"Quistis, I don't want you pushing yourself," Squall added, "I know how important Selphie is to you there's no way I could stop you from coming." Squall knew that Quistis would do anything in her power to save or protect her family, that went without saying. Now she was tired from all this SeeD work she was dragging herself through for some reason. The logical thing to do would have to just left her, but they did not have the time for that. Besides, it would drive Quistis mad knowing she was here resting while Selphie was missing... She was tired so she may not be on top of her game, but Squall was positive that she would still be great help.
As Quistis threw out her ideas Squall just simply nodded in agreement. Taking Ragnarok would be the best option and they would need supply since they had no idea how long they would be gone. "I'll get all the supplies that we need Quistis. You prep the airship. We're leaving as soon as possible." Maybe it seemed like Squall was moving too fast, but Selphie was on Cocoon with that Time Witch. Surely, if Ultimecia where to find out that Selphie was there and alone she would exact her revenge.
Some many thoughts were running through the boy's head. Hopefully nothing would happen to the Garden while they were away. Xu would be here and she would have Zell, who was plenty strong, and Irvine for support. "Selphie's in Cocoon," Squall answered Rinoa, "I'm assuming she went through one of those portals by accident." Accident or not, the face of the matter was she was not here and they would have to get her.
"Sorry. Whatever it is you have to tell me it will have to wait... Or you could tell me on the way."
Unfortunately, Squall mind would be elsewhere. He was too worried about Selphie now. A few days ago he was just walking with her to the infimary and telling her to be more careful... ...She never listens... "Xu, I don't want anyone to know of this. Quistis, Rinoa, Selphie, and I are on trip to Esthar to examine those strange creatures with professionals, if anyone ask." Squall said, "If we're not back in three-to-four days just assume the worst has happen. Do NOT come after us."
Maybe the last part was a bit harsh... Telling Xu to forget about her comrads was a bit overboard. But it did not make sense to send others into an unknown world, especially when they were needed here. Squall started to walk toward the elevator, but came to a jolting stop, staring at the ground. "Quistis, Xu... Ultimecia. She's... Ultimecia's back." Squall had to tell Quistis what she was walking into, right? He would have hate to showed up on Cocoon and Ultimecia be waiting for them and Quistis have a puzzled look upon her face. This way she would be ready. "We don't know how she return, but she's in Cocoon. That's what Seifer told us..." He paused, "...Xu don't reveal that Ultimecia's back to anyone yet please...We don't want to cause chaos in the Garden right now..."

Again he commented on her well-being, Squall really had changed while she was away on missions all the time. This wasn't like how she knew him but then again maybe it was just her that had done the changing. If she really thought about it she was always holding everyone back at arms length, indirectly or directly. With all these missions she buried herself in she hardly found any time to catch up with them and what makes it worse is that she didn't really mind. She couldn't really stand the happiness when she herself felt so alone.
Shaking her head she pushed the thoughts aside, she couldn't think of this right now when Selphie could be in danger. Even sleep could wait for this, and if it got too bad she could just sleep on the way there in the Ragnarok.
Quisitis nodded and turned to Xu to organise a few things Squall had seemed to forget, like how Xu would have to be in charge. Both Xu and Quistis knew that she would have this role while they were gone, it was just a matter of discussing finer details while Squall explained to Rinoa what was going on. Quistis kind of felt sorry for taking away Rinoa's chance at a meeting with Squall, she'd have to apologise to her later but right now she wanted to get Selphie back.
Both Quistis and Xu stopped their discussions and just stared at Squall. They were both thinking the same thing, what was it that he knew and wasn't telling them? This mission should be relatively simple, they were just going to get Selphie back and if Quistis message got through then she'd be at the portal waiting for them. Quistis shrugged to Xu and she began to walked to the elevator, she really had no time to worry about what Squall was thinking at the moment for she had a ship to ready.
She froze, every bit of her just froze.
Ultimecia is back, but how could that be possible? The bell for the elevator indicated that it had arrived and that she should be going but she was just frozen. Why is she back, how could she be after all they had been through to defeat her...and of all people, Seifer told them? What's he playing at, he can't be working with her again right. As it all began to sink in Quistis got her second shock for the day. “Ultimecia is in Cocooc, where Selphie is?” She didn't wait for a response she just entered the elevator and decided the best thing to do right now was to ready the ship and be off. Now she understood his urgency.

