some. “Would you girls like to get something good to eat? Eat till you practically explode?” She said in a tone that was light and happy as she was being as nice as humanly possible. “Ebony…would it be too much if we took these kids out for a meal…It’d be a good start and maybe but my conscience to rest for awhile as I think up other things to do.” She said looking up at Ebony with a smile so happy, it was unreal. She hadn’t felt this good in a long time…especially now and days with this l’cie stuff going on. When Josh said they had all the resources of the Raines family, she didn’t deny it. Repa nodded her head a few times to agree with her brother. “Yep, if you ever need anything…just let us know…we’ll take care of it.” She said before glancing back down at the kids, it warmed her heart that they were going to do something about all this…lack of care. It made Repa almost wish her future looked brighter…a husband…some kids…a family. But she knew she was far away from that…not even close. Either way, it was only a dream…and dreams don’t always come true. Words: 527 Muse: Pretty good Notes: Can u send me the story via PM to Repa's account again?

Black Researcher Let's get this over with so that I can get back to work. “No problem Ebony…it’s really the least I can do. It just tears my heart out that no one else cares…”That was the truth. No one cared. For an orphan, your home was the streets. That was it. Sure, people had put up orphanages, but they would be run down immediately and everyone was back where they were. For them, they had to learn to steal, to hide, and to survive. “Would you girls like to get something good to eat? Eat till you practically explode?”The young girls that had run up to Repa stood back a step and stared up at Repa. Only in their dreams had they ever thought of eating a feast, but then they would be awoken to the sound of the empty stomachs reminding them that it was just a far off fantasy. All of them nodded, and let out exclamation of approval, wide smiles plastered on all of their faces. “You got all the resources of the Raines family…anything these kids need…you just let us take care of it alright?”“Yep, if you ever need anything…just let us know…we’ll take care of it.”Ebony had lost all thought of a reply. No kindness had been ever bestowed upon as such was now. Some would say it was a blessing. Ebony called it something different. A miracle. “Ebony…would it be too much if we took these kids out for a meal…It’d be a good start and maybe but my conscience to rest for awhile as I think up other things to do.”Ebony looked over at Repa, and then quickly looked down. If they took all of the orphans out, it would be harder to hide form the PSICOM, seeing as how they were merciless against the orphans, especially the younger ones. She couldn't take that risk. "We wouldn't be able to take them out-"She was interrupted by shouts of protests from the children. Obviously the thought of having a proper meal had made them decide without a moments hesitation, and she had just broken their hopes. "You didn't let me finish," she yelled over them. They shut up immediately. She started up once again, repeating from then start. "We wouldn't be able to take them out, but we can probably go, get the food and then bring it back."That then induced a thousand hugs from a bunch of little children, which then made Ebony hit the ground. "Would that work, Repa?" she asked through the crowd of kids, while pushing the orphans off so that she could sit up.

Super SoldierI am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight.Josh really was enjoying himself right about now, smiling faces was always nice. Back home he never really got to see a lot of kids, happy or not, he was too busy in the line of fire to get to just walk around the various towns without there being some sort of danger. This to him, was very relaxing. He just kept a smile on his face as his eyes shifted from Repa, to Ebony, to the kids around him. It was nice of Repa to be so kind to them, of course Josh offered his own as well, knowing that it was the right thing to do. It wouldn’t take much to make these kids really happy, food was one thing…they would have to get that. Maybe one day Josh would randomly come around with toys or new clothes…something all kids needed to grow up with. Taking the kids out to dinner would be nice, but Ebony had said they wouldn’t be able to. Josh raised an eyebrow at that as the objections roared around from the other kids. When she silenced them and explained, it sounded like a pretty fair idea. Josh, Repa and Ebony could go grab anything off the shelves of a grocery store in town and bring it back. It was still a great offer. Josh got up to his feet and brushed himself off and adjusting the gunblade on his back as he looked at Ebony, his expression happy, as he folded his arms across his chest. “I think that sounds pretty reasonable…” He said walking over and helping Ebony up to her feet after she was brought down by a mob of kids. After helping her up he stood between her and Repa, placing a hand on each of their shoulders. “We can go…and bring back some nice stuff you guys.” He was being over the top sort of. Hopefully he wasn’t pushing it. Just trying to be nice and keep Ebony as well as these kids happy…he knew what they were capable of now. Josh cut his eyes to Ebony. “Where is the nearest grocery store? We can hit that place…and raid them off a lot of food.” His smile was small, but it meant a lot….a soldier like him who had seen death more times than the average person…smiling meant everything. Words: 479 Muse: Meh...its okay. Notes: >_> I didn't know what else to do with Josh for this one...sorry.

