Gran Pulse. This world is considered hell to those on Cocoon and one was weak of heart SaS would agree with them. But to him, this place was just a giant training ground complete with food, drink, and monsters to obliterate. Stepping out from one of the unsafe portals SaS began to cough. Greaaaat, he got dropped off in front of a Behemoth. "I don't suppose we can...talk this out?" He asked with a smirk before he got a huge roar in response. Soon enough the Behemoth jumped at him.

Sonuske had inexplicably ended up in yet another world! Though he had a feeling he wasn't as far away as he usually was. This place seemed close to Cocoon to him for some reason. But that didn't matter, he was back to the usual gimmick or him and Fate finding portals and world hopping. He wouldn't openly admit it, but it felt good to be back traveling with Fate. He looked around the strange new place. It was a welcome change of scenery! A beautiful sky with nice clouds, a lush vivid green landscape, and giant monsters attacking people.... Wait, what?!
He had to double take to see an extremely large monster attacking a severly smaller man not too far away from them. It was roughly the size of two T-Rexaurs if he had to guess. He turned to look at Fate, whom he knew would jump in to save the guy. He had no idea what this beast could do, but he didn't plan to sit around and find out either. He clasped his hands together and his shadow shot out, snaking towards the monsters and connected the two. He felt like he was being compressed under something heavy. This thing was strong to make him struggle with his shadow possession like this. "Quick, finish this thing before my technique wears off!!" He shouted through strained teeth.

Honestly, Fate Lingod would not be caught dead staying on Gran Pulse longer than he had to. The technology here was no where near up to date as his world or that of Cocoon. It was beautiful, but too wildlife for the boy. Still, it was something he was willing and was going to get use for to stay closer to Vanille. The major problem would be if Sonuske wanted to make this place their new home. So Fate decided to drag him on a small tour of Gran Pulse to see how he would handle it... Well, rather like it than handle it.
"So over there I was thinking about putting in a pool..." He pointed to the open field that was filled with Pulsian creatures. Maybe putting a pool there would not be a good idea. Gran Pulse was sort of like exploring Centra except with bigger and more deadly monsters. Everything seemed to be going well until they saw a man being attack by a Behemoth. Well, Fate couldn't just sit back and let this happen. He was somewhat of a hero after all.
He unsheathed one of his blades and charged for the creatures, assuming his friend would do that job. Fate had experience fighting this beast and knew that it had tough skin that he would not be able to pierce. Seeing that the beast was trapped within Sonuske's shadow, Fate picked up his speed. "Open wide!" He leaped forward, letting the blade slide into the creature's mouth. The creature gagged up blood and flailed for a moment before falling upon Fate.
After a minute, Fate finally pulled himself from under the dead beast with a slight grin on his face. "Take one and call me in the morning." He brushed the blade off in the grass and placed it back in its proper sheath. Turning his attention to the man, he walked up to him offering a hand to help him up. "You alright man?"

SaS couldn't believe it for a minute that he didn't have to fight. Although he was a little bummed out that he didn't get to kill the monster he sure as hell couldn't complain about it or anything. The fact that the combination worked so well made SaS wonder if these two were friends or something similar. Eithe way the guys helped him out of a pinch so he felt he had to say something. Glancing up he saw one of them extend his hand and SaS took it and pulled up. Reaching down he dusted off his clothes and glanced over at the creature next to him. How could he have left himself this wide open? Easily, by being a bitch! Reminding himself of such a weakness SaS nodded to himself before smiling at his saviors. One of which seemed to be in...what looked to be a ninja get up of sorts, or at least something you would think ninja's sneak around in. The clothes seemed very tight and very comfy to move in so chances were that this guy was a fast and agile fighter. The other guy had a more elegant attire and seemed to be trying to have a more refined look. To say the least these two were interesting. SaS cleared his throat for a moment before preparing to speak a few words for their help. " Thank you." He said softly not wanting to say much more than what he wanted to express. He placed his hands at his sides and gave a small box of appreciation but said nothing more for a moment.
Realizing how rude he was being still he let is arms relax before speaking again. " The name is SaS. Pleasure to meet you." His tone was calm and collected but not necessarily deep like a mans tone even though he was twenty years old. He let out a content smile as he awaited the introduction of the two men before him.

