Hope look at Gran pulse from where he was at. If people were more opened minded, they could enjoy this place instead of thing it's bad to be. It was huge with open fields compared to Cocoon. You had anywhere to go with no worries besides you just would have to be careful. It seem well enough to raise a family out here. Had no rules of PSICOM bossing people around. Had a feeling of being free and live it up. These were things Hope thought about it unlike how he felt about it before he was on Cocoon.
His attention focused towards them as they were talking about I'cie. Hope did wonder must be a good thing no more are around to suffer the pain like everyone in the group had endured. He could say so for himself as he didn't enjoyed it one bit but was calm as it did took some time to get used to. His mind did went a bit far as the thought if there was some in hiding. It could be possible but if that was the case, they would eventually show themselves as wouldn't handle they're brands even if they're eidolon's came out of nowhere.
Hope didn't let it bother him as it wasn't his problem. For even the Fal'cie's, Hope hoped that Fang was right about them. Hope would take them on within a heartbeat. He considers them not worthy to even live or lurking around all the trouble they can cause. Hope started to speak up. "I would give PSICOM something to defend. As long they try to help the people and stay out of out ways."With that said, Hope know PSICOM aren't gonna do too well. Heck most of them are cowards anyways. Some are so low they would even protect they're own skins.
"Plus, they're hopelessly inexperienced." He finished up his little two cents he had to say about PSICOM after Lighting. Hope sighed as he wished things were better than they were now. But, he know how the saying goes "Beggars can't be choosers." He shaked his head a little as even that was true, it was somewhat funny saying as well. Hope presented his teeth a bit forming a smile as Fang ruffled up his hair. When she said about, missing someone, his mind instant thought about Snow.
"I do wonder how Snow been since he had alot of time now to be with Serah."Hope expression showed some thought. Whatever he had done since, Hope wanted to see him. He didn't forgot how he was strong willed through those hard times not giving up for one second. He laugh a bit when Light hit his shoulder in a friendly way as he he was happy to know that Light was proud of him. When he learned that the only plan was to survive and find the others, he nodded his head. "Ok but, where are gonna most of them? We know that Snow and Serah at in Cocoon. But, Sazh and Vanille are needles in a haystack."
As he didn't know they would find them or not but, As long Fang and Lighting was around, He know they wouldn't give up so easily or soon. Making Hope think he could do it too. He thought maybe that was the reason both of them said to survive. It did make sense after all.
Words:606 Muse: Beats me? 0_0 Notes:I thought maybe I should get into the habit of doing this as well? What I think that, this seems helpful.

~HighWind Nightmare~“Listen, you're not alone anymore. We have a new family now. We stick together, ya hear me?” Fang looked around and wondered if she should tell Light and Hope about Vanille's decision to leave and go to a new place with Fate. She herself knew there were other worlds out there. Angeal, for instance, was from Gaia, whereas Fate was from a different world as well. What did that mean? How many were out there? It hurt to know that Vanille would be leaving and she couldn't help her, but it was Vanille's life and her decision to make. She thought she'd turn over a new leaf and actually not be the overprotective woman she was. At least not so much. She had told Vanille I was alright, although she had given her certain conditions and requests. One of which was that she'd come back to get Fang if she needed her. The other was making her promise that she would come back when it was all done and said. For the time being Fang was going to enjoy her stay on Gran Pulse without a focus killing her, but maybe she would leave for awhile as well. Find Angeal once more, he wouldn't have completed his focus by now right? It was a hell of a focus to complete in anyones standards.
Without l'cie...a nice thought, of course now she remembered she had been the one to go to Anima and get turned to l'cie on purpose to protect Gran Pulse...like Anima hadn't been able to do. She still held a grudge against Anima, but it wasn't so bad. “No l'cie...I wonder when they'll start makin more again.” She didn't like the thought, but it was a given, unavoidable. The PSICOM subject though...those guys needed to be taught a few lessons. But Hope was right when he spoke, and Light was as well. “Your right. It won't last, especially when they fail at keeping the people safe from the harmless little beasts around here.” She had to smile at that, some of the beasts were amazingly powerful. Fang was still watching Hope...he really had changed from the first few times she had seen him. Fang had to admit that he had gotten on her nerves at first, just so childish, but he had quickly outgrown that and once he stopped calling Gran Pulse hell they got a long just fine.