Nodding, Rinoa looked towards Quistis with a concerned expression as Squall continued to explain what he wanted Xu to do. Of course her report could wait, it didn't matter at all right now. Selphie was in another world, and with Ultimecia. If she managed to run into her there, things could get very bad. She really hoped that they reached the girl first. But then, what if they found Ultimecia instead?
It doesn't matter....If she shows up, I'll give her another taste of what she made me into it...
Pulling herself out of her moment of contempt towards the witch, the young girl could hear the concern in Quistis's voice when she heard the news and put the pieces together. But before she could even say anything, the older female was already on the elevator and headed towards the ship bay no doubt. Glancing over towards Squall, she walked into the elevator beside it and held it for him to enter.

Hearing words of concern was probably strange coming from Squall. Well, it still felt strange to him as well. Not too long ago, he was that boy that brushed everyone off and kept to himself. He pretended to care for no one, but himself. He was doing such a great job acting that even he convinced himself that he did not need anyone. No one equal safe was the motto that Squall lived by. Now he felt he made a complete turn around fro the person he was and no one seemed to know that except Rinoa.
He still had trouble with voice his feeling and what was on his mind, but he was trying. But it was as if everyone else expected him to be a cheerful as Selphie or as carefree as Zell. That was not him. Squall was not very talkative, but this role as a leader forced him to be more vocal. Honestly, he would admit that he loved the feeling that he could rely on people now. He just hated the fear of losing everyone that came with it.
Seeing Quistis freeze made Squall wonder if he made the right decision in telling her of Ultimecia's existance. He wished he had the time to sit down and talk about it or at least to let her reflect on her thoughts, but he did not. Really there was nothing to think about; they either fight or die. Running away would only buy a small amount of time and Squall rather go down fighting then to not fight at all. Throwing a glance in Rinoa's direction, Squall shrugged slightly and followed behind her to enter the elevator.
"Cocoon. Our objective is to get Selphie and Sonuske back safely." Hopefully, they could just find Selphie and the boy and get out of there without encountering any trouble. If Sonuske was with Selphie then they was a change that Fate was also there too. They both were Trabia Garden Cadets so Squall could not just leave them there. Selphie had only mentioned Sonuske's name so maybe Fate was not there. Well, Squall would find out when they arrived in Cocoon.
As the elevator stop at the first floor, Squall stepped off and waited for the two ladies to follow. "I'll meet you both at the airship. I'm going to grab a few people to help me gather the supplies." No more words was spoken from the Lone Wolf. He ran down the stairs to search for a few guys that could help him.

The elevator ride was silent, only Squall brought Quistis's train of thought with the simple detail to bring Selphie and Sonuske back. However soon it returned to that of Ultimecia and why she had returned. How could she have after everything, they thought it was over and that everyone could just live on in piece. Then there was Seifer, was he working with her? These same thoughts just kept playing out in her mind over and over like a broken record that she had to try and stop her thoughts before they consumed her.
She watched him walk out, how he had changed since that fight. It almost killed them all yet it brought them all so close together at the same time. Though she wished it never happened she knew that things wouldn't be like this if they had. It really was bitter sweet, bitter because of all the pain and suffering Ultimecia caused and sweet because it brought all of them so much closer together.
Nodding her head she turned to face Rinoa “And so another adventure beings... She didn't know if Rinoa would be coming with her to the docks or not but she began to type in the code on the elevator button pad to get there. Ever since the garden had become a flying garden they had spent some time to make changes and modifications so that it was more functional. For one, the underground car park was now used as a docking bay. Though it was under the garden it was modified so that a launch pad could lift up through the garden and the roof of the garden in this particular section would open up to allow the Ragnarok access. It also meant that for space launches, not that they needed them, could be made as well. This was done by launching the Ragnarock from the ground level and having to shoot all the way up out the top, much like in Esther.
The elevator doors opened and Quistis walked out into the docking room. Immediately she began to give orders on the perpetration of the ship, explaining only that it was needed for a roughly three day journey to Esther but was to be stocked for a week. Though the ship already could maintain a crew for a month, that was only for emergences when things didn't go to plan. It was for this reason that Quistis asked for a weeks worth and not three days.