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” The look on the girls’ faces was just enough for Repa. It really made her feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside…almost too warm, like she jumped in a fire or something. A wide smile crossed her face as she looked at the happy faces of the kids. This was charity for her, volunteer work…the first time she really had ever pitched in like this and it was a good feeling…she’d have to do it some more on her world or anywhere else she went. “I’m glad you all approve.” She said with a small laugh just by looking at their faces she knew they were happy and excited. For once…someone cared…and it was the right people too. The people who were more fortunate and had enough to spare…enough to change the lives of a few kids dramatically. Repa’s face fell a bit as Ebony said they wouldn’t be able to take the kids out. She joined in the protest, only with a frown on her face. So much for being nice, but when Ebony yelled and silenced everything, Repa just blinked and stayed quiet, eyes wide and almost afraid, as if she were a little kid caught with her hand in the cookie jar. She stared at Ebony as she explained her idea, get stuff…bring it back. Well there wasn’t a problem with that. Josh seemed to agree with Ebony, reasonable idea…sure it was. Repa just shrugged her shoulders and let her smile return, maybe not as wide, but the feeling of doing a good deed was still there. “That sounds fine by me.” She said looking back at the kids. “Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to grab some good stuff.” She said with a grin even wider than before. As she looked at Ebony and then glanced at the door. “Guess it’s the grownups off to get everything….it wont take that long will it?” She asked looking back at the happy faces among her before ruffling the hair of a girl standing here. “It’s been a real pleasure to meet you all…we’ll be back soon…but when we come back…don’t tackle…we’ll have food.” She said with a small laugh before making her own departure for the exit not really waiting for Josh or Ebony knowing they would catch up before she had a chance to even get out of the area. Black Researcher Let's get this over with so that I can get back to work. “I think that sounds pretty reasonable…We can go…and bring back some nice stuff you guys. Where is the nearest grocery store? We can hit that place…and raid them off a lot of food."Ebony allowed Josh to help her up, and she patted off some of the dust that had caught onto her clothing, as Josh placed a hand on her and Repa's shoulder. “Guess it’s the grownups off to get everything….it wont take that long will it?”"The nearest store isn't too far off. It shouldn't take us too terribly long. I'm sure they can all wait. It will finally give them something else to look forward."Ebony let out another small chuckle. It had been quite a while since she had been this happy. Though it would probabaly be another long period of time for her to even be happy soon after what would soon occur. “It’s been a real pleasure to meet you all…we’ll be back soon…but when we come back…don’t tackle…we’ll have food.”The young girl laughed, and went back to stand with "brothers and sisters" as they watched the three walk back through the door, and up the stairs...smilies still on each and everyone of their faces. ~~~ While the three were out, the most horrible of all deeds was carried out. Somehow, a man had found the rotten hut, and entered it out of curiosity. He descended the stairs to find a dozen or so little children running around, playing, talking, doing little kid things. An insane grin stretched across his face, as he set to work and grabbed the first child. ~~~ A smile, for once, never left Ebony's face as she shopped for food with Repa and Josh. They were on their way back now, and Ebony had a slight lead in front of the two. She quickly checked for any PSICOM and then ran to the hut, opening the door, and rushing down the stairs, knowing that Repa and Josh were right behind her. Her happiness was soon outlived, and flickered away. She moved one of the two bags to her other hand as she opened the door, not noticing the blood that was seeping through the door crack. "Hey! We're ba-"Ebony stopped talking immediately as her mouth dropped slightly, and her eyes went wide. The bags dropped from her hand and fell into a pool of blood, with some of the food falling out. Blood was splattered on the walls, almost as if it were paint. Bodies and limbs layed on the floor, lifeless. Each and every orphan was dead. Ebony fell to her knees, and tears began to pour endlessly from her eyes, however, no sound came from her throat. Only quick breaths. She had just enough sense to look at each and every body to look for a sign of life. A rising chest. The sound of a breath. All she could hear was her own. Then the hysterics came, and Ebony's body racked itself with sobs. (Sorry for the long wait! Honest! And I hope that's okay. I tried to not make it too gruesome.)