They were on the subject of Snow again? Fang put her hands on her hips and cocked her head to the side. “Stubborn oaf'll probably just die from a heart attack when he learns that we're alive again.” She couldn't wait to see the look on his face when he saw either her or Vanille. Priceless. Light agreed with her plan and she nodded in her own agreement, checking the sky. If they wanted to make anywhere by nightfall they were going to have to move. “Alroight lets go.”
Hope made the comment about them being needles in a haystack. “You guys haven't seen Sazh? And Hope, I know where Vanille is...she's around, just with someone thats special to her. But if need be I could find her again.” Kids and their romance, but she didn't say anything else about it, just cracked her neck, put her hands on her hips and looked out over where they had to walk. Where were they gang anyway? Where were they all living? Fang wasn't sure, so she'd have to let Light lead the way on this one. It was good, being back with a party to help out. Sure she could take down any of the beasts herself, but a little extra manpower would be great. Words: 754 Muse: bleh Tagged: Light and Hope Notes: notta

Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” It was a question Lightning thought about too, what Fang had said. When would more L’Cie pop up? Probably wouldn’t be too long before you spotted someone with a brand of their own. It was a difficult thing to face yes, but that was life on both Cocoon and Pulse, they’ve lived with it all their lives and there was no changing it. Lightning just shook her head some in response, she really didn’t have more to say on the subject of either the Fal’Cie, or PSICOM, between her and Hope, they summed it up pretty well. Their reign of power from the people wouldn’t last very long once the soldiers had to really man up against the beasts of Pulse…then who would the citizens turn to? Light and the gang? Probably not, they were probably still terrified of the ex-L’Cie…thinking they were still tainted and evil as they thought before.
Onto the subject of Snow. Lightning really wasn’t around all that much to pay attention to him and Serah lately, but as far as she knew, they were fine and stuff. She’d have to deal with him as a brother soon enough once him and her sister got married, which Lightning still wasn’t all happy about, but she would accept it. After all her and Snow had gone through, he earned her respect and proved himself worthy of protecting Serah, but still, Lightning thought he was still too childish and it did get on her nerves at times. But she just decided to brush that side of Snow off and try to be nice and what not. No more punching him down or anything, at least lately. “Snow’s been fine as far as I know.” Lightning said with a small glance over at Hope, remembering all the angst he felt towards the hero and Operation Nora…she was actually glad that had fallen through and was far behind them all. She would learn to choose her words better around Hope.
When Fang decided it was time to go, Lightning’s eyes just stayed on Fang for a moment. They had better get going if they didn’t want to get lost in the dark after the sun went down, that would not be fun! “Yes, it’s time to go.” She said simply in a small mono tone. She couldn’t help but loosen her grip as she let her arms fall to her sides, one then reaching up to rub the back of her neck some. She hated the fact that she had lost touch with practically everyone. Wandering around Gran Pulse, you really didn’t keep contact that easily. “Sazh is fine I’m sure. He’s with Dajh and what not…we’ll find them.” She said hopeful that a reunion would be a good idea, getting this weird little family back together was probably the best idea for now, everyone deserved to know that Fang and Vanille were back and out of crystal stasis.
“We’ll probably have to catch up with Vanille later…if she’s with that friend of hers.” Lightning said before she started walking off, taking the lead of their little party and just keeping her eyes forward. Her arms swaying at her side a bit with that soldier stride of hers. How far back would they need to go? Not all the way back to the Archylte Steppe right? Guess just keep taking the route back until you found someone you knew. What a trip this would be. While continuing to walk across the crystal sand in the lead, Lightning was shifting her eyes back and forth across the horizon ahead, just to keep an eye out for any creatures or anything else that looked suspicious or could cause them harm. She was on full alert as always. Words: 729 Muse: Good Tagged: Fang & Hope Note: None

Hope started to think about the future. What lies ahead for him. He wondered what he was gonna do. Sure he would hang out with lighting and Fang but, he would probably have to be more educated than he already is. It was the best for him as he did like to learn new things. That's what his father wanted out of him. Nothing but to do your best son. Hope could heard him talking to him inside of his head as he sighed.