"A pool?..... Really? I don't think those things are gonna be happy about that." Sonuske said, raising an eyebrow as he looked at the point Fate pointed to. That didn't look safe at all. Those creatures didn't look user friendly either. Fate must've been crazy! The hell would he come here purposefully for? This place was a death trap! The scenery lulled you into a false sense of security, then the giant monsters ate you when you weren't looking! Looks like he wouldn't be taking a nap here anytime soon.... Or ever.
Sonuske released his technique as soon as he saw Fate fell the beast quickly. Atleast he didn't have to put forth anymore effort. He exhaled and stood up straight, walking over to the two of them with his hands in his pockets. When did Fate learn to listen to instructions like that? Maybe his time on Gran Pulse was useful after all! He stretched his back once he reached the two, staring up at the sky for a few seconds. Besides the giant monsters, this place was pretty nice.
He looked back down to the guy they had just saved, whom he had a feeling didn't need saving in the first place. But it was too late to dwell on that, it was over. "No problem. I'm Sonuske, nice to meetcha SaS." He said, giving the guy a friendly smile. He turned to Fate for a brief moment, then back to SaS, extending his hand still smiling.

"Nah, those creatures won't be a major problem, my friend," He shrugged slightly, "I was planning on letting you handle them since you so good with animals." Well, he knew that was not going to sit well with Sonuske, but it was fun teasing him. Besides, he highly doubted that Fang would allow him to put a pool on her Grand Pulse.
Fate already knew that Sonuske was excessing the environment. He always thought things through intelligently and logically. That is why Fate was here to just make him jump into action. That almost got us killed on a number of occasions. Almost doesn't count. Yeah, tell that to the Red Dragon that was inches from walkin' away with ya life.
"Aye, no problem man. You need to be careful around here though," He said to SaS, "That creature right there isn't even one of the big ones." Fate had his run in with a number of creatures on Pulse and they all were deadly in their own way, especially that really huge one (forgot the name of that Long-neck bastard). As they introduced themselves, Fate nodded. No reason to be shy now.
"And i'm the better half of this team. Just call me Fate," He smiled, "So that eyepatch just for show or is there a story behind it Mr. SaS?" It never took long for Fate to start questioning someone. He was truly annoying at times... Okay, most of the time. But questions was how you got to know people and the eyepatch was pretty cool.

Sonuske. Fate. The two names rang out into his mind for a good few seconds as if his body was telling him something. Or maybe he was over thinking things like some wannabe hero in a cartoon or something. Either way these twos guys seemed rather nice for people who walk around dangers planets like its a walk in the park. More than likely this meant these two were really strong, really badass, or really stupid. Considering the dead behemoth that was barely 5 feet away, SaS more than likely would bet on the first two and leave it at that. Extending his hand he gave a small handshake to the man named Sonuske as Fate asked him a very common question.
To be honest SaS lost track of the amount times he was asked about eye patch and considered it as normal a question as 'what is the time?' Well, except instead of answering with a time he had to give a short and simple answer. This was mostly because not only did he forget almost all of his past, he also has no clue why his eye can do the things it does. He just knew that his eye looked like a tomato with a pupil and therefore, covered it up for the sake of mankind and himself. SaS brushed aside his hair with his hand before thinking of a good answer. " There is a story but to make it short, I woke up and my eye was redder than a tomato and it had super powers," he replied with a small smirk.
Yeah, that was short, sweet, and to the point. Right?