Super SoldierI am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight.Things seemed to be going rather well today. Josh noticed Ebony’s cheery mood and kept a smile himself. As he carried bags in each arm back towards the hut, he felt something in the pit of his stomach…something he only felt when on the battle field, when you know you’ve lost something or someone…why would that feeling occur now? The happy atmosphere seemed to drift away in the breeze as the hut came into view. His smile quickly turned into a frown and his brows furrowed together as he tried to think where this feeling would’ve come from. Down the stairs the three went, Ebony in the lead, and as they stopped to open the door, Josh’s eyes locked on something dark and red. His eyes flickered to Ebony as he kept quiet. He knew exactly what it was but was just hoping it wasn’t the real thing…maybe a prank or something? No…it couldn’t be…because it smelled like blood as well…a rusty salty smell Josh knew too well from being on the battlefield. But when the door opened…even the mightiest of soldiers would’ve fallen in shock. Josh looked down at his army boots which were starting to be surrounded by the streaming blood. He lifted one shoe and almost shuddered before seeing Ebony’s heartbreaking reaction…which was expected, though he didn’t know what to think…his mind completely shut down at the sight of this…this…massacre. Josh tossed his bags off to the side not caring where they landed and kneeled down behind Ebony, placing his arms around her and trying to keep her from exploding in a frenzy of tears. Though who could blame her? This was her family. Josh looked back at Repa almost for guidance but her expression was just as blank. Looking back down at Ebony he cradled her into his chest moving beside her instead of behind her. What could you say at a moment like this? Everything will be alright? No, and there was no way Josh was going to say anything remotely close to that. He’d had family die before his eyes before and it was the most painful thing you could imagine…but this…was nothing compared to even the death of his brother…that was war…this was murder. “Repa…Can you get us home...?” He asked quietly hoping Ebony wouldn’t resist trailing back to Delatorr just to get away from the scene. Words: 479 Muse: Good Notes: WAHHHHH!! *Cries*

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” Once again…Bad luck seemed to follow Repa wherever she went, and no matter who she was with…doom seemed to follow them as well. It was almost as if she were jinxed. Coming down the stairs Repa wondered what the holdup was, all she saw was the door fly open and Ebony drop to her knees in quiet sobs, bags of food flying all over the place as Josh tossed his own aside and went to Ebony’s aid. What…happened? Repa looked down at Ebony…looked down at Josh and her eyes followed a red river as it seemed to seep out of the room ahead. She looked down and saw the blood forming around her and just starting to puddle there as they were all at the bottom of the stairs. She looked ahead, a blank stare on her face and she saw the scene from inside. Her eyes widened and her hands just shot up to her mouth to cover her gasping shock. Bags dropping at her sides tearing open as silence just filled the air. Repa’s eyes flickered every which way as time seemed to stand still for a few moments, her hands still covering her mouth, almost barely breathing, Josh at Ebony’s aid only to look back at Repa…but…she didn’t know what to say…her eyes just stared into that room. Her hands finally but slowly dropped her sides as she advanced a step closer to the blood stained room. Her mind running in different directions before she closed her eyes, her expression going from utter shock to anger, a gunblade appeared in her right hand in gun form as she stepped forward finally making some sort of sound. “It was PSICOM I bet you!” She growled looking around the room, aiming her gun up in every direction to see if any sort of PSICOM soldier was around…even the elite forces, accusing PSICOM was the first thing that came to mind...she hated them so much and they were ruthless with their actions...so she sort of fit the pieces together...but still debated herself over the accusation. As Josh asked if Repa could take them home, she looked back at Ebony and Josh and nodded a bit stepping backwards towards them and kneeling down herself on Ebony’s other side. “We’ll get you out of here…please…just trust me…it’s the best thing for you right now…get away from the shock…” Repa said before standing up straight again, taking one last glance around the room. “This couldn’t have been PSICOM…they’re a bunch of babies swinging around expensive toys…this had to have been someone else…” She whispered more to herself than anyone before calling out on the person…whoever they were. “Alright!” She said before aiming her gun upwards and shooting a couple bullets through the roof. “Whoever is responsible for this better come out now before I come in and find you…and really show the meaning of the term TORTURE.” She growled, meaning every single word of it. Sure she could kill people with the touch of her palm…but if she ever laid hands on this person…they’d pay…dearly. Words: 634 Muse: Good Notes: So sad v.v