Who knows how much time he would even have to fight and defend others? He would rather to do that first. The reason is he could be educated and study anytime while saving people life's he can't if he would lose them. He did believe in himself that he can do whatever if you put your mind to it. He was happy to realized that now as he didn't before being I'Cie had started. His thinking went further if this world would be better or worse?
He didn't give it much thought as he would face the changes of the world to come when the time comes itself. He wondered what would the rest would do later in life. They would have some plans of they're own to do something. Hope smiled a bit as shaked his head as he was in his own world thinking about these things. So while he was young now, he decided to live it up more. Get one chance to be young.
Hope replyed back to Fang about the I'cie's. "I don't think they appeared too soon. Besides, if they did, we always could stop them ourselves or even prevent it from happening."Saying it with enthusiasm. He thought if we could take them on once, we can do it again. Knowing that each of themselves can change the present for the greater good.
Hope laughed when Fang talked about Snow. As it was a silly respond she give off. It was good news that Lighting said that he was doing fine which Hope give off a gentle smile. He shaked his head as he didn't know Sazh was. He know's Lighting was right when she said he could take care of himself. He was wise enough. To hear that Vanllie was doing good as well. He was happy for her that she found someone to be with. She does to deserve the best.
Hope looked at his large boomerang as he it equipped now. He felt the wind gently breezing across his hair as it flow up. He kept in the back of the two keeping his eyes peeled as possible knowing they were starting to move on. It seemed wise than stand or being in one spot.

~HighWind Nightmare~“Yeah, its unfair, but guess what, we grin and bear it like good l'cie.” Fang shrugged, the conversation had gone down as they all seemed to be lost in thought. Thinking of the past wasn't so bad now that they were all together and it was behind them. If any of them had died it wouldn't be so good to think about it, but as they were all fine and dandy now, it seemed almost far away, like it was hard to remember those times. And yet easy to remember at the same time. How could you forget a road that was so long and a struggle that was so great? Honestly, she was glad she could remember, and not have forgotten like the time before that. It had been so frustrating, not knowing when she had needed to know so badly! But it was all over and done with now, hopefully they wouldn't need to go down that path ever again.
Then they were talking about Sazh. Fang had felt guilt strongly over what had happened to Sazh's small son at the Gorge. Yet how could anyone find the words needed to express the guilt? The regret? The sadness? It had weighed heavily on her mind, though she hadn't told anyone that, not even Vanille. Vanille had felt to much regret herself, why burden her down with her own feelings or guilt? So she had bourne them alone, as she always had, but it had been that moment on Gran Pulse, with Sazh and the chocobos that she had finally been able to let go of that guilt. Talking it out with him had helped, and knowing he wasn't angry with her had helped ease her mind. It had been that moment when she had actually started liking Sazh more then simply a member of the party, someone helping reach the end. He had always been the father figure of the group, often talking them out of their slumps, and for that she was thankful.
They had needed someone like him. How else in a lot of times would they have survived except for the steady influence of Sazh? She had learned to appreciate his fatherly moments, even if sometimes she thought they were to mushy. He was good at keeping the spirits of the group high though, just as Vanille was. If those two were happy, the mood was lighter. Yet if they were sad, it brought the entire group down. She would like to see him again, maybe meet his son for real this time, just like she wanted to meet Serah. They were two people that were on her list of needing to meet. She felt the urge to tell them both she was sorry, regret laid heavily on a persons mind. And though they probably wouldn't think she had anything to apologize for, just knowing she had gotten it off her chest would be a good thing. She wasn't living this life with anymore regrets!