Sonuske raised an eyebrow at that statement. He had to be kidding. Sonny actually laughed a little bit. "The only animal I'm good with is you, ya monkey." He responded still laughing. That was a good one. Everyone who knew Sonuske knew that dealing with anything was too much work for him. He'd quit before he started. Unless he was getting paid, then he'd do the bare minimum to get his paycheck.
Sonuske had to think logcially. If he didn't, who would? Certainly not Fate! He never thought anything through! Okay, so that was pushint it a bit far, Sonny had to admit, his buddy was pretty smart, he just never sat still long enough to use it intelligence. He wondered what other kinds of creatures lived here on Gran Pulse. They most certainly all wanted to eat them, he doubted there lived any herbivores. Then again, there had to be with all this green around, the food chain couldn't be ignored.
He mentally smacked his forehead when Fate asked SaS about his eyepatch. He just had to come out and ask such a personal question! They just met the guy! He could be irrational and incosiderate sometimes. He sighed. But after hearing the brief story, he got a little curious himself. "Super powers? Like what? X-ray vision?"

"Oh! So you got jokes now? It's cool man," Fate shrugged again, "At least i'm not the one that has to wear a raincoat to sleep. You piss-baby!" Honestly, that was better than wearing nothing to sleep which Fate did numberous times. It was really comfortable and easy to move with. Dude, that's just nasty... It seemed like Sonuske did really enjoy this place. That sucked because Fate had no clue of what he should do. He did not want to leave what he had with Vanille nor did he want to take her away from her home. Ya couldn't fall for a girl on our own world? I have no problem with it. I like Vanille and I like Fang and all her bi-polor-ness. Totally created a new word there. No, you didn't! You just added 'ness' at the end. And i'm pretty sure plenty of other idiots done that long before you. ...Freakin' smart ass...
Thinking logically was Sonuske job! Of course Fate could do it, but staying still was not his style. Way he saw it was he could stay still when he was dead. Again, that's how all our problems start... If ya just stay-- Why are you still talking? Cause I stay on ya mind... Literally. Fate looked SaS up and down. Why did they had to run into all these strange people when traveling these worlds. Fate was glad to see that SaS was friendly enough to answer his question, but that just brought up another... "You were experimented on?"
So there might have been experimenting in this world to. Why did people experiment with other people anway? Fate knew the answer to that all to well. It just was not fair to those who were not given a choice. "X-Ray vision... Really man? You just want him to look at you naked! What's wrong with you?" He laughed, "Besides, everyone knows that a eye powers is usually seeing into the future."

He looked at the two with a small smile forming on his face. Something about these two gave him an easy and peaceful feeling which was odd since he suspected most people were bastards. Then again maybe he was thankful they came to his aide without a reason or demand. All in all SaS could tell these were nice guys and that was what mattered. When the matter of his eye came up SaS was unsure how to answer but chuckled at the possibilities they gave. X-ray vision sounded nice but SaS didn't need to see anyone naked so it was all good. Future sight was close but not exactly it. " Well not exactly the future but my eye can forsee movements in a fight sometimes. But most of the time it can tell the strength and aura type of a person. I got it from a curse not an experiment. " He spoke calmly as he explained the situation of his eye to them without revealing how. He didn't want to be a bother nor did he want to cause any trouble for the dragon to act on.
SaS...you can trust..them. A voice rang out in his head which caused him to place his hand on his head. Odd, the voice sounded familiar but he hasn't spoken to a girl in years with such a tone. Shaking the thought he smiled at the guys before wondering how to continue the conversation. " So are you two brothers? Why are ya here on such an annoying planet?"

