ALRIGHTY, since Repa and I have been asked a LOT about what people should put in each category, we decided that we should post in here to give you a little bit of help if you need it.
Ok first, custom title: Here you can put in anything you want that describes your character, mainly its just to look cool. Some examples custom titles may be,
Adorkable Cutie
Forgotten Turk
Princess at Heart
One Winged Angel
Ok so I hope that helps, mainly just have fun with this one and put any title you want that explains the personality, job, title of your characters.
Age: How old is your character?
Gender: Male or female?
Family: Does the character have any family members? For Cannon you should know, but if its for an OC just make up what family members the chracter has.
Race: For most you would put human, in some instances it would be like Feline (for RedXIII) or Ancient (For jenova) things like that.
Sexual Orientation: I think this one pretty much explains itself, Strait? Heterosexual?
Home World: Where did your character grow up? You can pick any of the worlds for an OC whereas for a Cannon you should know what world they are associated with.
Alignment: This could be like what company? the Turks are aligned with ShinRa, whereas SeeD members are aligned with Garden. You can always just put Good/Bad/Light/Dark/Neutral if they are not part of a company.
Job: Ok so does your character have a job? an OC might have a regular job type, but if its a cannon, for instance Cloud, you would have to put Mercenary, or Delivery boy, something like that.
Items: What does your character have on their person? A necklace they got from a mother? Gloves? A letter? This is just things the character would have with them.
Accessories: Ok so for this, if you know Final Fantasy at all you know that people can equip accessories to help them out in battle. You can put them here, however keep in mind you can not have more then 3.
Appearance: This is where you tell us what your character looks like. Height, weight, eye color, clothing, etc...
Personality: What does your character act like? Honestly please do not tell me that you cannot come up with two measly paragraphs, its not that hard, elaborate, tell us exactly how they are, what they act like in different situations.
History: Your character has to have a past, whether their OC's or Cannons. If your having difficulty think about their childhood, work to their school years and then go from there, always tell us how they ended up on the world they now reside on. If your character is a cannon that died, you must tell us how he/she came back to life.
Abilities: This is the moves your character has when it comes to fighting, although you can also put other abilities. Please NO 'my character is the strongest character alive and can beat everyone else' (unless of course its Sephiroth :3) for cannon your character should have some signature moves, put them here, but each character needs a certain amount of cool down time before they can use the ability again. You can put how many posts until it is able to be used again. (Normal is 3 - 6)
Summons: summons can generally not be used for just starting out. FF13 members will each have their own summon (Fang's is bahamut etc) so usually only l'cie can have these, yet if you are say...Sephiroth or Genesis, you will probably have a summon. Summons are animal type things that help in battle.
Magic: What magics does your character have up their sleeve? Cura? Cure? Curaga? Thuder? Thundaga? Water? Aero? Blizzard? Fire? Shell? Protect? Tell us here, but there is a limited amount, only up to 5 and you must have a number of cool down posts before it can be used again.
Strengths: Personality, physical, emotional strengths your character has, perhaps above average strength, friends, a trait of their personality, something like that which makes the character stronger.
Weaknesses: Look above, it is the same thing only that this makes the character weaker. Perhaps being less then average strength, etc, use your imagination.
Weapon: What does your character use to fight with? Staff? Lance? Sword? Gunblade?
Crushes: Is there anyone your character likes? Aerith could put Zack, Rinoa could put Squall...I'm sure you understand lol
How did you find us: tell us how you found the site! :] this if for my own curiosity, you could put Google, a friend, an ad (tell us what site you got the ad from) and from anywhere else.
Role play sample: Please use 3rd person and at least 1 paragraph. You MUST use the character your applying for. This is to show us that we know what your doing with your character. *WARNING* IF WE FEEL YOU ARE NOT RPING YOUR CANNON CORRECTLY AND IT HAS GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE WE FEEL YOU ARE A HINDRANCE, WE WILL TAKE HIM/HER AWAY. For the most part we're pretty cool with however you RP them, but Vincent should not talk a mile a minute in an excited tone ALL the time, and Sephiroth should NOT be a happy person who skips through a field of flowers. Rikku should not be Emo, Yuffie should not be suddenly hate materia! :3 I think you get the picture lol