With a nod she was following Light as she took point. With most people Fang would have a hard time letting them lead, but Light had always had her respect...one of the few people that she could trust would lead and keep the party alive. She fell into the side and scanned the immediate area. She knew her place well and her and Light worked well together. Fang turned her head to look at Hope as he fell in behind. She hadn't always trusted him to keep the back, which was just as important as point, but he did a good job. “Well with two strong fighters It seems I can just sit back and relax. This should be nice.” She smiled back at them at that, wondering if they would have to go all the way back to the Steppe's, of course she would make it there eventually, the Steppe's were her favorite part of Pulse. Granted, she was going to get back there. Gran Pulse was huge though, and since they were in Oerba, they had a long ways to go to get back there. Maybe Snow would show up, or Vanille and Fate, Sazh and his son, wouldn't that be nice.

Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” It seemed everyone was wondering about the future. What it would bring and what not. It was hard to imagine the worlds back to the way they once were, and if that ever happened…it would just start all over again, one big cycle after another. But with the state that everyone was in…that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, if ever. Lightning figured people of this generation would probably live out their lives on Gran Pulse and that would be the end of it…perhaps the next generation would make this place more civilized…turn it into a second Cocoon…or maybe they would grow up the way Fang and Vanille did, loving this place and keeping the beauty of nature alive here instead of tearing it all down with stone and steel. That was probably a better vision of the future, at least in Light’s eyes…but that was the far future…what about the near future?
Placing her hands on her hips, Lightning looked over at Hope for a brief moment. “So Hope…have you spoke with your dad?” She asked randomly and curiously. She hoped the boy was alright…his father was sure to be safe, and after his mother had died…she just wanted to make sure someone was there for him, to watch over him. If no one would or had the ability to…she would herself. She’d look over everyone in the group, keep them safe…as best as she could. They were like a family to her, even Snow at this point in time…just a really really annoying brother…well maybe not that close…but the really annoying part sure fit him in her eyes. She couldn’t help but like the guy a little though, after all the lengths he went through to save Serah and Cocoon…she had to give him some credit for that.
“Let’s just hope no L’Cie are going to be created anytime soon.” Lightning said ending her opinion on the subject. She didn’t want to think of the horrible Fates of L’Cie anymore than she had when she was one herself. Those were bad times for her, at least the beginning of their journey, when they traveled through the Vile Peaks…had Odin not appeared and knocked some sense into her head, she probably would’ve given up sooner or later. Though that was her idea on Eidolons…they show you that you have what it takes to keep moving…they show you the way and get you back on your feet before you give up all hope. That hope, whatever it was…it drove her to succeed and they did…all of them. Cocoon was safe and so were they…a win/win right?
Sit back and relax? Ha, that was funny. Lightning just smirked to herself a little bit with little expression on her face as she kept walking. Traveling back towards the Archylte Steppe would be tough, many beasts they would run into, but if they had done it once…of course they had six people back then, then Lightning was sure they could do it again. She was sure the three would be fine, she knew Fang was hard as nails and wouldn’t go down easily, Hope was so much stronger than before and great with magic…and Light…Light just went with whatever plan she cooked up in her head…that was her way of going for things. As they continued to walk towards the outskirts of Oerba, Lightning couldn’t help but wonder once again where things were going to go…sooner or later, everyone would have to move on with their lives. Would Fang…Vanille, and everyone else be a part of her life in say…10 years from now? Or would everyone drift away doing their own thing? She hoped not…if so…she’d probably go back to how she was before…Cold and unfeeling towards people. She didn’t want to travel down that ‘Lone Wolf’ road again.Words: 754 Muse: Good Tagged: Fang and Hope Notes: None

Hope closed his eyes for a brief second and give off a deep breath as he tilted his head up pointing at the sky. After that had happen, he turn his head to Fang and Lighting to explain."Sorry about that just wanted...to enjoy the feeling of being alive."He was type of person who value life as something to enjoy while still being here within the living. He had to learn that part after the loss of his mother. She herself wanted Hope to enjoy himself dearly.