Sonuske cut a glance at Fate. Was he really doing this? He always had jokes! While he was away, Sonuske had learned a few things of his own. And he'd be more than happy to share them with his buddy. "Atleast I don't wake up to brown streaks in my underwear. You should really take care of that before you go to sleep if you can't hold it." Did he really just do that? Oh yeah! He went there! Badazzled! (lol)
He looked back and forth bewteen Fate and SaS for a few moments, before letting his gaze rest on SaS. He hoped Fate had found a kindred spirit in the fact that they were both experimented on. Not that he wanted the guy to go through that kind of trauma, but it would probably make Fate happy to find someone more like him. Though Fate was still weird by a longshot, atleast with another experiment he wouldn't look as weird.
And there went the feeling of sympathy he was just feeling for Fate. Sonuske wanted to punch him in the face, but he decided not to do it this time. "Ya know, no one was even thinking that way till you said it. What's wrong with 'you' pal?" He did it again! Zing! "A power can be anything, don't be so stupid all the time. I know you got brain in that oversized head of your's, how about you use it once in a while?" and they kept coming!
He turned back to SaS. So pretty much he had a strength detector. That had to come in handy. Not to mention seeing people's intentions in a fight, that had to make him a pretty good combatant. Then again, just because you can see something coming doesn't mean you can stop it from happening. He grinned at the question, almost immediately responding with a yes, but he realized they weren't blood, or were they?. (Epic foreshadowing) He shook his head. "Not exactly, we might as well be though. But we're here because ol' Zippy here wanted me to check out the scenery." He answered. "What brings you here?"

Apparently, Sonuske did not get how this team worked! Fate was the cool guy with the jokes who always got them into epic adventures. Sonuske was suppose to be the one who used his brain and listened to what Fate told him to do. It was a simple team dynamic which Sonuske was having a hard time following. "I can hold it. It's just your mom is into some really freaky stuff," He smirked, "She did this one thing with her mom and my toes. It felt so good!" Yeah, this was not a game that you wanted to play with Fate. He was too annoying and stupid to ever call it quits.
"Aye, so I was a little off the money. At least I didn't think you had X-Ray vision!" He laughed, "This isn't a comic book or some fantasy RPG Sonny. Grow up." Fate knew it would make Sonuske even more mad that he told him to grow up. Fate was clearly the childish one of the two. Man, did he like pushing his buddies buttons. Still, he was the only person that could do that. Anyone else would catch a grade 'A' beating! Fate rubbed the back of his head and let out a silent sigh. So this guy was not experimented on. It would have been nice to have someone to relate to, but it was no biggie. "A curse... Well, i'm sure that curse comes in handy every now and then, right?"
"I do have a brain... Ask your mother! Besides, I'm an action guy. I jump into the battle and think of a plan as I go along..." Slash! Bash! Gash! Sounds like the best plan to me. Which it was. Why think about stuff when you had the power of electricity at your hands? Fate swung his arm around Sonuske's neck and pulled him closer. "We are brothers! Just different parents! Seriously... This guy forced me to be his friend," He said jokingly, "I felt bad because he didn't have anyone to hang out with so I offered him my time."

SaS couldn't help but chuckle at the friendly nature these two had with one another, it was truly an interesting sight. To most his thoughts on the matter would be considered odd but SaS's past was shrouded in blood and darkness and the only light in this world was his sister. Oddly enough she was very quiet when she heard the name Asama as if it had a deeper meaning or she was shocked to hear. What worried SaS further was the silence displayed by even the Dragon. These two had to be important or some very powerful beings. Feeling another painful shock to his head he began to hold it for a moment before quickly lowering his hand. He had to take his mind off the pain.
Oh right, he mentioned the curse. Looking at the man named Fate he gave a weak smile before making a 'so-so' motion with his hand. " I'm not going to say it's useless but I could do better off without it sometimes," he replied calmly as he glanced between the two again trying to ignore the giant pains and warning signs his body was giving him. Who were these two damnit!? Hearing Sonuske's question he nodded and felt worried his answer would be to odd. Feeling that these two wouldn't be the type to judge based on a persons reasoning SaS rubbed his neck and let out a sigh.
" I was drawn here by the two beings within me. There is a purpose for me being here....I just don't know what it is at the moment." SaS had said this with the utmost seriousness as if this was a matter of life and death to him. And based on the vibes he was getting from these two it was becoming more obvious his purpose here was to meet these two. But why? For what reason? He didn't want to straight up tell them he felt it was them because it would be kinda weird and tough to explain. Being lost in his thoughts, SaS would not notice the spirit of light within him begin to materialize behind him and smiling at Sonuske and Fate.