"Probably sooner than anyone expected though....."
Rinoa smiled slightly as she followed behind Qusitis as she looked around towards the busy underground docking room. It was hard to believe that it existed under the flying garden, especially since such an area would require lots of space. Of course, the Balamb area was much like an island in the sky. So why wouldn't it be possible? Watching as the older female began to give out orders, she shifted her attention towards the dragon shaped ship.
It held a special place in her memory, considering how it had saved her and Squall from dying in space. It was also the place where she realized just how much she loved him. Despite its fierce appearance, Rinoa saw a vessel of true beauty.
((Sorry for it being so late))

Another unwanted adventure if you asked Squall. Maybe it did bring the group closer together, which Squall was grateful for even if he did not show it, but it also brought a realization to his fears. In this lifestyle that he had chosen, you could lose anyone, any day. Now Selphie was on a world that Ultimecia was last seen. It was slowly driving him crazy thinking about the possibility that Selphie could be hurt by Ultimecia or worst; killed. It was better if he just let those thoughts go. He was a leader and he could not think like this.
After finding a few guys to help with the supplies, Squall made his way to the docking area where he would find Quistis and Rinoa. Squall pointed to the ship, signaling for the guys to place the crates of supplies on the ship. As they did so, Squall walked to rejoin the two ladies. "Will everything be ready by time we get all the supplies on board?" Squall was not trying to come off as impatient, but he wanted to get leave as quick as possible. They had to travel to Trabia and then enter a world that may be just as big or bigger than their own.
"What is it you wanted to speak about, Rinoa?" They had nothing, but time so she might as well speak. It would also been a great help of getting his mind off of the whole situation at hand. He turned his gaze to Rinoa, wondering what it could possibly be. Hopefully, it was something that she did not mind sharing in front of Quistis.

The elevator door had just opened as the man stepped inside. His boots made a nice 'clak' noise as he stepped inside and the door shut, he hit the button for the docking bay and the elevator began to move. He had just arrived at Garden awhile ago, and while Squall's office was empty he did see the report. He looked up and watched the numbers decrease as the elevator continued to move down. He had a good feeling the team needed his help, and since he was done his previous arrangements he could help out. He didn't know to much about the details, but those monsters definitely didn't seem like they were a friendly bunch. Letting out a sigh he wondered what the entire situation was and hoped he wasn't out of the loop for TOO long.
That aside, he had wondered how the group was doing since he last left. Since Squall was in charge he probably was talking a whole lot more and the man couldn't help but chuckle at the idea. Zell was probably ten times stronger and still a goofball. Quistis was probably even more of a foxy lady than before, he definitely couldn't wait to see her again. Then there was Miss Rinoa, but sadly she probably was proposed to by Squall by now. Would there still be flirting? Hell yes. But of course the best for last, Selphie. He still hadn't told her what he wanted to but this would be the perfect opportunity and he would seize it with everything he had. It was that or look uncool as hell and he wouldn't have that.
Getting a last minute check Irvine checked all his supplies that he kept in his jacket. For close quarters combat he had two pistols strapped to his sides within hid jacket that were well hidden from plain sight. In his upper inner jacket pockets were a few small potions and a few extra pieces of ammunition he got while he was away. Slung over his shoulder was of course his trusty rifle and he was sure he could grab a scope once he caught up with the others. He was as armed as he could be and was damn well ready for a good amount of trouble. Not that he enjoyed the trouble one bit, but if it was for Selphie and the others he would blast it out of the way.
Shifting his position a bit he could feel his duster move around a bit in motion with his body. The elevator finally reached the docking bay floor and he quickly adjusted his hat before the door opened. Stepping forward he maintained a slow pace as the 'clak clak' noise of his footsteps rang throughout the hangar. He easily recognized the others but was certainly bummed to not see Zell or Selphie just yet, but he was sure he would see them soon. Glancing up he saw the rather large and familiar ship they would be taking for whatever mission this was. Giving a big grin he reached the trio and was a few steps behind Squall. " It looks like a party in here, got room for one more Captain Squall?" His words were full of cheer despite the unknown situation being the exact opposite..