Black Researcher Let's get this over with so that I can get back to work. If anything happened to those orphans, my family, I don’t know what I would do. Ebony could feel Josh fall down behind her, and wrap his arms around her, as her sobs just got more fierce. Once he moved beside her, she turned and buried her face into his chest, muffling her lament, and wrapped her arms around, fisting his shirt into her hands. “It was PSICOM I bet you!”She heard Repa exclamation, but she knew it wasn't PSICOM. They were too "righteous" and "proud" to check the sewers. After all, nothing "lived" down there. At least...not now, anyway. No, it wasn't PSICOM. It was an individual. Plain and simple. An insane individual. “Repa…Can you get us home...?”“We’ll get you out of here…please…just trust me…it’s the best thing for you right now…get away from the shock…”Leave? No, there wasn't going to be any leaving. Not at the moment. Not until she found whoever had done this horrendous deed and tear them apart just like what they did to her family. "I'm not leaving."Her sobs had stopped, and her hands loosened Josh's shirt from their grasp. Ebony pulled back slightly, her eyes dead themselves, but a small spark still lay in them. A spark of promise. "Not until I find the bastard who did this, and rip him apart...limb by limb." She stood up, removed her glove, wrote an "X," and summoned Abyss. He sniffed around a bit, until he rose his head and ran up the stairs. He stopped at the top, waiting for his master to follow. She didn't face either of the two as she turned from the scene. "Don't try to stop me. And don't try to follow me either. I need to do this myself."And with that, she ran up the stairs and followed Abyss out into the now pouring rain. It seemed that Ebony's tears would continue to rain from the heavens as she hunted down this cold-blooded murderer. ~~~ A man leaned against a wall, a wicked grin on his face as he flipped the bloody dagger in his hand, and drank from a recently opened liquor bottle. It was a good day today. It had been a while since he spilled fresh blood, especially that of children. Fal'Cie, he loved the way the blood flowed from their bodies, and gushed from their wounds. He took another swig and let out a small chuckle, laughing as the glorious memories popped into his head once more. Suddenly, the rain pouring down stopped. He looked up and all he could see was black. "Found you."He turned his head to look at the entrance, which was also shut off with black, and saw a young girl, about 18, standing there, a blank look on her face. A black wolf with red eyes stood next to her, growling, ready to pounce. He dropped the bottle and raised his dagger, fear now evident in his eyes. He had seen her around Cocoon before. She was the ingenious Black Mage, Blackwell if he remembered correctly, that roamed around Cocoon. What had made her come look for him? "I don't know why you're coming after me!" he yelled, taking a few steps back. She started to walk forward, with her wolf following her. "You killed my family.""But...you don't have a family!" "I did. Those orphans in the sewers that you hacked up were my family. And now I'm going to do to you, what you did to them."She raised her hand, and he stumbled back, falling to the ground. "Black Shackles."Pentagrams appeared, and chains came out of them, wrapping themselves around the man, pulling him up and forcing him against the back wall. "Black Vice."A black force bounded out of the blackness and clamped around the man's neck, beginning to slowly asphyxiate him. "P-please...st-stop...I beg of you!" "Black Edge." More pentagrams appeared and daggers slowly came out of them...all pointing towards the man. "Those orphans gave me the Ebony. The citizens of Cocoon gave me the name Blackwell. Now you'll see why. I'm going to make you suffer, just like you made my family and I suffer. One second at a time..."(Hope that's ok.)