Another part was swirling in his head was the excitement on traveling again especially with Fang and Lighting but, the whole group including Serah and Dajh would be alot more funnier. Everyone being united together would be joy. Hope thought if they as a group was happy together with company, than why couldn't the whole world can be either? But, he knew it would take sometime. He faced that, it's gonna take some time to recover but, with the help of everyone besides the group themselves, that it would be a good benefit on letting the cycle grow smarter, stronger, wiser and had more courage.
Hope stopped thinking as he liked doing that more than speaking up. He pay attention to Lighting's question about his dad as he showed happiness on his face. "Yeah. He's been really proud of me after I came home. We been spending more time together as a family should than it was before."He didn't tell her about him leaving home without his knowledge before he met up with her and Fang here. He did let Hope be more free on going to places but, still wanted him to be safe.
Hope knew he was gonna to everything what it takes to be alive for his mother and father especially for his new family. As he been to smile after a brief slient. Hope nodded with a yup sound agreeing towards Lighting's comment on L'Cie's. With the journey ahead them, Hope was ready to do this once all over again. He felt his body pumping in a good way. He give a little red blush on his cheek as Fang thought he was strong besides Lighting.
He did thought he was bit stronger than before but, he felt somewhere inside that he still wanted to be strong than he already was. As he didn't really think of it he just thought he was the same as he was. Nonetheless, he did pay that any attention much longer as he focused on the situation on hand. Moving behind Lighting and Fang as they were proceeding.

~HighWind Nightmare~ “I guess I deserve it...after what I did.” Fang rose her eyebrow and stood with her hands on her waist as Light asked Hope about his dad. She had been meaning to ask him how that was going as well, but hadn't gotten around to it. All in all Hope had made it a long ways with maturity level. When she had met him Hope had been obsessed with holding a grudge against almost everyone, Snow and his dad in particular. Fang knew what grudges were like, so she hadn't really talked to him like Light had. It had all worked out in the end, although Hope had tried to kill Snow. What a kid. A shadowy smile lifted her lips up as green eyes watched to see a reaction from the silvery haired blonde kid. He was quickly becoming a young man and not a kid anymore. A somewhat odd feeling since he had always been the kid of the group.
At Hope telling them that his dad and he were closer Fang nodded approvingly. Family was Family, if you had any you should cherish them while you could. Never knowing when they'd be ripped from your grasp. Her own family had been killed suddenly and violently in the war of transgression. But then again, Fang could barely remember what it had been like before the orphanage. Spending the majority of her childhood with many other orphans hadn't been so bad, except for the fact that she had held a nasty grudge against Anima.
“Its good to cherish the family you have. Took me a lifetime to figure that out.” Green eyes weren't as ice cold as normal, instead they held a bit of emotion. Usually when Fang spoke people talked, simply because she wasn't the kind to bounce off the walls and talk all the time randomly. What she said was usually important. “But now I have another lifetime to make up now don't I.” Walking a few paces away, she looked over her shoulder and felt the sunshine come down on her skin. It warmed her thoroughly.
Seeing Hope lift his face up, she did the same and felt the sun rays hitting her. A deep breath escaped her lungs for a moment at that. Just able to relax and be alive...awake and alive at last. She hadn't been able to be so alive in years, with the focus on her shoulders she had simply been alive in body, while dead because she knew she was going to have to turn back to a crystal. Now she could breath for awhile without that annoying weight of her past sins and questionable future.