Quistis was handed a clipboard and a few sheets of paper were clipped to it. She went through each of them as she moved around the outside of the ship checking to see if everything was ready there. She was very thorough in her observations and this meant that by the time she was done she had three things for the maintenance team to look at before she moved to the inside.
Giving the clipboard a once over Quistis concluded that they should be ready soon. “We should have everything ready soon, just need to check over the supplies you have gathered and we should be fine.” Making her way to the inside of the ship she began the work of checking the supplies that Squall had ordered on as well as any other faults that could have been missed.
Looking over Squalls supplies she noticed that he too had arranged for extra. She wondered how long he thought they would be staying or if he knew that they could get back. That was something that truly played on her mind because in her mission report never had she seen something that went in, come out. Letting out a sigh she couldn't help but wonder about Selphie and if she was ok. She left a message not long ago saying she was ok but she really did sound like she just wanted to come home.
After about several minutes Quistis signed off on the sheets of paper on the clipboard and ordered the flight crew to ready the ship for take off. All that was left now were for the passengers to get on board so walking out to the docking bay she called out to them. She had to yell so her voice would carry for the engines had been started. “Alright the ship is ready to go, everyone hop on board and get strapped in for take off. Quistis had to bring her hand to her face to hold her hair back as the gush of wind from the engines filled the room. “Lets go people” Turing back Quistis made her way back inside the ship.

Looking towards Squall as he asked her about what she had come to talk to him about earlier, Rinoa blinked as she shook her head. Right now, it wasn't a matter that needed to be addressed. Despite wanting to keep her word to the people of Timber, it just didn't seem to be the right time to try and bring up a plan in the middle of all this. As much as it made her feel terrible, especially when she seemed to have placed it on the back burner for so long, they had to help Selphie first.
"I had just come up with a plan for Timber...But it can wait in till we get Selphie back. That's what we need to focus on right?"
As she spoke, she soon heard the familiar barking of her faithful dog. Upon running up beside her, Rinoa gently knelt down and rubbed her head with both hands before looking up towards Qusitis as she announced that everything was ready and they needed to strap in. Smiling as she stood up to her feet, she shrugged her shoulders before giggling towards Squall.
"Lets go save Selphie......"
Making her way towards the inside of the ship, the young woman waved towards Irvine as she made his arrival to Squall position before disappearing inside. Rinoa really was hoping that her friend was safe. With everything that was happening, it was too dangerous for any of them to be alone.

Perfect! So all that was left was the check the supplies. Squall could always count on Quistis to get a job done. Squall patted Quistis on the shoulder and smiled slightly. "Thank you. Once we get on board you should get that rest..." He said, "I'll take care of everything until we reach Selphie." Yeah, it was not much, but it was all Squall could offer at the time. Maybe Squall would just give her the passenger room to her self so that she could get rest.
As Quistis walked away, Squall focused his attention on Rinoa. Anything she had to say was usually important so it would do everyone best if he listened. A plan for Timber? Squall nodded. It would be best to wait until they saved Selphie to hear the rest. Besides, Selphie was one of the SeeDs assigned to help the Forest Owls, the others being Squall and Zell. "Yes. Let's focus on saving Selphie, but... Are you ready for this?" The question was actually directed more at himself. Was he ready for another encounter with Ultimecia? It did matter now since Selphie was in trouble.
Squall turned to see the cowboy known as Irvine standing there, grinning. Of course he had no clue what was going on. Squall had planned for Irvine to stay here, but he did have feeling for Selphie. Maybe the same feelings that Squall held for Rinoa. Letting out a sigh, Squall turn to one of the cadets. "Tell Xu that Irvine will be joining my party for the trip to Esthar..." The cadet nodded before running off to handle his objective. Squall turned back to Irvine. He would fill him in on the ship.
Then Angelo decided to join the party. It was uncanny how Angelo could find Rinoa. But maybe he would be useful. Squall followed behind Rinoa, signaling for Irvine to follow. Upon entering the ship Squall looked around. It had been too long since he had been inside. "Irvine. We're going to save Selphie... She's stuck on another world." He knew that would not make much sense, but Irvine would just have to believe it. Squall made his way to the cockpit to make sure everything would flow freely.