Super SoldierI am a soldier, I fight where I am told, and I win where I fight. Was this real? Or was this a dream? No, not a dream, a nightmare. Josh had never seen Ebony so broken down…so torn apart, almost lifeless when he looked into her eyes. At least even with Repa’s little angst tantrum, she was willing to give it up and get Ebony and them all out of there, but as expected Ebony wasn’t going to leave. Josh sighed. “Ebony…are you sure? What If you get hurt?” He said as she stopped sobbing and released his shirt a little, she seemed very serious and determined…and Josh didn’t doubt that. It was too late to change her mind, Ebony had taken off behind abyss with a strict order not to follow or try to stop her. Josh just sat there almost dumbfounded as he rose to his feet with a heavy sigh before looking at Repa…and with a nod he pulled his gunblade out of its holster, now located on his side in gun form and started up the stairs with his sister to try and stop Ebony for getting that revenge she so desperately wanted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Running up the stairs and trying to get through Josh was stopped by…by something black. It must’ve been Ebony’s magic or something like that. He gritted his teeth and aimed his gun at the blackness, shooting a bullet but nothing would pierce the magical force shielding the entrance. Josh felt around the entrance and didn’t feel any sort of magic against anything else…Ebony was just blocking the entrance. Josh then looked back at Repa “Go back…we have to go back there’s no way through.” And with that the two turned back and headed downstairs to directly below the room Ebony and this mysterious man were in. Josh flipped open his gunblade and closed his eyes, remembering the lessons Ebony had taught him about magic. Those lessons came In handy today, in his hand Josh conjured up a powerful fire attack and thrust it upwards to the ceiling…or floor of the room Ebony was in. With a hole in the ceiling/floor Josh used the side wall to climb his way up…thank god for being a soldier. He jumped up and climbed through the hole and saw what Ebony was doing across the room. He couldn’t let her turn into a murderer…no matter how much she wanted to watch this man suffer, hell Josh wanted to watch him suffer as well and would’ve done so if…he didn’t have a conscience…that soldier honor and pride he grew up with. With that in mind, Josh took in a big breath before advancing on Ebony, sword in hand just in case she was unstable and sent something his way. He quickly ran up behind her and threw his arms around her waist, restraining her arms and body. “Ebony! Don’t do it!” He said gripping her tightly trying to pull her back and keep her from casting this last spell. With a gunblade in his hand thing wasn’t easy, but he managed to keep a lock on her waiting to see if his sister had come to help…or if he’d live to tell the tale of this one. Words: 617 Muse: Meh, im tired. Notes: ^ tired lol sorry it sucks

Princess at Heart”Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.” “Are you crazy!?” Repa shouted after Ebony took off for her revenge. Repa looked at Josh, her own weapon hanging at her side while her free hand was balled into a fist and struck against her hip. “You are all sorts of stupid aren’t you?” She said to her brother before he took off as well, Repa sighed heavily with a groan and just followed. “You shouldn’t have let her go in the first place!” But it seemed to her that Josh wasn’t even listening, to focused on catching up to Ebony before she made a huge mistake. Walking up the stairs Repa held her weapon upright and rested it against her shoulder as she waited for Josh to enter the room ahead, but it seemed blocked…barricade maybe? When he finally shot at it and the bullet only rebounded Repa sighed…magic. You couldn’t penetrate magic with bullets…at least this type of magic. It held so much power that bullets were nothing to it. “Lovely…” Repa sighed before trailing back down the stairs and under the room they were trying to break into. At least Josh had some sort of idea when coming down here…who knew he could do that much magic? Repa just stood back and watched as he sent a powerful fire cast to the ceiling making a hole they could get up into the room. Once just got his way up Repa shook her head and let her weapon disappear to she could try and get