Fang smirked as well and matched Light stride for stride, yet she hung back a bit, flanking the side. She knew just as well as they did how strong Gran Pulse beasts were. You got lax and then you died. Best to keep your guard up. Hard as nails was an apt description of the Gran Pulsian woman. Raised with her lance in hand, she had always known she was born to fight. With a spring in her step, Fang breathed in and enjoyed the life that was around her. Though the crystal was still around Oerba, traces of life could now be seen around them. “Come on now though, you strong bodies just sit back and let me at any a' them beasties. I haven't had much fighting action in the last few months, bein' a crysal an' all.” Fang was back. Words: 702 Muse: meeh, better then I thought it'd be! Army Of One”It’s not a question of can or can’t, there are some things in life you just do.” Lightning just shook her head at Hope, she had to stop thinking he wasn’t cut out for wandering out on his own, in fact, he was more than capable, but she remembered him as the boy from the Vile Peaks…she had to make sure he stayed safe, it was just…something she had to do. “No no, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t….nag you for wandering around. You’re capable of handling yourself.” She said with a smile curling at the ends of her lips a little, it wasn’t huge or anything, but a small smile for Lightning meant a lot, it meant she was happy, and she really was. She was glad for Fang and Vanille’s return more than anyone could possibly understand, though she didn’t really show her excitement or emotions a lot, she knew on the inside she was pretty happy. Most people saw her as a cold unfeeling soldier girl, but there was more to her that meets the eye, and those people she called her family, had gotten to see a softer more caring side to her.
With a nod of approval, Lightning kept that tiny smile on her face as they continued on, she was slightly ahead of the others, but glanced back at the two every now and then when words were spoken. It felt like old times, except this time they weren’t on a ticking time limit. Now they were just wandering around going to find the others, to reunite a slightly dysfunctional family, but then again, that’s what made them all unique and important to one another. “That’s great Hope…I’m glad you’ve gotten to see him since everything happened.” She said with a small sigh, it reminded her of Serah. Lightning hadn’t seen much of her since Cocoon was crystallized, she was probably too busy with Snow and planning their wedding, Lightning sure wouldn’t miss that for the world. Soon Snow really would be her brother-in-law, that would be a little weird, not that she hated the guy, but he was just so…immature sometimes and didn’t look at the big picture of things, but all and all, he was a good guy, good for Serah.
Lightning walked up to Fang and placed a hand on her shoulder as she slowly passed by the woman. “We’re all a family now…so believe me, everything will be made up for. Though I’m sure if you ask Vanille…she’ll tell you there’s nothing to make up for.” Lightning said with an encouraging smile as she walked on forward, the crystal sand soon changed to a stone-like texture as Lightning then stopped and placed one hand on her hip as she stared at the tower ahead. The elevator from last time was sitting there in the crystal sand and that instantly gave Lightning a bit of relief. Now they wouldn’t have to climb all the way up the tower and back down just to get to the outskirts of Taejin’s Tower. “Déjà vu eh?” She said in a monotone as she folded her arms across her chest, staring at the elevator before shrugging her shoulders. “Well, we won’t get anywhere just standing around…and don’t worry Fang…I’m sure you could take care of anything we run into.” She said with a small smirk on her face, not facing the two behind her as she strode off again towards the elevator in her soldier stride once again.Words: 683 Muse: Meh, okay :3 Tagged: Hope & Fang Notes: None! *posts like a ninja*

"It's alright Light. You didn't have to say your sorry. I know your just looking out for my well being like you always have been."He enjoy her nagging as it reminded being like when they all were on they're journey before. But, it was just another reason for Hope to be strong at all times never letting his guard down for no reason what so ever. Something he had desire and pick it up from Lighting herself with her experience.
As they all were walking along, Lighting was right about being a family together and about making it up. Hope thought she was doing just fine on making it up. To him it seems like she already is by being here alive and well with Light and her. "I think you are Fang. I mean, your breathing again in our very eyes and your really here."Hope said as he spoke on what he felt giving off a smile with a little nod.
Even though they were talking about his dad, he keep it away from thinking on it. Getting mushy when thinking about someone close wasn't a good thing at all especially when out of your confort zone in a place like home for example. Like Lighting told Hope once that, "You got to be cold and tough." Hope still hold on to that whenever he is alone by himself fighting as it helped out.
Hope started to speak out. "I wonder who we are gonna see next?" "I mean I'm already surprised to see you guys"It was just a curious question he had in his mind at the time and moment. Hope nodded his head as Light was saying about being at the tower once more. It did looked the same too. Hope ran to catch up with them.