up. “I’m not a monkey…this isn’t fair…you’re a soldier…oh well…here goes nothing!” She said trying to climb her way up and in, maybe not as graceful as Josh did but she made it up. Clawing at the floor trying to pull herself up until she finally got in. Once in, Josh already had Ebony in a restraint, it would probably take much more than that to keep this girl from going for the kill. Repa kept her eyes on the man Ebony had pinned to the wall with magic and just scowled as she made her way over to Ebony. Standing infront of Ebony now, while Josh had her from behind Repa tried to reason with her. She stood in the way of Ebony and this man who slaughtered these kids…trying to keep him from Ebony’s view and try to get her to reason. “Ebony…Revenge won’t bring them back…you’re just stooping to his level…” Repa said softly and as nice as she could, though she didn’t expect Ebony to really listen…it was worth a shot right? “Ebony…we can turn him over to PSICOM…even if they don’t personally care about orphans…it’s a crime and they can take care of him…don’t make this mistake please…” she begged looking at Josh and seeing the determination he had to keep Ebony from doing anything too rational, it seemed he was going to…even stand in the line of fire if he had to. Ebony knew all sorts of spells and Repa decided then that Josh, being all those sorts of stupid she called him, was going to get in the way of those spells even if it meant his own physical health being risked here…they couldn’t Ebony turn into the monster… Words: 671 Muse: Meh...didn't really know what to do with her? Notes: sorry its crap.

Black Researcher Let's get this over with so that I can get back to work. The explosion from the Fire spell didn't exactly faze Ebony. She had in turn expected Josh and Repa to come after her...but, not through the floor. She glanced over at the hole, before turning her attention back on to the man chained up against the wall. However, her attention was taken somewhere else again as Josh climbed through the hole. She was instinctively ready to push him back, or even pin him against the wall to keep him from interfering. But, hesitation entered her mind, since she didn't want to hurt the one person she had fallen in love with. That one moment of hesitation allowed Josh to get behind her and pin her arms to her sides, while Repa started to crawl through the hole herself. “Ebony! Don’t do it!”Once Repa, was able to get through she stood in front of Ebony, but she made no move to show that this would stop her. “Ebony…Revenge won’t bring them back…you’re just stooping to his level…Ebony…we can turn him over to PSICOM…even if they don’t personally care about orphans…it’s a crime and they can take care of him…don’t make this mistake please…”PSICOM? What could they do? Nothing. And this wasn't a mistake. It was something that had to be done. Ebony didn't say anything and for a moment, it looked like they had gotten through to her, since she hadn't said anything for a couple minutes. Far from it. "I'm sorry, but you leave me no choice." With Josh hanging on to her so tightly, she was able to lift up and kick Repa away, before landing. "Black Shackles."This time, chains came from the darkness that still stood behind the two and wrapped around Josh. They pulled him back suddenly and put him against the wall. More chains wrapped around Repa and put her next to her brother so that the two couldnt move...or interfere. "I told you not to stop me. I have to do this."Ebony stepped forward and grabbed the bloody dagger that the man had dropped when his own chains had grabbed him. She raised her hand, signaling the other daggers levitating in the air, but also getting ready to strike. The man trembled and closed his eyes tight, tears pouring down his cheeks. She was just about ready to end it all when...her hand dropped to her side, and the dagger fell from her hand. All the spells disappeared into the sky, and Abyss bounded back inside Ebony. Josh and Repa were freed while the man dropped down and started to cough. "Leave."He looked up at her, as she looked off to the side, her eyes truly lifeless now. "Now, before I change my mind."He stumbled into a standing position and ran out of the alleyway, and into the streets. Never to be seen again. Ebony fell to her knees and just sat there, staring at the dagger that was the one thing that took away her family.
